• Emmanouil (10/5): - This boutique hotel is a true gem in the location of Thessaloniki. It starts from the amazing stuff and their incredible hospitality. The rooms are also very clean and spacious. The breakfast and generally their food is excellent and their prices reasonable. If I could give some constructive feedback is that the 1st floor rooms can easily hear the noise in the reception area when there is a check in - check out happening . Would love to see some more sound proof options in these rooms next to the doors to help resolve that. Otherwise this is the place to book - also extremely friendly if you have a pet.

The walls or gap under the door made it very easy to hear all noise in the hallway and neighboring rooms.

Unfortunately the rooftop terrace with jacuzzi and sun chairs was not open this time which was a real pity as nowhere outside to relax. Nice clean and quiet rooms. Είναι καλύτερα να προτιμήσει κανείς τα δωμάτια που έχουν θέα μπροστά στην πόλη (πιο ακριβά βέβαια) γιατί τα φθηνότερα budget δίκλινα δεν βλέπουν πουθενά με μια μικρή βεραντούλα που ουσιαστικά καταλαμβάνει μέρος της αίθουσας πρωινού ( φωτογραφία1). Το πρωινό πάρα πολύ καλό!
• Justin (6/5): Bit of a let down! - Highlights are the cleanliness and both the service at breakfast and the breakfast itself. Less good, we were quite late checking in and given a standard double even though we had booked a junior suite, when I initially went back to reception, I was told we had a suite, and then told we would be moved the following day as they were fully booked. The roof terrace (only outdoor space) is closed which is a shame as it looked like it would have had sone good views (apparently not been opened for a number of year). For a seemingly 5 star boutique hotel, this is lacking on details and service (no porter for bags on check-in, not shown to room, cleaning cloths left in room and bottled water missing one day and only 4 coffee pods for a 6 day stay!)

• Sherri (8/5): Enjoyable Stay - Didnt start off well… we could not lock the door to our room and noticed that someone had kicked the door in and split the wood on the door facing making lock inoperable. We reported to front desk as we leaving for dinner and they said they would take a look at it. When we returned we were told that nothing was wrong with the door and that we were just not slamming the door hard enough. We were insistent that they accompany us up to take a look. Turns out they had gone to wrong room. They gave us another room but they could have handled the situation better. Replacement room was nice and comfortable and AC worked very well. Breakfast buffet lacked protein choices but they will cook eggs to order for you if you ask.

• Chialing (10/5): Definitely a rare find… - Very modern new hotel just came f the main road, clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom and large shower with glass doors. Very helpful, friendly concierge that even valet parked for us whenever they saw us pulling up by the front, because I was afraid to walk on the glass flooring over the archeological dig under the dining area to go to the free parking lot in the back.. Services were impeccable. Breakfast buffet has plenty, they even cooked egg -whites only at our special request. Strong air conditioning. Safe large enough to store a laptop. Consistent Wi-Fi. Great quiet location, less than 10 minutes walk to shore where all the shops, restaurants and bars are located.
• Daniel (10/5): A gem of a small hotel in central Thessaloniki! - We just finished a delightful 2-night stay in Thessaloniki - our first stop in our first trip to Greece. This small hotel is wonderful and centrally located just a half-block from one of the main streets and close to the central square. The breakfast spread was amazing and we recommend it strongly. Huge shout-out and thanks to Klara at the front desk who helped out with everything and Teo who was there to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Urban Chic is a real gem!

• Darren (10/5): Great Thessaloniki Base - The hotel staff are extraordinarily welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their service is prompt and they endeavour to predict possible needs. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located conveniently, with shopping and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It is an easy 15-minute walk to the train station and the other city highlights are all within a 30-minute stroll.

• Ilona (10/5): WONDERFUL - I write it in English rather than Swedish so that more people can appreciate what I have to say. I found my stay at the Antigon Urban Chic Hotel absolutely WONDERFUL. The welcoming attitude and the level of kindness from the staff was something I haven't encountered previously. Despite the hotel industry entailing service, it isn't always as genuine and consequent as that of Antigon's co workers. Before my arrival I had some e-mail conversations with the hotel reception and I was amazed by the quick and kind responses given by both Klara and Alexandra. The location of the hotel is really optimal, a safe area, the sea is a quick stroll away, as is Ladadika if you fancy diving into the Greek cuisine. The room was modern, clean and fresh, the bathrobe changed daily and I enjoyed a tasty breakfast buffet which was offered during generous hours. Special thanks to Theo for his warm hearted approach and Dina and Filip for having such positive attitudes. My return flight was an early one and I got a breakfast box to go, with goodies accompanied by a double espresso and soy milk. Overall, the establishment offers a harmonious, calm, elegant, clean and contemporary setting. I stayed 7 nights and frankly felt a bit of sadness having to leave Antigon. • Yuli (10/5): - The staff at reception was very friendly and really professional! They met me with a welcome drink and brought my bag to the room. The room was extremely clean and all furniture was very new. I had a feeling that all including bathroom is after renovation and I was the first guest in that room. The only thing I should mention that the amenity for hand and body wash, shampoo was provided in the shape of pills in the package, and it was not convenient for use. Especially as a shampoo for my long hair. Probably it’s an innovative way to save nature. However the overall experience in this hotel is very pleasant and I would recommend this hotel for stay in Thessaloniki as location is in the heart of city centre in the vicinity to everything.

• Jeff (10/5): Incredible hotel with great staff, unique dining. - This hotel is incredible. The staff was extremely helpful, with a free upgrade since it was low season. The restaurant is over a glass floor looking down on an archaeological site. Unfortunately it wasn’t open for dining during Covid. Best of all, the hotel has a parking lot behind it. In Thessaloniki downtown area, parking is super challenging. Location is walking to the White Tower and a hopping restaurant and bar area within walking distance.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - We stayed at your hotel for 2 nights (28-30/5/21) and we enjoyed the room. We had a rented car and we used the hotel parking area. We did checkout on the morning of 30/5/21 at about 05:30 am in order to catch the flight to Israel. Following checkout, we wanted to enter the car and drive to the airport as fast as possible, but unfortunately many cars parked behind our car and surprisingly the receptionist had no driving license. As a result, we found ourselves taking out many cars at 05:30 in the morning from the parking area to the street in order to find a way to move our car from the parking area. It was a very frustrating situation as we wanted to be at the airport early morning in order to get a tax refund for some of our items. Unfortunately, we missed the option for a refund of about 100 Euro in view of our delay. Secondly, we know these days are very challenging in terms of hospitality at hotels, but the “breakfast” that was served to our room was really a shame and it is definitely not something to expect from a 5-star hotel. We cancelled breakfast at the second morning of our stay and preferred to buy something to eat and drink at the close café.

• Miles (6/5): Not really a 5 star establishment - This is meant to be a 5 star hotel, but in my view it is closer to a 4 star hotel. We stayed in the junior suite, which was really no bigger than a standard hotel room. It had a balcony that overlooked a car park and some really ugly buildings, not somewhere you would want to eat breakfast really. There were some stange unpleasant smells in and around the hotel as well. Staff were friendly and pleasant, even though a maid wandered into our room without knocking at one point; not something you expect in a 5 star hotel.

• Haim (10/5): the best hotel in tsaloniki - Amazing hotel in the heart of tsaloniki Great staff, very clean and very pleasant. The head manager Ana Gives u a touch of personal care all day long.
• Amanda (6/5): Disappointed - Overall, this is a very nice hotel with nice staff. There were issues, however. We visited during winter, but the rooms were very hot, with no ability to use the ventilation system. Breakfast service was very slow. There is no ability to get your own coffee and it took 20 minutes to get a cappuccino. Third, the cleaning closet was located right beside and outside our room. The cleaning ladies worked until 11pm and were extremely noisy. The neighborhood is quite noisy and there was road noise all night. It’s quite a long walk to the main attractions in town.

• Stephen (10/5): Wonderful stay in Thessaloniki. - a very warm and heartfelt welcome from the staff of the hotel. Comfortable, clean room and an excellent buffet breakfast. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
• Walton (10/5): - This is an exceptional hotel and one of the best that we have ever stayed in during European city visits. It is a very new and ultra modern hotel. The staff are without exception outstandingly helpful and attentive to your every need. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely stay here again on any further visit to Thessaloniki.
• Roula Crisp (10/5): A very chic hotel with lovely staff. - The hotel is excellent, very close to shops and restaurants. Walkable distance to everywhere in the city center. The staff are very helpful and are always there to answer any questions you might have with a smile. We loved our stay in this hotel and if ever we visit the city again, we will definitely be staying there again.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Could improve on housekeeping - Fantastic customer service, lovely room and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Noticed some debris from previous guests under sofa bed and in bathroom, otherwise no complaints.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Located near the center area of Thessaloniki. It has small rooms....all the hotel has ceramic tiles which looks like marble, but it isn't. Breakfast is good and tipically greek. In my opinion the hotel rate should be 4+ or 4 superior. It has no pool. It is just an old block of flat refurbhished.

Kiri and her team did an amazing job and went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The level of service and genuine hospitality is a rare find today even in the most prestigious hotels around the world. We will definitely be back.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasent experience. Great breakfast. - The hotel staff is very friendly, especially the restaurant manager. The overall experience of the vacation was great, even though there was a small incident we had on our first day, the hotel manager took respobsibility, apologized, suggested room change and even gave us a small present to our room.
• Mr (10/5): - Of all our travel stays our 5 nights at Antigon rates very highly. The facilities,location and professionalism of the team there was exemplary. Anybody thinking of Thessaloníki for a city break should think Antigon.
