- Magyarmike (10/5): Best hotel in Germany, best Wienerschnitzels in Europe! - I ended my holidays where I started them: at Spessarter Hof in Germany. The hosts (I met with friendly mother and kind daughter) are always willing to help, the atmosphere is very peaceful and just in front of the hotel a great hiking path to Dammbach (with icecream shop!) starts. My room (number 42) with balcony has very comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom and is located quietly at the end of a corridor. Moreover, the cook bakes the best Wienerschnitzels in Europe! I guess his secret is a touch of pepper, although I am not sure. Breakfast is spacious and dinner can be joined at the peaceful terrace as well. Partir c'est mourir un peu.
- Magyarmike (10/5): The best 'retro' accommodation of Germany! - This accommodation deserves far more attention and exposure! Although some might call it 'retro', the benefits are: spacious room, thick walls so cool in the summer, very friendly staff, great coffee and good, solid breakfast. Besides that, it is located in a fairytale town and walk- and cycle paths starts just alongside the accommodation! Nothing, it was fantastic.

- Colin (8/5): Lovely hotel and pet friendly (at a price) - Great sized room in a beautiful town. Chalet style room with lovely views and nice balcony. Bar downstairs served a very nice (large ) glass of wine. Continental breakfast was good. Room smelt of smoke, was so tired I didn’t bother to mention it.
