However, the AC was unusable and the room was 80 degrees. Convenient location though on a dirt road. Added bonus was a continental breakfast included.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from the floor to ceiling windows was so beautiful. You could almost see the entire 40 miles of Moose Head Lake. the continental breakfast was a little light, but all food was fresh. I would recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a fantastic view and friendly staff.

- Frank (10/5): - I loved the Kineo View Lodge. It is located high on a hill, far away from the road, so there is no traffic noise. It was dark enough up there so I could step out onto my private little balcony to do some stargazing. The owners are very friendly too.

- John (8/5): Average room, splendid view - The best part of the lodge was the view, which was wonderful. Otherwise, the room was average to good. I rated it down on cleanliness because they didn't clean up during our two-night stay, which according to a sign in the room, was because of staffing difficulties. I understand that, but it's certainly not ideal. The staff was very good -- friendly, helpful, and efficient.

- warren (10/5): Golden road trip - I was pleasantly surprised ,the room was big spacious and clean ..it looks to be recently redone the carpet was brand new ..the view from the deck is spectacular !! We highly recommend this hotel it's no frills but very well maintained breakfast was good also ..only issue we had was the guys next door talking loudly at 5 am.. not the motels fault at all

Downtown Greenville is a 5 to 10 minute drive. A wonderful place to go for peace and quiet and beautiful sunrise views of the western mountains of Maine. The staff are super friendly and nice. I will stay again.

It looked like all units had a balcony that faced the woods and you may have a nice clear view of the mountain -- it was cloudy when I was there. Overall, a nice stay, friendly hosts, and close to wilderness. I'd stay there again.
