- Christine (2/5): - This place was dirty and broken. There so many lights out it was very dark. Also the blinds in one bedroom would go up at will. The dryer did not dry even after 6 hours of drying. The management company y was no help. The carpets are stained and disgusting. There was trash left behind and we had to buy our toilet paper. They did reimburse us for that.
The amount of space and the location were great.
- Sandra (8/5): Lots of room and great wifi! - Fantastic location in the business district. The flooring in the secondary bedroom was ruined by water damage and the floors are a bit sticky. A bit of other deferred maintenance. However, it was clean and very roomy and we loved how the elevator opened directly into the apartment! We were working full-time and the wifi held up for two people on separate Zoom calls. The communication was also great!
- TROY (10/5): - The property, location was great. Right by Masion House underground a ride away feom everywhere. Being from America no AC was different but the large windows were good since it was not to cold. The 2in1 w/d would not dry. A more detailed description of entry and amenities would make all 5 stars.
- Scott (8/5): - Nice location in a pedestrian only district. Can walk to many restaurants and shopping, several buses and tube stations nearby to get anywhere in London. The apartment is comfortable, with 2 bedrooms that each have their own bathroom. We wished the bathroom doors had locks, but this seems to be common in Europe. The kitchen is equipped nicely with all you need, including seasonings, etc, though a few more plates and glasses would have been nice. The furniture in the living room could use some updating, and maybe an added chair or two would be appreciated. There is an elevator that (with a numerical code) opens straight to the apartment, but we didn't have the key to unlock that door. The lock was not the same as the door from the steps. But the communication was great and we eventually rectified that. Be aware that this flat is in an alley and there are several pubs nearby. The drinking is extensive and loud during the week. We felt safe, but we were there during a heatwave and needed to keep doors open for airflow (no AC) and it meant it was LOUD in the apartment. There was one fan, so maybe having a few more fans in the apartment would alleviate this issue. Also, the blinds don't block out all the light, so adding drapes would be very helpful. It was also easy to get the keys from a lockbox nearby.
Overall, the place was clean, the hosts were attentive, the location was perfect for us, and, though we do think it could use some upgrading, we would recommend it to others.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice apartment, in a good business location - Apartment is nice, it is a little noisy from the street outside. The beds are solid and good to sleep on.
These are not priced cheap though. You are paying top money for the location.
The self check in via lockbox is great. The only downside is the volume of emails from the management company who run the apartment - way too many.
It would be nice if more items were provided e.g. washing machine tablets.
