The complimentary breakfast was plenty, fres and delicious - This hotel was very nice, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was fresh and clean . The location was very convenient to everything you would want to go to. The soap dispensers they were a bit hard to use, and ours fell off in the shower I don’t like the big bottles attached to the walls.

Decent price, actually surprised being a home football weekend The accessible bathroom was not fully accessible. I requested one that had a chair, but it did not have one. Actually the bathroom was marginally accessible., one bar in the tub. We have stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotels many times and they are generally excellent. It was disappointing and hard for someone who cannot stand and shower to get a good shower. They need to clarify they do not have fully accessible rooms. Actually, we changed to Holiday from another because Holiday said this was accessible.

Diane (10/5): Unhelpful phone staff in advance of stay - My only negative is that I called a week ahead to change our king with couch room to a two queen accessible room, since we took our 93 year old mother. The desk staff was annoyed and thought we should sleep on the couch. I wasn’t going to pay nearly $300 each night for two nights on a pull out couch. She said she made the change, but once we arrived, we were still booked with the couch. Luckily the staff that day was able to move us. Not impressed with staff member.

52margeryr (10/5): Nice new hotel - The Holiday Inn Express near downtown Lubbock and the university is easy to get to; is new, clean, and modern; offers suggestions for eateries in the area; has ample parking; has a wonderful free breakfast; and accommodated for my request for a high floor room away from the highway traffic. This hotel is large, and has only two luggage carts, so could use several more to serve all the guests.

Leticia (10/5): - Parking was small and tight other wise great clean hotel comfortable beds clean rooms didn’t get to experience the breakfast but that has a Starbucks inside and bar. Walmart was close by gas station too it was even walking distance to a club.
