Guest Reviews
- Ramesh (2/5): - The room has a horrible smell like damped laundry. Restrooms were rusty and dirty.
- Sujeet (8/5): - Its nice. Convenient. Reasonable. Quiet
- Phuong (10/5): - Clean
- danielfW5238MJ (2/5): NOT family friendly!! BIZARRE staff intruded on room and yelled at me. Terrifying experience. - I'm in town visiting my daughter & needed a quick place to land. My daughter stopped by to drop something off and a random staff guy came banging on my door screaming "no guests!" I was so scared, like who is this guy? Then management came to my door and he said "I've been watching you on the cameras. Guests are not allowed!" and told me to leave. I said, "You've been watching me??" and he had this weird look staring at me. I had the door barely cracked because he was so intimidating. Their "no guests" policy I assumed meant overnight, not my daughter stopping by for a minute. Management literally told me to leave, which was fine because these guys scared me to death. And the hotel is deeply run down and smells awful anyway. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THIS HOTEL. Felt so unsafe.
And by the way, even if a hotel guest does have friends/family for whatever reason, management should mind their own business. It's deeply creepy to spy on your guests.
- Joshua (8/5): - Not far from most of the main tourist attractions of Hollywood with some good places to eat nearby, the room wasn’t bad and the staff were helpful
- Flavia (10/5): - Great and helpful staff, very close to Hollywood walk of fame and to many food options
- Phuong (10/5): - Clean
- Priscila (10/5): - Loved the stay. Definitely great location, everything near to walk. A great breakfast sandwich place around the corner.
- Emma (8/5): - Lovely swimming pool. Room was ok but needed maintenance. Area around the accommodation was dodgy as, lots of homeless druggies. They left us alone however so weren’t a problem.
- Fausto (8/5): Stay in Hollywood - It has a nice swimming pool the beds are comfortable only a few blocks from Hollywood Blvd the only problem was the air conditioner wasn't cooling that well other than that great place
- Amirjon (4/5): - Dirty staff and service are terrible
- Alan (10/5): - Nice place
- Terry (10/5): - Na
- Terry (8/5): - The TV did not work for my entire stay. The room next to me smoked marajuana all night long both night I stayed and it got into my room very unpleasant
- Fred (8/5): - It was close to Hollywood
- Luis (4/5): - Dirty, bathroom door in bad conditions.
- Andre (6/5): - Location Very Wise, Good Private Parking Spot, but the alongway the hall was so smelly and the room is dirty, even the bathroom curtain was broken and water sometimes also smelly
- Nicolette (8/5): - About a 10 minute walk to Hollywood Boulevard which was nice. And wasn’t overly noisy either. Staff were super nice and friendly. But the only thing I had a problem with was the black mold growing in the corners of the bathroom and the stopper that came with it was almost black. There was tons of dusy
- Ricky (4/5): - Front desk person was cleaning their feet and another staff just glared most of the time watching constantly. The lamps were rusty and weren’t connected and the rooms smelt of weird chemicals.
- Wanasha (10/5): - So many shops for food , beauty , & entertainment all within walking distance
- Cynthia (8/5): - Very dark dingy and room condition looks old
especially for 200 $ a night didn’t seem worth it
- Gwen (8/5): - Convenient location re meeting with clients.
- Amandeep (8/5): - Stayed at this property for 4 days and enjoyed our visit. It’s a good location, everything is pretty walkable. Train/bus station is a quick 8 mins walk. Ferry dock is 20 min walk, don’t recommend walking if you have a lot of luggage.
Beds were not comfortable, walls are thin - you can hear everything, & showers are super small. Front desk was very nice and super helpful if we had any questions.
- Valentin (4/5): - The area at nught seemed unsafe. A lot of people hangong outside their rooms. Parking was also a hassle sone people parked in two spots. The location is a run down.
The cleaning staff was nice friendly ans on top of things
- Leo (6/5): - No cabinets & clothes hangers. No safety deposit box. And staff was not very accommodating. Didn't want to give us an AARP discount when i asked before i handed the credit card for him to charge. Also we arrived after 10 pm because the person i talked to on the phone 2 days prior said we could check in as late as 4 am. But the person at the counter when we checked in said he had been calling me to confirm if i was still coming. That was confusing indeed. But overall I must say we had a good experience at your hotel. Thank you.
- Miriam (10/5): - Had a great stay with my daughter and friend. Location is perfect and staff is very nice… I hope to go again soon :)
- Prakash (2/5): Cheap Motel not a hotel ! - It’s not a hotel. It’s a motel.
No amenities not even hot water.
The room was dirty and the the bathroom doors were broken. Dirty bath tub.
Not enough parking space. Staff was unfriendly.
- William (8/5): - Overall the hotel is consistent in providing a good hotel experience
- Zach (2/5): - Dirty
- Cortez (10/5): Dusk☀️ - Great Stay!
- Gwen (8/5): - Convenient location to meet with clients.
- Werner (10/5): - geat service
- WILLIAM (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel, friendly, easy going.
- Cedric (2/5): - The property had a horrid smell in the rooms and the rooms were very unclean. When reported that the carpets were wet and that was creating the horrid smell we were told they had no rooms and could not help us. No one tried to fix the issue or even try dry and clean it up it was ignored. I found this absolutely unacceptable. We had booked to take my mom to see the sights in LA after a long flight from SA, to be treated this badly.
- Keyan (2/5): - Never stay again
- Solomon (10/5): - I enjoyed my seven night stay, the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very handy for metro, bus and train to the airport. The staff were friendly, and the service was fantastic, I would book this hotel again without hesitation.
- Solomon (10/5): - Excellent location, superb services, helpful staff, what else do you need? Will definitely come again to this place.
- Daniel (10/5): - Really love the location of this hotel.
- Anisa (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay, the room was nice and clean, we had a great night sleep & the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again soon. Thank you.
- Anthony (4/5): - Hotel, look at it here on the website. It’s old rundown, worn down, uncomfortable terrible condition.
- Jose (10/5): - Friendly, professional, and efficient staff. Comfortable and clean rooms.
- Karla (10/5): - The stay was good just needs to be updated
- Duane (10/5): - Hotel staff friendly with clean rooms
- Nicole (10/5): - The employees are very friendly the rooms were clean
- Lorita (2/5): - There was blood on my sheets. there is bugs there. The shower was broke.Iserve
- Richard (6/5): - It is what it is. A relatively inexpensive hotel within walking distance of Hollywood Boulevard and the sights of Hollywood. There’s also a bus stop a few steps away where you can catch the Number 2 Bus to the Sunset Strip, restaurants and bars.
- Jose (6/5): - Its a good place for location and price
- Timothy (10/5): - Nice
- Anthony (6/5): - Look at the price it is what is , an old travelodge which has been renamed a few times. The staff are good and they try their best with what they have. If you can look past the aging premises and rubbish in the street then you a get a good location close walk to the main sites. Best part is In and Out burgers next door as well as Starbucks and an ok Brazilian restaurant a block away . Not an area to hang around late at night. The rooms are clean enough and remember the price. Good value
- Manuel (2/5): - Beds are so old, furnitures old and broken
And bedrooms small so bad
- RANDALL (4/5): - This place is what it is , hard bed and pillows , air in room. Musty. Heater worked . Looked to me the filter in the ac unit was dirty and need cleaning .. bath room was fine , t.v worked
- Ja'Ne (8/5): - Everything was fine and staff was great
- Jose (10/5): - Great spot!
- William (10/5): - The hotel is in an excellent location to see all the top sites in Hollywood
- Scott (10/5): - always fun
- Scott (10/5): - fun
- emma (4/5): - disappointing
- Shelbi (10/5): - Great stay and local to the area and local attractions. Did not get a chance to test out the pool but it looked clean and accessible. The beds were comfy and the AC works wonders. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend for couples and families.
- Manuel (10/5): - Great staff and everything else
- Vince (8/5): Expectations met but not exceeded - Overall it was a bad experience, only thing was the AC unit didn’t work and the staff spent about an hour installing another one only for that one not to work either. It was an inconvenience to us all in the room while we were trying to get ready for our night.
- ARNULFO (10/5): - Room was clean
- Jason (4/5): - Ac didn’t work
- Kevin (4/5): - Okay so if you need a place to stay and you're just going out to a concert or something and just need somewhere to sleep this place is fine for that. But it's dirty in the bathroom is dirty and all kinds of other stuff so let's just say it's important condition but it's really cheap to stay there. We were only there long enough to sleep last night wake up and leave
- Vlada (8/5): - just a normal hotel,but just too old
- Cassandra (4/5): - The property is close to Hollywood Blvd. So it's walking distance to a lot things. Other than that I did not like it. The room was dirty. I had to wear shoes in the shower bc it didn't look clean. The parking spots are too small . My compact car barely fit. The bed was uncomfortable. The bed sheets, towels and toilet were clean but that's about it. The housekeeper was nice too. However, I wouldn't stay again. I would only suggest if you're on a budget.
- Jonathan (2/5): - .
- William (8/5): - Great location near many popular attractions and hotspots
- Brian (4/5): - The twin bed matresses are flimy and creak when you try to sleep. The shower kept leaking throughout the night. Reasonably priced just to spend the night.
- Solomon (10/5): - Awesome spot ! Never gives me trouble and always comes to clean the room . Plus it’s affordable in LA ! And that’s saying something.
- Deborah (6/5): Basic and not clrean - Lots of water damage. Some mold. Carpet was sticky in areas.
- Ruby (10/5): - Clean room, friendly satff. W
- Alaysia (10/5): - Really cool really quiet good TV only problem I would say was the water didn’t get hot but other than that everything was fine.
- Rafal (2/5): - Smells terrible
- Yixuan (10/5): - It’s alright, it’s LA so I didn’t expect much
- Cara (2/5): - This place looked nothing like the photos. So disgusting I didn’t stay the night. Not to mention it’s a very shady area. It smelled in the room. Furniture was falling apart. Instead of glass in the bathroom window it was a piece of plastic they leaned against the window
- donald (10/5): - It is great place for a one night stop in the of Hollywood walking distance of Dolby Theater
- P8288PXadriana (2/5): Don't go - Dont go, find another place far away
On the first night, at 3 AM, there was a shooting in the parking lot The car beside my car got 2 shots, and no breakfast for $200 per night get a better place no this one
- Inspire57504424278 (2/5): Old and not clean - Dirty with urine smell outside in the corridor. Cleaning wasn’t great. Hotel old who needs refreshment. The good thing was the free parking and not too far from walk of fame and Hollywood boulevard
- randik954 (8/5): Worth the stay - It might not be a fancy place, but it is definitely worth the money, especially being so close to all of the shopping and restaurants on Hollywood Blvd.
The hotel is in the middle of upgrading rooms, so a few minor issues were expected. Those issues were very well received and addressed immediately. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
I will be staying again on my next trip.
- Suzy905 (10/5): Great hotel especially for the price - Great hotel. They are working on updating it but it is still a great value. Staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Had a couple of minor issues and they were addressed immediately. Great location. Lots of restaurants and other services within walking distance. We have stayed there previously and will definitely be back again next year. We are a group that have been holding a charity event for the past 20 years. We have stayed at a lot of budget hotels, and this is definitely one of the best. They have redone the pool since we stayed there last year and have made many other updates and are still working on it. It is great as it is now. They were in the process of replacing the mattresses in all of the rooms while we were there. Very clean.
- Juliea84 (2/5): Very disappointing - On arrival, the rather unfriendly man on reception demanded extra money for paying by card. Nowhere on the booking site was this stated. After refusing to pay by cash, or extra by card, he agreed that we didn’t need to pay more. An unpleasant start to our stay.
The swimming pool was just at the end of the car park, very exposed to anyone who walks off the street and into the car park. The water was green, so a non starter.
The room was a decent size for 2 people and the fridge was a welcome addition. The bed was comfortable. The wallpaper behind the bed gave the impression that they had decided to decorate, but the rest of the room was unfinished. The carpet did not look clean, so we didn’t walk barefoot. The bathroom was not at all inviting, feeling dirty and in need of repair.
The hotel is just across the street from Starbucks and a supermarket which is convenient. The area is not one to feel comfortable in, particularly at night.
I would definitely not stay here again.
- tinytash (4/5): Not worth the money - We stayed here for 4 nights. On arrival the man at the reception tried to increase the fee because we wanted to pay on card, we argued this and did not have to pay more. As a way to apologise for this we were able to park for free.
The room was big but dirty, the walls were filthy, the bathroom has a ripped shower curtain and the tiles were broken. When using the shower water leaked all over the floor causing a hazard. The door to the room was damaged.
There was a fridge and a hair dryer.
The pool which we could see from the window looked green, we didn’t risk going in it as we didn’t want to get poorly.
The location was about a 5 min walk from Hollywood Boulevard.
I wouldn’t pay these prices to stay here again… unless some serious work was done to bring it up to a good standard.
- joeannem2021 (2/5): Simply Horrid - They are under construction but the office is in a room that looks well? They front desk clerk is very rude. They only take cash but there are no signs posted to reflect that; which makes you wonder, no fridge, coffee or microwave in the room bed TV and dresser. It's not worth $199 per night it's not even worth 50 per night. They should be ashamed of themselves. However, tourists, hookers or just someone who has no knowledge would stay here thinking it was good until you get in the actual room? I suggest to look at the room first before you pay your hard earned money on this dump.
- boilermonster (8/5): A hidden gem on Sunset - It may not look so great on the outside but the rooms are pleasantly nice and upgraded. This place has a lot of potential and I hope the owners continue with the upgrades to the rooms. My room could have used a coffee maker and an iron. It’s right where you need to be, just dump your car there and Uber everywhere. The outside doors desperately need a paint job.
