Guest Reviews
- Jonathan (10/5): - Cleaning was good.
- Jamielle (9/5): Great property, would stay again - Very clean and comfortable Nothing
- Patrick (9/5): Very pleased. Good value for the price. - Very clean and up to date furnishings. Body wash hard to get out of the tube, provide larger flat bar of soap.
- Ann (10/5): It was the perfect stopover to rest for a bit before continuing on our trip - It was very clean In the middle of nowhere
- Chad (8/5): - It was clean and well maintained. No hair dryer, and the bathroom lights were too bright. Middle of the night potty runs were disruptive.
- Ann (10/5): -
- PALMER D (10/5): Great place - Clean , quiet. N/a
- PALMER D (10/5): Very nice - Easy. Park in front walk right into your room. Very clean, really nice. Has nothing to do with the property but lots of mosquitoes outside.
- Workum (7/5): Economical, comfortable room with no frills - Such a comfortable bed! The climate control in the room was turned completely off on arrival which made the interior stuffy and a little musty smelling.
It also would have been nice to have tissues in the room. It's possible that we could have gone to the front desk and asked for some, but it was late and we were tired!
- Janice (10/5): Most comfortable I’ve slept in - Bed was very very comfortable… had recently been remodeled
- Tony (1/5): Terrible decision to stay there - Nothing was liked Nothing was liked
- Sheyna (10/5): -
- Mary Luzbella (10/5): - Place was very clean!
- Kevin (10/5): - We loved staying at Landsford in. The check-in was quick and easy, and the room was as if we were the first ones to ever stay in it.
- Diane (8/5): Clean little hotel - Clean, great shower pressure Bed uncomfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): Old quick stay remodeled - Nice property on the inside, but since a lot of people judge the outside this will be the only way people would know that it was remodeled inside
- Alix (7/5): -
- Ashley (10/5): Thank you - I'm mad that they have better mattresses than I have at home lol. The lighting in the room. All lights were very bright white
- Rachel (10/5): Stay here couple times a year - Wonderful , quite , over all excellent for the stay
- John (6/5): - The room was nice, but the air conditioning left a lot to be desired. Sounds like a B27 reving up to take off. They need to update the system to something a lot more quiet.
- Heather (6/5): - Nicely renovated, but the room smells like smoke and lots of black hairs in the bathroom that don’t belong to my family.
- Kathryn (10/5): - Very clean
- James (10/5): Don't judge a book by it's cover - Exterior doesn't look like much but the room was like new! Very clean and comfortable and I love an old fashioned motel where you can back up to your door. Best value of my trip. Just wish there was a coffee maker in the room.
- Mardie (10/5): Happy customer - I had a very pleasant stay at this motel. It was quiet and clean. I have ambulatory issues and it was very easy to get around in the room with lots of space.
Housekeeping did an awesome job as well. I asked for a coffee maker and easy impressed to see it in my room when I got back from the store.
- Gregory (10/5): Great place to stay with clean and comfortable rooms! - The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The price was very reasonable. I liked everything.
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very new and clean would stay there again if the price is right my company only gives me $90 a day so hate to pay out of pocket if the price is higher than what I get a day Nothing
- Sherri (8/5): - Never judge a book by its cover. Photo of motel on site is "okay" but it is actually a very clean and spacious room with a microwave and refrigerator.
My main issue was the internet was terrible and cell service not much better in the area. This was frustrating trying to do work in the evening. Otherwise, not a bad place to stay.
- Keleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable
- Dani (7/5): Good -
- Robert (10/5): Great! - The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful! I really enjoyed my stay here. I ended up needing an extra night added on to my stay, and the staff was happy to help me. I'm here for work and this place was just what I needed. Bed was comfy, and the room was clean. No complaints! I highly recommend this hotel! I will be staying here each time I'm come out here for work. Thank you!
- Brande (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayland (10/5): No problem - No comment No problem
- Palmer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (9/5): This place is completely renovated. - Recently renovated and delightfully clean. I’ve never stayed in a hotel or motel that was in such great condition. Everything was brand new.
- Goran (10/5): - This was my night stop on a drive from Pennsylvania to Florida.
The place is clean and what I liked the most was convenient access from my car to the room. Parking in front of the room door, that is.
The place is not directly on the Interstate, which makes it quiter for a rest on a long journey like mine was. It is on a road paralell to the Interstate. It is maybe 20 minutes drive from it.
I noticed nice scenary around, there was some big lake or reservoir in the vicinity.
- Dan (9/5): An Excellent Stay - We were very comfortable! - Landsford Inn is freshly renovated, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was by far the most excellent stay of our trip, and outshines the larger chain hotels. It's 10 miles from the interstate, but to be honest, that 10 miles is well worth the detour, as it doesn't have the volume of people beating up on everything that the hotels closer to the interstate do. The staff was friendly and accommodated my parking request. (I had a big truck and trailer) My 8yo son is generally easy to please, but still he agrees that this was the best hotel we've stayed at this trip. I found NO FAULTS with this hotel or it's staff, so these are NOT criticisms, just an advisory & request. The hotel is all ground floor exterior door to the outside, and while the deadbolt is perfectly fine and secure, every other hotel I've ever stayed at has a secondary security slide bar or hasp on the door, along with the deadbolt, which is a manual lock that would help keep intruders that spoof the doorlocks out. (super rare, but it has happened) It also provides an extra step / feature for parents with small children that have figured out twistlocks, but can't reach upper hasps from getting out of the room unsupervised. As a father of 4, that has saved me a few times over the years. Just a suggestion to the hotel that you might want to put those in, as literally every other hotel has them. Again, our stay was PERFECT, and we love the hotel and service!
- Consuela (6/5): - It was too far from everything
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (8/5): - Property was clean and room was spacious and appeared newly renovated. Staff were friendly. There is a popular local restaurant across the street. Although we ended up here because othere properties were full, we were pleasantly surprised.
- Scott (9/5): Very clean room - Room was very clean great restaurant right across the street Seemed overpriced for the size of the room and the location however it is what it is things cost more of these days LOL
- Julie (10/5): We travel a lot and I always look for high quality rooms. We were traveling and needed an overnight place to stay. Eve - The rooms were exceptional. They were very clean and extremely comfortable. In fact I usually pay a bigger price for such a room. The rooms were just as good if not better than a higher end hotel. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. There wasn’t anything.
- Olga (10/5): - Fully renovated inside. Very comfortable.
- WILLIAM (10/5): - For being in somewhat of a random location, it's a solid facility. Rooms are quite nice actually. The staff is SUPER nice there too. They do a great job. Not by much, but you have what you need. I took a short little walk to the Marathon gas station for drinks and snacks and had Sunday Brunch at the Wagon Wheel - right across the street, which was a cool old spot, also reasonable and very good (and I didn't have to eat for a day, lol). First time there, but would stay again for sure.
- Sonya (10/5): - Reasonable pricing. Accommodating staff and Nice clean rooms.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (10/5): - Exceptional service. Room was newly renovated, comfortable and clean. Staff even provided a courtesy call to ensure our stay was going well...
- Terry (10/5): - A pleasant stay. Very clean and nice! Big room!
- Bridget (10/5): Exceptional - Everything it was absolute awesome Nothing
- Lois (10/5): Enjoyed our stay. - No breakfast N/A
- Arthur (10/5): Nice people nice place - Clean, remodeled
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- BRUCE (8/5): My 2 day stay - Our room had been recently renovated as i guess all of the rooms were. The room was very nicely appointed and was very clean. I was disappointed that the bath/shower did not have any grab rails, ADA compliance. That was my only complaint.
- Gregg (9/5): Good, comfortable motel. - Clean, comfortable, quiet. Excellent restaurant across the street. They used to have real keys and plastic tags for the doors, which I liked. Now they have electronic key cards for the doors, just like everyone else. . I was disappointed.
- Rhonda (10/5): - This property is in the process of being remodeled. We recieved a newly remodeled room and it was lovely. We noticed ants going across the threshold and the owner was very quick to resolve the issue. He was so sweet and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Not too bad! - Very friendly staff. Of course you may have to kill a few bugs because you’re close to outside, but they clean the rooms every day until you leave. I would definitely go again.
- Kay (9/5): Superb - Hotel had been remodeled and was stylish and very clean. Ice machine not working but only stayed one night
- Marlie (10/5): - Very nice and clean
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- Jodria (10/5): - Don’t let the outside fool you. It’s very nice and updated inside .
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Newly renovated and clean
- Kyle (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): very very clean and comfortable - i didnt eat breakfast
left to early each morning to hunt all was good
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marga (10/5): - Absolutely spotless room. Looks like it was just renovated in a building that’s fine and a parking lot that could be repaved. Slept great, although could hear traffic from the nearby road, but it was not busy at night. Shower in the tub had no grab bars and the floor could be slippery if not careful. Only ours and 3 other rooms were occupied on a Saturday night in March. Desk could have been friendlier, and they did charge an extra $100 security deposit which they said would be refunded immediately if all was ok with the room. At checkout, my receipt immediately showed the refund but not yet at my bank. Would stay again pending actually getting the refund.
- Edward (4/5): - They are trying to update the hotel. I would not stay again
- Marcia (10/5): - Actually only guest at the time. It was an emergency stay for me. Another vehicle there when I left in the morning. Friendly young man checked me in. So quiet, clean and comfortable stay.
- Connie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Donna (8/5): - conveneint
- Kyliegh (8/5): Very good - They are are actively doing improvements and was very clean. Solid little place to sleep and bathe and relax.
- Tylar (10/5): - Very nice people, very clean and comfortable
- Susan (10/5): - Basic room with all the extras: microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Clean
- Gambino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (4/5): Old Line Motel - This is an older motel, which previously allowed smoking, it would appear. Cigarette stains are still present. Today, the owner does his best to keep it clean, however, the old carpeting and condition of the motel has taken on a chemical smell, which is objectionable to one’s sinuses. Not much can be done except to refurbish the place.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice Everything was great the room the area and the staff
- Karen (10/5): Came to the Lancaster Speedway - Very nice stay. We will stay here again.
- Jaydeals (10/5): Exceptional -
- Randolph (10/5): Visiting from Clemson - Visiting family in area. All went smooth. Room was great.
- Renee (8/5): - It was a short stay for us. A place to rest for the next leg of our journey.
- Kelly (6/5): - Positives: Friendly staff; Affordable.
Negatives: Cigarette smell/odor; Ice machine broken; Fridge was unplugged when we arrived.
- Ken (10/5): - I knew going in there wasn’t much around this motel in terms of restaurants and stores, and I was fine with that. I was there to spend a comfortable night, and I got that. Bed was comfortable and the TV worked, though the signal was sometimes spotty. I brought my own snacks and ate before I arrived. There is a restaurant across the highway and a convenience store up the road the other side of US21.
- Gregory (6/5): Not bad, not great - The people who run this property are really great. I had to change my departure date somewhat last minute, and they worked with me wonderfully to do so.
The property is a bit long in the tooth...but it is very clean. It is a "motel" type property, with vehicle parking right outside your door, which can be very convenient.
I was a bit light on outlets, and the internet was just OK, so it you travel with a fair amount of tech, and need to do work online, it might become a bit of an issue.
No in room coffee maker, but does have a fridge and microwave.
One thing that I found a bit annoying, however, is that the fridge was unplugged when I arrived, and I had items in a cooler that needed to be put in the fridge fairly quickly, and it took a fair bit of time to cool down.
One other issue was that when I was gone, the cleaning staff turned off the A/C - heater unit, so I got back to a room that was uncomfortably warm after spending a day outside in the warmth. That was an unpleasant surprise.
But, again, the people that worked the front office were very kind and most helpful!!!
- Gerald (8/5): Off the beaten track - Motel room was clean, check in was quick, staff was nice. Hotel is a long way from the interstate highway. Nothing around.
- Kayden (8/5): - dude who checked us in was nice asf
- Rich (8/5): - The older gentleman at the check-in desk was a bit confused, but everything was sorted when a younger man arrived to assist.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Milian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (10/5): - easy to access.
- Theresa (8/5): - Very clean, no-frills motor lodge in small town. Loved parking right outside my door. Felt safe in the area. Room was basic but adequate. Did not like plastic cover on mattress; I understand the rationale for it but the crinkling sound woke me frequently in the night and it made me sweat (which is unusual since I'm usually chilly.)
- Alta (10/5): Close to Kershaw - No frills, clean, convenient. Restaurant across the street is good. Tidy. Older but clean.
- Joseph (6/5): noisy traffic. no staff besides check in clerk. wouldn’t let you come into receiving area, had to check in thru a window - comfortable beds tub was stained. burnt cigarette markings on the tub and the room was non smoking. no coffee or coffee pot. asked for extra pillows and blankets at time of reservation and didn’t receive any.
- Jennie (10/5): - It was a very nice, clean hotel. Staff was nice and accommodating. Restaurant across road was an added bonus. Food was very good.
- Van (10/5): - Good place. Great restaurant across the road
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eric (10/5): - Quite
- Eric (10/5): - Comfortable and quite.
- Kent (10/5): - Quiet and clean.
- Greg (6/5): - Staff turned off our AC when we left for the day causing us to return to a hot, uncomfortable room
