The rooms are small and sparsely decorated. A little attention to the hotel would give it an entirely different feel!

• Tatsuya (9/5): 素晴らしいオアハカでの滞在 - 朝食の時間が8時からで、ツアーが7時集合・8時集合で、朝食が間に合わなかったが、事前に伝えておくと、サンドイッチなどを用意してもらえた（ただ、プランによるかもですが、朝食有料でした）。 室内にお水が用意されていますが、自分はお腹が緩んだので、廊下にあるウォーターサーバーの水を利用するほうが良いかと思います。 若干部屋（特に、シャワールーム）が狭く感じましたが、1人の滞在でも快適でした。 オーナー以外のスタッフさんが、スペイン語しか話せず、若干コミュニケーション取るのに苦労したので（特に、朝食が有料かどうかが、事前にわからなかった）、Google翻訳を使ってしっかりとコミュニケーションを取った方がよいと思います。
• Andrew (10/5): Fantastic small hotel with excellent staff and great location in Oaxaca - Such a great place. Location is fantastic and accessible to everything you want to see in Oaxaca. The place is really nice and breakfast on the rooftop was ideal. Staff is great. I had some travel delays and was late and the staff was so helpful in helping me adjust my trip. Fantastic hotel at any price but this one was also so affordable Nothing. Everything was fantastic. Would highly recommend this place.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and provided us with coffee while we waited for our room. The rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The rooftop is wonderful, especially at night to see the city lights. The location is excellent for accessing Oaxaca Centro and many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and places to buy local products. Highly recommend!

• Lisa (8/5): Lovely little place in the heart of Oaxaca City. - This is a lovely little bed and breakfast in the heart of Oaxaca City. The beds were very comfortable, with lovely linens. The hotel provides a breakfast each morning on the rooftop which was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. In fact, when two in our party had a 4 AM departure from the hotel, a staff member arose to make sure the taxi picked them up. So appreciated! The rooms are on the small side and the bathrooms are quite tight. I would still stay here given the location and all of the other positives about the hotel.

• Jonathan F (9/5): Comfortable, clean, stellar service, good value for money - Absolutely stellar service (special mentions to Andres and Cesar). The room was cosy and the bed comfortable. Although the shower head was overdue for a declog, there was good pressure and hot water. The rooftop terrasse is great and the food (only had breakfasts) was very good. The place is on a street very busy with car traffic (otherwise very calm). Our room was in the front of the building so it felt like we were sitting in traffic throughout the day. Fortunately, it gets quieter at night so we were able to get some sleep but it starts again in the morning around 6. There's a sort of short balcony opening on the very cute street, it felt like a shame we couldn't enjoy it because of all the noise and exhaust fumes.

We didn't find the street noise to be an issue. Would definitely stay again! Not much to say here. The bathrooms are a little small, but that's not something they have control over.

Breakfast on the terrace each morning was also great! There was a lot of noise all night, even at the rooms towards the back. Bathrooms are also pretty outdated vs the photos, but everything worked fine.
• Kilian (7/5): Schöne Unterkunft in Oaxaca - Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Dachterrasse und eine gute Lage und bequeme Betten. Am frühen Anreisetag erhielten wir ein warmes Getränk und konnten früher einchecken. Frühstück à la Carte (jedoch beschränkte Auswahl wenn Frühstückspaket gebucht). Leckerer Orangensaft. Bei dem gebuchten Frühstück gab es nur eine beschränkte Auswahlmöglichkeit. Weitere Frühstücksspeisen waren nur gegen volle Gebühr erhältlich (Memelas, Kakao etc.). Dies hat sich uns nicht erschlossen, zumal die kostenpflichtigen Optionen teils günstiger auf der Karte waren. Klimaanlage vorhanden jedoch erzeugte sie einen komischen Geruch (Ammoniak/Urin?). Einige Dinge benötigen Maintenance (Wasserhahn, Wasserschaden im Regal, Mückengitter).

They helped us increase the length of our stay, helped us move rooms and called us a taxi for the airport! The location is great too, a walk away from everything! Overall, the place was nice, but there were a few small details that could be improved. For example, the hand soap being quite diluted and the lack of a bin liner or lid for the bathroom bin. At breakfast, a couple of the items we wanted weren’t available. The rooftop is pleasant, although the photos made it seem like there might be bar service. With a few small adjustments, the experience could be even better.

Housekeeping staff were outstanding....friendly smiling faces!! And the hotel location was superb, within walking distance of everything. And Andres the hotel manager was so welcoming & friendly. I loved the Comala Inn and will most definitely return!! A couple of the days, the shower water was not heated.....not sure why??

• Brian (8/5): Good location other than noise - The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed a sunset on the rooftop when we arrived. The location in the city was convenient walking distance to many attractions and good restaurants. Room was kept clean daily. Mattress was comfortable. Our room faced the street and had more traffic noise than I'd have liked. The shower took like 5 minutes to get hot. Our lockbox key got stuck in the lockbox, and requires a locksmith to come. It didn't really work smoothly after that, so we didn't trust leaving our valuables inside. The cleaners accidentally closed the bathroom door and locked us out of our own bathroom, but the staff was able to unlock it with a key, thankfully. Bedding could be a bit more breathable but it was fairly standard for hotels.

• Kathleen (10/5): A comfortable and very clean room, delicious breakfasts, and a very warm, friendly, helpful staff - Breakfasts were delicious, generous and beautifully plated. Each morning one could select from a diverse menu., including Mexican omelettes, local egg dishes with avocado, French toast, and pancakes, all enhanced by a fresh fruit plate. The rooms were cleaned daily and a glass dispenser of purified water was provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to work very well as a team.

The free breakfast was excellent. And the best part was the staff, who were friendly and very helpful, taking care of details and making sure everything worked well. They were easy to communicate with and were very responsive. The rooms weren't very large, but worked well for us.

Beds were comfortable and staff are helpful and friendly. A warm quilt was appreciated during the colder nights. The breakfast (additional cost) was very good. Some of the furnishings need some TLC (night table hanging loose from the wall). Breakfast could have been included. The roof terrace is lovely but there is a lot of traffic noise during week days.

Oscar, Diego y Ales. Son gentes super disponibles y muy amables. Estuvimos muy contentos y bien atendidos. El lugar esta muy bien aprovechado. Las habitaciones están super amplias con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Estuvimos en familia por lo que reservamos 3 habitaciones. En la suite donde estuvieron 3 personas muy amplia. La.comida muy rica. Nuestra tarifa incluía el desayuno y la verdad lo aprovechamos al 100. Muy sabroso. Recomiendo mucho este hotel por la ubicacion, su staff formidable y las habitaciones muy bien. Nuestra habitación daba a la calle ppr lonque es muy ruidosa era la #9. Sugiero doble vidrio a la puerta del balcón.

• Arunkumar (6/5): We will stay here again - This place is very close to the center of the city(about 8 mins walk). Lots of cafes, restaurants were at walkable distance. Manager, Andreas, was extremely pleasant and helpful. He suggested places to visit, eat and took care of the hot water issue immediately. We had to shorten or trip and he accommodated this change by providing the refund without any issues. Very pleasant man and pleasant staff. The room was very clean. It is not like a hotel room, but rather a unit in a big building. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Breakfast was free and good with fruits and pancakes/french toast/omelettes with additional items for purchase. The complementary breakfast was more than enough for us. They were ready to bring the breakfast to the roof which was nice to site and enjoy. There was some demolition work going on in the building next door, and the demolishing noise woke us up couple of mornings around 8am which was kind of irritating as we wanted to enjoy some relaxed time. Some times we could hear the car noises but otherwise not bad.

• Patricia (10/5): Great experience at Cómala. I can’t recommend it enough. - I loved this hotel! The manager, Andreas, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. And Ali and Cesar were always cheerful and helpful, as well. We had breakfast almost every morning at the hotel; the coffee was good and the omelette with sprouts was a pleasant surprise. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and excellent margaritas in the late afternoon. The rooms are small but very workable for two people, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is very clean and in a good location for accessing good restaurants for evening meals. I would definitely stay here again, and so would the others who were with me. We really enjoyed our time there. The rooms were a little on the small side… but then who goes to Oaxaca to sit in the hotel room? I liked everything else about this hotel, especially the staff.
• Julia (9/5): Schöne zentrale Unterkunft mit nettem Personal - zentrale Lage und super nettes Personal. Das Zimmer war recht gross und hatte alles was man für einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt brauche. Wasser wurde ebenfalls kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Zur Unterkunft gehört eine schöne Dachterrasse auf der man entweder morgens frühstücken oder tagsüber und abends verweilen/einen Drink zu sich nehmen kann. Die Dusche war etwas veraltet, bzw. hat einige Minuten gebraucht um warmes Wasser zu erhalten - hier wurden wir aber bereits beim Check-in drauf hingewiesen, sodass es keine Überraschung war. Der angepriesene Balkon war eher ein 20cm herausragendes halbhohes Gitter vor dem Fenster und nicht zum sitzen/verweilen.

• julio (10/5): - buen ubicación, cerca del centro en barrio de casas históricas, muy buenas instalaciones, muy limpio y nuevo, personal super atento, Alejandro y Andrés me ayudaron en un problemita que tuve. Si vuelo a Oaxaca, lugar hermoso, volveré al Comala.
• Rengifo (9/5): Encantador, te sientes en tu casa - Las personas que atienden son un amor, muy serviciales y eficientes, el desayuno delicioso y la ubicación excepcional, queda cerca de todo, a pocas cuadras de los mejores restaurantes siendo super tranquila la calle en la que está ubicado. El primer impacto no es muy bueno, es menos "lujoso" de lo que se ve en las fotos, pero al ratico te enamoras: limpio, tranquilo, camas super cómodas, desayuno fuera de serie y muy buen servicio. No hay ascensor.
