• JOSE LUIS (10/5): - El hostal está muy bien arreglado. La habitación es bonita, con bonitas vistas (al menos la nuestra, no sé las demás) y muy cómoda (incluida la cama). El baño con todos los detalles (hasta te ponen una esponja). Sobre todo lo que más nos ha gustado es la ubicación, muy cerca de la plaza y en una calle de las que hay que visitar y especialmente la limpieza. Está limpísimo. Además es fácil de encontrar porque hay indicaciones claras para encontrarlo. Todo muy bien la verdad.

Parken ist kostenlos möglich, auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz ca. 7 Gehminuten entfernt (es geht vom Parkplatz über Kopfsteinpflaster ziemlich bergab und bergauf zum Hostal). Der Empfang war "kompakt" - ein Reiseführer mit dem Aufkleber für Zimmernummer und Code. Das Zimmer selbst ist sehr klein, verfügt aber über Klimaanlage und sogar einen Mini Kühlschrank. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Betten bequem. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut, aber leider recht laut, so dass man nachts am besten Ohrstöpsel nutzt. Fazit: wer in Guadalupe nach einem soliden Hostal mit einem guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

• Byron (10/5): - This is the second time I have stayed here, great deal. It is less than a minute from the monastery/main plaza of Guadalupe. Rooms are basic but not cramped, and amenities include fluffy towels, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, wall table perfect for laptop typing, hair dryer, soap etc, and both times I have had good views: town and mountains last June, and this time the monastery. I would certainly stay here again in the future.

• Lee (9/5): This is a perfectly decent place to stay for the price you pay. It’s a nice, place to stay and it’s right next to the mo - It’s very close to the monastery! Nice rooms. I had one with a beautiful view. The heat didn’t work in my room for some reason, but honestly I grabbed the extra blanket and then I was fun. It didn’t get that cold at night.

• Patricia (4/5): - Reserve por la app hostal Alba Taruta , de acuerdo a las fotos que ponían en la app , estando en pleno centro tal como indicaba en la app. El día antes de llegar me llaman del hostal diciendo que recojo las llaves en este hostal pero me alojo en otro , situado a 500m ( se llama hostal taruta ), sin darme motivos de porque el cambio. Son 2 hostales distintos , a pesar de que pertenezcan al mismo dueño .. pero yo pagué por lo que vi en las fotos no por donde me alojé. El check in me lo hizo una señora mayor , dándome en principio una hab doble , aun habiendo reservado para 2 adul y una niña , eso me lo cambiaron en el momento pero me comentó la señora que al día siguiente contactarían conmigo ( aún estoy esperando a que me llamen) . El hostal que yo reservé estaba en plena plaza sin embargo me mandaron a otro que estaba cerca pero no era lo que yo reservé. No lo anulé por 2 motivos , ya pagué por adelantado y porque no había más alojamiento en el pueblo. La verdad me llevo una decepción porque vi buenas valoraciones pero claro eran opiniones del hostal “ Alba taruta “ y no del que me mandaron. Y bueno por no comentar las vistas de la hab , que las pondré en fotos ( una escalera ) ... pero como digo eso no es lo que “ venden “ en las fotos. Ya pondré reclamación en consumo porque no es real lo que ofertan a lo que es realmente. El baño es lo único que puedo decir que se asemeja a las fotos.Una pena que tenga que poner este tipo de comentarios … pero es lo que me ha pasado

Nos dejaron una botellita pequeña de vino y una guia completa de Guadalupe para usarla durante la estancia. Las camas y las almohadas muy cómodas. Lo único que decepciona un poco es la entrada, porque parece que te estás colando en la casa de alguien. Pero en general, genial. Muy recomendable.

We had toothbrushes, parfum, pads, a come, a razor, and many other things, it was really amazing! We arrived very late and the codes worked perfectly, plus the staff was super friendly by helping us on the phone. Visit Guadalupe, it truthfully is worth the trip! There's no parking immediate next door to the room, we left our car a bit far away, so maybe if you have troubles walking or using stares maybe consider it when booking this hotel, otherwise, we can't recommend it enough!

If you drive, unless you are used to narrow village streets, it's stressful and almost impossible to access the property by car. Public carpark is 10-15 minutes away from the property but pulling luggage up the hill can be challenging especially along cobble stone streets.

• Rfas (10/5): Walking Camino Guadalupe - This was the end of our Camino Guadalupe hike and we needed a rest! This may be a 2 star Hostal, but it provides 5 star comfort and care for it's guests. Close to the central square and cathedral, it is ideally located for the visitor. No car parking, but that is the nature of Guadalupe with it's narrow and steep streets. There is however public parking available within walking distance. Highly recommend.

• Martin (10/5): Small hostal offers really superior facilities, right by the monastery. - The quality of the room facilities was exceptional- a wide range of toiletres, fine towels, all the equipment (iron, hair dryer, fan heater) one might need - the standard of a three or even a four star than a little two star hostal. And its location would be hard to beat. Nothing I can think of.

We didn’t like it at all though it was very clean. There was no reception. Just an old woman who gave us a code for the room. We had chosen Alta Taruta because of the good rate. Altamira had 7. We never choose a hotel with a rate lower dan 8. We were very disappointed.

• Richard (9/5): Superb - Location in the heart of old town Guadalupe. Quiet street just off the main square. Friendly, helpful staff. Lack of parking space nearby. Had to park quite a distance from Hostal. No restaurant/bar facilities. When bokking at hostal, ot looked like there would be a pool. This was not true as it was the municipal pool quite far from actual hostal, albeit free to clients of the hostal.
