Guest Reviews
- Herrera (9/5): - I liked the peace; the environment was really peaceful. My friends and I had a really good time in the quietness of the space; we felt it was the wonderful nature escape we had been looking for. Next time we hope to stay for more days. The only thing we didn't love was that we had been offered (or misled) into thinking that we would have a private bathroom inside our cabin, but that did not happen.
- Canales (7/5): - Mostly everything was good except the confusion upon check in. We received an email confirming tipi 2 but the body of the email said tipi 6. With that confusion we were in the wrong tipi and ended up with one less bed than requested. Although the site was clean and pretty personally we were a lot closer to the other tipi's than we have liked.
- Martinez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tollitt (7/5): Good - Nice quiet campsite. The firepits are superb. Great design. AC/Heat control needs instructions. It was a cold couple of days (-2C) and despite the remote control reading 30C inside, the unit was putting out cold air. I had to download instructions to warm up the tent.
Also, needs some hangers for drying clothes or a laundry room onsite for the same.
I could do without the TV and put a collapsible camp table and chairs inside. Wet days you aren't going to use the picnic bench outside.
- Todd (7/5): Overall, it was ok. Several things would have made the experience better. - No food on site. Kitchette's in the tipi's. 1. We arrived late and it was chilly outside and sprinkling. I hadn't seen the door code sent to my email, so it was confusing when we got there as there was no one there to direct us.
2. By the pictures on the website, it appeared the shower and rest room were in the tipi's..... they are not.
3. No directions how to use the we A/C-heater. When we arrived it was about 40 degrees, and the A/C was on in the tipi. Took awhile to figure that out. Would have been nice to have instructions.
4. After finding the restrooms, couldn't figure out door codes to them. Didn't realize you have an assigned bathroom for your tipi.
5. Beds were not the most comfortable. They are on the hard side.
- Leila (10/5): Exceptional - ease of check in beds pretty stiff
- Eric (9/5): Superb -
- Lydia (8/5): TeePee 2 - Atmosphere, location, outside amenities No microwave, separated bathroom from the room. Path to river to steep.
- Janeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heidi (10/5): We had a wonderful stay and loved the area! - Location was great by the Guadalupe River! We were not told tubbing was seasonal only when we booked the tipi and had to go to nearby vacation rentals to rent tubes for the river.
