- hannahn33 (10/5): An exceptional multigenerational family holiday! - We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday at Emerald. We travelled as ten guests aged between 15-80.We loved the island, the accommodation and the delicious food and fun activities. Our multi-generation family group had so much to do! What made it exceptional were the staff members we encountered each and every day. Everyone was so dedicated and friendly, going above and beyond. Our villa concierge, Wisam, was warm, friendly and responsive, always on hand when we needed him. We were impressed by the food and beverage offerings all around the island, especially the amazing gala buffet dinners for Xmas and NYE. Alok and his team are all so talented. Special mention to Jimmy who treated us to his dosa and his special pani puri. Also Om who cooked perfect poached eggs every morning and was always smiling. The restaurant staff across the resort were also exceptional. Special mentions to Nitin, LC, Meraj, Shanoon, Al Han, Arrej, Daniel and Siri. We enjoyed a great Padel tennis session with Filip, the gym and spa, biking round the island, fishing and dolphin trips with Nappe, and diving with Hannah, Fahd and Andrea. Lastly, the housekeeping and grounds teams were so hardworking and kept our villas and the resort spotless. Thank you to them all. Everyone from top management down is to be commended. We’ve never been anywhere like Emerald before and hope very much to return in the future! Thank you so much for giving us the holiday of a lifetime, full of unforgettable family memories.
- Missjetlagged (10/5): The best staff! - The staff here is WONDERFUL! Now I’ve said the most important thing! Our third visit to the Maldives in 1 1/2 years. Same atoll but different resorts. This was the best! The wine list and the food is top notch and can compete with any restaurant! The service is outstanding in every area. (I should not have waited so long to write this review because I honestly forgot the names of the ones that made our stay perfect, such a shame!) We had a water villa with pool and do not regret that. Bathroom was huge! So was the outside area. Aquatic life not very impressive right outside the villa but we found a few places that were great for snorkeling. Too many loud Russians but I guess that’s just something we have to deal with. Island is not too small or too big. Each villa has their own bicycles and makes it easy to get around. This place is beautiful! Can’t wait to go back!
- 990andreanap (10/5): Great family time - We had an amazing family time at Emerald, we were there with our 7 year old son and he had the time of his life. He spent so much time in fun and games at the kids club, he became friends with the whole team. We stayed in a Superior beach villa and it was amazing, only the current in front of the villa was a bit strong. The only house reef was on our side of the island and it was not amazing in comparison to other Maldivian islands but still beautiful, there were a lot of colorful fish and reef sharks, also beautiful corals. Special thanks to our concierge Jasmine who was extremely supportive and accommodating and always smiling and giving positive energy.
- Shitaltpatel (10/5): Amazing! - Wow! Amazing. A family holiday with 2 teens will not be forgotten. At Valena airport, you are greeted by the Emerald Resort staff. The staff are very helpful and take care of the check-in process and the transfer to the sea-plane. After landing at the resort, we were greeted by garlands and flowers a beautiful touch. As well as the The General Manager Mr Rohit, whom we had many conversation with throughout our stay. We then met our villa host, Shafiyu. He was absolutely amazing. We had a tour of the island, He booked/changed times of the restaurants. Any requests were fulfilled quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much! Our villa was cleaned inaccurately by moddy. He was brilliant. We loved the bikes, it kept us active and we were able to get around easily. A few things that will help you pack. 1. No need for shoes as you live in your sliders all day. 2. The resort provide a beach bag 3. In the room there are plugs-in insect repellent. 4. Alarm clock that can connect to Bluetooth to play your playlist 5. The TV has USB connection. The food, drinks were of very good quality, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant chef were always happy to accommodate variations. Jimmy made us a fabulous Maldivian curry, it was so yummy. The only improvement we would suggest is to serve the meat and rice altogether in the teppanyaki and not separately. The spa, gym, Watersports and the dive centre facilities were fantastic. We recommend this resort, and would rebook.
- Sunshine404877 (8/5): Not good enough - Stayed here with friends in October for my birthday. I wanted to visit this resort for last couple of years just out od curiousity why it gets 5 star on tripadvisor all the time. Unfortunately i can say we share that opinion. We stayed 4 days in supeior water villa (which are great, spacious, big pool and probably the only normal access to the reef) and 3 days in regular water villa (which are really not up to the 5* standart). First of all - the architecture of the island, specifically location of the beach near the restaurant with breakfasts - it really lacks proper attention. The is no pool there while that is exactly the place where its supposed to be. Windy water villas make it hard ro swim and enjoy sun and ocean, while at the opposite side near the restaurant everyone is crowded to get not-so-windy expereience. The regular water villas are quite old with woodeb beams supporting the walls separating privacy from the next villas. The food in restaurants that you can book os perfect, no argue, but the breakfasts are somewhat a dissapoitment - feels like the management tried to spread too much over different cuisines without paying enough details for each type. And the transfer back was terrible (i know its not entirely hotels fault, but even information and organization was faulty) and we almost got late for the flight in Male, which never happened in last 30 visits to Maldives. Overall i cant say it was up to expectations.

- danielmI9765SB (10/5): Unforgettable stay - Great resort, great team - We were lucky enough to stay in the Emerald resort in September this year and had a fantastic time. From the very first moment we landed in Malé airport, we were treated amazingly. Our transfer via seaplane to the island with TMA was seamless, and the member of staff from Emerald was really friendly and couldn’t have done enough for us, helping us with luggage, check-in and the lounge. When we arrived in the island we were greeted by Wisham, who was our point of contact for anything that we needed. He really was excellent and was so helpful and friendly. He gave us a tour of the island and made sure we were settled in. He couldn’t have done enough for us throughout the whole holiday, sorting bookings and activities very efficiently and preempting what we needed - he spotted that my wife was sunburnt and had a jar of aloe after-sun in our room within a couple of hours. The island itself is beautiful, very green with plenty of wildlife, in and out of the water. We used the complementary snorkels to explore some of the reefs around the island. The fish were so colourful when the water was clear. There’s so much marine wildlife around the resort too. We were lucky enough to go snorkelling with Manta Rays. They kept their distance from us a bit, but it was a great day out. We saw a couple of small sharks and there is a reef near the beach, which is beautiful. The island itself is not huge, but it can take a bit of time getting from A to B if you don’t use the bikes provided. If needed, the staff will also provide lifts on carts if you ask. Personally, I really enjoyed my morning cycles, which gave me an excuse to eat more at lunch. I especially enjoyed cycling to the gym. It is surprisingly well kitted out, with some good free weights as well as treadmills and exercise bike. There’s also tennis courts, table tennis and a morning yoga class, which were all really fun… although the tennis was a bit tricky with the heat for us. Our villa was probably the nicest place we’ve ever stayed with a fantastic, spacious bathroom and our own private decking and small pool. The fridge was well stocked and topped up every day. Our housekeeping team was led by Naeem, who was a great guy - really friendly and helpful, couldn’t have done enough. The island has several restaurants catering to a lot of different tastes - Asian, South American, European and a buffet restaurant that has themed nights. I can honestly say I didn’t have a single bad meal. My wife has a few special dietary requirements and the team were able to adapt some of her meals to get what she wanted. After a couple of days, they got to know what she wanted and were able to preempt her dietary needs. In particular, would like to call out the excellent service of Jimmy (I think that was his name) - the chef who adjusted my wife’s meals for her, Sheeham - the sommelier who got to know my wife’s taste in wines, Ahmed - One of the Aqua bar staff who was very friendly and brought my wife insect repellent, LC - the maître d’ of some of the restaurants, she was always very warm and friendly. I would also like to thank Samah, Mato, Meraj and Mirah for being really helpful and friendly too, but I think I could easily complement every single member of staff that we had the pleasure of interacting with. We used the spa facilities at the resort. I had the full body massage, which was amazing - probably the best one I’ve ever had. Our spa attendants, Prianna and Maria, were excellent, very skilled and friendly. We travelled over our anniversary and decided to have a private cinema night on the beach. Wisham, our liaison with the resort, was able to organise this for us. I think they can get pretty much any movie, within reason, given enough notice. We watched a film from one of our first dates. They give you headphones and set you up with a comfy bed to sit on the beach and watch. We had our own attendant, Antin, who would bring us drinks and fruit. It was lovely and very romantic, but, I have to say, it was a little pricey, so that was definitely a one one-off treat. Another unusual activity that we did was a lecture on local marine biology that we found extremely interesting. Clara, the resident marine biologist, was really knowledgeable and friendly, and tolerated all of our nerdy questions. She also went on one of our excursions, a dolphin spotting trip, to lend her expertise and answer more daft questions. Honestly, we had such an amazing time at Emerald and we can’t thank the staff enough - Such an amazing team! They work so hard and are so friendly and helpful. We have already started talking about going back.

We have amazing memories and the whole experience from start to finish was incredible, every tiny detail didn’t go un-noticed from your name on the back of the buggy upon arrival and the guided tour of the island before we arrived at our beautiful water villa with pool . THE ROOM : WOW The view, the large bathroom, the mini bar, the cleanliness, we could not fault THE ISLAND: Charming & beautiful SERVICE: By far of the 7 islands we have ever had the privilege of visiting over the years, all the staff are so happy and greet you with a welcome smile and a Good Morning and all address you as if you’re friends FOOD/DRINK: Le Asiatique Teppenyaki both an amazing experience, Beach Grill set on the Sunset Bar beach with a great menu & service. Amazonica.. I wasn’t a huge fan, however let me explain why If you want to go to a South American Restaurant then it should be authentic We felt, the food lacked spice and seasoning. Our waiter asked us for feedback we simply said we found it underwhelming. CHEF JIMMY came to discuss and we understand he’s under immense pressure to get spice levels right to suit all guests at any given time This is a PERSONAL choice and by NO means a reflection of the quality of food. Chef Jimmy arranged to cook for us the following day at breakfast and for evening meal personally and let me tell you the food was INCREDIBLE and I sincerely thank him for doing this not that he needed to at all, we do like spicy food The quality and branding of ALL DRINKS won’t disappoint you at all, there is something for everyone We always like to visit different islands but I genuinely feel this island would be hard to beat! Thankyou to Kesnia (sorry if I spelt that wrong) our island host she was so helpful, especially when I needed the doctor To Loki for making my birthday meal on the beach so special and making our location more private To all of the staff and management well done you are doing an amazing job HIGHLIGHT: we treated ourselves to the cinema on the beach and honestly it was worth every penny for another memory NEGATIVE: I would be totally nit picking but if the main pool is actually ADULT ONLY then please ENFORCE it. It did annoy me at times that kids were in there with huge inflatables But guess parents don’t want to leave the pool to take them to the kids club But the sea is right there and so was the beach

All requests and issues were resolved instantly thanks to our butler John. A huge thank you to him! Room for improvement: 1. The restaurant menus really need photos and portion size information. If you're not familiar with the dishes, the first few times you end up ordering blindly. Please add them, even just digitally via QR code. With today's technology, this is so easy to do! I took a few photos of your wonderful dishes as an example of how this could look — both appetizing and informative. 2. Wi-Fi coverage in the villa and on the beaches is about a 4 out of 5. The connection drops occasionally. Please improve this. Other than that — everything was great. We definitely plan to come back.

We had a very simple and personal renewal of vow ceremony with our 2 children present. We want to express our sincere gratitude to all the many who were involved in taking care of our very private event and ensuring our 10days stay there were rememberable. From the moment we land at Male airport, we were met by the concierge team who arranged our seaplane transfer to the resort. So organised. The General Manager - Mr Rohit personally greeted at the reception upon our arrival at the resort. And he was regularly seen everywhere in the resort talking to visitors and finding out about their stay. Then we have our villa host - Mr Sid. He went above and beyond in every possible way. He was so attentive to all our requirements. From booking our daily meal venues, planning excursions, arranging for buggies, photoshoot, floral arrangements, finding me a makeup and hairstylist (Jasmine), checkout and transfer to the next hotel, etc. He never fail us in anything. Mr Lokesh - our event manager accommodated to our several request and changes to the plans. The weather was great since our arrival but on the day of the anniversary event it rained (of all days) and the event could not take place at the planned time. We were all dressed and ready. However, he was on his toes at all times. The moment the rain subsided he got his team and got the event moving again with no hiccups. We had a beautiful simple event. Chef Vikram entirely made up a special Maldivian menu for our family for our anniversary dinner in a romantically decorated gazebo after learning our different taste and preference of type of food. All the course were thoughtfully prepared with a lot of passion. Unfortunately, my husband had a small injury. There is a 24 hour clinic that is well equipped. Dr and Nurse Sri did daily dressing for my husband and thankfully for them, no infection. The housekeeping team decorated our bed and made flower bubble bath. Everyone is so personal. Best decision in choosing Emerald for our special celebration. We really enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. Well, we planted a coconut tree there so we have reason to return. - 16shubhamh (10/5): The most generous five star resort ! - World class amenities, class location , staff and service so good that they spoil you , you find all other resorts service below average , we have been to this property twice now , total of 11 days , believe me the overall package that is resort gives has no comparison in same rates or rates above this resort . They have three restaurants, le asiatique , amazonica , aqua , aqua being the main restaurant, the buffet all times were great. We also tried their spa , one of our best experience of spa yet too . We were honeymoon then , were given a romantic dinner , spa 60 mins , complimentary Here in emerald you get your own buttler , unlike many other resorts in maldives on the higher end resorts provide them to you , buttler makes your life easy in your vacation, one of the best thing resort can provide with you with . Overall i have been to maldives manytimes but the emerald experience has been the best one yet !

Facilities at the Resort has variety and suits almost every need of the members of our team. Everyone of us enjoyed the facilities and missed the cosy clean and comfortable room. Services at the resort was warm hearty and attentive. All staffs are polite and always wear a smiley face that make you feel like home. Special thanks to our villa host SHAFI who is like a family member to us when we are there. He understands us and always prepare things before we ask for them. When we arrived the resort Shafi is there to welcome us and hand us a very interesting itinerary for our group. Everyone was happy and contented. Shafi almost instantly answered our questions while we are there. Overall it was a wonderful stay and everyone of us did missed the people and the fun there.
- sagarb544 (10/5): Dream Vacation!!! - This was our second trip to Maldives and I am extremely happy with how it went. We booked 4 nights in the beach villa and 3 nights in the water villa. The water villa won our hearts with amazing views and excellent villa. Our stay was unforgettable and mesmerizing. Aqua restaurant was the highlight, specially the Gala Dinner. All staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. I would like to specially thank Chef Pritam for his consideration towards us and he took immense responsibility and care for us and ensured we enjoyed every meal we had if he was around. The gala dinner was amazing vibe and food was great specially the sea food and Tandoor corner. We did miss sunset on our initial few days due to cloudy weather but overall it was a great experience. Our villa host Jien was great as well, she ensured all our requirements were met and bookings made. We requested some adjustments to our bookings and she ensured that everything fit well in our schedule. All other staff were also very kind, like Nitin, Harish, Chef Jimmy, Ahmed… and the list goes on… After coming back from the resort, we could not get over it for quite a few days and were remembering every moment spent there. The house reef is amazing, much better than what other resorts offer in snorkeling trips. We say baby sharks right on sunrise beach itself and swam with them. The photo studio team was very creative and helpful. We did a drone video shoot and were extremely satisfied with the results. The boutique shops had nice variety and were big enough if you wanted to shop. My wife did buy a dress for the shoot and it was nice experience. They arranged welcome champaign and decoration for us and on our anniversary night they made a bubble bath, bottle of prosecco and room decoration along with a cake. It was a great highlight of our stay. Overall the sunset bar was a very nice spot with wide sea views, great bar service at the call of a button and far spread shacks that ensured privacy and peace. They had nice variety of alcoholic beverages and we enjoyed it very much. The crowd here is mostly Russian and European, we were only a couple of Indian guests here but the staff was mostly Indian and they made us feel at home and were very friendly. We met the General Manager couple of times and he was quite courteous and friendly as well. We enjoyed snorkeling on most days on the sunrise beach and always saw nice fishes at just 10 meters from the beach. We went on fishing trip and my wife did catch a red fish but I was unlucky. It was a very memorable experience and I will strongly recommend my friends and family to visit this resort if they plan a Maldives trip. The meals, bicycles, sports zone, greenery, nature walks, DJ nights, all were amazing and we deeply enjoyed everything. There was never a dull moment. We came back but our hearts were still there! Though I loved all bit of it , a couple of improvements can be made which I would like to suggest to the management – the lounge experience was not the best as it was a shared lounge, private lounge experience is always better and more customer centric. The reception is a bit of a downer as that is the first impression. The only other thing we wished could have been better was the buggy service and buggy staff. The buggy service was on call basis and no continous buggy service was available. Last year we stayed at Lux South Ari Atoll and their buggy service and buggy staff was exceptionally amazing. In fact their buggy service is one that we still remember till this date. Apart from these everything was top notch. Kudos to the team for maintaining and managing the property so well!

The overwater villa was absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking ocean views that made every moment feel like a dream. Service and hospitality were exceptional throughout our stay. A special shout-out to our wonderful butler, Jien, who went above and beyond by pre-booking all our restaurant reservations to ensure we got to try the variety of dining options, and assisting with every request so seamlessly. We truly appreciated the thoughtful planning! Another big thank you to Amjey from housekeeping for the immaculate cleaning and attention to detail. Our villa was always spotless and welcoming. And of course, the friendly and hardworking team at Aqua Restaurant — from the chefs to the service staff — who served delicious spreads and made every meal enjoyable with their warm and helpful attitude. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we cannot recommend Emerald Maldives enough. We’ll definitely be back!
- BaBi_BB_NG (10/5): Lovely Place, Lovely People - We have a memorable stay in Emerald Resort for celebrating our anniversary. Facilities are wonderful there, room is clean and tidy. There are a plenty of choices of restaurants, from Asia to South America. What you need to do is to have an extra exercise and workout after have big feasts every day and night. People there are lovely. John Mukhammad, our housekeeper, are nice and professional. He prepared a good schedule for our stay so that we could enjoy our time without missing the best of the resort. We also feel thankful to restaurants’ staff like Nitin, Shazin and Pritan. They all are very nice guys and make you feel home. Even for a man who drives a buggy to bring guests to and from the Villa, we could find him serving wholeheartedly, Let me says thanks to Nappe, hope that we could meet him again.

- Safari16785497808 (10/5): Maldives Paradise- 5* - We returned last week from 9 nights at the Emerald. What a place... we did not want to leave. From our arrival- with flower petals and a welcome drink, to our departure, the stay exceeded every expectation. Our villa host, Shafi, was attentive and helpful for the entire stay, always willing to chat and make sure we got the most out of our trip. He couldn't do enough for us- absolute gent, thank you! The water villa was bigger than expected- huge bedroom, massive bathroom, spacious terrace. It was spotlessly clean, and was looked after every day by Ahmed- thank you! The bikes were a nice touch, great for getting around on the island. We love food and it was one of the reasons we picked the Emerald, and we weren't disappointed. Such a massive choice at Aqua every day, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. The gala dinner was a real treat too- lobster, prawns, and all the cuisines. Fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Alok and his team were great. We need to give a mention to Om- the best eggs at breakfast, and Sam- really enjoyed chatting with you. The sommelier who looked after us the most was Yashi- so knowledgeable, and friendly, you really went above and beyond, thank you. We went to Asiatique twice, the food was that good. Some standout staff were Haikal and Areej, really looked after us there. The teppanyaki was an interesting experience, but I think the menu wasn't quite as good as the main restaurant. The beach grill has a fantastic menu, and a great ambiance right by the beach. we were looked after expertly by Miraa, Suri, and Naveen- thank you! The sunrise bar was a favourite spot in the daytime, superb cocktails made by Manik, Pawan and Indra- thanks guys! We loved the sunset bar. Golden hour cocktails are a must- superb range of drinks. We played plenty of pool, and enjoyed the live band and DJ. Massive shout out to Azmeel who looked after us like a true pro. We really enjoyed chatting with you, and you really do a fantastic job. Thank you! Snorkelling near Aqua is superb , with a vast array of colourful fish, baby reef sharks, and even eagle rays. We did the Manta snorkelling trip, and it was incredible. 40 mins of snorkelling with these huge creatures, a real highlight. We also did the Laambuu reef trip, and saw turtles too. Thanks to all the guys at the dive centre! All in all, it was an exceptional stay, and the staff absolutely go out of their way to make the stay special. They show levels of hospitality rarely seen on other trips. Huge thanks to all of you for making our stay so special. I would 100% recommend Emerald to anyone, and we would definitely come back.

Nida makes the best omelettes, a simple breakfast elevated to something we looked forward to every single morning. Bright, the sommelier, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experiences with his recommendations and knowledge. Laughter was never in short supply thanks to Nitin, whose excellent sense of humour made every interaction memorable. It’s safe to say the dining options are plentiful and the variety of cuisine is to an exceptional standard. Finally, the biggest compliment goes to one of the Head Chefs, Alok, and his team, who went above and beyond by putting together an authentic and absolutely delicious Sri Lankan feast especially for our last lunch. Beautiful beaches, the ocean, sunsets and sunrises, stunning villas — everything was absolutely wonderful. He organized lovely surprises for us, such as champagne by the seaside surrounded by candles, and many others. - Scmlufc (10/5): Quality everywhere, but the people make it special! - We are two days from the end of a 14 day stay at Emerald. We have stayed in a water villa with pool (340). It is hard to write much more than has been said already about the resort. The rooms are fantastic, minibar with red, white, rose wines, soft drinks, chocolate and a variety of nuts and jellybeans. A huge bathroom area , wonderful deck ably looked after by Sanmaan. Our villa host Jien had booked all our restaurant reservations and these are shown in the Emerald app nothing to do. What I do have to praise is the quality of food and service at all restaurants. Chef Alok, Jimmy have gone above and beyond to cook us special meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have engaged with us and made us feel very valued guests. The staff here are exceptionally trained, our thanks to Chef Om and Anjana, the sommeliers Chris and Bright. The bar staff Ahmed, Pawan, Shaikhan, Azmeel. The waiting staff, Sougata(outstanding), Siri,Harish, Meraj,Ashram, Nabee , Giri and Vezo, we are truly privileged to be your guests and thank you all for your service. There is plenty to do on the island, tennis, table tennis, padel, pool, boat trips,spa. A special place with special people!

We spent a wonderful six days there and really enjoyed our stay. The bungalow’s beach felt like a private aquarium lots of fish around the reef, reef sharks and rays swimming nearby :) Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and a very good food selection across the island’s four restaurants. Riding bikes around the island made everything easily accessible and added to the relaxed island vibe. He surprised us with the sweetest little romantic touches – one night he secretly set up a private stargazing session on the beach with chairs, procesco, we saw many shooting stars!!!. Another evening we came back to the villa and there were rose petals everywhere and a bubble bath ready. Total heart-eyes moments. Every day he helped plan the perfect schedule – photo shooting at the best time, personally help to shoot few photos in our room, you name it. Nothing ever felt rushed or touristy; everything was just magical and personal. If we ever come back to the Maldives (and we definitely will), we’re requesting Wisham again 100%. Dude, you’re the real MVP of Emerald Maldives. The food was excellent - really impressed with the standard throughout the resort. There was loads to do - snorkelling, diving, tennis, padel, table tennis, gym, and the list goes on... The bikes each person gets to cycle around the resort is a fantastic idea. Wisham looked after us so well throughout the week - we went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, including arranging a special evening for me to ask my brother to be best man at my wedding next week - it is a lifetime memory. The team across the resort were all fantastic, bar none. While I can't name everyone, I did want to shout out Nitin - one of the most uplifting and positive people I've ever met. Simply put it was absolutely fantastic! The best holiday we have ever had. Why? There are lots of reasons. These included all of the team who so wonderfully welcomed us to the island. Our villa host Aiman was fabulous. So helpful and considerate - he did everything to make our visit the best it could be. Thank you so much Aiman! He was always available if we needed him and he sorted out our itinerary for meals and events. He also went out of his way to ensure that my big birthday in May 2025 was celebrated as if it had happened when we were there. Lots of extra special treats were arranged for me which I found very touching and they were appreciated so much. Our villa was amazing. Staying in one of the superior water villas was the best decision we could have made. It was truly magnificent. We could see both the glorious sunrises and the beautiful sunsets as well as all day sun and we only had to use the pool or take a quick dip in the gorgeous Indian Ocean to cool off. The day bed was a favourite spot to watch the sunrises or chill out after a lovely dinner. The standard of accommodation was second to none - from the beautiful artwork and fantastic shower and comfortable bed to the well stocked mini bar which was restocked every day with snacks and both alcoholic and soft drinks. Nazmul cleaned the villa twice a day for most of our two weeks we were there along with Parvez who assisted on Nazmul’s days off. They were both wonderful and Nazmul decorated both a bubble bath and our bed for us - the latter to wish me a happy birthday - using flora and fauna from the island and shipped in from Male. Thank you so much also! The food and drink offering in all of the restaurants was excellent. Fresh, tasty, spicy and original - some of the best food we have ever tasted. In Aqua, the chef’s were fantastic including the big boss who cooked us a lovely red snapper in a Thai broth just because he had got some in along with some gorgeous bread with garlic, herbs and cheese and two local Maldivian curries on another night and Daniel and Sanjay (more later). The breakfasts were gorgeous, from the smiley chef who prepared poached eggs florentine or royale and the omelette and fried eggs chefs to those that created local specialities such as Mashuni with tuna and Masmirus (spicy). The lunches and dinners were also wonderous with so much choice, tasty and nutritious and washed down with a lovely Sauvignon Blanc or a nice Rose wine poured in copious proportions by the lovely and knowledgeable Sommeliers Yashi, Chris, Bright and the head Sommelier Jeevs- who also provided a fantastic choice of great wines to perfectly match our delicious food on the wine dinner on the beach - it was magical in the night air with pretty lights right by the shore line. The dinners we had at Le Asiatique and Amazonica and the lunches and dinners at the Beach Club Grill were fabulous. Lovely choice and tasty, spicy and fresh food was had at all of the restaurants. The Teppanyaki chef Sanjay was brilliant - a fun evening with a great performance and tasty food was had. The chefs at Amazonico prepared lovely South American food and a beautiful cake to wish me a happy birthday along with them singing happy birthday to me! The rest of the team in the restaurants were fantastic too including Miraa (a favourite even though his favourite football team was not to our choice!!) who looked after us on our wine dinner, to Arsham, LC (Mr David and Mrs Sharon - we loved that!), Shanoon, Neeraj, Areej, Nabee, Samah, Shazin, Azmeel, Muaz and Nazira to name just a small number of those that made the meals so memorable! The buggy drivers were also fantastic - polite and helpful and willing to pick you up and drop you off whenever you needed them - particularly Napee - thank you! The massages we had at the tranquil spa were wonderful too - thank you to the team there too. Those behind the scenes including the gardeners and maintenance team who kept the island gorgeous were also much appreciated. The resort is just magnificent. We have been to three other islands before and always said that whilst lovely we wanted to try other islands to see what else is out there - not so here - we are coming back without any doubt and we cannot wait to be there at some point very soon. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for making our holiday such a wonderful experience.
- Gautamambe (10/5): Maldivian 5 star Luxury, as promised! - We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Emerald Maldives and were extremely happy that we chose this resort! We stayed in a water villa, which was spacious and luxurious. The island has a great reef and we saw several living corals and rare fish such as Jack fish, Surgeon fish, needle fish etc. often snorkeling in front to our own accommodation. I also managed to see several Manta Rays and baby and tiger sharks! All services were excellent and provided with a smile and great hospitality. A shout out for our designated villa host, Ameen, who was very helpful and booked all our dinners, arranged transport within the resort, booked the photography session, and helped with booking transport etc. A special mention also for the general manager - Mr Rohit Chhetri for heading the wonderful team.
- Beverley23 (10/5): Magical Maldives - This hotel really is the Emerald of the Maldives. As it sits watching over the ocean it is a piece of paradise where life stands still and you feel like the only people on the island. From arriving at Velana Airport in Mali where we were met by the the Emerald Representative, to Boarding the seaplane what an experience - the experience just got better. On arrival at the Hotel we were met on the jetty by the General Manager and staff with rose petals and a glass of champagne. We were then escorted to our room in a buggy driven by Sid our Butler who was our go to person during the holiday, and off we went into the magical island that we called home for a week. We had a water bungalow which was amazing - it was well stocked with drinks, nuts, fruit and water. It was kept very clean by our cleaner Ahmed who came twice a day and again well stocked with towels, bath robes, slippers, soaps and all the usual guest essentials. The hotel has thought of everything from beach towels to flipflops, beach bag, mosquito plug and jars of Jelly Beans for the young at heart ha! ha! The food/restaurants - nothing is too much trouble and all the staff are so helpful, we have food allergies which we need to address on holiday and we only have the highest praise for the executive chef and his team who helped us navigate through the food to ensure we had the right things to eat. A massive thank you. Now to the staff - every single member of staff we came across was professional, helpful and polite so hats off to everyone. The staff and management are all so proud of the Emerald Maldives and it shines through in whatever they do. I am not going to write anymore because it will spoil the surprise but our final words and the ones I have used to friends and those who ask - we had a magical holiday - snorkeling, flown in a seaplane, lived in a water villa, eaten too much and basically treated like Royalty. Never really needed to move but we did by touring the island on the bikes provided which caused much fun for everyone!! walking through the nature trail, watched the fruit bats, and sea life which included, sharks, razor fish and turtles and marveled at the amazing flowers. There are so many staff to thank because each and everyone of them made us feel welcome/special and that means you are all a credit to the hotel, and should be very proud of what you do. We look forward to seeing you all again soon we hope - I will give Eric cycling lessons before the next time arrives. Right from our arrival, the warm reception set the tone for a trip that really is unforgettable. The dining experiences were amazing, better than anything we’ve ever enjoyed at a resort before. Every restaurant delivered amazing food, but Asiatique and the Teppanyaki were on a whole different level. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, with endless options of things to try, and we particularly enjoyed the Gala night where everything was delicious and it was a good opportunity to speak to all chefs and staff who are so friendly and welcoming. The Balinese food on this night was lovely, and the chef serving was proud of his local cuisine and great to talk to. During our stay, the head chef made us feel so welcome, and organised two special lunches for us, firstly for us to try traditional Maldivian dishes, and then traditional Sri Lankan dishes. All the food was absolutely fantastic. The ocean around the island is unbelievably clear and snorkelling near the reef was one of the most memorable moments of our holiday. On one of the cloudier days, we used the spa and all 6 of us tried a different massage. The treatments were fantastic and the ladies in the spa made it a lovely and relaxing experience. The resort offers something for everyone, which made it perfect for our family getaway. We were there to celebrate a 50th birthday, and the team made the occasion incredibly special. They went out of their way to make him feel celebrated, with in villa breakfast and drums/ singing to wake him up which meant so much to us! We also want to give a huge thank you to our butler, Wisham. No ask was too much, he was so thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. He really elevated our entire stay. He made everything effortless and added so much magic to our trip—we couldn’t be more grateful. Our room was clean and tidy throughout the day, and our cleaner was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of staff we encountered was great, but a special Thankyou to Wisham, the executive chef, Jimmy at Amazonico, Shazim, Samah, Previne, Yash, and the manager in Asiatique. So many of the staff remembered us and made us feel incredibly welcome. It really felt like coming home! We were very pleased to see that Sid was our butler again and he was always on hand to make our holiday extra special. He arranged Anniversary treats for us and even gave me a flower bouquet! He also arranged a special beach dinner which was amazing. We truly felt like VIPs! We stayed in a Water Villa again which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Waking up to a sea view is incredible. We saw rays/sharks/fish and a heron from our room. We really enjoyed the snorkelling on the house reef and also took a private boat trip to see Manta rays which was such a special experience. Our guides were brilliant and took us to another breath taking reef and we also got to see dolphins swimming right in front of us. We both had wonderful massages in the spa. The food was really good in every restaurant and the selection of wines is vast. The sommeliers are very helpful and always on hand to give a suggestion of which wine to try. The staff are truly what make this resort so special. Attentive, helpful, friendly but not intrusive. What a great team! I am really sorry I cannot remember the names of everyone I would like to mention but a special shout out to Naveen, Yashi, Malik and Azmeel. I really hope I will get the opportunity to return here. We would definitely recommend snorkelling around the reef area—it was one of the highlights of our trip and felt like swimming in an aquarium. We visited to celebrate my dad’s 50th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make the entire trip so memorable and special. They especially made a huge fuss of him on his birthday, which meant the world to us. A very special mention must go to our butler, Wisham, who truly made the trip for us. - 755stellal (10/5): A most memorable vacation at Emerald Maldives! - At the Velana Airport waiting to fly back home, but I thought I would write this review while things are fresh on my mind. My sister and I had a most wonderful time at the Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa the past 5 days! We were a bit apprehensive before our trip: the weather forecast showed rain the entire week; my sister has hypertension and gets shortness of breath easily when the air is stuffy, so we were concerned about the seaplane ride also. The seaplane ride turned out to be quite manageable, and the view and the novelty of the experience more than compensated for the minor discomfort caused by the noise and lack of air con. And the weather was just fine - we had some sun, some clouds and wind, and some rain showers every single day. I don't think we can handle the scorching sun the whole time, so this worked out perfectly for us. Now we know why everyone has been saying don't trust the weather forecast. Services at the resort were outstanding. Our amazing host, John, greeted us upon arrival and took care of us throughout our stay. He was always only a WhatsApp message away. He helped us make and change reservations for meals, excursions, classes, etc. and was always prompt, resourceful and cheerful in answering our questions and requests. Servers at restaurants were also friendly and helpful, too. A lovely resort!

We would like to thank all the staff, specially Shafiu, who was extremely helpful all the time and made sure we enjoyed everything the resort had to offer! All the restaurants were amazing, and they made our honeymoon even more special with a very romantic dinner at the beach in our last night there! The island is so beautiful and lovely, the nature there is well preserved! We could see a lot of fishes with the snorkel equipment (thanks to the diving center staff that helped us setting the equipment up!), we saw baby sharks, mantas and dolphins! So incredible! The room and everything was so clean, we would like to thank all the cleaning staff for that! We will definitely comeback to the resort, all the memories we have from there are spectacular!
- S3508MBss (10/5): Had a great time - We stayed in this hotel for a week for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. The team is doing an excellent job to make everything all right for you with no exception. For example, my wife doesn’t like Asian food very much. We left our table early in the Asian restaurant to find some food for her in other restaurants, and every other restaurant’s staff was already alerted to make sure she would have something she likes. We were just like two spoiled kids from the moment we landed at Velana Airport until we left the country. Super clean rooms, buggies to everywhere, lovely snorkeling beaches, many restaurants and bars, housekeeping services, and a minibar full of nice drinks and nuts. We thank all of the hotel staff, starting from our villa host Visham to bartender Ahmed, as well as all the managers, restaurant hostesses, and waiters.

They constantly went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. The villa and island is beautiful, the amenities are great and there were lots of options for food and drink. Seaplane transfer: Very efficient and well organised with greeting on arrival and taken to the seperate seaplane terminal. Has a lounge area for drinks and snacks so very relaxing Villa: Over water villa. Huge room (and equally as big bathroom). Has everything you would need for a stay. Mini bar refilled daily (no spirits though). Managed to swim on a couple of occasions. Even spotted eagle ray and reef sharks. Twice daily housekeeping services and always immaculate House reef/activities: Some activity but limited reef and fish. Suggest excursion instead. We tried kayaking which was a fun included activity. Service: The service is without doubt the standout going over and beyond and constantly exceeding expectations with gestures and kind hospitality. Particular shoutout to our villa host - Wisham. He made our stay very memorable, he attended to all our needs from excursion bookings to information about the Maldives to buggy services. Wisham made sure every aspect of our stay was taken care of. He clearly enjoys his job and gave impeccable service. All the staff spoke English and everyone we came across was nice and friendly Excursions: We went on the Lambhru and also Turtle Snorkelling Tour. Whilst the first had lots of reefs and was an easy swim with shallow reefs in parts, we particularly enjoyed the latter and saw a number of turtles and plenty of fish. Food: Breakfast - Lots of options at Aqua but found it repetitive with limited changes. However, we were looked after well with some options by request only when we needed these. Lunch - Enjoyed Beach Club Grill with freshly cooked options and nice views. Dinner - Asiatique - Plenty of options. Did not bother with the teppanyaki as it is more the experience than food but try it if this is a new concept to you. Amazonica - Great meat/fish off the grill. Gala night - The prawns and lobster were exceptional. We were served by Miraj a couple of times and had enjoyable chats with. Note that none of the restaurants had air con, all outside in open air except for an air con small room in Aqua. We would have preferred more air con options. Expect to be walking on a lot of sand too so leave the heels at home. Overall, very good quality food throughout the stay Bar/drinks: Great to have a pre dinner drink at the sunset bar. One brand of champagne is in the all inclusive. Drinks beach service was hit and miss, buzzer did not work ay the sunrise bar area. Did not see people bringing drinks back from the bar to the villa. Drinks menu is extensive and they can make many options off the menu top. There is no entertainment after dinner and any entertainment is a couple of (very good) singers, which suited us fine as we prefer a quieter resort Getting around: There are bikes at each villa (and other options for those that cannot bike). Buggy service via reception can be slow, much quicker via villa host. Did find things quite far away at times and needed a bit of planning. Complimentary photoshoot: We had the 30 min photoshoot. Despite being super hot, it was totally worth it and we opted for one of the packages as the photos came out stunning Guests: We found the resort ample sized so never any issue in getting a lounger or table reservations. Guests mainly Russians, Chinese and British. Shops: There are a few shops for souvenirs and clothing. Some actually cheaper in the store than the airport but the airport also has plenty of options Conclusion: Without doubt we would recommend this resort to anyone visiting the Maldives. It is truly a very special place.
- mikeaA4665UH (10/5): Unforgettable Stay at Emirald Maldives - We recently stayed at Emerald Maldives and it was truly one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. The entire island is stunning — crystal-clear water surrounds every corner, not just certain spots like many other resorts. The island is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and picture-perfect from every angle. The reef infront of Aqua restaurant is not big but was nice enough as we saw a reef shark and many fishes and accessible from the beach. We also were offered a transit villa before our departure because we had a toddler and this made us more relaxed until the last minute. The food was good and we never felt bored like other resorts, we were eating in different places nearly daily and food was top quality. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the people. Every single member of the team was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. A special mention to the General Manager, Mr. Rohitt, who checked on us every day throughout our stay and even came personally to say goodbye before we boarded the seaplane. His humility and attention to detail set the tone for the whole resort. We also want to thank the amazing staff who made our trip so memorable: Ksenia our amazing butler who always answered so quickly and very thoughtful and proactive can’t thank her enough. The Dr. on the island as we needed some medication which was provided free of charge. Other staff were wonderful: Arwen (Aqua) Nareesh (Aqua) Nitin (Aqua) Ameen and Sagor (Buggy) my toddler loved buggies and they were taking him around on a tour) Sougata (Aqua) Areej (Aqua) Wasim (who assisted us during departure) Faraaz (Didn’t leave us until we put the luggage in the check in counter) Naveen (Grill Restaurant and Amazonica) Rishwan (Housekeeping kept our room clean and stocked twice a day. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, and they didn’t make you feel that they are expecting anything in return. The service was consistently excellent across the island. This was our 5th trip to Maldives and usually we never come back to the same resort or even bother to write a review, but honestly with Emerald it’s hard not to come back.

Once again, from the moment, you step out of the seaplane, you are enveloped by the specialness that is Emerald. All the staff work extremely hard with a smile simply cannot fault anyone. Coming back truly felt like returning to a place that already feels like home — calm, beautiful, and perfectly managed. Special Thanks Our butler Wisham deserves the highest praise. He handled everything quickly and efficiently — spa bookings, restaurant reservations, and even arranging a villa change when the first one didn’t suit us. His professionalism and speed made our stay incredibly comfortable. Our favorite waiter Areej made every breakfast special. He brought me fresh strawberries and blueberries every morning — a small gesture, but it showed so much care and attention. Chef Alok also made a huge difference in our stay. He truly puts his heart into elevating the dining experience across all the restaurants on the island. If something wasn’t perfect, he immediately adjusted it and made sure every guest left happy. I personally love sashimi, and he always brought me the freshest pieces — it was a highlight every single day. Thank you, Chef. Overall Experience We also really appreciated the activities and entertainment. The sunset parties are always fun, the gala dinner is beautifully organized, and the lunches with live music create such a warm, lively atmosphere. It keeps the island from ever feeling boring — a big thank you to the hotel management for that. If there’s anything to fine-tune, it would be the live band. Two years ago we personally enjoyed their style a bit more, but this isn’t a disadvantage — just a small note from our previous visit. We genuinely love this resort, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.

When I first knew about the Maldives when I was a child, I yearned for it very much. I took this place as the first stop when I planned my honeymoon. I was worried that poor English would affect the experience, but my housekeeper friend Ameen patiently communicated with us and generously provided us with 24-hour service. I can tell you that this is the perfect place. From the moment you arrive at the airport, an Emerald representative is waiting to take your luggage and transfer you to a hotel shuttle bus to the seaplane boarding area. The shuttle provides water, Wi-Fi, and other amenities. While you wait for your seaplane, another Emerald representative takes you to a beautiful VIP lounge with a variety of food, showers, and the best view of the seaplanes. Upon arrival and disembarking, you're greeted with flowers, leis, and the staff standing in perfect formation. If you arrive in the morning, and depending on availability, your room is assigned immediately, and you don't have to wait until 3:00 PM for check-in like at other hotels. At this resort, the service was attentive, professional, and of the highest quality at all times. We were offered a comprehensive vacation experience with comfortable facilities, all areas well-equipped, spacious, beautiful rooms, and excellent cleanliness. It boasts various amenities, including private and shared pools, tennis and paddle tennis courts, a gym, a spa, themed restaurants, five shops, a doctor, a café, and other facilities, all well-maintained. The green areas, beach, and pathways are also very well cared for. It also offered a wide range of services and recreational activities, including both paid and free water sports, as well as various tours, including scuba diving. The cuisine was varied and excellent: it has five restaurants offering everything from gourmet options to casual dining and buffets. The variety of fruits, dishes, and the quality of the food are particularly noteworthy. The presentation and flavor are superb; each chef ensures your dish is visually perfect and tastes excellent, a result of careful staff selection, quality facilities, and carefully chosen ingredients. Mr. Richi, the Food & Beverage Manager, does a fantastic job ensuring every aspect is perfect, along with the entire Food & Beverage team. If I could name them all, they all perform their duties flawlessly, respectfully, with dedication, effort, and care. The rooms are of high quality: They offer well-equipped accommodations, air conditioning in the bathroom and bedroom, internet access throughout the island, a TV with multiple channels, various lighting options, perfectly ironed and clean linens, freshly fragrant pool and bath towels, a private pool, lush vegetation, outdoor showers, beach chairs, direct beach access, and breathtaking views of the Maldivian sea from the rooms. The beds are very comfortable and high-quality, with luxurious furnishings and modern amenities, and a minibar stocked with chocolates, drinks, wines, beers, juices, and a wide variety of tea and coffee. It's worth noting that Adhil room cleaning was always extremely thorough and impeccable. The bathroom, bedroom, bed, pool, and every area of the villa were sparkling clean. He was very respectful and waited until we were ready to have dinner before performing the thorough nightly cleaning. Luxurious Bathrooms: The bathrooms are spotless, well-lit, and equipped with high-end fixtures and numerous amenities. Attentive Staff: The staff throughout the hotel is friendly, professional, attentive, and always ready to efficiently and quickly resolve guests' needs and problems. Sometimes we wanted something special that wasn't on the menu, and the chefs made it appear in seconds. Butler Service: We were assigned Mr. Wisham, whose service was highly personalized, efficient, and attentive. He always made us feel welcome. For any problem or need, he appeared within seconds to find a solution. He accompanied us to restaurants in his car, even at 9:00 PM, and was available 24 hours a day, even on his day off. It offered us happy and unique moments that will undoubtedly be many special memories forever. Mr. Wisham adapted to writing to us in our language, Spanish, on WhatsApp chats. He is proactive, has excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. He anticipated our needs and handled every question and issue professionally. He offered personalized service, from luggage management to organizing special events. He was very meticulous and paid attention to every detail to ensure a flawless experience every day. His communication and empathy were efficient with us, as we are very demanding guests with extensive knowledge of luxury hotels. His organization and management skills were outstanding; he handled multiple tasks for us, from booking restaurants to supervising and booking experiences. His ability to resolve comments and complaints was professional, always ensuring a quick and satisfactory resolution. Regarding his tasks and responsibilities, he was a great personal assistant. He helped us with our luggage, managed the laundry, prepared our baths, delivered snacks, ran errands at the shops, carried our snorkeling equipment, accompanied us to the doctor, restaurants, and on excursions around the island, among other things. He had a broad general knowledge and culture, which allowed him to provide excellent service and clear answers to our questions. His personal presentation was excellent. - lyndastewart2023 (10/5): Incredible holiday - best ever. - My husband and I went to Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa last year - we returned this year bringing our 2 sons. We think the Resort is stunning. We stayed in water villas and they were incredible - spacious, clean with views of the ocean. Just idyllic. All we could hear from our villas was the gentle lap of the waves. Jamel kept our villa to a high standard - nothing too much. The service we received during our stay was excellent. Wisham greeted us on our arrival and did so much to make our stay memorable. He arranged an evening we will all remember. One of our sons is getting married next year and he wanted to ask his brother to be best man and we asked Wisham for any ideas - he went above and beyond and it a night we will always hold close to our hearts. I will post a photo of the beach celebration and the beautiful carved surf board - even carved our a turtle on the stand - so thoughtful and alot of work. He arranged a table on the water's edge where we enjoyed a celebratory dinner. He is a credit to the Resort. All the staff were just amazing - professional, proud of their work. They were always smiling and happy to cater to whatever we asked for - nothing too much trouble. We enjoyed their company so much - what a team - but would love to mention a few names - although everyone deserves to have their name in this review, it would be very long! Niten, Manik, Shivum, Yashi, Meraj, Naresh, Sougata, Alok and Pritan and so many that left a touch on our heart. The Sommeliers are so knowledgeable and we enjoyed many wines. We had a wine tasting on the beach with Shivum - another unforgettable memory. There is so much to do there, our boys never stopped - Padel, Tennis, Table Tennis, gym, snorkeling, spa, yoga, diving and boat trips to see dolphins, turtles, manta rays. We did a private excursion - we went to a sandbank that was unbelievably beautiful, then snorkelled with Manta Rays and went to a stunning reef teaming with coloured fish and saw a couple of turtles. The sea plane was fantastic too. Without doubt my best holiday ever and I hope we can visit again.

It was everything I expedited and more. The resort is so clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Jasmine, our villa host was an asset to the resort and helped us during our stay. She was friendly, smiley and a godsend. From the welcome on arrival to the wave goodbye the staff everywhere were a solid 10/10. Always happy to chat and always with a smiler on their faces. We ate in every restaurant. Food and drink were good. Visited the spa for a facial and head massage. Both were excellent. Hoping to come back next year and make it 3 in a row. I am writing this reviews suffering from the holiday blues!
- reneehF5881WY (10/5): Romantic, refreshing and once in a lifetime views - Our trip was nothing short of perfection. When we arrived, they greeted us with champagne and pick you up in a golf cart and immediately take care of your luggage and take you right to your room. Our villa host, Wisham —was beyond amazing. Wisham was always attentive, extremely friendly, and so quick to respond to every request — no matter the time of day or night! He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made every moment seamless. He pre-planned all of our dinners so we never had to worry about reservations which was such a huge relief! On our last night, he surprised us with a romantic bench on the beach and champagne. Our housekeeper, Nazmul, also deserves a special shout out. He kept our overwater villa spotless and well stocked each day. Every time we returned to our room, it felt so fresh and clean. He made sure to stock everything we were using and even give us extra snickers bars, which were amazing and so different from the American snickers. On our last night, he decorated our bed and ran a hot bath for us before we settled in. We had an amazing dive specialist, Saiff. We got to swim with several manta rays up close and personal, turtles, and countless tropical fish, as well as a visit to a private island where we got to explore and found several baby birds that had just hatched! The private jet ski excursion to snorkel is definitely the way to go rather than a group tour- definitely recommend!! We can't say enough about the Spa as well, we visited 4 times during our stay and each massage was amazing, however their signature Emerald massage is to die for! It was the best massage we had ever had. Emerald Maldives is a breathtaking resort — unbelievable turquoise views, luxurious villas, and the best service we have ever had. The island has the feel of your own very private island and the staff makes you feel as if you're the only people there. We also didn't really need to spend any money at all if we hadn't chosen to do the spa multiple times and the private jet ski tours...all well worth it though!! Thank you, Wisham, Nazmul, and Saiff, for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to return to this paradise, we will be back!!

Whether it was our Villa Host Wisham, our housekeeper Nazmul, our wonderful excursion guide Saiff, or every single person we interacted with on the restaurant staff, everyone demonstrated genuine hospitality. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, but it’s the people who really make it stand out. We left feeling well cared for and would gladly return.
- ravandamyg (10/5): Amazing honeymoon! - Incredible trip for our honeymoon! We are just back from our trip to Emerald and missing it already. Everything from the moment we landed to departure was truly exceptional. The rooms are stunning and really well maintained, food delicious and an incredible selection of drinks and wine as well. What made it for us was the service and level of attention to detail from the staff. We have to give particular thanks to Rohit, Alok, KD, Pritam, Nappe who all went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon was incredible. Our butler, Sid, deserves a mention on his own as well because of the level of incredible service he provided us all week. Sid was amazing at ensuring we had everything we needed and made our experience. We also highly recommend the spa and the fishing trip excursion as they were great. In terms of restaurants the beach grill at lunch we highly recommend the seafood risotto, our favourite restaurant in the evening was the beach grill and asiatique. The gala dinner was great fun and some amazing food. We enjoyed a Padel lesson as well which was really enjoyable and the coach was incredibly skilled We will definitely be returning, thank you to everyone at Emerald

Our butler Kristina was amazing, she cares a lot about our vacation and did everything for us. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the kids club.
- AsyaKhr (10/5): Amazing family trip - great dive shop and outstanding kids club - We absolutely loved our family trip to this island. Every request was not too much trouble. The dive shop on site provided some great scuba experiences with Andrea and Hannah, loved seeing all the sharks and the fish and be amongst it. It was not too busy with diving so I got a Rolls Royce experience of going out on my own with the instructor. Absolute dream come true to dive there again. Thank you Andrea and Hannah and the crew of the boat I called “Jason Mámoa”. We have also done a Manta snorkel and that was amazing, we were very lucky to find some. The kids throughly enjoyed their newly found freedom on the island and literally ran to the kids club every morning from Aqua restaurant. The activities were plenty here and the attention they got was second to none. The staff were amazing in the kids club - I really would like to thank all - Rish, Jool, Toty, Nau and Saha. I need a kids club like this next to my house in Australia :) They participated in Halloween, daily activities, henna tattoos, made picture frames, body scrubs and the list just goes on. My kids made some good friends with one of the Russian boys and we will be keeping in touch with him. Some days I went there with my daughter to play with her and soak up some special moments. We also enjoyed riding bikes everywhere and not wearing shoes for a week. My daughter rode a bike here for the first time, it will forever be special. We have also used the gym a lot, the equipment selection was really good. Very special trip to celebrate my birthday with the family.
- 19821985 (10/5): Amazing Honeymoon and 1st trip to the Maldives - Emerald you made our Honeymoon truly special from the moment we arrived by seaplane, your warm welcome was just the start of an incredible stay. Sid our butler (our Genie in the lamp) couldn't do enough for us... all our wishes granted, anything we asked for he made it happen, booking changes, he also organised an amazing couples massage for our honeymoon, along with a special dinner on the beach in front of Aqua restaurant-stunning, champagne and a cake sent to our room on our Anniversary. Our water villa with pool was stunning room 328, the bathroom was huge and of high quality with lovely L'Occitane products, our room attendant Cisse was brilliant he cleaned twice daily always plenty of fresh bathroom and pool towels. He did a very detailed flower display on our bed on our Anniversary and on the last night a very personalised one for our son's who are huge football fans (if you read this Cisse THANKYOU we were blown away sorry we didn't get to thank you in person before we left) The Island is very well maintained and the staff work incredibly hard, the beaches are powder white and cleaned daily along with gardeners cutting back and cleaning paths. All the bar and restaurant staff are extremely attentive and are always on hand to offer drinks etc, a few names who made our holiday very special were: The sommeliers Chris, Jeeves and Yashi (thankyou for helping organise the underwater wine experience) and recommending different wine pairings in the restaurants, Miraa, Azmeel, Sam and another waiter sorry i didn't get his name (who organised for my son to play football with them and to KD always present and making sure the guests were happy-Thankyou for the floating breakfast, wine & beach table. Gala night, Le Asiatique, Beach grill for lunch and Aqua restaurant were our favourite's for food, lots of choice and good quality, the chef made me a Dosa at breakfast one morning (another example of going above and beyond) the extensive wine list great with good quality wines. The only thing we would have liked to have tried but couldn't was the water sports paddle boarding etc the sea was too rough....maybe next time :) we took a risk with October as it was coming towards to end of the monsoon season, glad we did the weather was really good, yes it was windy but sunny for most of the 13 days, only 1.5-2 days of cloud/rain. Special shout out to our butler Sid - no ask was too big or too small and was super responsive and to Sougata - in the beach grill - who was delightfully polite and ensured every meal was perfect. Boat trip to see mantas and turtles was incredible - the hundreds of spinner dolphins were an unexpected bonus. It’s absolutely paradise here and every single staff member contributes to that. Whatever you dreamt the Maldives would be like this was Fabulous from the minute we stepped off Sea Plane. A Buggy with our name on it, our own Butler and a luxury Pad which was the best I’ve ever stayed in. The food is Excellent and staff are very accommodating - being lazy we took the free buggy rides everywhere. The extra special surprise was we didn’t have to pay for any medicines .. this is really too good to be true. The gym is high end and there are plenty of racquet and bat sports. The beaches are a paradise. Nothing was too much for the staff and management and this island is brilliant in every way. There are no tricks .. you can enjoy your minibar without any worry of extra costs. You get your bike and getting everywhere is easy. Snorkelling and Jet skiing highly recommended. The perfect holiday.

Miss Jasmine and Mr. Arusham contacted me promptly and returned my passport to me via seaplane before my return flight. - 628jingyil (10/5): My trip to Maldives with my daughter in Emerald - This trip with my daughter was very memorable. Almost everyone on the island could call my daughter's and my name. The service was also excellent. However, I was not very satisfied with the Chinese butler Jien at the beginning. He was rather rough in his work. I mentioned it to the manager casually and he immediately changed our butler to Sid for us. Sid's service was very considerate and meticulous. They promptly delivered the seasickness medication to us. In particular, I would like to commend the diving instructor Nappe who accompanied us on the snorkeling trip. Since we were the first time trying snorkeling, he carefully protected our safety while also bravely allowing my daughter to try to break free from the life jacket. Throughout the entire process, he was extremely attentive to ensuring our safety. My first trip to Maldives was with Emerald and I was extremely satisfied. I can't wait to come again next time.

And special thanks to Mr. Shamil, who made our checkout day so easy by letting us stay in the room longer — really appreciated that! The snorkeling and dolphin tour were just magical — totally worth it and something I’d recommend to anyone. Plus, right in front of our Beach Villa, there were so many fish, which made it extra fun. The food was also great, with lots of variety, and there are four different restaurants to choose from, so we never got bored. We stayed in a superior water villa and it was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The staff here really set the hotel apart from other places: Wisham, our villa host, was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always available to help with questions at all times of the day and night! Siri at the beach grill was always welcoming and had an incredible memory for names and preferences. Vikas looked after us during the gala dinner and our anniversary dinner on the beach the following night. Both times we had an amazing time, and it was so special to eat at such a beautifully decorated table so close to the sea. Nazmul kept our villa looking spotless, and left us wonderful decorative touches on our anniversary and last night. We really appreciated the food and beverage manager arranging such a nice table for us at the gala dinner. We consistently felt that the staff would go the extra mile to make our experience special, and nothing was too much trouble. We went on the lucky dolphin trip and we were fortunate enough to see an amazing number of dolphins close up. We also really enjoyed Indian head massages at the spa. The sunset bar had delicious drinks and an amazing view, and the food at Asiatique was especially delicious.

- Katie (10/5): - Very nice resort with a friendly, accommodating staff who go above and beyond. Their dive program is handled with the utmost professionalism and I felt safe diving with them. The villas are kept clean and fresh every morning and with a turn down service at night. Several restaurants are on site, as well as the buffet. The resort is in very good condition. Bicycles are included with each villa which makes getting around very easy. Each villa has a villa host who is very helpful. Everything is scheduled via an app which made it super easy to book dinner and spa reservations. Highly recommend!
