Traveling for a long time I've got used to that you can either get really nice social hostel or a clean hostel with proper facilities. And they have it all! Natalia is a gem in hospitality industry, caring about every single guest, organising time, giving advice, the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are clean and there's enough of them, and it's extremely easy to socialise (I'm a solo traveler) due to numerous activities organised by the hostel. This place is precious and puts really high bar for the hostels around!

- Jana (10/5): Eine klare Empfehlung für eine tolle Zeit in Kroatien - Die Unterkunft hat einen tollen, herzlichen und freundlichen Charme. Es ist super gut eingerichtet und bietet eine Menge Platz, sowohl in den Gemeinschaftsräumen als auch in den Zimmern. Es werden Unternehmungen vom Hostel angeboten, sowohl für den Abend als auch für den Tag. Die Mitarbeitenden sind super nett, hilfsbereit, gut erreichbar und auch vor Ort. Die Zimmer sind immer ein guter Rückzugsort und in den Gemeinschaftsräumen wird es gern auch etwas voller und lebhafter. Das Hostel ist auch super sauber, auch wenn viele Menschen sich dort aufhalten. Nichts

- Felipe (10/5): Una maravilla campestre - Me gustó todo, desde la recepción, la simpatía, la limpieza, la buena onda, la organización. Sin duda uno de los mejores hostales que me ha tocado visitar. Si quieres descansar unos días, conocer el parque de plitvicka o salir a dar un paseo por las montañas de Korenica, este es el lugar al que debes llegar. Si no hay mucha gente alojada, lamentablemente no puedes acceder a algunas atracciones. Recomiendo ir a finales de temporada alta.

When they have activities in the common area there is no place to relax or have some peace. But its not a party hostel they close everything up at 11pm at the latest, so thats good.

From the location, to the staff and volunteers, the trips organised by the hostel and the other travellers, everything contributes to create a great experience. I really enjoyed both the kayaking and the abandoned airbase trips and met some great people here. This hostel has been a highlight of my trip and I would highly recommend staying here! It would be great if the shower on the bottom floor had more hooks for hanging clothes. The kitchen could also get quite crowded at times especially with only one sink.

I felt so safe, it was honestly incredible, even had to stay an extra night. The staff are so helpful to arrange activities if you haven't done so yourself already, I honestly can't fault it. I'm gonna miss Paul the cat. Nothing, it was genuinely one of the best experiences I've had.

It was pretty light in the room during the night (probably from the street lights), would be better to add dark curtains on the windows.

- Lorenzo (10/5): Per fare una vacanza avventurosa e conoscere gente meravigliosa - Questo ostello setta un nuovo standard per i futuri ostelli che visiterò. Un posto che non si limita a darti un letto, un bagno, una cucina e una sala da pranzo, ma fa molto di più: costruisce la tua esperienza nel posto che visiti. Grazie a shuttle e staff, si può fare svariate attività (date un occhio al loro sito per sapere quali) molto divertenti: laghi di Plitvice (ovviamente: c'è uno shuttle, da prenotare sul posto, che parte alle 8 e viene a prenderti alle 17, al costo di 7 euro circa), escursione bella impegnativa (dipende dall'allenamento, io non sono fortissimo) sulla Gola Pjlizivice (in cima, da un lato si vede la Croazia, dall'altro la Bosnia. E' autoguidata, per cui ci si può andare da soli quando si vuole, oppure con un gruppo di persone, ma di solito non ci sarà una guida: lo staff darà il percorso da seguire in caso), sunset hike (una collinetta con punto di partenza a due passi dall'ostello, si raggiunge la cima in un'ora/un'ora e mezza), kajaking (55 euro, spettacolo, consigliatissimo), bunker e aeroporto abbandonato al confine con la Bosnia (1h di strada con lo shuttle. Non so il costo perché ci sono andato con la mia macchina). Ogni giorno (sera di solito) inoltre vengono organizzate attività anche molto semplici, ma che spingono la socializzazione (nel mio caso sono state: Trivia night, Musical bingo, Cena burgher and potato salad (top potato salad, Bea :) ). In pratica arrivate per vedere i laghi di plitvice, uscite che avete conosciuto persone meravigliose e posti sconosciuti ai più. Staff gentilissimo e si integra con gli ospiti. Ci sono stato 4 notti e sono riuscito a fare tutte le attività proposte da loro (che ho elencato sopra). Consiglio di non prenotare i laghi: si possono prenotare la sera prima e almeno guadagnate in flessibilità. E' mancata un po' di comunicazione. Se non sei nel posto giusto al momento giusto potresti ritrovarti a non essere inserito in un'attività perché non eri presente quando lo hanno chiesto/sono finiti i posti. Suggerisco qualcosa come un gruppo whatsapp oppure una lavagna su cui si segni l'attività e sotto le iscrizioni. La stanza era tanto luminosa di sera/mattina per i miei gusti, ci vorrebbero delle tende migliori o qualcosa di simile.

- Matheus (7/5): Good cost benefit and close to Plitvice - The location is very close to the plitvice park and there’s always buses from and to the place. Hostel has some events during the high season, including hikings, tours and games at the night. During the free hiking the hostel volunteer guide left me behind. Not doing this should be the first rule of a guide, so make sure you are high experienced to do it. Kayaking and other tours are way too expensive. Laundry service is also expensive. Beds are a bit noisy
- Gertrude (1/5): Für Gäste, die im Urlaub Nachtruhe suchen, ist dieses Quartier nicht geeignet. - Es ist zwar eine Jugendherberge, trotzdem erwarte ich, dass man ab 22 Uhr Ruhe findet, um schlafen zu können, was leider nicht der Fall ist. Die Terrasse wird zwar - aus Rücksicht auf die Nachbarn - um 22 Uhr geschlossen. Leider wird dann drinnen im Aufenthaltsraum mit so einer Lautstärkte weiter gefeiert, dass Schlafen vor Mitternacht nicht möglich ist. Manche Jugendliche kommen dann erst gegen 3 Uhr früh in die Zimmer, rumoren in ihren Sachen herum, leuchten mit Taschenlampen durch das Zimmer, ohne Rücksicht auf andere Gäste, die um diese Zeit schlafen möchten. Ich habe meinen Urlaub dort vorzeitig abgebrochen, weil für mich dort keine Erholung möglich vor, vor allem ausreichend Schlaf zu finden.

Sandra is so friendly and makes the place feel like home. I didn't like the fact that I should take off the shoes on the entrance and walk barefoot until i get my slippers out of the bag :)

I wish I could have stayed longer to try some of the other day tours. Staff were super friendly and helpful, even coordinating the return of my flip flops that were left behind at the end of my stay.

- Rita (8/5): Comodo - L'ostello era molto accogliente, le ragazze alla reception molto simpatiche e disponibili. La cucina è lo spazio comune grande. La struttura è ben organizzata, c'è una navetta che parte ogni mattina per andare a visitare il parco nazionale dei laghi di Pliviche, inoltre ci sono delle attività previste da loro quasi ogni giorno. Le stanze sono spaziose. La mia stanza quadrupla aveva tutte le finestre con esposizione al sole, nel pomeriggio faceva molto caldo. Non c'è aria condizionata nelle camere. C'erano solo due docce per ogni piano, quindi quando l'ostello è pieno è un po' complicato.

- Shuo (10/5): - 這是我在歐洲旅行將近一個月後，睡得最好的兩個晚上。極其潔淨的環境，舒適穩固的床，安靜又有禮貌的室友，還有熱情細心的工作人員，讓我可以安心好好休息，好好欣賞十六湖公園的美好。
- Evi (8/5): Good - It has a homey vibe. You can cook your meal in the great equipped kitchen. Very friendly staff. Could park my car in front. You need New matresses 🥴✌🏼 I sank in a hole, and I tried 2 different beds.

- JAEHUN (10/5): - 직원이 정말 친절하고 상세하게 답변 해줍니다. 그리고 시설도 깔끔하고 셔틀버스서비스도 플리트비체 입구2 바로앞에서 타고내리니 편했어요. 참고로 직원분께서 코스조언도 해줍니다. 주방등 공용공간은 사용하지않았지만 잠깐봤을때 괜찮아보였어요. 없음

- Juben (10/5): Wish I stayed longer - Amazing hostel - Organise the shuttle bus for you really well. Staff are so helpful and nice. Stunning location, remote and so much nature to explore. Also close to the bus stop and mini and supermarkets. So clean and rooms are incredibly spacious like nothing I've seen in a hostel before. Really social and easy to meet others. Cheap dinner and desert was amazing cooked by the staff. Don't make the same mistake I did - stay for a few nights!
- Ardelean (9/5): Friendly atmosphere in a nice house, conveniently located near the National Park. - Sandra, the receptionist, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The activities of the hostel are very well organised. I found most of the information I needed for visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park and the surrounding area.
