• Karey (9/5): A gem just a few blocks from the main Square - The breakfast was reasonable, and they were happy to prepare eggs anyway you chose. It took us a long time to get any hot water in the room, and it was a bit unpredictable. But once it heated up it was great!

• Robert (9/5): Well located, comfortable and beautiful. - The base part of the building is 600 years old, with other parts added on. The floors were absolutely gleaming, very well polished, the place is loved. The receptionist on Mon-Sat afternoon/evening was very friendly and very clear bilingual English/Spanish. Very close to the main square via a walking only street. Convenient, and just away from the busy party area. We travelled in shoulder season. They were doing some renovation work upstairs, but rarely when we were around. The balcony door doesn't seal perfectly and it isn't soundproofed from the street. There is a wall mounted resistive heater, but it is a little drying to keep on.

Close to hotel you have some important things from the city, including acueduct, seven borreguitos street, plaza de armas and much more.. They supposed to have an AC, but its an small Split, not enough for room size. We have requested breakfast for early tours, one day we've received the breakfast, the other one no, and nobody had any answer which is inconvenient.

• Carmen (10/5): I usually travel alone, so I would say it’s perfect for asplo traveler too. The area is central with a lot of shops and - The staff were super sweet all the time. We had the bus early in the morning for Puno and they packed us a bag with sandwiches, juice, water and crackers. When we went to Machu Picchu they held our luggages at the hotel. The beds were super comfy.

La ubicación, muy lejos de la plaza de armas, las instalaciones muy antiguas, los baños con cortinas, la calefacción casi no calienta, nos quedamos sin papel higiénico y se demoraron en llevar más, lo escogí porque tenía muy buena calificación pero no se porque, me parece que en Cusco hay mejores opciones por ese precio. Lo que sí resalto es la atención del personal del desayuno y de Renzo, muy amables y atentos.

Umiestnenie hotela v meste mi veľmi vyhovovalo. Neďaleko centra ale nie úplne v centre. Každý večer hluk z chodby a z vonku. Sprcha napevno pripevnená k stropu.
• Melissa (10/5): Loved it- the balcony, the room, the breakfast. - The property was conveniently located within a couple blocks of the main square. It had a balcony with a lovely view. There was a heater in the room, but we had no need of it during our stay in September. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The common areas of this hotel are beautiful. The breakfast was very good, you could get a latte made to order, coca tea, and water to fill your water bottles. It was quiet at night. We were on the top floor. Note that the rooms in the lower floor appeared to only have a window that looked into the interior of the hotel- no window to the outside. The hotel and area in which it was located seemed very safe. We’d love to stay here again. The bathtub in the room was pretty worn out and the lighting in the bathroom was poor.

• MARCELO (10/5): Tive uma excelente estadia! - Excelente acomodação, com quartos confortáveis e bom café da manhã. Localização perfeita! Altamente recomendável! Minha sugestão de melhoria seria tornar o acionamento do exaustor do banheiro manual, possibilitando assim mais conforto (barulho apenas quando necessário) e economia de energia. Atualmente é acionado por sensor de presença. Outra sugestão seria orientar os hóspedes, por meio de cartazes e orientações, a não utilizar celulares em volume alto e com viva voz, em quartos e principalmente em áreas comuns, como no café da manhã. Infelizmente esta prática tem se tornado frequente na sociedade. Não é um problema do hotel, mas acredito que uma orientação ajudaria.

• Andreas (9/5): Sehr schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Cusco - Die Lage in Cusco ist super und nahe zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Blick aus unserem Zimmer war super. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich, aber nicht sehr lokal geprägt - eher internationaler Standard. Super ist, dass man dort Wasserflaschen für den Tag mitnehmen kann. Das Personal war super freundlich! Wir würden wieder kommen. Naja, latainamerikanische Problemchen halt. Die Dusche sieht prima aus, ist aber wenig funktional: Abfluss geht nur, wenn man den Stopfen die ganze Zeit von Hand hoch hält, warmes Wasser kommt erst nach Ewigkeiten, Abluft der Toilette ins Zimmer und nicht nach außen...aber alles nicht schlimm.

Pase un poco de frío en el espacio común. La habitación si tenía calefacción.

• Paula (9/5): Clean and Comfortable Stay - Room and facilities were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Central locations, 5min walk to Plaza de Armas. Market, laundry, a few doors down the street. communications betw day and night shifts - we stayed 3 nights before our trek and had reserved 1 & 2 nights after our trek. Before we checked out for the trek, I doubled checked that we had confirmed reservation upon our return. It turned out, they could not find our bother in-law & nephew's reservation. The night shift person made a manual reservation. However, upon our return after the trek to check in, they could not find our brother in-law and nephew's reservation and the hotel was full. apparently, the day shift manager erased the reservation b/c she thought it was canceled. Luckily we were able to find another hotel for 1 night. Not a huge deal, but better communication betw the staffs could have prevented the inconvenience.

• Adriana (10/5): Couldn't have asked for more - -Clean, spacious, warm and comfortable room -Not noisy despite great central location, quiet inside despite being fully booked -Easy access, taxis and tour buses can drive right up to the entrance and you don't need to hike through steep hills or stairs to reach it -Perfect water pressure and temperature - Great view from balcony - Reasonable price - No biggie, but the heater doesn't have a thermostat so it just keeps going forever and the room can get too hot. Quickly fixed this by setting it to low during the night (blankets are super thick anyway). Recommend only setting it to high a few minutes at a time as needed when it gets really cold, then reverting back to low or turning it off intermittently for maintenance

• Nikki (7/5): Good location to explore central Cusco - Located A 5 to 10 minutes drive from the main Plaza, Hotel Archangel was nicely situated. A large room on the top floor gave us a view over the town rooftops. Basic breakfast and unfortunately reception only intermittently staffed. Comfortable and clean rooms with good Wi-Fi. Due to the lack of staffing when our Taxi did not turn up to take us to the hotel early in the morning, we had to rely on the kitchen staff to help us find a solution. A huge thank you to them for stepping in and managing to find us an alternate transport to the airport!

• Jemima (10/5): Perfect location, authentic look hotel with great staff - The staff were amazing particularly Brayan (I think is how you spell it) who was on afternoon shift so we saw the most often, and the night shift man was lovely also and arranged our breakfast box once we became aware it was an option. The room had great lighting, a lovely balcony, a makeup mirror, the hotel itself was gorgeous. And the location was just perfect. Loved the orange juice at breakfast We had a few issues at the start, which as we were on long days away from the hotel I thought best to email regarding - it turned out the staff at the front desk were able to sort them quickly once made aware. Cusco is a very loud city , the soundproofing was good but still recommend ear plugs. I really appreciated how the hotel listened to the issues and sorted them out for us. I would recommend this hotel to others for sure.

• Donovan (8/5): Good value for money. Would recommend. - Hotel was exceptionally clean, rooms well maintained by housekeeping. WIFI worked well for me. On site laundry service was efficient and reasonably priced. Can't think of anything.
• Heather (8/5): Comfortable stay but not so quiet - Basic room with a window facing into the passageway, this meant keeping the curtains closed all the time for privacy. The courtyard/passageway echoed alot so a 3am wakeup was not uncommon as people left for tours. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was very basic and bottled water was available. A water refill station would have been great to cut down on the plastic bottles. The room was clean and comfortable.
