- Lazar (10/5): Great price, great hotel - Rooms are clean, stuff is very good, location near ferry port.
- Kunal (8/5): - Good location, value for money and well equipped. Pathetic staff at the breakfast location. Didn't seem to care and would only cater to Western looking tourists. I didn't get to eat anything as they would rather sit inside than help.

- Subira (6/5): Suitable for 1 to 2 nights stay before flying out. - We stayed for one night with our children as we were due to fly out the following day. This hotel is ideal for exactly that, a night or two stay before moving on. The rooms were clean and the water was hot. The location was ideal if you want to explore Dar es Salaam and it wasn't too busy outside of the hotel. What is really good with this lodge is that if the room is ready when you arrive they allow you to check in early. Generally you get what you pay for with this lodge and it is a 30 minute taxi drive to the airport. The fans in the two rooms that we had needed some maintenance, when you put them on they look like they are about to fly off. The breakfast was absolutely terrible, the juice looked like it had been there for days, the toaster was broke which meant no toast and the watermelon tasted and looked like it had been there for hours. Unfortunatly we were unable to get breakfast locally. Finally upon arrival we found that there was no power coming from the mains but the lights worked. We thought there was a power-cut and as a result the generator was being used. We believed this was not actually true. If there is a power cut then you would get no electric at all and the generator would not only supply power to the lights. We strongly believe that in-order to save money the generator is used during the day to power lights with everything else being switched off at the fuse-board. The business nearby appeared to have a supply of electric without a generator being used. Something to be aware of. 100% power was provided before nightfall.

- Vivian (7/5): Econo lodge - Convenient location right at the city center. Their lift was too small can barely accommodate 2 people with large bags
- Mwakapasa (8/5): Very good - The room was spacious, well-ventilated, and filled with natural light. The balcony offers a lovely view of the city, and the location is conveniently close to the SGR train station.

- Lee (9/5): Superb -
- Abbas (7/5): Good hotel - Rooms are nice and clean The rooms need to be equipped with refrigerators
- Wright (8/5): Great value for money. - Clean and quiet. A comfortable bed. Allowed for a late checkout. Great location to get business done downtown, but not a madhouse of noise. Light in the bathroom was too dim.

Showers were hot and there was aircon in the room.. Our room had a balcony and views across the City. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The hotel is in a good location for the City and there are plenty of reasonable places to eat especially Mambo'z on the street. There was nothing I disliked

- Ashfak (9/5): will recommend for the price - good size rooms everything
- Banerjee (6/5): Pleasant - There should be lunch & dinner arrangement.on chargeable basis. So all tourists can get food easily. Never go outsidel to take food.
- Jürg (10/5): Great inner city overnighter with great facilities and a good night's sleep. - I had forgotten that breakfast was offered and that was great. Up on the roof terrace with a view of the inner city. The one house crow stole a baked item from my table, but that was a) my fault and b) very entertaining. Google map struggled to get us to the entrance of the Econo Lodge. Maybe Econo Lodge could contact them.
- Priscah (10/5): Exceptional - We liked how welcoming the service providers are, very friendly and helpful. The reception was so good looking. The breakfast. It's so limiting. No sausages, no cereals.. There's no varieties for breakfast but I think they can do better.
- Naarayanan (5/5): Passable - It is okay
- Odoul (1/5): Bad -
- Ernest (8/5): Very good -
- Riaz (7/5): Overall I would rate my stay as ACCEPTABLE, if a few small things can be fixed by the management. - General Stay in the Heart of Daresalam, Close proximity to Ferry Station. Availability of Taxis. Known Location. Pleasant and Helpful Staff. Bathroom Drainage clogged, Very Noisy Aircon. Broken wardrobe. TV not working. Very low ceiling fan
