Brenda (4/5): - The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. Windows in desperate need of renovation or replacement. One broken, others warped and won't shut. Furniture is well used and uncomfortable. Dining chairs are from a garden range. Beds were comfortable enough. Unable to use the washing machine as the soap compartment was filthy, mouldy and infested with ants (so I put this drawer in soak for a whole day before leaving). And on reflection I think we may have been allocated the wrong apartment (as booked and paid for the 3 bed and some confusion about the check out date).
Paula (2/5): would not stay here again. Very disappointing. - I did not enjoy this place at all. It has cockroaches that come out at night, it is not very clean, we had 2 nights and i was very happy to leave. The area did not feel safe and the security guard sleeps in a hut outside the apartment and there is toomany stairs to get up to the apartment. We had to ask to use garage for car as the guard said its not safe to leave caroutside. I would not stay here again. It has potential but is tired and needs cleaning and a good refurb.

Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved this location! It was perfect for our family of 5 and so relaxing and beautiful! Great spot close to the beach, near Boulder's Beach and Cape Point. Lots of great restaurants close by too. View is incredible and we truly enjoyed it!
