Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Ideally located, it's less than 10 minutes from the airport in a very safe neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Boston Area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy pick-up for keys, convenient parking, close to airport
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment suited our needs very nicely, clean and convenient. It was close to the airport and a LYFT driver picked us up within 5 minutes of our call. The owner was responsive to a couple of minor issues.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice apartment, and super convenient that it's right next to the Silver Line, very easy (and free, at the time!) to get into the city
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Me and my husband stayed at Saige apartments for two nights while we were in Boston. It was in a great location. Free parking spot and the apartment was beautiful, spacious and very clean. We would definitely go again. Thank you Steve for a great communication and hospitality.
- Debbie (10/5): Chelsea - Everything was really nice only caveat was the lockbox it didn’t have the letter on it that would let us know which was the lock to retrieve the key, there were 4 boxes and only one marked. Not a deal breaker since only had to try 3. Other than that all good, especially having a designated parking spot!
- joseph (2/5): - Only after I booked a rental through Expedia, which took my credit card info and confirmed I had a reservation, did I receive a contract from Sage Apartments. The contract had me on the financial hook for various contingencies, including $200 for one thing and $500 for another - all as assessed by the management company. It said I could only stay if I signed the contract. I called the property, but did not get a human - they communicate only through text. I did not hear back. Having had a previous negative experience with a motorcycle contract, I did not did not sign the contract, did not stay there. It is unclear that I will be getting a refund on my reservation. All this should have been clear before I booked. It was not.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location for access to Logan. Nice apartment.
- Stacey (10/5): Boston vaca - Great place at a great price. Close to some great restaurants
- William (8/5): Great location. Good value. - New building in excellent condition. Room a bit sparse but very clean. Location couldn't be better. Right next to bus line. Had to contact owner on day of arrival for access information.
- Charles (2/5): Do Not Stay Here - From the beginning this place was terrible. It starts with 'with your back to the door, look across the street and find the fire hydrant, then locate the fence to locate the lock box to get the key'...then once you have the key, try to use the key fob to unlock the door while reaching across the foyer to open the door at the same time. It shouldn't be so complicated to check in and get into the apartment when you're on vacation! Secondly, the apartment was not the cleanest and the next door neighbors were smoking weed (fyi...for what it's worth). The only lock to the apartment is with the key, so there's no way to feel secure and safe once you're inside. Whoever else has a key can walk right in at any given moment...or while you're sleeping. For that matter and based on what we saw in the neighborhood....we felt completely unsafe and did not stay there. Even the two Uber drivers we had told us we should change our accommodations. (The one who dropped us off and the one who picked us up to take us to a new hotel). We wound up having to spend more money to stay at another hotel not in the area. We were refused a refund. I was highly, highly disappointed. Never ever again. I have no idea why this place is listed on hotels.com nor do I understand the good reviews it received (which is why I booked it in the first place). Must be friends or family who left those reviews. Again, we were refused a refund.
- david (6/5): Ok place, but slow and complicated registration - Frustrating process getting check in information after completing booking on hotels.com. Booked it Thursday night at 9:30 PM, did not get check in info until Saturday night at 10:41 PM. Had an early flight Sunday morning, so it made for a short night. Did not get the apartment that is pictured in the listing on hotels.com. The unit we received had a different layout and seemed smaller. After paying with credit card, still had to complete an electronic lease and give my credit card info again in the lease along with a copy of my driver's license. Unit only had one hand towel in bathroom, A/C blew cold, but did not remove humidity, and apartment felt muggy and bath towels never really dried.
- Trina (10/5): - Great location! Not far from the history and sights of Boston. Easy commute if you're driving. Parking in Boston is expensive so it was a big convenience having the bus stop right behind the building. We used it daily after spending $30 for a day of parking downtown. It was a great way to experience Boston on the subway AND the train. The neighborhood is lovely. There is a park right across the street from the building and a ton of good eats within walking distance. Our favorite restaurant was a 5 minute walk. The apartment is fabulous! Clean, modern, spacious, quiet, nice and friendly neighbors, and comes with everything you'd need for an extended stay. It was nice to return to after a long day, and it sure beat the cramped size of a hotel room. We really felt at home.
- George (10/5): Very nice apartment near Logan - This apartment is at the Box District stop on the new Silver Line 3 bus route. It has a well-equipped kitchen and is in very good condition. Not much happening in Chelsea, but free parking and the T make it convenient to get to the waterfront and downtown. The price was competitive with even the inexpensive hotels in the area.
- Ginny (8/5): - Sage Apartments is a newer nice complex with secure entrance in a decent neighborhood.Couple things to notate. Description does state bring towels. You may need to or plan on doing laundry. There were 4 towels, 2 wash cloths and hand towels. Adding a couple more towels would help especially if more than 4 staying. We had 3 staying 3 nights not sleeping in same bed but arrived around 10 pm to find no top sheets on the 2 beds and no sheets for the pullout couch. Sheets were brought to us in about an hour. Couch sags badly in the middle (I think the bed frame is bent and has a very very thin lumpy coil mattress. Inless it’s toddlers on the bed was unsleepable. Ended up sleeping on the couch (sleeper closed) with a pillow under the cushions to counter the sagging in the middle. Was comfortable enough to sleep but I’m 5’1 and it’s very short. Sofa needs replaced or changed to a 2 bed description. There was no coffee maker which IS clear in description. Ended up drinking instant as a coffee shop was a few blocks away. Coffee table was covered with a table cloth guessing to cover the marred surface. Also, there is only one set of keys to apartment which made us spitting up and going different directions a pain. There’s a new bus station right behind the complex which made getting around easy. Trek to and from airport fairly quick! The issues with this listing are easily and inexpensively rectified. Communication was quick and responsive and check in/easy.
- Dana (8/5): Great apartment for the price! - It was very nice and comfortable. Clean and very convenient for subway as a stop is right outside the door in the back. The only negative things I can say is that there were not enough hangers in the closets and bathroom had no garbage can. Other then that, it was a great place! I would book here again if the price doesn't go up.
- petra (8/5): Boxdistrict rental - Location is in a clean and friendly beighborhood. Provides a variety of central and south American cuisine nearby. A Dollar store is right around the corner.
Quick and easy trip into Boston using public transport. Silver line bus is right behind the house. Parking too is right behind the house if need be.
You might want to bring a hairdryer this was the only thing missing. A pull out couch Is there but more suitable to child than an adult. This is a great location for a couple. Having a washer/dryer combo was a great addition.
We would love to come here again In the future.
- Christian (10/5): Great Place To Stay! - Fantastic all around!
- Christian (10/5): Simply Spectacular Stay! - Sage Apartments? Absolutely fantastic experience in every way. The unit was meticulous, modern, massive in size - yet cozy, comfy, classy and cassic. The staff were always available on short notice, but never obtrusive or overbearing. Visiting Boston for a romantic getaway, family vacation, business stay or solo, you absolutely CANNOT go wrong. The ability to save and prepare your own meals in an amazing modern kitchen with every convenience of home - and - access to great restaurant's of Boston as well as an upcoming scene in Chelsea is perfection. The distance to every part of the city and its history is amazing. The value of this blend of apartment sublet and hotel cannot be over glorified. You'd be a dummy to stay in a stuffy single hotel of any kind over a Sage Apartment, being the ONLY benifit I could ever see being in the heart of the city proper... And thats not enough of a reason, trust me. Or don't. I'd bet if you even booked one night and compared, you'll kick yourself for wasting money on any other cramped quarters.
