• henleyb345 (10/5): The PERFECT Wedding Hotel! - Oh m g!! Our stay at the Element was phenomenal!!! I'm the bride, and I needed to find a hotel for our group to stay at for our local wedding. I wanted to find a hotel that was nice, but not crazy expensive, and the Element SURPASSED my expectations. I worked with Joselyn the whole time and she was amazing!!! Always responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the stay was perfect. She even got little goodie bags made for our guests with waters, a snack, and a drink voucher for the bar. As the bride/groom, we got our room upgraded as well and she left us a sweet basket and note. It was so thoughtful! The free breakfast was also divine!!! It included an omelet bar, yogurt, traditional breakfast servings, coffee, tea, etc. The central location was perfect for our stay as well and easy to find for guests. It was clean, and beautiful! I would highly recommend this stay for a one-off night, but especially for groups, because it was perfect!!!

Especially the goodview from the second floor I didn't like the fact that my body wash only had enough for 2 shots and the pot it was a little small, and needed to ask for much larger one, to cook in the room. Also, the aroma did not seem to be 520 square feet. It seemed to be like around 400 square feet. But I remember purchasing the 520 square feet.

The sausage wasn't cooked well, the gravy was cold and biscuits were not great. The juice was fine. There need to be improvement. That's was I look for when I stay.

Missing cabinet handles, black mildew on shower walls, toilet seat completely loose, bathroom water faucet loose and can not keep straight, and body wash soap bottle complete empty. Definitely not worth the price I paid for.

• Randy (2/5): Terrible stay and misleading policies - My family was ill for most days whilst staying in the hotel. It appears as long as the AC was blowing allergies and illness came up. When we left the room we were ok. Furthermore, we were charged for the complete booking although we checked out early and the front desk said we will not be charged after spending 6 rather than 7 nights. We were advised that Marriot's new policy is that the complete booking has to be paid for regardless of checking out earlier. Additionally, there is a high degree of misleading prices a nightly rate was initially booked but then after the bill was received, the rate increased each night. Hotels.com provided no support to have the issue rectified. This was in fact my 3rd stay at the Element sadly I am doubtful I will stay here again.

• Rhonda (10/5): - This hotel is fabulous! Check in was a breeze! They did put us in a room by the elevator but moved us without any problem. The one bedroom room was clean, and spacious. This has got to be the quietest hotel I've ever been in. The air conditioner worked great, maybe even too good lol. The bed and pillows very comfortable. I would have loved an extra blanket in the room. The couch was rather uncomfortable due to it being a sleeper, but it was fine. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The pool was lively, but could not stay out there due to smokers. The staff was so happy and friendly. I recommend this hotel 100%

The location made everything so convenient, and the whole place had a warm, inviting atmosphere. I’d happily come back again!

• Fredrick (6/5): - Checking in I was greeted with that there is no water and it will be 3 hours before it will be back on. I was there to attend a graduation that evening. Then day two I was greeted that the elevator was not working so I had to walk up four flights of stairs. Yes my room on the 4th floor. Two day stay and they did not want to give me a discount for the inconvenience that they caused me and my family.

There IS no customer service. - Booking process: Booked thru Booking.com, yet when called the phone number on the confirmation email, they did not recognize my confirmation number or name. They COULD NOT locate the reservation I had just placed. Communication difficult due to language barrier - English not their primary language. Very difficult to locate a "Facility" phone number to call directly with a question specific to that facility. Two messages left on "facility" phone over several hours with no response received. Recorded message on facility phone does not identify business or location, just a generic pre-recorded "leave a message" message. Human contact at facility: Very, very little. While not offensive, unprofessional. Not sure if "staff" was actually staff, or another guest.
• Erin (2/5): - Our first evening at the hotel, seemed to be going fine, until my child used the one bathroom in our room, only to discover then, when we called for maintenance to unclog the toilet, that there was a plumbing issue (hotel-wide), requiring the water to the building to be shut off for 3-4 hours (during prime showering times for most families). We could not even wash our hands. The next and final day of our stay, after both my daughter and husband injured themselves on a discrete excess concrete base around the tightly packed picnic area, where we planned to eat lunch by the pool, before swimming as a family - though the injury to my daughter, causing blood to be drawn from 3 of my daughters 5 tires on her left foot, prompted my husband to ask the rep at the front desk for bandaids, to which she declined, stating they had none for residents. Finally, a supervisor, came to help, but that was all for not, as though it wasn’t more than enough for one stay, just to finally begin to make our way to the elevator to clean up and have dinner in our top floor room, when the same representative, adamant that she had no first aid to help our daughter, informed us that the elevators were now our as well…so our family of four (hands full of bags) had to hike the concrete (and blood stained) stairs to the top floor. All to find out that zero concessions or bill reductions would be offered, and no medical reports from the various safety concerns endured would be accepted.

• Andrea (8/5): - While the hotel facilities are quite nice, rooms were large and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, other aspects were a mess. The elevator broke down and wasn’t repaired during my stay; my guest discovered a bedbug in their room on the final day of the trip and didn’t really get a meaningful resolution. So stay at your own risk?

• Anna (6/5): - The first night we checked in at 10:00pm. I booked 2 queen bed room , assistant manager Vanessa gave me 1 king bed room with a pull out sofa bed. She said no more 2 queen beds room. And promised me to change room for me another day ( we would stay 5 nights ) The second day morning , I asked the front desk Johnny , he guaranteed we can change back to 2 queen beds room even we come back after 3:00 pm ( I told him we couldn’t wait there whole day just to make sure we can change back to 2 queen beds room ) We came back at 5:30 , it’s another front desk assistant , she told me cannot help me change the room !!!! We were so disappointed, dissatisfied that we said we need to complain to Marriott cooperate , then they Immediately said they can give me back the 2 queens bed room Unfortunately, at 11:30 pm. The room next to us , the music was super loud , by the way, the phone in the room were not working at all, everytime , whatever I need, I need to go down to the front desk to require, I need to go down and complain , the first time , I guess they tried to call the person in the room, but nobody picked up the phone. Then they didn’t follow up At 1:00 am midnight , I needed to go back down again , they said they tried to call but nobody picked up the phone , then I said I need to call the police , cos hotel staff called and they can’t go inside that person room and Check Then they helped me change the room immediately So within 2 days. I changed rooms for 3 times

The desk chair was also dirty. Only stayed for 2 nights. Check in was easy and the guy at the front desk was nice.

• Maya (9/5): My stay was brief but very comfortable. Felt like I was in my own little apartment with my dogs - The best thing about this hotel is its pet-friendly environment. It lifted a weight off my shoulders in concern for my dogs. If my two huskies loved it and were accommodated, I'm sure it would be a great fit for anyone else and their fur babies. I love that it is genuinely like a home away from home. They have a kitchen that provides cookware like pots and pans. Understandably you have to get your own seasonings and things like that if you want to do some real cooking. But other than that, they basically gave you your own pet-friendly furnished apartment. 100/10, I love it and would definitely stay again!! Honestly, I have no complaints!
