- George (10/5): A very welcoming, homely bnb with fantastic hosts. - We loved our long weekend stay here. It's a really peaceful, beautiful location. A fantastic breakfast each morning (with homemade bread and jams!) was a highlight. The hosts are just lovely people who clearly enjoy looking after the guests and running the family business. If we were travelling through this area again we'd definitely stop here, it beats the local hotels on price, comfort and definitely on service. Easy 10/10. That we couldn't stay longer

- Paul (10/5): Fantastic B&B - Karmen and Gabor were fantastic hosts of the beautiful Tregortha B&B and happy to share their knowledge of Tighnabruaich/Kames and the surrounding area.
The room was tidy, spotless, warm and comfortable. The view from the dining room was unbelievable especially as the sun was rising over Bute. The breakfast was spot on with cereal, homemade bread/jam and a superb fried breakfast to finish.
The location is on the upper road, with over road parking and overlooks the loch.. spectacular view... If you are going out at night remember your torch as they have fantastic night skies and can be very dark.
Unfortunately I was only there for one night but I definitely would go back to Tregortha again

Nice views and what I really liked was the homade breakfast and as a plus owners also had the homemade bread and jams so it was good to see as I am tired of staying in hotels and getting chapest ingredients for breakfast. - Christopher (10/5): Good spot - Friendly folk. Felt like a proper bnb not a guest house. Good breakfast
- Michael (10/5): Lovely stay, hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was just right. Highly recommended. - Plenty parking, nice conservatory lounge for guests. Room was small, but perfectly acceptable for the price paid. Five minute walk to the awesome Indian restaurant nearby.
- Melissa (10/5): Best b&b ever - Excellent place. One of the cleanest b&b/hotel I've stayed in, and I have high standards! Very thoughtful detail throughout, even had ground coffee. Warm and cosy. The family that runs the place are lovely. Home made bread and jam for breakfast.. yum. Highly recommend, stay here you won't be disappointed :) Could feel the springs in the bed, but I don't like beds with springs so not sure if it matters to anyone else. I slept well and comfortably anyway!

- Beckett (10/5): -
- david (9/5): Ideal. - Breakfast was very good. Facilities good. Nothing but the weather.

- Julie (10/5): - Flexible check in, friendly staff, comfortable room.
- Jude (10/5): Excellent experience, would definitely recommend. - Stunning location and extremely comfortable stay. The hosts were charming and could not have been more welcoming and helpful, even chasing after us to the local petrol station with our forgotten phone iPad charger. Disaster averted!
- Julie (10/5): Perfect stay! - Everything was just right! We felt comfortable and at home. Everything was super clean and well designed, well maintained. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom worked well.
The breakfast was great with homemade bread and jam. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a brilliant stay. The weather- but even Karmen and Gabor can’t do anything about that!
- Nigel (10/5): Perfect hosts who have cracked the formula to make your stay in a great location thoroughly relaxing - Great hosts, excellent breakfast, very comfortable rooms with all your needs taken care of. Four eateries all within easy walking distance. Views to die for - what's not to like!
- Paul (10/5): -
- Alan (9/5): Karmen and Gabor were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and the breakfast was delicious. Thank y - Beautiful home and location
- rob_G_1974 (10/5): This is a must go, when traveling through this area of Scotland - Its the total package that just fits, all is good, from greetings on arrival to breakfast to leaving. The room is nice , clean , big, nice bathroom and a view to die for. Nothing, absolutly nothing to complain abaout. So thats it
- Michelle (8/5): Lovely relaxing stay with a warm welcome - Our room was clean and warm. We were made very welcome by the hosts who really took time to be helpful and give advice for a safe onward journey . The breakfast was delicious with homemade breads and jam a highlight. The advice to book ahead for a local evening meal is important!
- Jenny (10/5): - Attention to detail. Lovely hosts. Delicious breakfast.
- Birch (9/5): -
- Ron (9/5): -
- Wolfgang (10/5): -
- Teodoro (10/5): We'll be back. - There isn't anything here at Tregortha which has not been carefully thought of and the guest experience is wonderful. The painstaking attention to details which went into creating this place translates beautifully into a cozy and comfortable stay. The guest book in each room is such a nice touch, we loved it and it was very helpful. This place will have a lovely space in our hearts. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The B&B is just lovely.
- Chris (10/5): Super place to stay and just a short drive to the ferry which will open up the islands to you . - Best views ever Immaculately clean and very professionally ran. Nothing was too much for the owners and the breakfast was great and very good quality .
- Wendy (9/5): Perfect place to stay in Tighnabruaich - The hosts, Gabor & Karmen, are wonderful people. Very discreet but available and willing to provide you with anything you need. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view over the sea. The large king-size bed was comfortable and we slept very well over the 3 nights we spent there. Tea and very good coffee in your room. Breakfast is served in the conservatory with a small selection of continental items, including Karmen's delicious homemade jam and bread, and a cooked breakfast which sets you up for the day. We enjoyed chatting with Gabor about his artwork and visited his studio. We recommend a visit to the Leisure Pools in Portavadie for a relaxing day out. If you like watersports and sailing there are facilities in the area or also places to go wild swimming.
We will happily return to The Tregortha B&B and will recommend it to friends and family. Simply for info for anyone looking to book here, this is not suitable for wheelchair users as there are no ground floor rooms. There is, however, parking in front of the B&B.

- very clean
- excellent breakfast
- comfortable bed
- beautiful conservatory with amazing views for breakfast
- allowed us to store bikes in their garage - room was quite dark with brown decor
- up a big hill (not hosts fault this is just the nature of the area)
- it would be nice to have individual tables for breakfast as if all 4 couples come at once would have to share (but hosts do try to stagger breakfast times so wasn’t an issue for us)
- Hugo Corripio-Lopez (10/5): - Good comfortable bed. Shower with good power (electric). Generous breakfast. Friendly host. Fantastic views and lovely outside seating area. I can't think of anything.
- Alexa (10/5): -

- Colin (10/5): - The owners were so helpful. They even drove my wife and her bike up the big hill as her legs were very sore and tired; this saved our day! Aside from this, it's a lovely guest house with great views and breakfast, in a very peaceful setting.

Stunning, peaceful location within walking distance of Tighnabruaich restaurants, shops and hotel bar with an amazing view over the water to Bute and beyond from our room and breakfast room. Amazing cooked Scottish breakfast with tasty homemade bread, fruit, tea/coffee and juice. The room was super-clean and the bed comfy with tea and freshly-ground filter coffee-making facilities! We greatly appreciated our room upgrade and allowing the use of the garage for our bikes to keep them secure and dry overnight. We highly recommend a stay at Tregortha B&B as there is so much attention to detail here that you'll find it difficult to stay anywhere else! Nothing! We loved everything about our stay and will certainly return.

The hosts were so genuine in their hospitality and truly welcoming, a memorable stay, and you have to check out the owners artwork, really talented, and exceptional works.
- Richard (9/5): - Goed gastheerschap. Breedte van het bed; 140 cm. vind ik te krap. Onze kamer had helaas een zeer beperkt uitzicht op het prachtige Loch, In elk geval 2 van de vier kamers hebben dat uitzicht wel.
- Peter (10/5): - Everything above expe cxtation The owners went out of their way looking after us Nothing
- Geoff (7/5): -

- Norbert (10/5): Why go to Mediterranean beaches if you can enjoy the views from and hospitality of Tregortha? - I approached the Tregortha on my motorbike and found ample, secure parking. On arrival and after a very wet ride Gabor invited me to a nice, blissful cup of tea. During my stay I enjoyed the many chats with my hosts about many local issues and about Gabor's artworks. The views from Tregortha were magnificent as was the tranquillity in and around the accommodation. Karmen's breakfast was lush and tasty. Overall, a real treat! I can't think of anything.
- Joyce (10/5): - How friendly they were and eager to guide us to where to visit There wasn't anything we didn't like
- Vanessa (10/5): Home made bread and jam - Its position and location near the ferry crossing to Bute
