Guest Reviews
- David Chicken (8/5): An enjoyable stay - We booked 2 rooms which were both clean and comfortable.
The restaurant was large and the service and food were very good. Although the restaurant was very good there was no lounge area in which to relax and chat whilst enjoying a drink after eating.
- Mal (8/5): Friendly staff good pub/hotel - Comfortable room good shower;free parking;good food
- Elias (9/5): -
- Lynn (10/5): Excellent - Friendly staff, convenient location, excellent food, good parking. Nothing
- Garry (9/5): - As usual everything was fantastic from the room to the staff and the restaurant
- Anthony (10/5): One night stay - Excellent location, nice view from room, very comfortable, good facilities No decaf tea or coffee in room
- Nicholas (8/5): Simple, clean, well run lodging in a popular pub, with good food and friendly staff. - Picturesque riverside location, great sunny patio and good food.
- Alsyapal (10/5): - Smashing view from rooom 4. Immaculately clean. Food delicious and well presented. Highly recommend Sunday Roast lunch ! The green emergency exit light on the the ceiling was very bright but appreciate its importance.
- Gillian (5/5): - Great location. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were cheap and flat. No support at all. The bed linen was rough. There was a bright green light in the ceiling right over the which was on all night. Very difficult to sleep

- Alexandra (10/5): I would not hesitate to recommend The Arun View and hope to stay again in the future. - Lovely staff, highly efficient, I could not have been better looked after. The menu was varied, food well cooked and very generous and my room had everything I needed plus an interesting view over the river. There was nothing I did not like. The staff have the running of the place down to a fine art.
- Sarah (8/5): Enjoyed our stay here. Staff were really friendly and the food was great. - Clean rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. N/a
- John (9/5): I would visit again - Nice breckfast All the stairs

- Chloe (9/5): -
- Audrey (7/5): Great place for a quick stay - The room was large and clean. The staff was nice. The location made it easy for both access from the train station and walks in town/to the sea front. The restaurant with the view on the river was great - decor and food! The radiator turned on in the night and became too hot. The emergency lighting felt really bright and intrusive.
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Philip (10/5): - We had a wonderful time in Littlehampton thanks to great accommodation, brilliant service and good food. The view of the river from the dining table was delightful. Being able to park the car all day on site while we went walking was so convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Room was super - clean, modern decor, very comfy beds and top notch bathroom. Most highly recommended. April 2026
- S (8/5): Great value for money. Will definitely stay again if in the area. - Location was just a few mins walk from Littlehampton railway station and 10 mins lovely walk to the seafront. Wonderful restaurant menu at reasonable prices. Had the whole plaice which was delicious. The room seemed newly fitted out, bathroom/shower etc. View of the river. The noise from kitchen fans was quite loud in the room however it went off promptly at 10pm
- Stuart (8/5): - Staff were very accommodating, Bedroom comfortable/Shower excellent. Restaurant food was good. Nothing to complain about!

Food was fresh, generous potions and delicious. Staff were happy and helpful. Great location Having to go up two flights of stairs to get to our room.

Lovely views.
Very clean, lovely decor & powerful shower. Nothing
- Jill (7/5): - Compact room but had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the man who served us was exceptionally friendly. On arrival the bar staff were standoffish, no smiles or acknowledgement. The bathroom was freezing as the heated towel rail didn't work. WiFi was poor.
- Karen (10/5): Very pleasant - Perfect location.
Fantastic cooked breakfast!
- Andrew (10/5): - This is an old traditional pub on the bank of the river Arun. Nice bar and restaurant. And plenty of car parking. A short walk from the town centre and close to the railway station. The food was excellent, but the best thing was the staff, all very welcoming and friendly. Certainly a place we would like to return there.
- P (8/5): -
- Michael (4/5): The roadside rooms are very noisy. The Riverside rooms would’ve been better although there was a constant hum from the e - Clean Noise
- Peter (6/5): - it was a room for the night so the room was ok for the night.breakfast was really nice genrall room size and lack of comfort in the room
- Sandie (9/5): Lovely stay, just spoiled by noise outside, but they couldn't help that - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The food: evening meal and breakfast, were exceptional and the view from the dining area was lovely.
The shower was wonderful The only downside was that our room faced the railway station and trains were coming and going for what seemed like all night - they stopped between about 01.00 and 04.00 I think. The road outside was also very noisy - take earplugs!
- EDI (8/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - Best hotel breakfast we had during our two week trip through Sussex - freshly cut fruit salad! Narrow wonky stairs.
- Jane (10/5): I would return to the Arun Inn for a room at the back, the breakfast and the town - Our room was at the back over looking the river. Away from the busy road. Also a whole floor separated us from the pub, so it was lovely and peaceful. The view was lovely. Littlehampton was lovely. The breakfast delicious. I like a softer pillow
- Robert (8/5): Everything was great except the green light in the bedroom. - Location was excellent for the river, beach, town centre and the yacht club where we were attending a party. The glowing green light in the bedroom which stayed on all night. VERY annoying.

- Ian (7/5): We would look for another property next time due to the train noise. - The property was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size. - Luca (9/5): Really nice staff and a great location - It was a nice warm clean and felt nice.
Staff were really nice Sausages could have been a bit better

The location was central. 5 minutes to the train station and 10 minutes into town. We had a meal at the restaurant aswell. I definitely recommend. Connor was fantastic and so nice! We definitely would stay again!
- Nicole (8/5): Overall good! - Decorated lovely, rooms were bright & roomy. Mostly clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was delicious! Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Mainly the shower head & holder.
The mugs that were provided for tea & coffee were dirty.

The staff are friendly and very welcoming.
- dave (8/5): Good but tricky to sleep - The breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly. Nice location with view of the river. Plenty of car park spaces. 5 mins from town and the train station Beds were just ok, the emergency exit lights on the room provided a green light all night. This proves difficult to sleep with
- Jane Marie (7/5): Very convenient for an overnight stay - Nice view quite close to railway station and Town Very steep stairs to climb
- Allan (9/5): would definately add this on my list to return for a longer stay - Had a dinner on arrival and the Trout Supreme was really good.

- Nigel (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable in a great location by the river. Staff very helpful. For some strange reason we could not turn off the vanity light in the bathroom which meant it was on all night. Could cut it by shutting the door but seemed odd, no sign of a switch anywhere.
- Adrian (9/5): Always a pleasure to return to the Arun View - The setting and ambience. A new coat of paint throughout, new double glazing, well chosen color schemes. Electronic blinds. Room seemed to be recently refurbished, which was nice.
Good room tea and coffee assortment.
Good value pricing. Mattress too firm.
- rachael (8/5): Great stay , great location - The staff we lovely, freindly and helpful. It was walking distance to the town, beach and the train station was even closer 5 - 10 minutes walk. We had breakfast and the service was good, breakfast tasty and great value for money. The only negative point was I had was with the window in the room when open it you cannot make stop opening all the way....so I had to be careful with a playful toddler around and had to keep it closed. Apart from this everything was brilliant.
