The on site breakfasts and dinners are small and intimate, we loved meeting some interesting and like minded fellow travellers. The food was home made and delicious (thank you to Amanda for the desserts) . All round an exceptional spot to enjoy Noto and surrounds.

• Brett (10/5): - The property at Tenuta Olive Alive was just beautiful — villas spread apart so well that you hardly see anyone else. Surrounded by olive, fig, lime, and walnut trees, it felt peaceful and private. The homemade Dinner was stunning. The pasta Norman was on a whole different level, honestly way better than a highly rated restaurant we tried in Noto. Everything was clearly crafted with care. A true gem, and one I’d go back to in a heartbeat.

Such a beautiful tranquil property with a wonderful host Italo and his team, including delightful Amanda to take such good care of us. We felt extremely rejuvenated after our getaway at this beautiful gem. The whole property, including the pool area, has a spectacular view over Noto.

The property is out of town, on a hilltop with breathtaking views of Noto and the countryside. It is secluded, with a beautiful pool. We enjoyed a delicious dinner around the pool (four courses), Italo organised a masseur to come one day. It was the most relaxing stay during our holiday in Sicily. Highly recommend.

Italo is willing to help with suggestions for local activities. Just note the hot tub is communal and children are not allowed. The listing is misleading and I thought it was a private hot tub. But it’s a shared hot tub for all guests with a 70 euro fee per hour.

Attentive to any need, sincere, happy and always very helpful in anyway to help your stay enjoyable and memorable. The road leading up to the property is a bit rough and bumpy. We had rented an SUV, so it was not an issue. But once, you made it to the property....you immediately forgot about the ride up!

• Michael (10/5): - We stayed 5 nights at Tenuta Olive Alive and loved it! We used Noto as a bounce off point to visit several towns in the area (Siracusa-Ortigia, Modica, Ragusa Ibla etc). A short drive into Noto itself. Fantastic accom, took advantage of the rain outdoor spaces for some meals, made good use of the pool. Our host, Italo was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. He cooked for us one night - which was sensational. We are a family of four, incl two younger children. They loved the loft style bedroom they had. The shutters allowed for us to get a couple of nice sleep ins too. Highly recommend this accom for anyone visiting the area.
• David (10/5): A idyllic and relaxing vision of the Sicilian countryside made real. - The hotel was set on a beautiful, protected hillside with olive groves and other local produce such as lemons, oranges and almonds- proudly grown by the owner. The mix of plants and trees provided an incredible aroma that greeted you whenever you went outside to enjoy the grounds. This m was just one small detail in a property that was full of pleasant surprises. The pictures on booking are fully representative of the experience and the owner was helpful, attentive and friendly with some interesting stories of Sicilian history and helpful recommendations. Unfortunately, and I stress this was no issue with the property itself, the road access that is maintained by the local government is far from ideal, however if you are familiar with the economic situation of rural Sicily it is to be expected.

• Peter (10/5): A perfect place with a fantastic host. - Immaculate place in the hills just outside Noto. The infinity pool is very quiet and with an amazing view. Italo is a fantastic host, and took very good care of us. He cooked us a lovely private dinner by the poolside overlooking the valley. We one small issue with a broken airconditioning unit, which Italo immediately and perfectly handled by moving us to a different room with working AC, and had an engineer in the next morning so we could move back into the room we had booked. Fantastic breakfast with lots of home made items, including the bread and spreads, cakes, fresh juice and vegetables. They had a list of recommended places for dinner which was very helpful. The driveway is a bit bumpy, but very much worth it.

The pool area was so relaxing that we did not leave the property every day. • Marek (10/5): Wonderful oasis of tranquility. - We intended just to stay for two nights and ended up staying five. Tenuta Olive Alive is a wonderful, secluded oasis of peace and beauty, overlooking the picturesque town of Noto, with a view of the Ionian sea in the distance. The somewhat tricky drive up to the Tenuta is rewarded with beautiful views and a lovely place to stay. Italo and his lovely wife are freliendly and knowledgeable, Amanda who prepares and served breakfast is fantastic and Aurora quietly ensures the room is clean and tidy. I particularly loved the hammock by the pool (unfortunately the latter is not heated) and the view. Bird song greeted us every morning. Next time I will try the spa! Thank you to all at Olive Alive for a memorable stay.

Everything about this place is beautiful: the views from the property, the olive and orange trees, the sounds of the Sicilian country side, the decorations and details of the rooms and common areas, the infinity swimming pool, and the warm kindness of Mr. Italo and his wife. We'll carry with us wonderful memories of our time at the Tenuta.

It’s a real treat to stay here. The track to the property is slightly challenging.

• Hannah (10/5): Breathtaking property full of olive trees - What a stunning property with olive trees everywhere! The owner, Italo, is also a producer of olive oil and it's absolutely delicious. Quintessential high quality Sicilian olive oil. The property itself is marvelous - bougainvillea everywhere (my favorite plant), olive trees, lime trees. The views from the pool are out of this world. The breakfast is delicious - fresh jams and juices made fresh, and local cheeses and meats. Highly recommend doing a dinner with Italo - 5 course meal with the freshest ingredients. Come prepared to give pets and scritches to the pets on the property :) We loved it all!

We felt as if the owner was prioritising his personal guests over paying customers. When we arrived, there was no one at reception. We ended up having to call the number on Booking.com to get hold of the owner who eventually showed up to give us our key. We booked because the venue was advertised as 'no children'. When we got to the pool area on the day of arrival, there were three children making a lot of noise and dive bombing the pool! Their parents had also spread themselves across all the loungers and there was no space for us so we left and went back to our room. Day two was better, but we were only staying two nights so overall, we didn't feel as if it was value for money or a very relaxing experience. Prices for drinks served by the pool were expensive too. . .

• Lynne (10/5): Wonderful peaceful stay in a secluded hill top hotel. - The location is so quiet and peaceful with lovely views. The pool isn’t heated but was still wonderful. Just dive straight in. Only a small number of rooms so not overcrowded. A car is necessary for dinner in the lovely local town of Noto. We enjoyed a gorgeous meal prepared by the owner on the day we arrived. Breakfast was a relaxed affair and is served indoors or outside on the terrace as you like. Would highly recommend this property. Leaving the pool behind!

Italo is a great host and a character to engage with, he gave us a lot of good recommendations for the area. the breakfast was super tasty with very high quality spread. we’re definitely coming back! there was an issue with the spa but we could still enjoy our time there privately.

The property set high on a hillside feels like a bit of heaven with beautiful grounds that are tended with much love and thoughtfulness. Our cottage had lovely outside spaces including a small patio with seating and a fabulous rooftop deck with amazing views of the city and surrounding mountains-- a perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Noto. It was our host, Italo, however that made our stay so special. He made us feel very welcome--as though we were family members he hadn't seen in a long time. We appreciated his warmth and his passion for his beloved region. His helpful guidance offered with generosity and enthusiasm made our stay so much richer. Thank you also to Amanda for her kindness and attentive service.

Es hatten noch einige Dinge gefehlt , aber die Besitzer haben uns alles gebracht , was wir noch benötigt haben! Die Besitzer sind extrem sympathisch und engagiert und haben uns einen schönen Aufenthalt geboten !
• Verified traveler (10/5): Paradiesisch! - Wir haben hier sehr erholsame 5 Nächte im Bungalow Cornucopia verbracht. Das Zimmer mit privater Terrasse war äußerst gemütlich (Bett sehr komfortabel mit Federkissen, neues Badezimmer mit großer Dusche und Fenster) und liebevoll eingerichtet. Durch die Entfernung von ca. 50 m zur Hauptvilla bot das Zimmer sehr viel Privatsphäre, was uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen hat. Die gesamte Anlage inklusive traumhaftem Pool (zzgl. 2 Whirlpools) mit Panoramablick auf Noto ist ausgesprochen gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt. Der Service beim exzellenten Frühstück (quasi alles hausgemacht) sowie die Reinigung des Zimmers waren ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war super herzlich, ebenso wie die Besitzer Italo und Dominique. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Grazie mille per il bellissimo soggiorno!
