• Margaret (8/5): We had a great time in catania and very much enjoyed the convenience of he hotel and its amenities. - The location, the comfort of the bed, the good shower, the cleanliness. I wouldn’t say I didn’t like this. Instead, it’s an observation. There’s no elevator and the hotel is on the second floor.

• Lasha (9/5): - Located in a very central area, this is a quite comfortable place to stay at. Generally spacious, nice bathroom, things available in the shared areas, and quite beautiful interior. A bit cold and pretty difficult to warm up with the air conditioning.

• Gina (9/5): - Great location, 2 blocks from the Roman Theater. Good contact with host. Large room with good size shower; hot & powerful water. Quiet at night. Good WiFi. Parking garage next door and asking the street if you can score a spot. Small convenience store around the corner and restaurants nearby. Everything was good. If you have mobility problems you may have difficulty with the stairs. It is on the 1st floor (2nd by US standards). No elevator. Stairs are wide and easy to ascend.

• welsh (9/5): A wonderful place to stay while visiting Catania area. - it is a perfect place to stay in Catnia, close to all the things to do nd see there. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome, two of the main things we appreciate on our travels. It is not the Hilton but a wonderful place to stay just the same. Street parking was good, but be advised do not leave anything visible in the car. Location to the airport is perfect and to see the sights outside of Catania is easy. We would stay there again. it is on the second floor (the american second floor) so it was a hike up the stairs, but with all the fine food we had there it probably was a good thing. Our car was broken into and articles stolen so be aware of leaving things in your car.

• Helena (10/5): Calm and comfortable in Catania - Spacious, clean, airy, quiet and comfortable room. A great location, handy to Via Etnea action. Fantastic staff especially Piero who went above and beyond. Most mornings there was no wifi.
• Lubova (8/5): - Nice, clean, unique. During our stay everything worked smoothly, all doors (2 outside & 2 inside) had codes, so we didn’t need the physical key. However, on the last night one of the codes was switched off, and we had to contact the hosts after 11pm. Luckily, they replied quickly and were ready to help. Just a small tip: in the evening it’s safer to take the physical key with you, just in case, to avoid waiting for help.

The staff were very communicative and proactive prior to check in due to our late check in arrival. Excellent location with close and walkable proximity to central attractions.

The only hint we would give is to shut the bidet as when we arrived, it had all been cleaned, but there was a funny smell in the bathroom. My boyfriend closed the bidet plug hole and that seemed to solve the problem.

Ved ankomst undrede vi os over at det ikke lignede et hotel udefra, lignede mere et italiensk flerfamiliehus, men vi var kommet ret. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale.

• Leopoldo (8/5): - he room and the bathroom felt updated, it was clean and comfortable and had a good design. The AC worked very well and quiet (a life savor during the heatwave). They let us leave the luggage there after checking out while we were out getting breakfast. The second floor walk up, and em the ceilings are very high so it felt like a really hard walk up especially with heavy luggage.

• Gyöngyvér (10/5): Excellent location, tastefully furnished and very clean - This is an excellent hotel: the location is perfect to explore Catania, it is located on a nice street with trees in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful street Via Crociferi. The room we have booked was very spacious, with two large windows, big ceiling height and was absolutely tastefully furnished. What is most important: everything was super clean! We can only recommend this place!

It was lovely. The air conditioning wasn’t running properly, and we got a bit hot as the night went on.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden gem in Catania - A gem in the middle of Catania! Amazing value for money, super comfortable and clean rooms. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no reception staff most of the time, so you need to rely on messages, but they are very responsive. Would come back!

There was a slight problem getting the heating to work the first night, and Pierto came from home at 21:30 and fixed it. The location was good and near to everything. I would suggest that you try to confirm your exact arrival time, as the property is not staffed 24 hours a day. I would gladly recommend this property and would stay there again. Can't think of a thingI didn't like

• Hugo C (10/5): Great value - Great value and close to main tourist area. It is one metro station away from the centrale which is a good thing. The door is a bit thin so in the morning it may wake you up when there's a lot of movement in the hallway.

Alessandria war ein sehr netter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Komme bestimmt mal wieder.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was out of order. The taxi ride from the airport is a bit of a hassle, always decide on price first, their meter overcharge.

• Pamela (8/5): Big clean rooms and bathrooms, nice breakfast, central location but the owners there only in am - I liked the location and the owners were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and the rooms were large and clean as well as the bathrooms. There was only the owners around in the morning and felt rushed in the morning to get breakfast so they could leave. They were very kind and packed up a breakfast for us so we would have something as we left early in the morning the next day before they arrived at 730AM. I think I missed having someone around as the place felt very quiet whereas the B&B we stayed in Palermo had lots of people around in the morning and it felt more warm and friendly to me.
• Clark (8/5): Comfortable stay in a reasonable location for central town - but a few issues to be aware of - Good size room (no 2) with very comfortable bed & pillows. Nice clean bathroom with hot powerful shower - however ‘free toiletries’ means a small tube of shampoo, no conditioner or body wash/cream (in case like us you are travelling light). There are quite a few step to negotiate, including into the bathroom, not a problem for us but something to be aware of. No frills property at the price - lack of toiletries in bathroom. Disappointing that no breakfast was available (included or otherwise) despite booking.com reviews repeatedly mentioning breakfast - right up to the time of our stay at end of October 2024.
