Definitely would stay here again in the future!
- Eero (8/5): - A very nice hostess Noisy neighbours at night
- Jessica (10/5): - Everything about this place is amazing. Carla the owner of the airbnb was so friendly and welcoming and suggested great places to eat, tour and visit in the area. Beautiful space with great neighbourhood and very safe and close to Gianicolo gardens, monuments and Viale Pamphile! Amazing!
- Dušica (10/5): Nice stay in Rome - Very clean apartment and very nice host. Good location, everything was at walking distance. It was a little bit loud a few nights because of the neighbors.
- Janine (10/5): Wundervoll.
- Anonymous (8/5): For check-in, I recommend that you do not arrive later than the established time, as you may be charged a fee. - The space was very comfortable and clean, the owner is very friendly and communicative Can’t complain
- Songster (10/5): Home away from home - We had an excellent stay with Carla at A Casa Cibella. We loved the location- it was a very nice neighborhood with several restaurants and cafes nearby. We spent a day walking around the many large parks in the neighborhood and felt comfortable and at ease in the area, both day and night. Reaching via bus or taxi from the main terminal or airport was easy. There were several circulating buses that came all times of day to bring us from A Casa Cibella around the city & to the busier tourist attractions, too. There was a very well-stocked kitchenette in the room with an induction stove, pans, coffee, microwave, dishes, coffee percolator, and mini-fridge. We went to a mini market one block away and got groceries to cook in the room. The windows were large and there was lots of natural light. Overall it was a fantastic stay with an excellent host! Carla was so kind and accommodating of us. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Roma! Some nights it was a bit loud outside with the windows open, but this was an easy fix - we just shut the windows - and the noise was nothing uncommon for a large & lively city such as Roma!
- Curtis (8/5): - Good location. Casa Cibella is a room in someone's apartment. No breakfast is served. We were disappointed.
Bon accueil. Je recommande :)
- David (10/5): I highly recommend A Casa Cibella. - The room was tidy and comfortable. The owner Carla Cibella was very kind and helpful; she was able to arrange for me a reliable taxi to the airport the morning of my last day in Rome. No complaints!
- Nicole (6/5): Blast from the past - If you are in the mood for retro times with no modern amenities, it is the place for you. Woman was very nice but a big draw back was no AC….this was first time traveling to Italy so I thought ac was a give in and boy was I wrong! I’m not trying to give a bad review because that’s not what I do, just want to make the next person aware. Also bed very old and uncomfortable and plumbing was very loud and old….water in shower barely got hot enough to be in shower for 30 seconds. Also there’s a tv but no streaming available to watch, fortunately, I had Netflix so we were able to cope from my iPad . Also, it is quite a way from Rome…you have to take a bus (which is close) but for the price of the room I get it. A lot of nice mom and pop restaurants with great food unlike the tourist spots so that was great! Anyone over 6’2 220 lbs or more will not be comfortable. My husband is 6’4 and 290 so needless to say he did not do well. We tried to get a refund but we’re refused. It was hard to get a hold of owner when we had an issue, kind of strange first night we were there, she lives there, called, knocked on door, no response and got an email saying she wasn’t refunding. Oddly enough she called the next day asking what time we left, well we left all of our stuff because we didn’t get a refund so we suffered. Also noise very loud because you have leave window open for any type of air movement. Didn’t sleep well. Won’t stay there again personally but if it’s for you, give it a shot.
- Laura (8/5): Lovely host, quiet and secure location, close to the more local vibes of Trastevere. - Spacious sleeping and lounge room, with plenty of storage, and a mini fridge.
Location was nice and quiet at night, which can be hard to come by relatively central in Rome.
Building is secure. Shower is quite small, which can make it hard to manoeuvre. It was fine for us, but worth noting.
Location is handy to Trastevere, and a short walk down the hill, however if you’re planning to do a lot of walking around town you might want to save your legs and catch public transport in and back, which can add up.
Because of this, depending on your budget, it was a little on the expensive side for us, however Rome in general is expensive!
- Szilvia (8/5): Very good - Very friendly and responsive host, very clean accomodation, beautiful location, close to public transport. The insulation is poor, so the noise from neighbours or street can be disturbing, but with silicone earplugs manageable even for a bad sleeper. The old bed looks beautiful, but unfortunately not the best for sleeping.
- Rex (10/5): - Lovely room in a good location and the host was very nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location in green Monteverde with all services around the corner and very nice restaurants. Close to Trastevere and the city centre, but the area is calm so it's nice to relax after a day out. Bus stop close by, but I prefered to walk. Personal decorated, charming double room with bathroom, kitchenette, small fridge and breakfast. Quiet, clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep is important when you are out and about sightseeing and I slept like a child every night (6 nights). Carla, the owner, is very welcoming, gives you a lot of tips and is very helpful. She arranged a transfer at a good price, booked table at restaurants, told me about the area and sights and even paid attention to my birthday! I will go back to Rome and then I will stay at Casa Cibella again!
- chris (8/5): - Carla was an excellent host who welcomed us from the moment we arrived.
The room was perfect for what we needed and very clean and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hostess Carla, was very helpful. Fabulous neighbourhood with many great and reasonably priced restaurants. Very easy public transit.
- Annette (10/5): Rom at its best!
