- Leslie (8/5): Good stay - Just back from two weeks in Skiathos. Returning to this particular hotel after a couple of years. Great position just out side of town. Lots of steps up to the hotel but manageable. Lifts from reception available. Staff are lovely. We had a few issues that were sorted out. The hotel is in need of a little extra tlc so the rating is a little flattering Good sized pool area and views are over the airport and port

- Jamie (8/5): Honeymoon in Skiathos - We had a lovely stay at Skiathos Living Hotel. We booked a loft room which was very spacious and offered absolutely stunning views of the sea and the port. You really couldnât beat the views. The location was ideal for anyone wanting to stay in town, just a short four-minute walk to the port where you can catch boats to nearby islands. Itâs also only a few minutesâ walk to the bus stop if youâre heading to one of the beach resorts. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was brought to our room each morning. It didnât always arrive on time, but we didnât mind too much as it was a relaxed holiday. The pool area was nice and we never had trouble finding a sunbed. They were very comfortable and it was a great spot to unwind. There were a few downsides. The hotel lacks some basic facilities such as a toilet by the pool and a hotel bar or restaurant. We had a couple of minor issues in our room that were reported but never properly addressed. The phone didnât work, the safe kept locking our things in (though we were eventually given a key), and the mattress was quite uncomfortable, which was disappointing given the price we paid. All in all, we had a great time. The location was perfect and the room itself was lovely. With just a few small improvements, the hotel could be truly outstanding.

- Andrew (10/5): - 1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. Beaches 22 mins walk (google) although that is an average and we did it in about 15mins. Ramp & steps to hotel from street. Room was large and spacious with long balcony .Staff were Fantastic and breakfast was AMAZING! Rooftop pool with double loungers, pool towels supplied. This hotel allows children although there were none when we stayed there. Yes we would recommend this hotel 4.5- 5*
- julie (8/5): - The 2 bedroom apartment we booked was quite spacious but sparsely decorated. The best thing of the accommodation was the lovely balcony and the view over towards the airport runway. The apartment itself had no cooker, toaster, coffee maker and very little cutlery and kitchenware. It also has a lot of steps up the front which is not well documented in the write up. Not at all good for even slightly less able people.

Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit und das Haus könnte mit dem Pool eine kleine Perle sein. Das Preis-/LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis ist jedoch nicht angemessen. Teile der Möblierung werden durch TĂŒcher abgedeckt, die Abnutzung und Verschmutzung verbergen sollen, abgefallene AblageflĂ€chen im Bad werden nicht ersetzt, Lampen funktionieren nicht und insgesamt sieht man deutlich, dass kein Wert auf Erneuerung gelegt wird. Zumindest war das in unserem Appartment der Fall. Leider bleibt so das GefĂŒhl einer preislichen Abzocke.

- Andrew Ian (6/5): - Firstly, this hotel promotes Welcome Pickups for travel to and from the airport. Do not use. I have used Welcome elsewhere and been very happy, but on Skiathos it costs at least 3 times what a taxi will charge, with no more convenience. To the hotel experience, if you have any leg or knee pain, or any age related mobility issues, this hotel is not for you due to the steps. The hotel staff generally are good with housekeeping and reception cheerful and welcoming, and there are two male staff members, one of whom is quiet and helpful, whilst the other is surly and unwelcoming, particularly when he is responsible for arranging for the daily pick up of used bed linen and towels which is achieved by bin liners of linen being thrown up and down the steps from the hotel to the road. This he allows to become a dangerous obstacle course. To the rooms, these are relatively spacious and are cleaned daily. Most have good sized balconies, and given the location, high above the town, do get a good view. Breakfast has been mentioned by other reviewers. This is very limited, and depending on who has prepared the tray, delivered to the room by one of the male staff, can vary on content but include hard boiled eggs, sliced ham/luncheon meat and processed cheese and a basket of sliced white and brown bread. Other pastries and fruit are not always great quality. Nice-ish pool area, double mattress beds are good for couples, but families tend to use/block more beds than necessary.

- Iain (8/5): - We have just returned from a great stay at Skiathos Living. The staff are extremely friendly and obliging. Our apartment was immaculate and very spacious, overlooking the pool and with a beautiful sea view (room 303). The shower rooms were quite tired but ok. The daily housekeeping was excellent, and breakfast was brought on a tray each morning. There is a lot of bread and pastry! More fruit would have been welcome and perhaps a toaster in the room would have been good to make toast for breakfast with the bread provided. The cooking facilities are basic, just a small hob, so cooking for a family isnât really possible plus there were only a few plates and cutlery. The pool area is good with lovely views, it is clean and tidy however the cushions on the sun-beds desperately need replacing as theyâre dirty (per other reviews) and some were ripped. I was told however that these are being replaced very soon. The Wi-Fi is good, 3mb download and the TV had 2 English speaking channels, Sky News and MTV. The location of Skiathos Living is excellent. Just a very short walk to the bus stop and new port and 10 minute walk to the old port and the Bourtzi peninsula. The old port and old town are beautiful with many shops and restaurants. You can also get a taxi boat from here to a few of the more popular beaches. The taxi boat to Koukounaries is 6 euros pp, and the bus is 3 euros. We really enjoyed our stay and with a few tweaks this hotel could be really wonderful!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Skiathos Living June 2024 - Our stay at Skiathos Living was what I had expected based on the price of the room. The rooms were spacious and on two floors. Bedrooms & bathroom downstairs and living room, kitchenette and bathroom on main floor. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Several services can be booked through the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Rooms had blackout windows to block the early morning sun. Air conditioner was very cold, which was great. The room and grounds were very clean. I was a bit disappointed with our stay though. The facility is run down which is not reflected in the photos. All pool beds need to be replaced. They are dirty, worn and not comfortable. I do not recall there being "cabanas" as shown in the photos. The rooms need improvements. Water leaks out of the showers, the soap, toilet paper and towel holders falling off the walls. The trash can in the kitchenette smelled bad. The hotel is on top of a hill which you can tell from the photos. However, there is a long walk up the hill to get to the reception area. The staff will help with luggage. However, by the time they know you need assistance you are almost to the top. The hotel did notify me the day before arrival about the walk up to the hotel. We did enjoy our stay at Skiathos Living and would stay again if improvements are made to the hotel. The staff made the stay worth the while.

- Mark (10/5): - Great location for access to Skiathos town. Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful. Apartment was large clean and adequate for us. The bathroom had a good shower in a walk in cubicle. The bed was large and comfy. Plenty of wardrobe space. Continental breakfast was served in the apartment on a daily basis. Didnât use the pool facility so canât really comment on that. We used it as a base to drive to the beaches around the island. The property had its own car park. This was across the road from the property but easy to find and use. There are approximately 50 steps from the road to the reception. Not a problem for us but might be for some older persons. Staff are on hand to help with luggage on arrival and departure. The description of some of the facilities/amenities needs updating on the Expedia site. Would definitely stay again.
- Helen (10/5): - Perfect accommodation for our family as centrally located to transport hub for the beautiful beaches. The place had a lovely pool with loungers and towels. We ordered breakfast to be included, which was great and enough for our lunch too. Welcome air conditioning in the rooms and we stayed in an apartment which was over 2 floors, but it had 2 toilets one on each floor and 2 balconies. Staff were all amazing and super friendly. Wouldn't hestitate To recommend this hotel. There are steep steps to property..so wouldn't be suitable for people of limited mobility.

But at the high rates we paid there was not enough value although the property rooms are large and lovely. Needs key upgrades in ventilation system, showers etc. pool was nice and would benefit from 24 hour reception and at least a small cafe on site.
- Thomas Matthew (6/5): - Next to quite a busy road so it's not very relaxing sitting on the balcony. Absolutely no food or drink facilities so if you fancy a drink when lying by the pool you have to bring your own. Breakfast is delivered to your door on a tray at a time you specify so this means you can't be spontaneous if you wake up early and want an early breakfast. There are a lot of steps to get up to the property which is tiresome with luggage. Apartment itself was ok but I would not stay there again or recommend it.
- Karen (6/5): - A mixed review. When I booked it was advertised as âSkiathos Luxury Livingâ when we arrived it has been downgraded to Skiathos Living. The apartment was very basic. Very limited self catering faculties, which meant we then had to eat out for every meal. The apartment furnishing were simple, clean but heavily stained on the sofas and curtains. The beds were uncomfortable. The children had to put duvets on the mattresses so they could not feel the springs. That said, the apartment was cleaned a daily with fresh towels etc. The pool was sufficient, but small with no bar / shop (fine for us but highlighting). Great location to Skiathos town which was perfect for our 16 year old girls. Bus route stop 1, was right outside complex with supermarket and bakery not much further. Small balcony but with a stunning view of Skiathos. Lovely island, great people, very friendly, affordable but very busy and commercial in places. Old town is stunning. Beaches lovely. We hired a small power boat for a couple of days, which was great to escape some of the busier beaches.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Totally misleading photos and not worth the price - This place was marketed as âluxury livingâ and the price they charge is a luxury price. We paid AUD 921 for 3 nights including breakfast. It was NOT worth anything like that price. The photos are seductive and the promise of a deluxe Seaview suite had us fooled. The place is listed as a hotel - it isnât. Itâs constructed as apartments, but operates as a quasi hotel/serviced apartment, but yet is neither. There were no common areas except the pool and no dining area. In fact, the reception is located in a ground floor apartment. Yet, it was not a proper apartment either. Far from the billed full service kitchen, there was no microwave, just an old rusty 2 burner plug-in stove. The kitchen had no knives, except from one small chopping knife. If you wanted to self cater, you could not do that. Far from luxury, I would describe it as Spartan. The mattress on the bed is thin and you could feel every spring. The living room furniture actually comprises mostly wooden boxes with thin mattresses on top. The furnishings were sparse in a huge space. The living room was huge, but with a tiny TV tucked in the corner. The breakfast was delivered on a tray to the room, but no choice or options were offered. While over generous, more than you could eat, it was mostly carbohydrate - lots of bread, croissants, pastries, pies, cake etc, though a boiled egg was always included. But the cheese and ham were low quality. The only good points were the views, and the staff very helpful.

- Kim (8/5): - Firstly, the view from the balcony was breathtaking. We had a full panoramic view of the port of Skiathos and the run way to the airport which meant we could watch the aeroplanes arrive and take off which was amazing. Breakfast was delivered on a tray with a range of items; boiled egg, ham, cheese, savoury pastries, sweet pastries, bread and spreads, juices and tea. It was far too much for 2 of us but plenty to choose from. We didnât have chance to use the pool due to our short stay but it did look busier than other pools we have used in Skiathos/ Skopelos. There was no pool bar and so it would be difficult to stay there all day. It is a large complex with many buildings, to get to a room you may have to get into multiple lifts. It is also up a lot of steps which is a small downside for me. After a lovely meal with a full belly to then have to climb I find it exhausting especially in the heat. The room was lovely with a kitchen area, living room and dining room table. The bathroom was large. The bedroom was up more stairs which in the night were a little difficult when you need a midnight wee! But the bed and sofas were very comfy and relaxing. On arrival we received a lovely glass of refreshing lemonade and a traditional sweet too which was a lovely welcome from the reception staff.
- Angelo (10/5): - This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The rooms were very spacious and modern and had magnificent views of the port and town. Breakfast was great and the pool was wonderful and so enjoyable to swim in during a hot summers day. But most of all the staff were so friendly and truely made you feel so welcomed at all times. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

- Alexander (10/5): Review. - Very pleasant stay here for 8 nights. Large rooms and balcony with limited kitchen facilities for self catering. Great views of the sea and a short walk into town. Not recommended for those with mobility issuing unless you donât mind climbing stairs. The Bali Beds do need a clean as well as the sofa/cushions in the room. But a very good hotel.

- John (10/5): Stunning views, excellent standard, friendly, modern - Excellent hotel apartments in superb location mins walk from town, bus stop & full view of runway and harbour. 40 steps up to reception and then lifts available. We stayed in Loft apartment and standard double, both v good size rooms with everything you need. Breakfast is cereal, bread ham cheese egg yoghurt cake etc! Rooms have soundproof doors so you hear nothing at all. Maria is the hostess you would always wish for, super friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool with mega comfy pool beds too.

- Vasileios (6/5): - We booked this hotel based on the fact that there would be 3 of us and we wanted to have our own rooms. When we walked into the room we were impressed with the view and the fact that it had two levels. The top level had the living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. We were very happy until we turned on the air conditioning. The upper level had no problem with cooling, but the lower level air conditioning was not working. The temperature was in the mid 80's to give you an idea of the warmth. We opened the window, but because it was next to the pool there was several bushes that did not allow for good air flow and the bugs were a little intense. We contacted the manager and she came to assess the problem. She said she could not get it fixed and would provide a fan. I understand that she was not capable of fixing the problem and tried to remedy the situation, but someone should have been called out since we were paying $200 a night. This is very expensive for the time of year we were in, but we thought we would splurge a little to be really comfortable. This was not going to be the case for the third person in our party. We thought, oh well, and in the morning we were looking forward to our breakfast that was practically for 2 when it was 3 of us. Considering that during peak season this room costs $400 the service is mediocre and far from that standard. This was expressed during check out with no intention to make up for it. Would not recommend for the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - The apartments are new & in a good location with views over the new port. It is close to the bus stop for the many beaches. The restaurants & shops on the old port are also a short walk away. Maria & Michael weâre very helpful, organising taxis, carrying bags & letting us have the use of the apartment for the day as we had a late flight back. Altogether a great experience & recommend Skiathos Luxury Living.
- Mrs C S (10/5): Amazing place to stay. - Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The staff were all superb, Maria and her team couldnât do enough to help us. The apartment was very well situated and immaculate. Itâs only a very short walk to the harbour, shops, restaurants etc. The pool area was beautiful and quiet and thereâs was no trouble ever getting a sun lounger. We would definitely book again.
- Lily (8/5): A well-managed and comfortable option in town - A very well-managed hotel about 5 minutes from Skiathos airport, and a 5-10 min walk into the old port area. Not a "resort" offering but very convenient, clean and comfortable. We stayed here for a long weekend and it suited us perfectly - we didn't bother with a car hire, and used the bus/ferries to get around. The manager and staff are very friendly

Negatives: 1. Breakfast In an apartment for 4 people that costs 400euros/night you do expect a really good breakfast. Breakfast served was poor both in quantity and quality. 2. Swimming Pool Area Swimming pool area is really small and if there are many kids it's not a good place to relax. Also service in the swimming pool area was poor as well.
- Terry (8/5): New Hotel - Brand new (finished) and very high quality by Greek standards No bar or restaurant and breakfast delivered to your room Great location close to town/ Port (5 minute walk)but also quiet at night. Incredible views from all rooms. The only real downside is the 40+ steps from the street to the reception but then elevators take you to all floors (23 rooms) while to you get your breath back! Highly recommended and really nice island

- Verified traveler (10/5): An amazing find! - We have been holidaying on Skiathos for the last 5 years now & this years accommodation was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the time that we left nothing was too much trouble for the friendly Maria & her team. Beautiful apartments with adequately equipped kitchenette, spacious bedroom/ living area, private bathroom & balcony. A very nice complimentary continental breakfast was served to our room at the time requested daily. Hot breakfast was also available at an extra charge. The views of skiathos from our room were superb, though all the rooms have a similar view. On the third floor we found the pool & sun terrace with extra large sun loungers & free pool towels. Our stroll into the port of skiathos was only 350/400 metres away with a variety of good Greek/ fish tavernas. With plenty of places to eat in skiathos we are always spoilt for choice, though we do have a few favourites. Once again a big thank you to the friendly Maria & her very hard working team. Hope to see you again next year.
- Mari (10/5): - Great boutique hotel a few steps from the port and downtown Skiathos. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room (better said the two bedroom apartment with sea view) was amazing, very comfortable and spacious. Loved it! would go back any time.
