• Abdel Monem (10/5): - First of all the host Radonja is a decent man and it was easy to contact him and he was flexible for our needs, as i arranged with him the night before arrival he was waiting for us outside the property and he welcomed us and gave us alot of recommendations from sightseeing to dinning and we followed most of it and we didn't get disappointed as it was amazing. The studio is clean, centrally located in the old town and of a good size just enough for 2 person despite the toilet is on the tiny side. It's a lively area so expect noise till after the midnight. Thank you Radonja for your nice invitation for the coffe and all the nice recommendations which helped us having better holiday

You are in the middle of the old town which is really great! There is a pub right in front of it where they play music extremly loud. Besides that there is NO free parking space (its mentioned otherwise on booking)

He greeted us on arrival and showed us to our apartment in the heart of Old Town which is buzzing day and night with a large choice of good restaurants. Free parking is also available. He also gave us plenty of information and options for our time in Kotor and organised a boat tour to the famous landmarks. Would thoroughly recommend to book with Studios Belvi in Kotor, Montenegro. Thank you for lasting memories.

• amy98 (10/5): - Host is friendly, gave us useful tips what to do in Kotor, just amazing. He met us at a gas station and showed us a way to parking, then helped us with bags to apartment. There is 5-10min walk from parking to apartment, since the apartment is located inside the walls of Old town. This location is best you can do in Kotor. Many bars, restaurants and shops are just steps away. Amazing views when discovering Old town. Beach is 10mins easy walk away and totally worth it. Bar downstairs was pretty loud in the evening, so if you like to sleep early, bring some ear plugs. If not, then you'll love hanging out there.

• Al (10/5): A Wonderful Stay at Studios Belvi – Thank You, Radonja! - I stayed at Studios Belvi for 3 nights (July 23–26) and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Kotor Old Town, making it easy to explore everything on foot. What really made my stay special was the hospitality of the owner, Radonja. He welcomed me with a drink upon arrival and personally took the time to sit down and show me the best itineraries around Kotor. His friendliness, kindness, and genuine care made me feel right at home. I truly appreciated not having to worry about planning or finding tours, as everything was thoughtfully laid out by Radonja. It made my trip stress-free and enjoyable. I honestly have no suggestions for improvement—just a big thank you for the excellent service. I would definitely recommend Studios Belvi to anyone visiting Kotor! None. Everything is perfectly fine!

• Dayana (10/5): A Warm Welcome - I had a wonderful experience staying at Studios Belva. The location is perfect—close to everything, but still peaceful. The hostess was incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to help with anything I needed.
• Maryam (8/5): Charming apartment- but too loud outside - Little cute & clean apartment in the location in Old town Kotor. The host is amazing: responsive and very hospitable. However his apartment is located right next to the loudest pub/bar in old town Kotor. The bar’s very loud music goes on exactly up until 1:00 am. Our unit had washing machine and very powerful AC.
• Christopher (8/5): - The location of this property is unbeatable. It’s hard to find because it’s within the walls of old town. The owner is a wonderful young man who is very helpful and will be there whenever you need him. This particular time, the parking situation was not good. We had to park at a gas station three blocks away, which for us, caused us a little stress. The owner said no problem, and he was right. He even helped us take our luggage to and from his property. Also, the Wi-Fi was out most of the time we were there and we really needed that so that was tough. The owner said it was a citywide outing so it wasn’t his fault. It’s hard to be fair when reviewing this property because normally he has a good parking space and I’m sure the Wi-Fi normally works just fine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

The apartment is located just above a coffee/bar that may be a bit noisy at night. But the coffee is excellent :)

The host did everything possible to accommodate our arrival and overall stay. We were guided and shown to all attractions, restaurants, tours, and hikes as well as shops and a free parking(!).

• Niels (8/5): Perfectly located studio in old town. - Very central good location. Was lucky to experience an entertaining night with street music at the bar next door. Good size room. Very comfy bed (although could do with proper blankets). Host is very nice and happy to make your Kotor experience a positive one. Tiny bathroom. Make clear arrangements for key handover (there is no reception). Park your car at the paid and gated parking north of the old town (for euro 80c per hour), not the suggested free unsupervised parking on the south side of town.
• Lawrence (10/5): Great location, excellent staff, well done - Great location near everything. Easy walk to market, gate, and food. Even while in the main street it was quiet enough for sleeping. Air con was well done. Staff was amazing - took really good care of us despite a short notice reservation. The owner spent some time on a container ship so understands how to manage small spaces. It really shows. Not much to complain about. Two twin beds means a couple will be apart. If we had more time we would have arranged a little bit. It could be small for some people but for us it was good. Not much of a view would be my only real mention.

• Cassandre (10/5): Exceptional - The location was ideal, and the host was really helpful, providing us with maps in our mother tong. He also booked a taxi for us to go to the airport. The flat was clean and had everything we needed for a couple of days. The only bemol is that it is above a bar that is noisy until 1am. It was not an issue for us, but can be if you are a light (early) sleeper.
• Onur (10/5): Many thanks to Radonja and Vanja for their help and support :) - The property is in the center of the Old town and you can hang out no matter what time is it. And also the host of the studio is very kind and helpfull. I definitely recommend it.
• Daphne (4/5): Scam? - Location is right in the centre of the old town close-by to a lovely little square that sometimes has live music; not too far up and quite easy to find. Size of the room is good. The host is very happy to help and can sometimes go beyond what is expected. He helped us book a taxi the night before our departure which we really appreciated. Oh boy… A lot of the amenities listed aren’t functional and/or basically there just to make the room seem more attractive on paper. The TV is an old thick Panasonic that doesn’t even work. The kitchen only has two small heating pads which might work if only there was space to prepare the food :) also no chopping board so we had to cut up our food in the kitchen sink. The “linen” listed are pillowcases, two linen sheets, and two old blankets. There is no mattress cover which made us super uncomfortable sleeping there. The flat is located right above the most popular bar in Kotor so very noisy and made it hard to sleep. The WiFi was quite slow and often intermittent. When I opened the kitchen cabinet it stank so foul and I realised it was covered in mould :))) see photo added The host seemed quite generous at first and offered to buy us a beer to welcome us to the city, but then he kept coming and knocking on our door and asking us to grab a beer every day during our stay :// We didn’t feel comfortable saying no as he is in a position of power as our landlord and could kick us out but eventually had to, which he ignored and kept asking anyway. He also wanted us to invest in his company and proposed us to work for him in exchange for a free stay at one of his apartments which felt super inappropriate. His recommendations for restaurants and activities in the city are of course sponsored (which he does not say - he confessed to this later.) After we tried the two restaurants he recommended to us (which were not very good) we asked for a third recommendation, to which he replied that we should try other dishes at those same restaurants. Even though we saw him every day of our stay not ONCE did he ask us how we liked our room or if we enjoyed our stay. Though we appreciated some of his help his incessant advances and urging for us to “make business together” made us super uncomfortable and honestly ruined our vacation in Kotor to some degree.
• Gillian (10/5): Wonderful stay and wonderful host - Our stay was great! We arrived much later than expected (midnight instead of 6pm) and the hotel owner was kind and understanding. The next morning he gave us many tips for our trip in Montenegro over a cup of coffee. The property was clean and affordable and perfect for two friends. The bathroom was clean and efficient. It is also located very close to the bus station and right in the old town, so it is a great location with a great price. I am very happy we chose Studio Belvi for our short stay, it was the perfect place to see Old Town in a short time.

Next door to the busiest bar in the old town, music was on until the early hours of the morning but bearable. We found it a little difficult to initially find the accommodation, google maps did not provide the exact location and the description didn’t really help either. Once found, the host was very helpful and happy to share local knowledge and made for a pleasant stay.

The place is very central, heart of the old town. Room is very clean, smoothly decorated. Definitely i will visit again.

The host communicates well. It’s 10 min walk to the town bus terminal. There is a bar right by the place with loud music.

The studio was very clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The street view from our studio was very good. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us. We also appreciated the cozy and modern decor of the studio, which made it feel like a home away from home. Overall, Studios Belvi exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kotor.
• Alba Susan (10/5): Great host, perfect location, excellent value - Chose Studios Belvi for location: easy walk from Kotor's main bus station:10 min with luggage! inside historic Old City walls. It was even easier to find that we expected: walked in the Gurdic Gate & in two minutes in front of Studios Belvi's green shutters. We sent a message via Hotels to the host letting him know when to expect us BUT the bus was late (slow border crossing from Croatia) so we arrived at 8:45 instead of 8:15 yet the host Radonga was there waiting to help with luggage. We had hesitated about booking because pix showed two beds: but the host, seeing we're a couple, offered a unit with a brand new large bed! Perfect. The unit we got was on the first level up, which means a set of stairs from the street & another inside the building- not hard to navigate but nice that we had the host's help! In fact, we'd say that the three best things about Studios Belvi are: (1) Location (2) Host (3) Value. The unit's small, kitchen tiny: we only wanted it for the frig & making tea & coffee so it was fine.(Has everything you need to make meals: we just enjoyed eating out in Kotor.) A real closet with plenty of space, shutters to block out light & noise, slept very soundly. Radonga gave us info about options for tourism & at our request met with us our first morning to talk about those. His suggestions were all excellent: first rate boat excursion & restaurants. Studios Belvi top uni is the best (may take it next time!) & host has another bldg with upscale apts @ Kotor Beach.

• Ying (10/5): Great place! - Great location in the old town! Very close to one of the gates. A short 5 mins walk to the free parking place. Also close to the passage way going up to the fortress. Have good restaurant and ice cream shop in 2 mins nearby. The owner of the place is very nice and polite. Fast response to messages and calls. Also shared a lot of histories and travel tips of Kotor. Thanks!

The bar just outside wasnt interfering us The room is tiny as well as the shower. Dated furniture. Evrything was very old. No kettle in the kitchenette corner. But everything was clean

Room was good with AC which was really nice. Host even took us to a cafe and we had a good laugh. • Cynthia (10/5): - Nice apartment right in the heart of Old Town Kotor. The space offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and also includes a washing machine. The owner is very knowledgeable and informative on places to visit and things to do in the area. If you come by taxi it is a short walk from just outside the city walls. There is a grocery store just outside the walls as well and it’s about a 5-7 minute walk. The space is located up a few flights of stairs and above a bar. It does get a bit noisy in the evening so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs. All in all a great place to stay in the heart of Old Town Kotor.

Not only is Studios Belvi a great place to stay but the owner demonstrated that there really are caring and helpful people who look beyond the current day. • Kurt (9/5): Superb - The location was ideal and the host was quite friendly. We were only there for one day and this room was perfect for our needs. The host gave us a great recommendation for a breakfast spot on the morning of our departure. The room is directly over a bar/restaurant that has music until late. It was no problem at all for us but a light sleeper could have issues.

• Myles (7/5): Great location and reasonable price for what it offers - Great location in the old town, easy to get to everything. Was very noisy in the evening with bar right downstairs. Room was ok, but could do with some modernisation and upgrades. Beds could be comfier. The process for key collection and drop off could be made a bit clearer.

• Juan (10/5): Kotor old town discovery from inside. - The apartment is a short walk distance far from the Bus Station, but inside the old walled town. It is placed in a small square and very close to all the churches, palaces and squares of Kotor town. It is pretty easy to reach the small and cousy beach, as it is in a 5-10 min walking distance. Radoitjin came some minutes after we called him and explained us what to see and visit, and gave us a map of the town. The apartment was in the third floor, a duplex one, with some facilities to cook, clean and ready to be used. At nights the bar in the square is quite loudly, although closing inner and outer windows there was no problem to sleep. The building is in an old house and the bath is small, but one can manage without problems.

• Federica (8/5): Very central, within the old town - The position is optimal within the old city. The host was very kind and recommended activities and restaurants where to go. He also recommended us a free parking just few minutes away from the apartment as parking can be quite expensive in Kotor if you arrive by car. The apartment is nice and comfortable, with air conditioning and a small kitchen. We loved roaming around the old city it's really beautiful. Easy also to reach the port where boat tours depart. We were at the first floor and was quite noisy as bars with music and lots of people just below us. We were so tired from the day, that we didn't even mind the noise and we slept really well.

• Mary Ann (10/5): Sweet spot in an amazing city! - The location of this apartment within the walls of the city is unbeatable. It's great to be able to stop back in during the day to drop off packages (which you'll have) or pick up something you need. The best part of the apartment is your host who will sit you down at check-in and give you advice and restaurant info. Do the boat tour he recommends, it's wonderful! He is also always available for questions at any time. I texted him many times and always got prompt responses. But this spot is not for everyone. There are stone steps to climb to get into the building and it is upstairs from a very popular bar so if you tuck in for the night at 9pm, you may want to opt for something more out of the way. The apartment is not fancy but has everything you need and if location is your top priority this is great choice. It's a 10 minute walk from the bus station and the host arranged a 20 euro cab drive to the airport.

We found it very comfortable and easy to use. The host is lovely and we had plenty of useful recommendations to help us plan our time. Would thoroughly recommend and we will certainly be back!

Washing machine in bedroom but worked ok, limited clothes drying facilities. Host was very accommodating. No reception so need to arrange arrival time beforehand.

Bit of confusion on check in as hotels.com says to contact the host 24+ hours prior to arrange check in time. Host only had Montenegrin phone number listed so we couldn’t be in touch. Radonja was there when we arrived though so no problems. The bathroom smells due to the old plumbing and historic location. This was pretty similar in most bathrooms in the area. But since we weren’t in room for long, it wasn’t too bothersome. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

I messaged the property as soon as I booked and the host responded that I can check in to the roo - Great location right in the heart of the walled city in Mostar. A short walk to the bus station. It wasn’t a big issue for me as I can sleep through noise however there is a bar downstairs. If you are sensitive to noise and can’t sleep this might be an issue for you.

He took time to greet us upon check-in, show the map of the places we should visit, organise a Podgorica airport transfer, take us to restaurants (we arrived late at night, so he wanted to make sure where we can find places to eat), and also he let us leave our luggage (in fact, a late check-out at no additional cost, given it's quiet being winter) until we were ready to leave in the afternoon for our flights. All these immensely helped our visit in Kotor, and made things a lot easier for us. Really appreciate everything!! Kotor is a beautiful town, and the Montenegro locals were so helpful and friendly. (To be honest, quite a comparison to our experience in Croatia, in a pleasant way!)
• Kevin (10/5): Great stay in Old Town - Had a great stay in Kotor at this place. Radonja was a fabulous host, and made sure I knew everything important about Kotor. It's in a great location to access everything there is to do. There is a busy bar downstairs, so it's not a quiet retreat, but the location is completely worth it. I would definitely stay there again.
• Wendy (4/5): Good location, but with issues so I do not recommend. Owner needs to learn to listen. - Location. Not tiny. Noise from bar below. No sheets on the bed, neither bottom or top sheets!!! In dark kitchen, very slow hotplate. Only lid for pans had broken handle. Owner SPEAKS good English but his English comprehension and/or his willingness to listen is BAD. He never asked how my stay was even though I saw him twice after I checked in. So I never asked him why no sheets or said how noisy it was at night. When I try to explain to him how I burned a dish towel due to the only pan lid having a broken handle and how a lid was necessary to boil water because his hot plate is otherwise so slow, he doesn't listen - just keeps saying "No problem" over and over. So don't expect improvements if you stay there. Oh yeah, wi-fi only intermittent. Very problematic.
• Karla (10/5): - The space was darling and unique, a sitting room, small kitchen, and bath on first level, bedroom on second. Very easy to get to from the bus station - just 7 minutes away. The host was wonderful! He was so helpful and kind and made us feel at home.

• Laura (7/5): Good - The guesthouse is in the midieval center of Kotor. We came by bus and it was just a little walk from the bus station to the guesthouse. Our host took his time to explain the city and gave us also recomandations. That was very kind! The guesthouse was basic and okay, all what we needed:)

• Manon (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very nice and helpful. We met at the rental location, walked together to my car, and drove to the parking spot he had for us, just 10min away by foot. He then showed us the room, and showed us the city map he prepared for us with things to do/visit. Very very nice of him ! There is a bar downstairs which can be a bit loud for people who are sensitive to noise, but for us all was fine, we could sleep very well !
• Narine (10/5): Exceptional - Apartments are right in the center of Old Town. The room was very nice, well-furnished with all the necessary things. All famous places, nice cafes and restaurants are around. The owner was very kind, gave us valuable information and many great tips😊 It was great being there and enjoying our time in Kotor! ❤️hopefully will be back soon!
• Gustavo (10/5): Charming and value for money but no parking - Situated in an unbeatable location inside the walled city. The studios are small but comfortable, well-lit, spotless, with excellent WiFi and very friendly staff. Despite the advertisement and the driving instructions mail to guests by this property, it has no parking facilities whatsoever and you must find your free/paid spots outside the walled city.
• Adays (10/5): Mother & Daughter trip - Excellent choice! Exactly what I wanted! Restaurants, bars, shopping area within walking distance! Even the boat tour was within 7 mins walking! There is a bar down the apartment so full of live! The owner, Radonga, gave us directions and recommendations about restaurants ams tours! He even drove us to the airport! Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back!
• Oktovina (10/5): A pleasant stay in the heart of Kotor Stari Grad - We chose to stay at Studios Belvi during our 9-day Montenegro trip early this month based on the excellent reviews we read on this site. I'm glad we chose Studios Belvi! It's strategically situated in Kotor Stari Grad: it's right across the Kotor Cultural Center Gate that connects the Stari Grad to Kotor's main arterial road and the port promenade, and it's a 2-minute walk to the Gurdic Gate that connects the Stari Grad to the commercial part of the city (there are a supermarket, at least two gas stations, and some great restaurants nearby). Make sure to tell your driver from/to the airport to drop you off/pick you up at the Cultural Center Gate instead of the Main Gate so you won't have to drag your suitcases along the alleyways! Our room was perfect and clean with a great layout: the twin beds were arranged at a proper distance from each other, there were a table and two chairs, an armoire, a good size fridge, an electric stove, and kitchen utensils. The bathroom was very small by the American standards, but it worked out well for us. Our host Radonja was the best host ever! He was very communicative and helpful. He hosted a morning coffee for us on our first day in Kotor, explained the Kotor map to us, and gave us all the useful information about Kotor. He also allowed us to use his parking spot for our rented car for free. On our last night in Kotor, he took us to the best BBQ dinner in town! Thank you, Radonja! I highly recommend Studios Belvi to anyone visiting Kotor.
• Jennifer (10/5): Excellent stay in Old Town - This apartment was great. Convenient location and comfortable, stylish furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedroom has a nice extra seating area, so a single person or couple could have an extended stay quite easily. The owner made some great recommendations for places to see and eat. I would definitely stay here again!
• L. Paul (10/5): Amazing find - right in the Old Town - Lucked out with this place. Right in the middle of the action. Nice rooms and 2 floors down night life, music, history, hikes. Kotor is amazing and this place was right on top of it. Will definitely go back.
• Lucy (10/5): Kotor it Kool - I was greeted by the host (sorry I forgot his cool name), and he walked me through everything i needed to do to have a wonderful stay in Kotor. Sat down with me upon arrival and provided me a map with multiple significant stops, a place out of town to visit, and great restaurant recommendations. We had an exciting thunderstorm my last night which was a treat. Studio has literally everything you need and would comfortably stay 2 people. Location is also perfect - closest to the east side entrance and a 5 - 10 minute walk from the bus station. No stairs as i'd feared until you get to the set to get to the apartment. • Fateme (8/5): - The host was great and the place was good. The toilet was smelly and they had no ameneties. The bar downstairs can be noisy in the nights.
• Robert (10/5): Centrally located with helpful host - This is all you need for a stay in Kotor, well located in the centre of the old town but with the windows closed and air conditioning on it is very quiet. The host is extremely helpful as to what to see and made an excellent recommendation for dinner.
