• Eleanor (10/5): - The property is in an excellent location, 1 minute walk to the Arno and 15 minutes into the main area of Florence. There are restaurants, cafes and shops in the neighborhood but it is quiet at night so perfect for sleeping after a busy day. I recommend cafe Samambaia which is just around the corner for coffee and breakfast. Luigi was also very kind and welcoming with plenty of recommendations for local food spots. I hope to be back again next year!

Lots of books on Italian art and history of Florence in the reception area for you to enjoy. No breakfast, but there's a nice cafe for breakfast in the opposite side street called Lori le Café that opens at 7.30 am. Highly recommended.

• Sofia (9/5): Posizione strategica e comfort - Posizione strategica, a 15 minuti a piedi da Santa Maria Novella, e a due passi dal Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino e dalla Stazione Leopolda. Si trova in una via silenziosa e tranquilla, quindi abbiamo riposato benissimo. L'ambiente è curato, il letto era molto comodo, e in generale tutto aveva un'atmosfera accogliente ed esteticamente curata. Gli amanti dei libri troveranno anche ampia scelta di letture in italiano e inglese. Davvero simpatico e disponibile il proprietario, che ha sicuramente reso il nostro breve soggiorno ancora più gradevole con i suoi aneddoti. Grazie! Di fronte al palazzo, un ottimo bar per una colazione super.

• Francesca (10/5): Posizione perfetta, pulizia impeccabile e accoglienza eccezionale! - Posizione davvero eccellente, in una zona di Firenze bellissima, molto curata e circondata da splendidi palazzi. L’Affittacamere Benedetta si trova a due passi dal Lungarno, a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a soli 10 minuti dai principali punti di interesse come Piazza della Signoria. La struttura è dotata di ogni comfort, estremamente pulita e ben tenuta. Il signor Luigi, il proprietario, è una persona squisita: gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con il sorriso. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, ma è sicuramente un posto in cui tornare. Consigliatissimo! Nulla.

The owner was exceptionally kind and accommodating — even though the check-in time was 4:30, he made an exception and allowed us to check in late due to an unforeseen delay. He also provided us with a kettle, along with coffee and tea bags, which was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend his accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable stay.

• Rana (8/5): - I can say that the location is very close to the train station and to everywhere else. I never felt the need to use public transportation. The only issue I had in the room was mosquitoes, but that wasn’t about the room — it was about Florence itself. The place is run by a lovely elderly couple. The cleaning is done before you arrive. They answer all your questions and are very friendly. Since it’s not a hotel, you might not be able to find someone to talk to face-to-face if you have an issue, but if you message them through Booking, you’ll get a response. I can also say that I liked the neighborhood I stayed in. It’s just that sometimes homeless people choose to stay in the park, though I’m not sure how important that would be for those considering staying here. There’s also a place nearby called The Joshua Tree Pub. It’s small and cozy — I’d definitely recommend it as well. Thank you.

We expected our own place but we got a private room in an apartment along with 4 or 5 rooms (we didn't feel them because we were the last room). We were also cold and asked to do something but apparently the central heating cannot be turned on until November (we had AC in the room and we didn't understand why it cannot be used).

• June (7/5): Great location - The apartment was in a great location. It was in a nice neighbourhood, near the river and close to restaurants and cafes. We walked our luggage to and from the train station and we walked everywhere else we needed to go. Luigi, our host, met us at the apartment and gave us suggestions on where to eat and what to see in Florence. The building had a lift and we had our own keys to enter the building and our room. The room was a studio apartment with two single mattresses forming the queen sized bed. It had two windows and we could open these and the shutters to let in light and air. The room was cleaned most days. The wi-fi was strong, the sheets and towels were clean and the water was hot. The fridge was tiny and there were no glasses or cups to have a drink. Also there was only small sachets of shower gel and shampoo.

Dadurch ist es in der Nacht entsprechend ruhig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und seine Empfehlungen für Besichtigungen und Restaurants waren ausgezeichnet.

He suggested restaurants, how to get the bus, sights to see. He called us a taxi for our departure to the train station. Great location. Close enough to walk to many areas and it was a nice upscale neighbourhood. I never felt scared walking the streets. A nice restaurant just around the corner with a delicious breakfast menu, although a little pricey, but a real gem. No complaints, everything was just great. I wouldn’t hesitate to return again.

• Nancy (9/5): Delightful, and very homey in a safe clean neighborhood - It’s a large room, with a shower you can move pretty freely in! Lots of thoughtful touches like a Kleenex box in the bathroom- a first in Italy! Garbage bins in convenient places, fridge…if you needed it, it was visible, convenient and user friendly. There were plenty of books to borrow in the hallway, a sweet cappuccino and grocery around the corner. And we received very helpful advice from the owner on sights and restaurants, (his English is excellent), that we enjoyed. The walls are a bit thin. I was disturbed by some noisy neighbors arriving back late.

I was ok and I did not have any issues with the bed, but my friend said that her mattress was a bit crouched on one side. Not terrible but still she could feel it.
• Dorota (8/5): Very good - The apartment is located in a very nice and quiet part of the city. Nearby is the U.S. embassy, upscale stores and very cool restaurants. Very convenient location 10 min walk to the train station 15-20min walk to the historic center (I recommend walking along the waterfront in the evening). The room was very clean and neat with all the basic amenities. Very helpful owner. The only thing to improve is the cushions. They were flat and hard as stone.

• Caroline (9/5): A lovely gracious room in a normally quiet neighborhood that gives one the sense of living as a Florentine. - We enjoyed the grandness of the room and the high quality of the soundproof windows. The innkeeper is a lovely gentleman with an encyclopedic and current knowledge of Firenze and La Toscana. He also has many books to help his guests plan even more excursions. The neighborhood has a large renovation/construction project going on across the street and there’s just one cafe within easy walking distance for your morning coffee and cornetto.

• Jaemie (10/5): Made my home in Florence. - Location: I love how close it was to the tram station and yet still a very quiet neighborhood. It's also accessible to a lot of sights and restaurants. Room: Big and comfortable. It was very clean. every corner was very clean. I loved how I was upgraded to a double room too. Host: Luigi and Maria were both very lovely in person. they helped me a lot and guided me with all my questions and queries specially Luigi. He was very patient with me. Since my flight was in the evening, they accomodated me to store my luggage while roaming around the city. This act of kindness goes a long way. Overall, I would definitely recommend this accomodation as its worth the value for money. I was travelling alone and staying here made me feel at home. Just because I'm not used to it, but the area where to shower is too small and cramped. it was hard to position and no area to put my toiletries whilebathing. But it was super clean and overall I can do with that.

The rooms are a bit outdated but have a very nice Italian feel to it. The rooms are large and have all the essentials needed. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Nothing to complain about

The owner was incredibly friendly, greeting us personally at the apartment and providing a brief overview of the city. He also recommended some must-try food spots, which was very helpful. And while this is not the place's fault, it was very difficult to find taxis. The shower was tiny. Could barely open my arms just a bit to clean myself and very difficult to reach the floor to get the shampoo, as there was not place to put it or the soap. The place was a bit far from the main attractions. I guess I did not evaluate that properly.
• Theodor (9/5): Lovely host, great location - First of all - hats off to the host, Luigi. A wonderful person with a lively spirit. He welcomed us to the hotel and have us directions, was very friendly and talked to us about many things. The location was very good, it's very close to the big park where you can take walks or go for a run. Lots of runners in the park there so you'll feel right at home. It's also close to the city center, everything within walking distance. The room was nice and clean, and I also appreciated the style of the decorations. It was nothing extravagant but lovely nonetheless. Very good value. Nothing in particular, maybe some sort of coffee machine either in the room or in the hotel, for that morning fuel before you go out.

The boss was very kind and friendly, helped us settle down and put down our luggage, let us go out and play without worry, and patiently taught us how to enter the door of the hotel, this area is very safe, close to the train station, There are C2 buses and T1 trams at the door, which can easily get to and from Florence's famous attractions and stations, and I would choose this place again! I especially like the style of this room, the sofa and various paintings in the corridor, which make me feel that the owner is a person who loves life and is full of art. In addition, the hot water pressure in the toilet is very good, the room is not near the main street, and it is quiet enough for me to sleep until the morning, I like it very much! After checking out, we will store the luggage temporarily until we come back to pick it up this afternoon. It was a very happy stay!
