- Monica (9/5): Quiant, Exceeded Expectations - To my surprise it had a kitchenette which I wasn’t aware of. That was a very pleasant surprise. However it wasn’t much of a kitchen, but it sure did the trick. I was pleased. We were given an extra bedroom as well that I wasn’t aware of initially, which as a couple traveling quite heavy with luggage, helped as a place to keep it all as to not make the bedroom overcrowded. The bathroom was lovely, very pretty and relaxing. I was provided with loads of information by the owner and even was suggested some places to visit around the area. I was very pleased with all the information provided. I had a question about the key box as the first one I tried didn’t have a key in it at all. I called the number they provided me with and got a speedy response and solution. My key was just in another key box and was provided the code immediately. Very pleased with the service. I wasn’t impressed at first, I felt iffy about it. However, staying there a few days it grew on me quickly. We honestly started to feel like locals in just a couple days. I would definitely return if I ever needed to be in that particular area again. However I initially needed to be closer to London, and had to cut my stay short by one night due to needing to get farther into town for speedier travel. Wish I didn’t because I immediately missed it here and wanted to come back. I wish it had been a bit cheaper. My first thought was we paid too much, as we asked for a double bed, however we received two twin beds pushed together and not even provided a double bed duvet, just two separate and small twin duvets. Thinking back however there did seem to be more linens in the closet that I didn’t go through which may have been another duvet, I’m not sure. Open entering the door, we were racing to get off the street due to some very angry person yelling trying to get into someone’s home. Wasn’t a good first impression of the neighborhood, as it made me nervous about going out later in the evenings. Staying a few days however it didn’t seem to be as bad as it initially did to begin with. The most odd thing about out room is it was up the stairs and was divided into four separate rooms along a hallway; bathroom, kitchen, one bedroom, then the master bedroom. The person staying upstairs had to go through the hallway which felt like apart of our room, to get to their room another floor up. We often met them with our bedroom door open and said hello. Felt like roommates. 😅 I’m sure it felt a bit awkward for them. The problem was it was so hot in the bedroom day and night, we so would open all the windows we could in the evening to get some air movement through the place which worked but we couldn’t shut any of the doors, however we did at night and just suffered through the heat. 🥲
- Lisa (1/5): Bad - Dog poo in the garden everywhere. The fire door was broken and had terrible being in. The photos on booking.com are 10 years old and the property no longer looks like its advertising. Have tried contacting the property but don't answer when I needed help getting into the property as the door was broken and couldn't get in. Company's are ignored so don't waste your money
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -

- Gareth (2/5): Very poor -
- Callum (7/5): Good - Location, the management team.
- Edwin (4/5): Disappointing - it was reasonably clean. The host is a nice man. 5 min. walk to the general hospital. Garden was loaded with (fox?)poop. We couldn't open the doors to the garden for some fresh air. The house is located at a busy road, so it brings in a lot of noise when open windows on the street-side of the house. I had expected a small but normal apartment with a separate bed room.
- Mueen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Callum (10/5): Exceptional - The host is very helpful, the location is fantastic, surrounded by so many good food options.Watford town centre is full of a diverse range of cuisines from many different cultures It can be a little noisy, due to location.

- Mark (1/5): Don’t book this property, should not be on Booking.com website or any website - Nothing could not stay as it was very dirty and had a unmade bed and dirty mattress. Had to find alternative accommodation. And owner refused a refund Very dirty, unmade bed with dirty mattress, house was a dump
- Kevin (9/5): well kept property, and comfy. - for what we used the property for it was very suited. it was more a place to rest our head while working. did not really use all the features within the property the only thing I could say is the front door bangs as people come and go

Gave us all the information needed.
Flat was nice and cosy and the heating was on at all the time during our stay.
Very good location, close to secure parking, shops and takeaways. Also good walking distance to tube and railway stations.
- Catherine (1/5): Freezing as the heating did not work - not good in December! - NA Heating that worked
- Gillian (9/5): great location - close to everything nothing
- Ben (7/5): Good -
- 1nterpol (6/5): Budget stay in Watford centre - Centrally located in town. Bed comfortable. Easy communication with mgt. Basic furnishing. Kitchen was not well equipped, no glasses just random items and no sink. Street noise and traffic.
- Nishant (10/5): I would highly recommend this to my family and friends. - Hitesh was extremely helpful and kind to sort out everything before even checking in by making a courtesy call. He made sure our stay was comfortable and that our issues were resolved quickly. His constant support made this choice worth. Everything was as expected as per our booking confirmation. Nothing to dislike.
- Emma (10/5): I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was very friendly service - The location was perfectly close to all amenities and having a kitchen area was ideal as to cook A bigger fridge and freezer as to save money as there on business and working long hours
- Andy (9/5): Superb - Exceptional staff kindness and diligence. Very clean, very quiet with double glazing.
- Mohammed (8/5): Very good -
- TIMOTHY (2/5): Avoid like the plague - Not a hotel private resident seedy area no off road parking
- Gary (4/5): Watford General Suites - Our room was nothing like the pictures.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again - It was terrible
- Verified traveler (4/5): If all you need is a roof and a bed..... - .....it’ll do.
Actually that’s unfair, there was a shared toilet and a shower too.
It kept me dry, and gave me a place to lay my head and sleep.
But other than that, I can not recommend it. Felt a bit grim, and room had not been very well cleaned.
There was no address provided so all I could do was head to the dot on the map shown on the Expedia page. When I got there, there was no sign from the outside that I was in the right place. I tried contacting the host (who had been very responsive earlier in the day when it involved taking payment), who would not answer their phone. Just as I was beginning to think the place didn’t exist, and that I’d been ripped off, they called me back, and directed me to the house.
As I say, no way you’d have known it was the right place otherwise.
From that point on; fine. As I say, nothing good to say other than that it was dry and I slept.
