• Lorenzo (10/5): Una notte in un rifugio - La posizione di questo rifugio è meravigliosa. Gli interni curati mantenendo però un'atmosfera tradizionale. La stanza era nuova e spaziosa. Il rifugio gestisce anche un ristorante dove si mangia estremamente bene. Ma la cosa migliore è lo staff: gentile, cordiale e giovane. Un posto meraviglioso Nulla tutto perfetto

• Clive (10/5): Absolutely excellent. - The Vieux Crest was brilliant, we absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, great for skiing and no doubt great for walking. Has to be said the access could be challenging in the winter but nothing that couldn’t be walked or skied. The bedrooms were simple, very functional, clean and warm. We stayed for three nights and explored the mountain on skis in mixed weather but overall had a great time. The Refugio supplied evening meals which were hearty and of a high quality with copious amounts of excellent wine. The breakfast in the accommodation was just what we expected. It was of a good quality and reasonably varied. We asked for bacon and eggs one morning as an alternative and this was no problem. We were never rushed and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Nothing

• Carol (10/5): Absolutely outstanding - The hotel is in a beautiful building in a characterful old village. Our room and bathroom were well equipped and comfortable. We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. The owner went out of her way to help us transfer our rucksack to the end of our walk at the other end of the Aosta Valley and made all the (complicated) arrangements for us. She could not have been more helpful and I am very grateful for all her kindness.

Le camere con letti a castello con le doghe belle rigide. Forse proprio il letto un pochino duretto ma perfetto per la schiena. Se ci fossero le matrimoniali sarebbe da considerare per un soggiorno romantico, così invece è più da soggiorno sportivo per sciate o passeggiate in montagna

• claire (10/5): Absolutely fabulous, thank you Sarah and team - Amazing location overlooking a valley. The most hospitable staff, we felt like family rather than guests. Nothing like a 5 star hotel in terms of facilities (not expected with a Rifugio of course) but exceptional 5 star food and very reasonable price. Such a warm and cosy environment after a day in the slopes. Didn’t want to leave! We felt so cared for and we could really relax in this beautiful Rifugio run by an equally beautiful family. We will definitely come back. Great find! Also near some awesome skiing, easy to access from the Rifugio. It is fine for us but I would say if you had serious mobility issues the short walk to the lift is on an incline and could be a bit slippery in winter. But pack good boots and you will be ok! It is also a stunning view across the valley from the path so well worth the effort of walking!

• Luca (9/5): Excellent option - The hut is located in a great position for hikes/walks with various difficulties. The property delivers great views and an excellent breakfast. The a-la-carte menu for dinner has the right amount of options (not too many, not too few) with locally sourced delicious food. Staff is very attentive, courteous, always with a smile and ready to give you advice for your walks/hikes. We did not have our own sheet bag so we bought the disposable ones at the property: they do the trick but they are not the most comfortable option.

• Guest (10/5): Vi hade några fantastiska dagar, med underbar skidåkning, god mat och skön avkoppling. Vi blev väldigt väl omhändertagna - Fantastiskt läge med närhet till naturen och skidåkningen. Inget att anmärka på.
