Guest Reviews
- Hettiarachchige (6/5): Do not trust about if they issue food voucher for booking in it will not working there cafe is closed on Wednesday they - Well maintained pool Monkeys will every where and there will no body near property to communicate with any issues.
No restaurant nearby
- HUNARII (9/5): Trop bien! Lieu génial … Personnel super. - Le personnel : Novia et otnial au TOP! Des Centipèdes dans les toilettes.
- Diana (10/5): Suoer suur, suure basseiniga privaatne villa🙏👍 - Ilus loodus! Rahulikud ahvid kes jagasid meiega villat😅 Natuke linnast eemal
- Walter (8/5): Pool great hosts friendly - Breakfast and hosts Location a bit out of the way you’re needed a driver
- SANDRA (8/5): -
- Jason (10/5): - Great villa and pool
- Ekaterina (9/5): Прекрасная вилла, персонал отличный. Очень удобная локация. - Было тихо, приятная атмосфера. Как и везде тараканы и мокрицы
- Desiani (10/5): We had an awesome time and would totally come back - Such a great stay at this 2-bedroom villa in Ungasan! The villa was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was really good — loved having it served right in the villa. The staff were super friendly and always helpful. Overall, we had an awesome time and would totally come back!
- Helena (10/5): -
- Krzysztof (8/5): Było fajnie - Duża przestronna Villa, spokojna okolica blisko pięknej plaży Melasti z wieloma klubami. Częste wizyty małpek które umilały poranek.
- Danny (10/5): Fantastic Villa and staff, would love to go back - Staff were very helpful from the moment we made the booking. When we arrived they introduced themselves and welcomed us.
It’s located is in a secluded quiet area of villas, perfect to relax and only under 10 minutes to the nearest beaches, beach clubs and marts. While you can’t rent a scooter direct from the property, the manager was very helpful and organised one from a 3rd party for us. Even without a scooter is still very easy to get around by booking a grab, usually only 3-4 min wait.
The villa was fantastic. Great layout, nice living area and bedrooms, upstairs outdoor area, comfy beds with powerful aircon and beautiful pool with a view onto the garden below. The living area aircon wasn’t quite as strong as the bedrooms in the peak of the day but found that closing the curtains on the sun side and opening up the large sliding doors to the pool was more than enough to cool down.
We were lucky enough to be visited by some cheeky monkeys in the mornings which was a real treat. We were advised to not feed or leave anything outside for them to steal but that it was safe to be outside with them. They were happy to hang around as we were in the pool before heading down to the garden behind where they often can be seen playing.
The staff came to cook us breakfast each morning with the choice of a few different things which was great, one morning eating up at the rooftop which was the perfect start to the day.
We only stayed 3 nights at the end of our trip but wish we had spent longer. Definitely a highlight of our trip and couldn’t recommend more.
- Sunita (7/5): Cute little villa in uluwatu near beaches - staff very friendly and helpful. Wayan and nofee were great. Breakfast was made fresh daily in the villa. Nice sized pool furniture needs to be updated- nicer pool chairs and more cushions in the outdoor areas would lift the place.
Rien
- Thanh Hai (9/5): Tốt - Sạch sẽ yên tĩnh, nhân viên phục vụ nhiệt tình Đồ hơi cũ
- Ikene (1/5): Outdated villa, completely isolated avoid at all cost. - Rien Absolutely do not book this place. The welcome was cold and unprofessional. The room was shocking: dim lights, no bedside lamp, broken bulb, cracked window, dust everywhere, and a horrible smell in the bathroom. To make it worse, cockroach product was left on the table completely unacceptable. The agent asked us to keep the doors shut at all times or monkeys will come inside.
The facilities are neglected: dirty, unmaintained pool, sunbeds without mattresses, a bare wooden terrace, broken outdoor lighting, and furniture that hasn’t been changed in decades.
The villa itself is outdated, not modern at all, and totally isolated. The location is terrible: far from shops and beaches, inaccessible for disabled guests or taxis and Grabs only reachable via a steep 25% slope, making it extremely impractical with luggage.
In short: dirty, unsafe, outdated, and badly located. One of the worst experiences ever — avoid at all costs.
- Rajveer (3/5): Horrible - The property was nice and spacious with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The ladies who came to cook and clean were okay but they could not communicate to us so we had alot of issues explaining things to them. Service was pathetic. The staff tried their best to help however it was very difficult to communicate with them and they didn’t know how to make basic continental breakfast. We arrive for check-in & they said they need another 2 hours to clean the property so we can go out and then come back which is horrible especially given the fact that we were tired and wanted to rest up in a clean place. Then they barely cleaned it that day however they did good cleaning for rest of the stay. On the second day electricity, water & water all went out. I tried asking the staff for when the services will resume and instead of responding and providing any assurance the manager was rude and non-responsive. He did not answer my calls and only sent me a forward message which showed that the services will resume when they resolve the issue. He did offer us a 300,000 voucher for lunch for which we had to pay additional for the Gojek. The staff could not make basic toast with mushrooms & spinach so my sister har to make us breakfast one day. The staff didn’t know the difference between butter & cheese. On the last day we were outside when the manager sent us a message saying we only have 120,000 left for our breakfast for the last day before we checkout. We were 3 people and they didn’t prepare full breakfast for 3 people and then they had the audacity to say this on the last day. We refused to have breakfast when the manager corrected himself saying it’s okay he will provide breakfast. On the day of checkout we were to check out at 12pm and he sent his staff at 11:30am and they started cleaning the place whilst we were still there waiting for our driver. We checked out at 12. I would never return to this property as they have no understanding of hospitality and treat their guest horribly. They charge for services which they don’t cater for. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
- Scott (9/5): -
- Olga M (8/5): -
- Max (8/5): -
- John (8/5): - Great property quite away from the hustle and bustle
- Hannelie (8/5): Very good - The manager were very accommodating to help us with all our questions. The villa was feeling like home The entrance road towards the villa
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional - Very kind host, clean area.
- Arthur (8/5): Very good -
- Tereza (10/5): Quiet, private stay - Its located in quiet area, close to the Melasti beach. Its have own pool and nice bathroom with greenery. We really enjoyed our stay there.
The staff there is really kind, especially Yogi were amazing and helped us a lot with everything.
- Noel (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb - House and the people service Nothing
- Rick (6/5): - Very nice staff and very helpful
- Zodwa (8/5): Overall, the property itself is good, but as a tourist one would prefer access to nearly restaurants & to walk freel - Cleanliness: Super
Manager Yoga: kept constant communication about our needs
Staff: friendly & willing to adapt to the changes of breakfast menu & time
Bathroom: had both shower & bath tub which were very spacious Breakfast: very limited options & I don’t think it was value for money
Location: it’s in a very isolated area. It was impossible to walk to the nearby restaurants or even walk around the area for relaxation
There’s disturbance of monkeys in the pool area
The lounge couches were not comfortable @ all .
- Ghaith (8/5): Our stay at Villa by Nagisa was truly enjoyable - Our stay at Villa by Nagisa was truly enjoyable, largely thanks to the excellent hospitality of the lady who works there. She was cheerful, polite, and kind, always making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Her breakfast preparation each morning was wonderful and added a warm touch to our experience.
The place itself is excellent and perfect for relaxation. Contrary to what I read in some reviews, I didn’t see any monkeys during my stay, which made the atmosphere even more peaceful and enjoyable. I like everything, honestly.
- Lucis (10/5): Absolutely exclusive with exceptional staff - The amenities were fantastic and clean. There was a water tank which was a genius idea by the property. The staff were extraordinarily reliable. The property was private and shops were close by. Nothing to do with the property, but the country’s Grab app could pick drop off location inside the villa, but when being picked up the app could only pick in front of the villa entrance, which was up a steep hill - maybe to steep to walk up for some
- Mohammad (5/5): Passable -
- Angie (8/5): Great stay. - We booked this place last minute. When we got there, it was around 9:30pm, someone else (who happened to be sitting on the street) contacted the host for us (assume the booking didn’t alert them?)and he came straight away. Wish we could stay longer because it’s actually really nice. Big bath tub and a private pool.
- Reddy (8/5): Very good -
- Mudassir (7/5): Over all experience was good but if they can improve on the aforementioned, then it will be excellent. - 1. Pool:
• The pool was enjoyable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind. It added a great touch to the overall experience.
2. Cleanliness:
• The hotel was consistently clean, which made for a comfortable stay. Attention to cleanliness across all areas, including rooms and common spaces, was very much appreciated.
3. Rooms and Hall:
• The rooms and hall were spacious and well-designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They provided a good level of comfort and contributed positively to the overall experience.
4. Amenities:
• The amenities were well thought out and contributed to a pleasant stay. It’s clear that guest convenience is a priority, which made the experience feel complete and enjoyable. 1. Monkeys:
• The presence of monkeys was surprising and at times disruptive. Taking steps to minimize monkey activity around guest areas would improve the overall experience and reduce any potential disturbances.
2. Door Noise (Two Single Beds):
• There was noticeable noise from the door, especially with two single beds in the room, which impacted rest. Ensuring doors close quietly or adjusting their placement in double-occupancy rooms could enhance comfort.
3. Lighting:
• The lighting in the room was quite low, making it challenging to relax or work comfortably. Adding brighter or additional light sources would greatly enhance the ambiance.
4. Air Conditioning:
• The air conditioning struggled to keep up, likely due to the property’s large size. Improving the air conditioning system or providing fans in the rooms could help meet the cooling demand, especially during warmer months.
5. Pool Shade and Sun Beds:
• The pool area lacked sufficient shade and shaded sun beds, which made it challenging to enjoy this space comfortably during sunny hours. Adding shaded areas or umbrellas over some sun beds would improve guest comfort and poolside enjoyment.
- Harley (9/5): Amazing, we felt very welcomed. Would recommend - Such nice staff team will definitely be coming back to visit them.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Keenan (10/5): 10/10 - Clean and tidy. Room service was exceptional. Yoga was a gentleman.
- Andrea (8/5): Overall was a good stay! - The property is located in a quiet area, surrounded by nature. The staff gives the plus, extremely nice and helpful.
Every morning, fresh breakfast was waiting us!
Thanks to everyone. The property needs renovation works, one of the bathrooms had a bad smell most probably coming from the sink.
The sliding door that goes to the pool didn’t open properly, then “fixed” by the staff.
The fence beside the pool was rusty and broken…
- James (10/5): Fantastic. Loved it. Highly recommend - Great size and pool. Quiet location. Slightly out of the way, but close to Melasti beach.
- Warrick (8/5): Very good -
- Tina (10/5): Wonderful stay, definitely would recommend to friends and family - Beautiful property, lovely staff, very accommodating. Inside the accommodation was a bit dark, needed a bit more lightening
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- Priya (5/5): Cheap and cheerful! Good breakfast - Friendly staff and host took great care of us and resolved all issues very quickly. AMAZING breakfast and daily cleaning. Insect and ants in room.
Monkeys in the trees by the pool
Outdoor bathrooms
Unstable wifi
- Ilyes (10/5): Exceptional - Mister yoga waited for us to come till MIDNIGHT and it was very professional and sweet from his part. We had the pool for ourselves and werent bothered. It was calm, clean and beautiful. The indonésian breakfast was delicious and the staff were so nice.
- Parija (8/5): yoga the host was really nice, the place was tidy and neat with a small pool that helped us relax. - Breakfast was curated to our vegetarian tastes and Yoga and his team were the open bathroom was a bother
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerindy (10/5): Exceptional - The space, beautiful, peaceful
- Melanie (10/5): Place of relaxation - The villa itself was amazing, spacious, infinity pool, monkeys for entertainment each afternoon, quiet location, fully equipped kitchen and breakfast cooked for you each morning by the lovely ladies. We absolutely loved it the staff were all brilliant and transport or food delivery was easy to get with go jek. Our only issue was a few ants around if food was left out but soon remedied by bug spray supplied by the staff.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - The stay was overall very nice and the villa met our expectations. The only thing was that we found a mouse/rat in the kitchen and that it was a lot of cockroaches in bathroom with the bathtub.
Very friendly staff!
- Kelly (9/5): Superb -
- Mintimer (10/5): Would definitely stay again once in Bali - We stayed in 5 different villas and this one stands out. Perfectly clean villa, amazing staff, great location. Quick response to our requests. Special thanks to the host. We were offered bikes.
Awesome place for a very affordable price. Limited breakfast choice but the options were great
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional - Kadek Yoga was phenomenal, I lost my credit card on my first day, and he went out of his way to help me check a few places that I had been, and even found the card for me at a local grocery.
Very kind and helpful staff. 100% would recommend this villa
- Lili (5/5): if its not going to be renovated I would not recommend to stay here. - The staff was amazing, the breakfast what they made us was brilliant. The location of the house was also quite good, easily reached many beaches from there by cab. Unfortunately the house haven t been used for a while before us, so you could felt the old smelling of it. Also there was a construction work in the neighbours, which noise was really annoying. In a row for four day we just listened the drilling.. Also the house really need a bit of renovation because some animal moved in to the attic. On the other hand it haven t been mentioned that the monkeys are coming into the house area, for us it wasn t annoying but maybe for other guest it can be. So the property should mention this somewhere at the description.
The towels which was provided were old, also one of the watetap didn t work properly in on of the bathrooms.
So overall it didnt worth it for the amount of price.
- Gergo (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (8/5): Overall our stay was fantastic, we were looked after by Yoga, he took care of all our needs, was responsive and incredib - The size of the villa is great for families with young children, on the days we didn’t feel like going anywhere we had all the facilities we needed to spend the day at home. The size of the pool is great as well! The location is a little out of the way, but great to be in a quieter, less busy part of Bali.
- Traptow (10/5): Exceptional - Yoga, our host was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. Villa was clean and comfortable and the pool was great. It was a little out of the way, so nice and quiet and easy access by Grab for transportation
- Tim (7/5): Good - Nice size villa with a good size pool. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows.
Monkeys love to visit the villa and surrounding area which was fun to experience daily. Saves trip to the monkey forrest!
Staff were wonderful - very warm, friendly and helpful. Slightly dated. Photos not a fair representation on current state of villa. Location is not ideal - must have transport to go anywhere or do anything.
- Vittorio (9/5): A lovely Villa with nice features, delicious breakfast cooked for us at home every morning and attentive staff ready to - The beds were very comfortable, the outdoor area was nice with a pool, the bathrooms were spacious and had one lovely bathtub, the staff were extremely helpful and kind We wished for our group that there were queen beds in both rooms instead of twin beds in one room.
- Mariesa (10/5): Exceptional - Yoga communicated really well with us prior to arriving. He stayed late to greet us and made sure we were welcome and settled. Yoga was always available to answer any questions or requests. His staff were beautiful, cooked a very good breakfast for us each morning, and kept the villa spotless.
The pool was beautiful and upstairs balcony a real bonus.
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - Very large villa, great breakfast prepared each day in our kitchen by the staff. Everyone very friendly
- Lynn (8/5): Lovely hosts - We loved the host Yoga and the chefs, they look really after you even when we got sick (bali belly) they offered to drive us to get ivy. The villa was smaller than expected and no the pool area was not the best since they did not have any sun beds (monkey destroyed them previously). In the morning/during lunch there are a lot of monkeys around the house. Transportation is also a bit difficult since the villa is not in a crowded spot but if you have a car it’s alright.
- Alison (9/5): Great start to our Bali stay - It was quiet and private. The staff were great making sure we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them
- Girisankar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): First time visiting Bali & Uluwatu. Next visit we’ll look for more modern villa - Size, swimming pool, roof top patio General overall old age of furniture bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
- Lhocking (7/5): It was comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the pleasant staff and sitting beside the pool - Staff were lovely, kind and accommodating. Loved that it was private and it had a pool. The location want the best as we had to drive to everything as the road near by wasn’t safe to walk beside.
There was a lot of sharp edges eg: along the pool and decking, for you little one to injure themselves.
- Kimberlee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sienna (9/5): An amazing villa with the friendliest and most helpful staff - The breakfast was great, location was a little far for where we were going everyday but we made do The bedrooms could have had blockout curtains so the sun doesn't come in so early and maybe some hooks for towels in the bathrooms
- Helen (8/5): Very good - -The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were neat, spacious, equipped with all the daily necessities and basic amenities.
-Commendable service. Thank you to the head house keeper with the instant replies to our questions, his prompt help with organising a taxi during rainy weather when we were not able to book a grab and his ability to act swiftly in helping us contact the organisers on our behalf the evening before for an activity booking yet to be confirmed for the very next morning when we had difficulty reaching them.
-Keys for a lot of the doors including the bedrooms and bathrooms
-Daily breakfast + pool
-A friendly visit from the monkeys ^^
- Naresh (9/5): Superb -
- Alf (8/5): Had a great time. - Excellent staff. Really helpful and friendly and they make nice breakfast. Spacious and private. Monkeys outside. Poor state of repair.
- Claire (7/5): quiet and cosy - clean and tidy. the pool was lovely. the air conditioning worked well. bathrooms were well appointed. the terrace was cute living area was dated. day bed on the terrace would be great.
- Nina (9/5): Superb -
- Aretha (9/5): Pleasant stay overall - Quiet location, large villa with lots of room. Host was very reachabe. Some ants
- Tara (8/5): great private villa for friends who want to explore uluwatu - the staff are outstanding! they accommodate you and make you breakfast every morning. the villa is very private and there are beautiful monkeys in the trees nearby (they don’t bother you though). we were sorted out with 2 moped which were perfect the furniture is a little old but nothing too bad. the location is quite a far drive on moped from things, but if you are comfortable with bikes it is perfect because the drives are so beautiful and the traffic is not too bad
- Kahmen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sipeli (8/5): Very good - Villa was very clean and the staff was friendly. Nice private pool. The location was quit far from shops and restaurants, you'll need a taxi to move. Don't order a taxi from the man in a gate. They are cheating you.
- Ryan (8/5): Peaceful tranquility - Staff were great. Pool was refreshing. The upstairs roof deck was my wife's favorite place. Large room. Internet was crap. The bathrooms are open to the elements so bugs etc coming in. Couches are not comfy. Bed had full sheets of chipboard under them making it so when one moved to get off tge bed it would lift or move the other side therefore waking them.
- Viktorxm (10/5): Amazing place in Uluwatu - This is an amazing place! We had the whole villa which was great, the rooms are big, you have a huge living room, kitchen, private pool, rooftop terrace etc. It's a quiet remote place, it looks exactly as in photos, very clean and you have everything you need. You can expect special guests as monkeys were coming to visit us often. The location is quite remote, you don't have any shops or anything else within walking distance. You need either to rent a scooter or take a taxi every time you want to go out.
- Anonymous (8/5): it was a delightful stay that suited our needs for a short trip. we had a discounted rate for this time of year (March) - the staff are very kind. the rooftop and the pool are its best features. it is more remote then I realised. breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else and there are food shops within safe walking distance. in saying that, there are amazing resorts with amazing food with in a 10-15 min car ride.
- James (10/5): AMAZING!! - absolutely outstanding villas, staff and facilities! will only stay here when in Uluwatu!
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional - Everything’s perfect! Just like in photos. Very clean, comfy, and staff was amazing very kind and helpful. Recommend:)
- Keith116 (3/5): Poor - The on-site staff are terrific and nothing seemed too much trouble, the grounds in front of the villas are kept in a wonderful condition by the groundsman The remoteness but that’s my fault for not doing my homework, although on-site staff were contactable for transport, so the Villa we were in 19 wonderful entrance then enter the villa and that’s when it all goes wrong, there’s a smell not sure what it was, then all the drapes and curtains cushions are heavily stained, the bed linen old stained and felt damp, towels stained and off white the same with pool towels, the kitchen equipment all felt sticky some of the doors/drawers are loose, the pictures you see of villas do not reflect the condition of them now which is unfortunate, no cushions for sun loungers or the day beds upstairs, there’s gaps in all the doors and centipedes were everywhere, well worn wooden flooring and lifting due to leaking AC unit, only one mirror in the bathroom and it’s dark in there with soft lighting, I don’t think it would take much to turn this place around with some investment from the management team,
- Wendy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bernard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Reece (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victor (5/5): Total Refurbishment of Villa needed - Pool is fantastic.
Friendly and accomodating staff.
Near Melasti Beach. Property is quite run down and need a total refurbishment.
Gates and doors are difficult to open and close / lock, especially the front gate.
Lights in the garden and around the property are not maintained. Most are not working.
Master bath room reeks of an unpleasant smell. I’m sure it’s cleaned by the wonderful staff, but the smell is just unbearable, I don’t know what causes it.
Towels have stains on them, need to be replaced.
Curtains and blinds around the property are old and some blinds are broken. They should all be replaced.
Kitchen is functional but utensils are old and not that clean.
Bed sheets are not replaced every 2 days, as stated in the notice.
Property is full of millipedes (rainy season) and they crawl into the Villa. Not for the squeamish.
- Modestalt (10/5): Exceptional - Little bit remote villa, surrounded by nature. All the service was very good, they served breakfast everyday and helped with everything we asked. The rooms in the villa was very comfortable, interior modern and cozy. Recommendations for all, who want to relax in the comfortable villa with the pool, nature. Not so close to the center, need a ride to reach almost everything.
- Sheng (8/5): You may give it a try. - The room is nice and price is very reasonable. And staff are wonderful. The location is a bit far away from any nearby street with shops.
The breakfast is very simple, but without any cold drinks.
And there are a lot of insects even inside the room but it is the natural of Bali and we cannot complain on that.
