• Eirinaios (8/5): Μέτρια εξυπηρέτηση - Η περιοχή πολύ ασφαλής και κεντρική με ωραία εμπορικά. Οι χώροι του πρωινού και της πισίνας ήταν καθαροί. Η πισίνα είχε πολύ ωραία θέα. Τα προϊόντα του μπάνιου παρά πολύ καλά. Το προσωπικό της καθαριότητας ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Το προσωπικό της υποδοχής δεν ήταν πολύ πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει. Έφτασαν στο σημείο να μας πουν ότι όλο το ξενοδοχείο δεν έχει ψαλίδι! Όταν φτάσαμε, παρόλο που κλείσαμε μια παραπάνω βραδιά έπειτα από συνεννόηση μαζί τους, το δωμάτιο δεν ήταν έτοιμο. Μας έβαλαν σε ένα δωμάτιο που δεν είχε ζεστό νερό, δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα καθαρό, κάποιες πρίζες δεν δούλευαν κλπ. Φαινόταν πως παρόλο που είχαν 15 ώρες να προετοιμαστούν δεν το έκαναν. Τα διόρθωσαν όλα αλλά έπρεπε να περιμένουμε άλλη μια μέρα να το κάνουν! Το πρωινό μέτριο με λίγες ευρωπαϊκές επιλογές.

• Andras (5/5): Expected hot water at least - The hotel itself is nice and well-kept, well-staffed, and located in a safe area. The breakfast has a good selection of food, a bar available 24/7, a good view from the room and from the rooftop. Wifi speed and coverage are also pretty good. The hotel looks nice and very colourful. The shopping mall/groceries are on the same street. Staff was friendly and helpful. We barely had any hot water for a shower. Evenings were ok for a few days, but later just lukewarm, no hot water in the mornings or overnight at all. Reported to the staff, they did something, but it was a temporary fix for one day. Our room door did not shut itself if it was let go, so we found our door open twice when we returned to the hotel, left open by the cleaning staff. The quality was good at the beginning; we had a really nice coffee, Spring Valley brand, which was later replaced with something of low quality for the same price. When asked, the bar staff said it was the same (and they had a good laugh), even though we could see the coffee came from a yellow bag, which was not Spring Valley. The same goes for Dawa, on one day they served something that resembled battery acid, which was not drinkable at all. We complained, and they asked if we wanted more ginger in it; even so, I stated it was full of lime/lemon juice. Only after we decided to leave did they offer to replace it, which was too late; we paid for nothing. Once we did not have any towels. I'm easy-going and did not expect luxury, but I had to contact reception almost every day for something.

Fridge and microwave a plus! Breakfast was so so...it was edible. Service the elevators to ensure they're stopping on every floor. I stayed on 9 and had to continuously walk to the Service elevator because the main one didn't stop on my floor.. The glass elevator didn't work the whole stay.

• Jana.Maria (10/5): Nice Hotel in Westlands - Kingfisher is a beautiful upscale hotel in a safe area, I especially enjoyed the rooftop pool. There's two big shopping malls within walking distance, one literally just up the street, and it's not far from the national museum either. You get free water and amenities. I was solo traveling and it was the perfect place to spend a day in Nairobi before safari. Some noise at night and it's on the more pricey end of Nairobi Hotels, however you get a comfortable high end experience so the value for money is fine.

• Onur (6/5): - First of all, the location is great. It is in the middle of the Westlands and you can go to many places like malls, cafes and restaurants by walk. The hotel itself is quite good with the restaurant/bar on the second floor, rooftop pool and good sitting places on the rooftop in the evenings where there is not much to do in Nairobi. The staff was super kind. Also, the lady in the reception who is arranging the excursions (Christine) helped us to get one of the very best experiences with the tour to Crescent Island. It was great and the tour guide Jose was one of the best. The only thing that disturbed us so much during our stay was the NOISE, and it is such an important thing in Nairobi where you wake up very early to go to safaris. All the noise from hotel loby comes directly to the rooms, and unfortunately the staff is not doing a good job to keep people quiet. On our last night there was a Spanish group of students who has been extremely loud at 4am in the night, at the end we had to go down and argue with the people, because the hotel staff did nothing to stop them. Of course it is not something you would want to do in your vacation. So, despite all positive things, I don't think we will select this hotel ever again.

A localização é positiva está já dois minutos d rum mall, e uma área tranquila para caminhar a pé O hotel parece todo novo , a conservação dos quartos e ótima, cama confortável, roupas de cama e lençóis limpos . O mais desconfortante de fato é o barulho, atenderam parcialmente meu pedido em me deixar em um quarto mais distante do térreo , fiquei no quarto andar, música alta as 3 da manhã , não sei de onde vinha, mas de fato a acústica é muito ruim, as portas não fecham por si automaticamente ao puxar, com isso muitos hóspedes as batem com força causando barulhos em qualquer hora do dia . O valor do café da manhã é muito alto, overprice para o que é oferecido, a parte de pães (os corassaints em meu primeiro dia de hospedagem estavam duros e secos) não pareciam pães frescos , o café expresso é cobrado à parte mesmo o valor do café da manhã já sendo alto, sugiro irem no mall a partir das 9/10 e utilizarem as cafeterias de lá ..
• Uswald (10/5): - It was a pristine hotel set amidst the busy streets of Westlands, Nairobi. The staff were courteous and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was amazing, with an ample selection of food to choose from. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. As a small suggestion for improvement, a bit more attention to detail in cleaning the room corners and under the bed would be appreciated, as there was some light dust during our visit. While this is not related to the hotel itself, we would also advise fellow travelers to remain mindful of their surroundings when walking around the area. We had a minor incident on our first day while returning from a nearby mall, so it’s always best to stay alert.

Besonders das Restaurant, Gym, Pool hat und beeindruckt. - Tolle Lage, super Frühstück, nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer, auf unsere Wünsche wurde eingegangen, wir haben das Restaurant geliebt! Das Personal ist nicht pro aktiv, so mussten wir jeden Morgen beim Frühstücken nach Kaffee fragen und auch ziemlich lange warten, bis dieser gebracht wurde. Das hat uns manchmal gewundert, da es wirklich sehr viel Personal, für vergleichbare wenige Gäste gab.

• Megan (6/5): Unfortunate Inconvenience - During the one night stay (originally meant to be two) the hotel itself was lovely. Clean, quiet and with great facilities. I do wish we got to spend more time at the hotel! Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were informed that our room was unavailable due to a burst pipe. While we completely understand that unexpected maintenance issues can occur, we were relocated to a hotel down the road and advised that we would be compensated for the first night. The alternative accommodation was quite disappointing. Our room was located at street level, with a bathroom window facing directly onto the street and no curtain for privacy. The hotel itself appeared to cater to large groups, and there were teenagers staying nearby who were shouting outside our door late into the night, making it difficult to rest. Despite this, we were willing to accept the inconvenience given the assurance of compensation. On the second night, when we were finally moved back to our original hotel, my partner and I were allocated a room with two single beds rather than one bed as booked. Again, we chose not to raise this at the time, assuming the promised compensation would address the inconvenience. To add to the frustration, when we checked out we were informed that we had an outstanding balance of approximately $100 USD for laundry services and food ordered by the pool (which we were under the impression would form part of the compensation originally mentioned). By that stage, the overall experience had been so disappointing that we did not feel it was worth disputing. Overall, what began as an understandable maintenance issue was unfortunately handled in a way that resulted in a very disappointing stay.
