- Jacopo (1/5): -
- Ramesh (4/5): - The room was not very cool, making it uncomfortable at times. The toilet and shower were combined in the same small space, which made the overall area feel cramped.
- Algie (3/5): -
- Kristen (2/5): - This is the most unsafe run down false advertised property that’s I’ve ever stayed at. The back door was broken allowing anyone from the bus stop to use the bathrooms that open up into the dorm, unsafe for anyone traveling that has luggage inside. They didn’t even have a towel clean for me to take a shower, the facility messed sour because the shower and toilets were in the same room so when everyone used the bathroom there wet shoes made the carpet permanently wet. When I asked for a towel the guy got an attitude because he was to lazy to do laundry eventually I convinced him a towel should be provided since I had a doctors appt to go to. There’s so much luggage in the hallway you can’t move around. People are living in there full time. Instead of a mattress they provided a thin foam pad. The power outlet was so overused that my plug fell out so the worker gave me duct tape to tape my plug to the wall and seen nothing wrong with that. I had to choose between charging my phone and using my c-pap machine. My medical device was more important so I had to charge my phone next door at a restaurant. There was bugs on the water machine and to be honest every part of this experience was absolutely horrible. I’m grateful for my refund but I believe this property needs to be audited and taken off of this site, it’s clear by the pictures that’s it’s dirty, overcrowded and unsafe for travelers
- Wongwirun (9/5): Superb -
- Agata (2/5): Very poor - good location dirty, smells, toilets in shower in the same place - you shower in toilet cabin + no smoking area and people still smoked inside
- Karen (1/5): Bad -
- Angie (4/5): Very poor hygiene hostel - My and partner rent 2 capsules as a expirience. We did not expect much, even if advert say "private bathroom", I was a bit suspicious. But yes. . You share bathroom and toilet with all guests and workers. Bathrooms are so dirty, mirrors full of stains from toothpaste, doors are mouldy, after midnight some people smoking in toilets and it's stinks , we arrived and I found in my capsule human long, black hairs and ear beads.. Straight way I did ask for all bedsheets changed and that's has been sorted very quickly. Capluses falling apart, stairs to upper bed, doors magnets and locks not working , on main hallway it's stinks of dirty socks. It's planty other guests shoes. In reception the smell it's bad also.
That's very poor Hygiene hostel. In my Mather language we are calling "TROLOWNIA"
- Jose Angelo (8/5): - Great value but can improve cobdtion and cleanliness
- Hanketsu (2/5): Very poor - The price was affordable. The bedsheets were not so clean. At least from the looks of it. The charging outlet was weak that you have to not use such as phone while charging. The TV doesn't even work. The steps on the ladder was loose which someone could fall and get hurt. The blow dryer didn't last long. The shower was next with the toilet.
- Josh (4/5): Good if you enjoy hostels - The location and price Staff was rude that’s if you saw them. Toilets was filthy. The bed would be more comfy in a cell. Loud people talking at stupid hours
- John (2/5): The whole place was disgusting. The bed sheet looks like it was not changed. Pillow and blankets smells. Toilet and bath - None Very dirty.
- Hassan (5/5): Passable -
- Asif (3/5): Poor -
- Ahamed (7/5): Good -
- Rom33k (4/5): Disappointing - Localisation is very good, the personnel is helpful and sympathetic The bathroom is very dirty, the electrical socket in the capsule was barely working
- Qibbiq (5/5): Passable -
- Valerie (8/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Showers were cleaned daily but still didn’t feel clean as the building itself needs fresh paint and upgrades. Would stay again for the price is great.
- Franchesca (1/5): Bad -
- Aashish (7/5): Good -
- olga (10/5): - The staff was amazing!!
- Kylie (8/5): - Credit to the staff, name Junior, he is super helpful and friendly.
- Emir (7/5): Good -
- Dixie (8/5): Location is great. Okay place to stay if you’re in a budget. - The location is the best. We we’re able to take grab, buses and trains conveniently during our stay. There’s also 24h restaurants nearby and a 7-11 w/in 5 mins walk. There’s free water and breakfast which is a huge plus to us! The staff is also very accommodating before and during our stay. Thank you! The bathroom smells. The inside of the pod is a bit warm which made me feel uncomfortable. I had to use my portable fan for me to breathe inside. Other than those mentioned, my stay in the pod is okay.
- AMIT (6/5): - Well they must clean toilets and change bedsheet daily.
- Stacey (7/5): Cheaper option, but spend more for another place. - Location was great. Bed was uncomfortable and the edge to get in the pod was broken and it cut the back of my legs when I was getting in and out. The bathrooms were dirty and had bugs crawling around.
- Katie (6/5): Pleasant - The property was as it says, the pods themselves were clean, and very dark at night The shower, toilet cubicles were disgusting. Insects on the walls and constantly dirty but other people staying there
- Saki (8/5): - There are toilet & shower in the same cell.
So when you use only toilet, you face wet floor and toilet seat.
almost Japanese didn't like that.....
- Farin (2/5): Very poor -
- Sumuditha (3/5): Average - No clean...washroom was not clean...there was no proper arrangement Staff is very good
- Sanh (7/5): Good -
- Yazid (1/5): I hope for refund because i did not stay for 2 days at all. - Not a safe place to stay.i have book out on my first day. No privacy at all.
- Sachin (8/5): Very good -
- Ratha (7/5): Good - Clean and good service
- Rhodz (4/5): - There’s a consistent smell in the air.. not a lot of places to hang. Mainly stay in pod or outside. Budget friendly but maybe spend a bit more to go next door who also have pods but more space. The staff is awesome though!
- Amar (4/5): It's a good stay if you want a last minute booking but lower your expectations - The staff accommodated my request of a late check-in and they also make sure that I was comfortable. Breakfast is provided. The facility has a good working wifi My capsule has a funny smell to it. The toilet's cleanliness is questionable. They mentioned after 1030pm is the quite hours but I could still hear people talking loudly late in the hours.
- Tong (6/5): Price per night is reasonable but the cleanliness can be further improved for higher rankings. - The capsule pod itself with its self-contained lights, aircon, usb chargers and sliding door with auto-lock. The common area was untidy.
Without proper lockers for personal storage, the corridor was crowded with bags, shoes and clothes hangers.
Some guests used their mobile phones in the capsule pods and talked loudly in their foreign languages for a long time! At least they stopped that after 10pm.
- Hubert (8/5): Great place to sleep on budget in Singapore - Great place to spend a few nights in Singapore on budget. Capsule was nice. Shower had a warm water . Bathroom was clean. No to much space for luggages, maybe mattress was to hard and thin. Somebody could clean floor below capsules because I saw rubbish and dust below.
- Verônica (7/5): Good - We could leave our luggage in the reception after check-out.
- Waihoong (6/5): Pleasant -
- Francesca (4/5): Cheap bed, extremely basic, noisy and scary bathrooms - Close to metro, very accessible Dirty, bug ridden toilet/shower facilities
- Viet (6/5): - Friendly staffs but not so clean, the towel was not dry properly after washing.
- Jarum2 (8/5): Very good -
- Vijayarajah (5/5): Passable -
- Hasib (7/5): Good -
- Tabish (1/5): Bad - I didn't continue to stay here despite Booking.com charging me in full. Had to shift from here This place is for Animals and not human beings. The AIRCONDITIONER Doesn't work inside the POD. There is no place to keep your belongings and to open up your luggage. It's filthy and smelly. There are more than 16 people with 3 FILTHY TOILETS ONLY, in the toilet no place to keep your toiletries and there is no exhaust fan leaving it smelly No proper Drainage as the water on the floor is sustained. Leaving no room to change properly. I HAD TO LEAVE THE NEXT MORNING. PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE, BOOKING.COM SHOULD NOT ADD THESE TYPES OF PLACES🙏
- Ming (5/5): Passable - Good location Smells in the room and toilets condition are poor, no shower gels…
- Alvin (3/5): Poor -
- Filza (9/5): Superb -
- Krishna (6/5): Children who accomapany can be accommodated along with adults - Breakfast can be some other menu than bread Space in the front area
- Raaquib (8/5): Very good -
- Jovan (7/5): Budget option with decent location - For me it was the first time sleeping in capsule pods so it was interesting experience but not comfy for longer stays obviously. This was one of the cheapest options for accomodations in Singapore at this time. The air in capsule was good as well as equipment inside it. Wifi was great. The location is good, near Little India, 10 minutes walk to 2 MRT stations. Plenty of good street food options nearby and in Little India. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved. There are wear and tear signs inside the capsule and mattress and pillow are not so comfortable for sleeping.
- Rodel (2/5): Very poor - The place was smelly and didnt continue my stay as I was uncomfortable from day 1. I stayed for a day only, then moved out. Unfortunately they dont refund any amount anymore, so the 6 days pay was a give away to them.
- Somen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Euglent (5/5): Passable -
- Imran (1/5): very bad experience - very bad service they didn’t give any toiletries & staff also not friendly.
- J (1/5): Horrible experience, double booked rooms - Staff was extremely rude.. we had left the room for a few days without vacating, but when we returned, they had given out our rooms to others.. They then refused to refund us..
- Danny (7/5): The pods were exactly what you see in photos just the toilets and the front were a down side - Pods were good, private and tidy Entry wasn’t inviting and bathrooms were dirty and low hygiene
- Unashish (6/5): Pleasant -
- Charlotte (2/5): Good idea but place isn’t looked after and we didn’t feel safe - The concept of the pods is creative and unique. The lady working there was useful. The aircon, steps to bed, lock and charging portal were all broken. The room had a bad odour and wasn’t clean. The bathroom was a shower in a tiny toilet cubicle so everything was wet. In the morning there was no toilet roll. One of our group members was woken up in the middle of the night by a stranger knocking on the pod, we didn’t feel safe or comfortable.
- Noor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ma (7/5): It is a value for money, if someone just needs a temporary place to stay. - The staff, Junior, was very nice and accomodating. He stayed up late to check us in because our flight was delayed and landed so late. So even if it was very late at night, he was there to assist us and explain everything for us. He was ok to move my son on a different pod, because my son was having a difficulty climbing up and down his assigned pod, coz one of the steps was broken. He even lent a slippers for my son just to use temporarily, coz we forgot to pack slippers for my son. The pods were so cool with all the lights and futuristic design. It needs maintenance a bit, there was a step on the ladder which was broken. The pod that was assigned to my husband had a broken aircon, but it was ok because they provided an electric fan. The area was a little small to what I imagined, it was missing a separate area like lockers to store bags and luggage, as the bags were just parked outside the pods and they only have an open area at the end to placed big luggages. The toilet/washroom was also mixed, it would have been better to have a separate male and female toilet/shower room, even if the pods area was mixed.
- Leanna (3/5): I would not recommend this place based on the cleanliness. - The person working the front desk was very helpful. He took the time to make sure we were settled in and answered all of our questions. I happened to get a pod that didn’t lock. Most of the lights as well as the usb ports did not work in my pod. The walls in the pod were dirty, my pillows and sheets were either stained or dirty. Most of the bathroom stalls were out of toilet paper most of the time.
- Jaffer (9/5): Superb -
- Jimmy (7/5): Good -
- Nicolaas Salomo Louw (4/5): - The Mattress and cushion were to thin. The place is dirty. Otherwise, the place is ok.
- Abdul (7/5): Good -
- Sebastian (1/5): horrible - absolutely nothing is good in this property. the photos are a lie literally. we choose the place based on the photos and comments about people but is disgusting everything is dirty, old, bad smell. they have to be more honest to offer this kind of accomodation. I know is a hostel but for the price we payed it wasn’t worthy. the bathroom, the cleaning, the social area. everything is bad really bad.
- Lauren (5/5): Passable -
- wenduan (2/5): - it is totally a horrible place, dirty, bad smell. A factory space changed to a space 40 capsule pods with one isle, and all these people living in that space. The pod is not clean, smells bad. There is no lobby, social room and dinning room. It should not be a youth hotel.
- Heather (6/5): Simple - Location wise it was perfect as it was a 8 minute walk from my friends hotel.
facilities were ok for what it was, if you’re back packing and travelling extremely light then it’s perfect. if you have luggage then not so much as there is no room inside the pod for it. i didnt use the bathroom as i showered and changed at my friends hotel. sheets smelt funny but that could be i’m just used to my own sheet smell. Felt messy but more because of decor, think of they spruced things up it would feel better.
- Anna (5/5): Passable -
- Mrs (5/5): Passable -
- Amanda (4/5): Very basic & a bit grim. - The staff member when I checked in was very nice. Not comfortable and very basic
- Mhd (4/5): Disappointing - the location only the electric socket in the capsule was not working - there are no enough mugs to drink - the eating place is very small - the bathrooms are small and always wet
- Chanelzha (5/5): Very friendly hostel vibes, receptionist was amazing just a little bit unhygienic in the bathroom. - Everyone was friendly, questions were asked and answered. The bathroom facilities were really unclean and unhygienic.
- Eric (3/5): Poor -
- Evgen (4/5): Disappointing - Nice bed, comfy Disgusting wash room, combination between toilet and shower..
- Jiezl (5/5): Passable -
- Seela (9/5): Superb -
- Jae (6/5): Pleasant -
- Josefine (4/5): Not so fun - Pod is clean, does not smell. Many of the pods are broken some ways. Lots of tape. The bathroom is dirty, not cleaned very well. There is mold at the walls. Breakfast is only bread and some jam. Would not recommend
- Tariro (10/5): Exceptional - The host is so nice and very flexible. The pods is a unique experience every traveler should experience
- Tyson (5/5): Good value for money for people on a low budget. - It’s very cheap, friendly staff and in a good location close to bars. there is nowhere secure to put your larger luggage.
- Axel (9/5): Superb - nice people, always helpful, The bathroom needs an upgrade. partially it is damage. and there is no space by the sink to put your stuff
- Leon (7/5): Best backpacking hostel in Singapore - Probably the best accommodation for backpack travelers. The pods had enough room to store even a small luggage bag inside. The bed itself was really comfortable and well aerated. Location just in a ~3-10 minute walk to multiple train stations and bus stops.
The staff was exceptionally nice and courteous. Some things need to be repaired or looked after, but nothing that would ruin your visit.
My handle to the capsule for example was unhinged.
And the restrooms could need a little bit more care, too.
- Tobias (5/5): Passable - Cool Design, helpfully Personal No Recreation room, Cleanliness could be better
- Brent (4/5): A cheapish hostel that used to be ok. - * Good location for MRT and eateries. * Still no place to store luggage. Keep your valuables with you or inside the capsule and just try to find a spot for your main luggage (but keep checking it hasn’t been moved).
* No maintenance since my last stay. Capsules starting to fall apart.
* No daily or hourly cleaning of the shared bathroom facilities. Disgustingly dirty.
* Staff at reception but didn’t acknowledge me even after I greeted them, then walked off for 10 minutes. (This was after 10 hrs of traveling).
* Price of staying there has gone up (this is standard now for Singapore accommodation since CoVid).
- Gregor (5/5): Passable -
- Taahira (6/5): Pleasant - Bathrooms needs to be cleaned
- Isaac (6/5): It’s cheap, expect some inconveniences, but it is a bed and shower. - Bed was clean and comfortable, there is a bit of privacy and you can lock the door to the pod. Close to a major shopping center. Bus stops are near by. Biggest issue is the restroom. 1 sink wasn’t working, no hand soap, toilet and shower are the same room, with no place to put your dry clothes. Sure there’s a rack with hooks but items WILL get wet if you hang them there.
- Hafreez (3/5): Poor -
- Yingxuan (6/5): you get what you paid😹 - the location is convenient We waited 30mins outside no one attend and we call the number given and message but no response. the capsule is fine but the bathroom toilet is quite dirty and terrifying as both men and women shared, some men went in but didn’t close the door. no space to put the luggage and everyone is placing their luggage at the corridors of the beds
- Kaiqian (4/5): Disappointing -
- Gregor (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Uncomfortable mattress + smelly - It fulfilled the basics of a pod hotel but there were lots of issues: the pod room smelled extremely sweaty and gross, the pods were cheap plastic and some were visibly cracked in places. My pod had a TV I guess but it didn't work. There were multiple bright LEDs in my pod that I had to cover while I slept. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable and the duvet was not the cleanest. The pod was not really soundproofed at all. Only positive was the size of the pod which was plenty for me as a 182cm man. I'd only recommend this if you're seriously on a budget and just need somewhere to crash for a single night.
- Jemima (2/5): Very poor -
