The host was exceptionally kind—she even dropped me off at the slopes in the morning without me asking and carefully explained everything for my way back. Such a lovely lady with truly amazing energy. The location is perfect: about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop and shuttle, and around 15 minutes to the slopes, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Amazingly good experience! Nothing

• Maury Tornado (9/5): Ottime camere in centro paese - La titolare Giovanna ci accoglie con gentilezza, rapidità ed indicazioni ferme e precise, cosa che personalmente apprezzo, almeno non si perde tempo! La stanza era pulitissima.. le coperte profumavano di lavanda, addormentarsi è stato un piacere, letti abbastanza comodi, posizione centrale comoda per attività in centro, specie se serali (vicinissimo c'è un ristorante che fa delle pizze spaziali, e location stupenda) in generale tutto a portata di mano. Ho apprezzato molto in area comune bollitore per the e tisane, e tazze per farsi una colazione iper veloce, personalmente apprezzo molto. Possibilità di scaricare i bagagli davanti alla struttura, c'è una salita in cui sostare qualche minuto. Purtroppo le stanze sono posizionate vicino ad un campanile, che suona esattamente la prima volta alle 06:45. È imbarazzante nel 2025 farsi svegliare ancora in questo modo. Ovviamente nessuna colpa per Giovanna, non do 10 solo per questo ma è importante sottolinearlo, perché spezzare il sonno compromette la giornata e a noi è andata così, speriamo che riuscite a farvi valere col parroco per ritardare almeno alle 08:00! Segnalo parcheggio NON privato dietro la chiesa, ma stretto, meglio far 500m ed andare al grande piazzale dei parcheggi, la parte inferiore erbosa non è mai a pagamento. Non proseguire la salita dove si fa carico e scarico, c'è una strettoia, andare via in retro

Clean and friendly host - Great location in Barzio Center, next to restaurant and groceries shops, 400 meters from bus stop to Lecco and shuttle bus to the cable car for the ski slopes. The room is cozy and warm in winter and very clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful and goes well beyond her duty to make guests feel welcomed. Even after checking out she made available a small room for us to change after skiing. Also my son was craving some soft drink, but the shops were closed in the late afternoon, so the owner left a bottle of coke in the evening in front of our door. Wifi works great. The owner does not speak much english and sometimes she is not on site, so need to call an italian mobile phone number to have her come within a few minutes. It may be a bit difficult for international travellers

• Lynda (8/5): Good, dog friendly location in small town in hills behind Lecco - 100m from the centre of Barzio which is a lovely little town with bars, restaurants, clothes shops and a very good gelateria! Best place to eat is at the Locanda. Our room was next to the church but the bells are silent all night and the bed is comfy so it was easy to have a great sleep. Room is basic but as we were only there for two nights it's all we needed. Dog friendly accommodation and our Westie would be happy stay here again. Not applicable
