- Vickie (7/5): I thought it was good for the price but clean towel and the bed made - The location I thought we should have clean towel and the bed made
- Olshewski (9/5): -
- Jack (1/5): - Friendly owner. Filthy. Heater didn't work. Floor grungy. Coffee cups dirty. Mouse dropping in sheets. My wife slept in her clothes. Broken light switch by bed light. Cigarette hole burn in fitted sheet. Black gunk on pillow case. Water didn't get real hot. Couldn't use plastic wrapped cups they had something slimy on the wrap. Sugar packet is for coffee looked soiled and old.

- Eric (10/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): Could have been better - It was quiet. It was cold in the room.
- Roxann (8/5): -
- Joe (8/5): - It was 5 below zero. The beds only had a sheet and a bedspread. A blanket would have been really welcome. The existing heater was inadequate at -5. We realize this was unusual weather.

- Charlotte (6/5): Good place to stay if you want a quiet night without all the fuss. - Ron, the owner and manager is nice and friendly. I enjoyed talking with him and listening to his story. He works hard, and is considerate of his patrons. There is a snack/drink machine. The motel is simple, clean, and quiet, at the end of town. McCook, is a very small town. Cedar inn name is not on the sign. But it is the only motel on the street, and has a large light up sign that says, "Motel". Not that hard to find. It can use a freshen up, brighter lights, paint job. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and would return.
- MARY (10/5): - Ron was helpful during check-in. Room was clean and cool, Ron turned the AC on before my arrival. I enjoyed the quietness of the room.

- Bullock (8/5): It met my expectations and I appreciated the reasonable price. I would stay there again. - It was clean but not fancy. The price was right. Good air conditioning. It’s a little far away from restaurants
- Terry A. Redden (8/5): -
- Chick (7/5): - Quiet, clean, nice man working in office.
- Adam (10/5): - Nice little one level hotel easy to back bike up to the room and see it out the window.
- Callahan (10/5): - Everything
- Mike (1/5): Bad - It was quiet The air conditioning didn’t work and it was 100 degrees when I arrived.
- Siddhant (8/5): Good but needs new sheets and comforter. - The inn was tucked away from the highway, providing a quiet experience. Ron, the host, was extremely polite and welcoming. The room was comfortable and had all the necessities. The sheets looked like they were not changed and had hair on it from previous customers and the comforter had stains.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raymond (7/5): Good -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (1/5): Came away with bedbugs. Enough said. - It’s was a dump with bedbugs
- Sheryl L (10/5): - 1960s motel. Clean and quiet. Reasonable price. The owner, Ron, is so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again whenever we are in McCook.
- Art (9/5): Superb -
- Rick (8/5): - Owner was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfortable.
- Abby (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (10/5): Highly recommend. Better than family! - Ron was the perfect host. Wife and I were attending her father's funeral the next day: he gave us a copy of the obituary from his newspaper. I asked if an iron was in the room and he brought one from housekeeping. Comfortable, clean, friendly and will stay there again, along with recommend. Gosh darn it. I don't remember an ice machine. The stay was peaceful and will stay again absolutely. Zero dislikes.
- Joan (4/5): Nice owner just needs updates and vinyl flooring! - They allowed dogs but charged extra. The water pressure was great Allowing animals should come with extra cleaning but the carpet should have been replace because it wreaked of urine! Lots of long term renters there but they were friendly.
- Sara (10/5): Had a family reunion and stayed there. Was a good stay for the price - It was a nice setup. The owner was very nice and accommodating . Nothing
- Scott (8/5): - The room was clean and the bathroom was nicely updated. The lighting was a little weak. The service was excellent. Overall very satisfied.
- Bunker (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pevoteaux (9/5): Superb -
- August (8/5): I wouldn't mind staying here again; good value for the price. - No problems at all with wi-fi. Temperature comfortable. Hot water arrives promptly at shower; strong flow from shower head, rather than a meager water-conserving dribble. Adequate lighting in room, both for working at the table and for reading in bed. About two blocks from the highway, so no problems with noise. Several of the wall outlets were switched to the lights: so when I turned the overhead light off, my laptop stopped charging; when I turned the bathroom light off, the coffee-maker stopped working. I didn't realize this, until I came back to the room and found my laptop battery drained.
The mattress was softer than I'd have liked; I prefer a rather firm one.
- Mabel (6/5): I would stay again in a pinch. The host was very hospitable and kind But definitely not worth $93 Canadian - Nice and quiet clean.
Nice deep tub.
Good bed Door has no deadbolt. Have to stand on bed to reach the air conditioning
Light came in under door in the morningAlso Mouse sized hole.
Front of air conditioning came down at a light touch while trying to put up the heat.
I’m glad it didn’t fall on my head at night
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (1/5): I didn't stay, after seeing it was horrified by the site outside. Bad part of town, worn down. -
- L. (10/5): It was the respite we needed at the perfect time. - We got hot showers, warm beds and good rest for four days total The price and location are great
- Tom (8/5): Wonderful - This is an old vintage motel that was cleaner than 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in . Ron was a great host and very friendly. I expect to stay here repeatedly! I have no complaints
- Anita (10/5): I can relax here, my favorite place to stay! - This is my favorite place to stay in McCook! It’s nothing fancy but the beds are so comfortable, the area is quiet and I just love the staff! Nothing
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Thelton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (8/5): Pleasurable overnight stay 😊 - It was a nice little motel ! Was awesome to have 3 beds for our family ! Great stay 😀
- Randall (10/5): - The room was quiet, clean, roomy, and comfortable.
- Joanne (9/5): Would stay there again if had to be in that area again - It was quiet and I brought my dog and a nice area to walk my dog. We had a nice quiet room so my dog was not agitated. We had a little noise from the toilet but not to bad
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (8/5): Your basic hotel, no frills but very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. - The room was big, the AC worked well, the bed was so comfortable and the property manager was wonderful! No outlets by the bed to charge my phone
- Carroll (6/5): If you need a place to crash for about half of what the other places charge this is your place! - The owner met me in the lot greeted me with my first name I said your room is right here ready to go. That was check in sweet! When I asked if he had any water for my CPAP machine he quickly brought me two bottles. I thought that was awesome! Toilet ran all night. I didn't report it.The bed was so so.
- L H (2/5): poor - no handicap rooms
- Shelby (7/5): Good for 1 night. - Pricing was what was expected for the room . Shower has the spray pattern of a garden hose. P-tac unit sounded like it needed repair. Could have had a couple more pillows.
- Joyce (8/5): Good location and quiet - Very nice and clean and secure
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (10/5): - The owner is amazing!!!! I will definitely be staying there again because it wasn't busy and not too many people! I didn't feel rushed to get out of there.
- Jonathan (8/5): This older motel is quiet, relaxing, and full of charm. - We stay here every time we come through McCook. We like the owner, the ambience of the old motel, and the quiet location on the hillside on the east side of town. What's not to like?
- Tammy (8/5): Cute little hotel - Fine little hotel, very clean EXCEPT for the comforter which was heavily stained. Sheets appeared clean, & we had our own blankets, so it wasn't an issue for us. Housekeeping did not show up during the day while we were gone, so thankfully we had already taken showers & didn't need fresh towels, but it would have been easy to get fresh ones if needed. Quiet & out of the way, so nice to not have noise issues. Great selection of cable channels, including movie channels, but would have liked a TV with a sleep timer. Nice to see a microwave in the room...that is something I don't see in most hotels or resorts. All in all, a pleasant stay.
- Peter (10/5): - The hotel manager was very nice and friendly
- Robert (10/5): - Enjoyed meeting the owner, nice little motel
- Jackie (9/5): Relaxing and quiet stay, a great value for our weekend stay! - The location was great for our stay in Nebraska. Our host, the owner, Ron was very hospitable and easy to talk with. The place was off the main highway and quiet and cozy. The room was a good size and the bathroom very spacious! It had all the amenities we were looking for in a room, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. This is an older place, which I do not mind at all. There are two things I wish were better, though. I was hoping for laundry facilities on site since we were there for a few days. The only other thing would be the lighting in the room itself. A very nice large window (loved the beautiful size) let plenty of sunlight in, however at night, I wished there was another lamp on the opposite side of the room from the window.
- Megan (8/5): Very good - Quiet, green spaces, great for stay with pets.
- John (8/5): Will stay there again, it was very comfortable and clean. - No breakfast. Host was excellent and had great information. I would recommend to all travelers. Everything was great. Could use some more lighting in the room.
- Judy (10/5): - Very friendly. Location is convenient to everything in town.
- Marcus (10/5): I was traveling with my dog, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us after a rough day -
- Rodney (10/5): - Great
- Art (7/5): Good -
- Jerie (5/5): It was a a good stay, owner was nice. Reasonable prices - Big, dog's welcome and big area for pets Bedding had blood stains from hunters
- Rose (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amber (7/5): Good -
- David (10/5): - I liked the old school vibe of the property. It was quiet and clean. While not offering several amenities like a pool it was a good value for the money.
- James (1/5): Did not stay, I simply left as the place was not up to standards. Booking.com, wrong. - I won't be using Booking.com anytime soon as I believe they misled me on the quality of the place. I thought it would be a nice quaint place but the rooms were tacky and old. The owner was nice but I had to deal with on him to put away his dog at the office. Sorry but the place is not recommended. Much needed remodeling of facility. Slum rooms.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was amazing! So kind and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was really big! There was nothing to not like. Yes the room was outdated, but it was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed at. The carpet was steamed and so soft! Driving up to this place I did not expect that. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover!
- james (4/5): - I don't think the carpet had ever been shampooed and there were quite a few spiders on the carpet,
The bed was lumpy and soft,
Tried to make coffee with what was there and I couldn't taste whatever came out into the pot.
- Randal (8/5): Highly under rated place and a GREAT value for the money! - Very friendly and welcoming host/owner. No nonsense place which is what we wanted, VERY quiet and off the highway. This is truly a gem, quiet, off the highway and awesome for the price. Ron was a gracious host! New carpet?
- Larry (4/5): quiet setting, outside in need of facelift - quiet, about a block off main highway. treat heat & air, digital settings. don't like carpet in pet room, prefer hard surface floor. no place to set things down except floor and table. windows in need of repair, moths could make it in, gap under door.
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (10/5): Stay was except for leaving my shaving kit in the room. - Location was good. Didn't eat any breakfast.
- Babette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronald (8/5): very satisfying - how quaint it was
