• Alessandro (8/5): - The location is perfect for Matera close to all the town attractions please be aware that you cannot go close to the hotel by car and you have to park nearby. There is a parking area 5 to 10mins walking, before to go there ask the hotel for the nearest parking area. Breakfast excellent. The room is very comfortable and nice but the light in the floor are glaring and disturbing… I suggest them to put some honeycomb…

L'heure au SPA a été très appréciable, l'équipement est formidable, surtout qu'ils limitent le nombre de clients en même temps grâce à des créneaux horaires réservés. Le personnel nous a très bien accueilli. Bcp de choix au petit déjeuner et fruits frais. L'intimité des WC mais cela a été l'occasion de rire un bon coup donc ce n'est pas un red flag.

• catherine (7/5): Très joli mais c'est surcôté : ça ne vaut pas le nombre d'étoiles et le prix demandé. - Très bien situé pour visiter Matera. Chambre plutôt de standing. Personnel agréable et attentif. Très joli SPA et sauna. Buffet petit déjeuner copieux, même s'il y a un peu trop de gâteaux à mon goût. Pas de navette gratuite pour se déplacer dans la ville (vers la gare ou vers le parking de son choix) : seulement une navette payante pour un parking précis payant également. Ceci ne correspond pas au standing prétendu, les autres hôtels proposant toujours ce service. Nous avons dû traverser la ville avec les valises sur des rues pavées avec escalier. Accès très limité au SPA : 1h sur tout un séjour et sur réservation !!! L'espace salle de bain et WC est situé dans la chambre et ne ferme pas par le haut, il n'y a aucune intimité, c'est déplorable pour ce standing ! Les rouleaux de papier toilette sont distribués au compte goutte .

Un grazie anche ai signori dell'assistenza tecnica (Vito, Ivan ed Eustachio) celeri nel risolvere ogni piccola esigenza oltre che molto cortesi. La colazione è risultata molto soddisfacente con diverse possibilità di scelta e prodotti di qualità. Ottimo il personale di sala. Un grazie anche alle signore della SPA, molto brave e professionali. In sintesi per la bellezza della struttura, i comfort e la location (eccezionale) una soluzione assolutamente da consigliare!!! Nulla, tutto davvero perfetto!!!.

They made arriving to the property via car service so smooth for us. It's well worth it to use that service, as the city itself is challenging to navigate on your own. The warm welcome, beautiful rooms, amazing spa and delicious dining were just cherries and whipped cream on top of this beautiful experience. I see why the people of Matera are so proud and why this is a UNESCO world heritage site. I'm coming back to Matera, and staying right here! Questo hotel, insieme alla sua spa, è semplicemente magnifico. Fin dal nostro arrivo, reso impeccabile dal servizio auto, tutto è stato curato con una classe e una fluidità rare. È un servizio che consiglio senza esitazione, anche perché orientarsi in città autonomamente non è affatto semplice. L’accoglienza calorosa, le camere bellissime, la spa eccezionale e la cucina deliziosa hanno coronato un’esperienza già di per sé straordinaria. Si comprende subito perché i materani siano così orgogliosi della loro città e perché Matera sia stata insignita del titolo di Patrimonio Mondiale dell’UNESCO. Tornerò a Matera, e non avrei alcun dubbio su dove soggiornare: qui.

Purtroppo la camera era molto umida e l’odore di muffa era davvero forte, sicuramente per questo non all’altezza di un hotel 5 stelle e del costo alto del soggiorno.
• Paulo (10/5): Sensacional - Excelente localização bem no coração de Matera. O quarto era dentro de uma caverna com todas as comodidades modernas: internet com boa velocidade, TV e banheiro. Nenhum cheio de mofo ou umidade foi sentido. O café da manhã é bom e com várias opções de bolos e pães e podem ser pedidos diferentes tipos de café e omelete ou ovos mexidos. O acesso ao Spa fazia parte do valor da diária e é um local delicioso para passar um tempo relaxando. Algo estranho para mim é não haver porta no banheiro, vaso e chuveiro ficam expostos.

The way they spoke to clients and the amount of noise they made while I was resting/ sleeping was way too much. I was only person in there so there was no reason to rattle plastic and fill things in that space. Spa service, no tv and wifi in my room when pouring outside and they said they would let me know when coming back. I waited 2 hours rang again and they said they are working on it. I missed dinner and went to bed. Tv alarm went off at 1:30 am. Not a peaceful stay

• Robert (9/5): Amazing hotel in the heart of historic Matera - A truly special hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Matera, right in the historic area. The location is excellent for exploring the city, and the concept of the hotel is unique — the rooms are spacious, very clean, and beautifully combine modern elements with the authentic architecture of the place. The overall atmosphere is refined, and the interior design adds a lot to the distinctive experience. You can tell it is a well-thought-out property, carefully maintained. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a memorable place, with a few adjustments that could make the experience perfect. There are a few aspects that could be improved to reach a truly exceptional level: the spa area is quite small compared to the size of the hotel, and the staff there could be more professional and attentive to detail. Additionally, the breakfast is somewhat limited in variety and could benefit from more options. The lack of dedicated parking can also be inconvenient, especially for guests arriving by car. We had to carry, climbing a lot of stairs, heavy several lunggages a long way to the parking outside the area. I think this luxury hotel should provide a solution for their guests.

Based on the fact, that this 5star hotel is "SPA", it is ridiculous. I was more upset when I learned that guest that are not accomodated in the hotel can come from outside and pay 40E for the SPA in this hotel!!! beds are not comfy, breakfast buffet limited in options. This is certainly not how a 5 star hotel should be managed

• Veronica (9/5): - Struttura in ottima posizione, dalla quale è possibile visitare tutto il sito dei sassi. Personale molto accogliente. Ci hanno offerto una stanza in udgrade per l'attesa. Bella e ben organizzata la spa e super il ristorante.
• Hiroko (10/5): 泊まって良かった - マテーラ自体が良いのと、他の宿泊施設に泊まっていないので、相対的にどの程度良いかはわからない。しかし階段の登り降りで疲れた体にスパ＋夕食込みのプランはありがたく、夕食はかなり美味しい。他のイタリア都市にくらべてお得感がある。

• Hernando (10/5): Maravillosa, un privilegio disfrutar Matera alojado en este hotel. Enhorabuena. - Buen gusto. Sitio muy original. Cuarto escavado en la roca pero con todas las comodidades. Te sientes un privilegiado en semejante lugar. No hay un pero. Por decir algo, si no te gusta las camas duras, aquí lo son.

• rhebner (10/5): Matera Immersion - This hotel is an ideal Matera experience. It is a collection of neighboring Matera caves, each converted into a modern guest room. Offsite parking was required by law and worked well after coordination with the hotel and a bit of faith. The only drawback is that the restaurant and spa are small for their popularity so access may be challenging
