There was no option to skip daily housecleaning for your room, which I thought was a bit wasteful. I also used the laundry room while staying and had some items which could not be tumble dried so I hung them in the bathroom using the fitted line for that purpose. I left them out to dry but when I came back the staff had pushed them all up to one side bunching them up so they were still wet.

• Lili (8/5): Nice hotel with lots of amenities, good staff, conveniently close to Kyoto station but a bit pricey. - Nice hotel, good staff, nice room with lots of amenities (hair ties, slippers, pjs, different kinds of tea, coffee, toiletries). The onsen is a nice touch and so are the popsicles in the lobby, as well as a cold water dispenser. Only a 7-8 minute walk to Kyoto train station. Also close to bus and subway stations to get everywhere. Automatic check in was a bit complicated and the staff member had trouble explaining it to us. They only allow one water container per day in the room, which can be insufficient. Breakfast on the pricey side, the hotel price is also a bit high for the value.

The front desk staff was rude, not listening and refusing to extend basic courtesy. English was broken to non-existent or the staff just avoided speaking it for lack of confidence and training. The whole stay felt cold. The lobby area is small. It was a run down hotel with robots running the show.

Location was a bit far for me , would have preferred to be closer to busier streets as there was not much close by but only 10min walk to Kyoto station. Was very clean and the Onsen was huge with great amenities. Room was a great size. Staff were excellent and booked taxi for us when needed. Cannot comment on food as we ate elsewhere in a coffee spot close by but looked very busy every morning.

• Alina (9/5): - Действительно чувствуются "4 звезды". Отель хорошего уровня, все чисто, аккуратно. До главного вокзала 5 минут ходьбы, с чемоданами легко дойти по ровной дороге. До любой достопримечательности легко доехать на метро, плюс автобусы тоже рядом останавливаются. Недалеко продуктовые магазины. Мало розеток, негде хранить вещи.

The hotel was very good. Room a bit cramped, but we survived. The shower was very good. Water hot, bed comfy. Good breakfast, it could be hotter, they need bain Marie's. There is a good selection of food. There's a little restaurant going towards Kyoto station. Really nice little place, only 50 metres or so from hotel. Quite reasonable. They also have icecream at the right of the lifts, this is yummy. Nothing really, just the tightness of the rooms

This was my second time staying, but when I stayed the first time, everything was orderly and clean even the washroom in the main lobby.
