• Alison (9/5): Perfect pad !. - Perfect location to explore the area!.... Unique rooms, designed perfectly 👌 Free bottles of water in the fridge in the hall along with coffee maker is a great touch. We will definitely use this Perfect little find in the future. Nothing negative to report really...the Mattress was very very soft which might not suit everyone. We stayed in room 2.

Didn’t know what to expect but it was so lovely, modern, very comfortable bed, lovely brand new and fancy en-suite with underfloor heating, easy access. And the parking was a big factor in our selection. Really fab. It would be tougher for a longer stay as there was no fridge in-room or ability to store real fresh milk for nice coffee. The free coffee machine in the hall was a lovely touch but if there was a fresh milk in that fridge we would have been thrilled.

• Gaz (10/5): Classy hotel in a great location - very classily decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and I'm fussy about my pillows! We were on the ground floor with full windows so it was lovely and bright yet private and quiet at night. One of the best small hotel/BnB's I've stayed in. Will definitely stay again when we're down there. The location was just off the High Street so all very walkable. And there was a free parking area on the forecourt just outside our window. Perfect. Nothing

• Nicola (10/5): Great location, beautiful room. - The location of Rooms at Number One is perfect, you can almost see the sea! The fact that there’s parking is a huge factor for me. The room was beautiful. The bed really comfortable. Lovely coffee machine in the hallway to enjoy. Realised when looking at the pictures that there’s huge amounts of natural light and the curtains might not block out the morning light so I took an eye mask - job done. Perfect. We didn’t take up the breakfast box offer as there’s loads of eateries nearby but if you did there’s plenty of seating to eat at. Would not hesitate to book here again. Shower was a bit tricky to get the temp right. Ended up a bit hot. There might well have been instructions in the book but we were just very quick in there which saves water anyway 😜
• sharon (8/5): - nice room clean modern. Nice having the coffee machine and bottled water when we arrived back after our evening out. The room was very hot, heating was on full blast. So we were uncomfortable most of the night as there was no window to open.

Kettle was in the room plus coffee machine in the hallway. Host has sent us instructions how to get in even before the check in time. We liked the location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Small fridge in the room would have been great

• Susan (10/5): Amazing boutique hotel I shall definitely stay here again. - The hosts were extremely accommodating I arrived early to attend a family baptism. They made me so welcome I will definitely stay here again and have suggested my family recommend to visiting friends. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom luxurious with stunning lighting and underfloor heating. Great location close to the sea and fab coffee shop opposite. The big bonus having a car parking space as I struggle with parking Apps. Nothing it was excellent.

• NeilRJ (6/5): Disappointed - Location and parking Noise from the front door slamming shut just inches from our room door. Lack of information regarding heating, the radiators do not work. Instead you have to use what looks like an air-con unit to heat the room. Also, as there is no working radiator in the bathroom, towels stay damp. The TV remote control did not work properly so streaming any TV or even getting a channel guide was impossible. I mentioned this to the host but they were unable to fix or replace it. I would not choose to stay here again.

• Anne (5/5): A quirky room in a good location but the extra costs do not make it great value for money. - The room was very pleasant although a little small. The location was very good - near to the high street and its restaurants but at the same time it was quiet. We didn’t know parking was an extra cost. We knew it was to be a continental breakfast but didn’t know it was also an extra cost. There was no where to eat it comfortably in the room and although there was a mention of a conservatory there was no indication where it was. The lighting in the bathroom was not very bright making it difficult to see to put on makeup.

• Ingham (8/5): Nice little room - Location amazing and free bottled water and hot drink facilities were a great addition. Very clean and tidy room. Shower was great and the bed was very comfy. We knew there was no opening/viewing window in the room which we were fine with but the room did smell quite damp, which I suppose is expected but not very nice. Built in fans didn't really do much. I would assume this is reflected in the price and it was a lot cheaper than the other rooms. I would say this is the only negative point for this room, everything else was very nice.

It was good to have on site parking, but rather small bays but that’s the nature of the site, nothing the owners could do about it. Luckily I had a small car, but didn’t like having pay for it.

• Baugh (10/5): Perfect getaway - We loved the decor and the closeness to the beach. I have been a couple of times to broadstairs and my partner many times as he has family ties that way and it was one of the best places we have stayed! There isn't anything we didn't like....
• Jane (9/5): Very pleasant stay - would come back - I liked this place. It is a perfect guest house for a short trip to Broadstairs. It was comfortable and felt safe. It was clean and well designed. You don't actually come into contact with the staff - you just contact them on a mobile number. They were friendly and helpful and always answered. The shower is great and powerful. The room design is good - modern and characterful. Ready supply of tea and coffee is really good. Breakfast delivery service. Fair price The room was cold on arrival on a rainy grey day and it took me a while to figure out the heating situation so that didn't make it feel very welcoming. This is however easily remedied by the host with some feedback and it didn't take the shine off of our stay.

The bathroom very modern and the shower was very good. Free Parking as advertised. Bottled water. Clean room. Banging doors. Carpet needed a deep clean. No shelf in bathroom. Too many cushions and nowhere to put them. The room was too full of furniture for its size. We received a text to leave £10 for parking when website said free parking; confusing.
• veronica (10/5): Lovely room. Well decorated and very clean. Really comfortable bed. Staff can be contacted if needed - Lovely room. Comfortable and spotless. We didn’t need to check in early so not a problem but 4 pm check in is a bit late in most circumstances.
