Welcome from owner's adult children was 'functional' rather than warm (once again not as had expected from reviews). Return of owners on morning of our departure resulted in significant improvement in atmosphere - shame we arrived when owners were away! several very reasonable restaurants within walking distance

A difícil situação do black out no Chile foi contornada com seu gerador apesar da dificuldade de conseguir um posto de combustíveis que funcionasse. Só devemos agradecer e sugerir este hotel aos futuros viajantes.Não percam!

The owners immediately received us with warmth and candor and their personal wine production could match anything we’ve had in Napa. Centrally located to the Colchagua valley wine route and priced just right. We hit this just while it is still accessible, don’t know I’d be able to afford it in 5 years.

Breakfast is clearly a thing set in a very well dressed room. It is a cold buffet with plenty of fresh ingredients.

Próximo a locais como Montes, Clos Apalta e outras, uma antiga casa de mais de 100 anos, com quartos confortáveis, com uma cama maravilhosa. Café da manhã foi servido no nosso quarto todas as manhãs, com pães frescos, mel, café, frutas, ovos e outros mimos. Éramos despertados todas as manhãs por cantos de pássaros. Os donos, Mauricio e Carla estão sempre pendentes de tudo e de todos. Local ideal para descansar e desfrutar.

- Priscilla (8/5): Fiestas patrias en el hotel - El hotel es pequeño, agradable y acogedor, lleno de antigüedades, atendido por los dueños muy amables, desayuno sin mucha variedad pero decente (lo cobran aparte). Cama king acogedora.. baño con problema de agua caliente y nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitacion. Cuenta con estacionamiento.

- Kris (10/5): A Beautiful Hacienda Stay into Chile’s past. - This is an amazing and beautiful place filled with beautiful furnishings and common spaces. The spacious dining area with its beautiful wood furniture and table settings was unlike any place I’ve ever stayed. The included breakfast was lovely. Even though we spoke little Spanish, we were able to communicate as needed.

Breakfasts were delicious, beds comfortable, and property was delightful! We sat out on the second level terrace to watch sunset and drink wine and it was very memorable. Would stay again and recommend to those needing a hotel in Sara Cruz. I would give five stars.

Se quiser comer algo à noite tem que pedir comida pelo aplicativo. Funcionários não muito dispostos a ajudar. Cama e quarto ok. Café da manhã ok também.

- Emily (10/5): Estate in the middle of wine country - I would highly recommend staying here. It was more of a B&B than a hotel. Very conveniently located, with a great restaurant and a very good winery across the street, and many other wineries close by. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. And the decor was perfect for a stay in wine region. All at a very competitive price.

- Kenneth (10/5): Friendly and relaxing. - Lovely little hotel. Owners were so friendly and helpful. Organised all our wine tours for us and taxis to and from. Breakfast in a family room all round one table. Owner even gave us a lift to the bus station at the end of our stay and his son stayed with us to make sure we got the correct bus. Just a really interesting place to stay and surrounded by vineyards. 40 minute walk into the main town, Santa Cruz. Excellent.

- Susan (10/5): SERVICE ABOVE SELF! - Mauricio and Carla (and cook Maria and dogs Frito and Dali) are happy hosting their venture and it shows in the joy they take in everything done for guests. Rooms are individually designed and have the most comfortable mattresses I've found in years. We stayed 3 nights in Room 6 and our friends stayed in Room 4. (Rooms 5 and 6 are the biggest) We loved every minute...they arranged an excellent wine tour, kept guests supplied with shaded areas for pool lounging, and offered afternoon wine and cheese. I guess finding out that Mauricio is a Rotarian (and a former Club President, same as I), was not really a surprise, because he and Carla truly put Service Above Self.
