Guest Reviews
- Denzel (6/5): - My room definitely needed to be remolded. I stay here often but this time my room had a dead bug in it. Also, just a very dingy and smelly room. I hope I get a better room next time. The walls were dirty.

- James (2/5): - Very dirty
- Jo (6/5): - I booked my trip prior, but payment had not been met upon arrival. The television screen was extremely blurry. Furniture had seen better days, at some point; but not my visit. It definitely could use an update. Towels were clean.

- greg (10/5): - Great place for the price. Clean rooms, updated flooring.
- Alan (2/5): Stay away. Terrible, nasty room. - Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. No hair dryer, no shampoo, and no racks to hang even a towel or toilet paper. Bedspread was covered in cigarette burns. The drawers had some kind of bug remains so I kept everything in my suitcase. Bugs in the sink and bathtub. Soap from the last person to stay here was still in the bathtub. Entire room was dirty. I doubt the bathtub was ever cleaned. The power outlets were all burned out. The bed sheet was tied to the bed. Would never go back here.
- Penny (2/5): - The room looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in a long time. Bed sheets were stained bathroom door with hole cut in it to clear toilet to shut door. No interior safety lock. Door to room had a gap all around the door.

- Joshua (2/5): - Well my wife and i checked in was easy to do . When we got to the room we wanred to shower obviously from traveling . Bath tubs were filthy and the floors were gross. After reluctantly showering we pulled the bed sheets back to find womans underwear tucked into the sheets.. it was like a crack head motel or a tweakers paridise. No joke disgusting!!!!

- Huey (10/5): A place to stay - Was there for rest it was quite, and the young man at the front desk was friendly.
- Cynthia (2/5): NASTY NASTY NASTY - Very DIRTY. Used bandaid on floor by sink. Killed a roach on the shower curtain. Floors were FILTHY. I guess you get what you pay for.
- Gregory (2/5): - First of all the towels were stained black showers were dirty walls were falling apart chipped everywhere and looked just plain nasty than the front desk just opens our door at 9:50 saying are you staying or checking out check outs at 11:00 who the hell just opens the door clearly it’s locked and heard the tv on
- Denzel (10/5): - I’ll be back
- Tyler (2/5): - Everything horrible and disgusting , if you wanna get picked up by bugs and give no sleep , this is a place
- robert (2/5): - Bed cover had cigarette burns, toilet seat broken, towels were old and were gray (supposed to be white), floors had cracks, and tv didn't work when I got there.
- Justine (2/5): - There were bugs in the room we got and it seemed super sketchy and unsafe in the area. The room seemed unclean and had a weird smell and the bathroom door had a hole cut in it to be able to go around the toilet.
- saikiran (2/5): - the room has a broken door and room itself was awful
- JESSICA (2/5): - I didnt even stay there i spent money for no reason literally checked in had to go back to work didnt get to look at the room cause of having to go straight back to work. Got off at 2am and the bathroom sink was nasty it smelled the sheets had blook stains on them or coffee and to be honest it didnt look like stains it look lik they just remade the bed without changing the sheets. Called the office i was told they was full and to call the company i book threw its there problem i would never again. I toom picturez wish i could post them
- stewart (10/5): - no soap in the bathroom and the bathroom was in average condition.
- Michael (8/5): - I like that the store was right next door
- Michael (6/5): - It wasnt to bad for the area it is in
- Dedrick (4/5): - Was very sketchy. More like an extended stay that rents the open rooms. A lot of activity and movement. Located next door to a truck stop
- Michelle (4/5): - ended up staying somewhere else. couldn’t do it.
- Mike (2/5): - Absolutely disgusting and unsafe.
- Walter (2/5): - This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in completely dirty rooms were not clean dirty towels cigarette burns on the bedding sink was filthy the whole building was filthy I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel
- Brian (2/5): Can I post a less than 1 star review? - The worst place I have ever attempted to stay at. I checked in and the manager was very rude, telling me their system was down and he couldn’t check me in but as a favor would let me in my room just once. I got to the room, the floor is completely stained with who knows what, bedspread is burned and stained, sheet under it is stained with someone’s blood. I left and went to another hotel, manager was even ruder when I came down to show him this. DO NOT STAY HERE THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. CHECK OUT THE PICTURES
- Ralph (6/5): - It was alright ( nothing special) just needed a place to come out the cold
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Could not stay in room due to bugs and the heater not working ended up sleeping in car
- Kevin (10/5): - Some noise from the truck stop next door
- Lashanda (8/5): - For the price of the hotel it was good. It's hard to find a hotel to can smoke in and they have smoking rooms. The front desk people were very pleasant.
- Shakayla (10/5): - Great stay
- danapZ6639TJ (2/5): Do not go to Cumberland inn! There are plenty of places around here $80 a night or much less that are safer and cleaner. - My feince travels with his jub wich rewires us to stay in weekly rentals and sometimes do to convince motels. This motel was by far..out of many we have stayed at..the worst! Roaches worse than I have ever seen, Rats and or mice eating my thinks, people prostituting walking around naked in the parking lot to be able to get money from the truckers next door, and the worst thing of all out of all of that is a few times now I have witnessed someone high on God knows what in the parking lot or on the sidewalk very close very uncomfortable to my room digging in the gravel talking to themselves without any word or attention from the front desk! I finally had to let them know what was going on before they even did anything about it. I have traveled quite a bit and I've stayed in so many places but I have never experienced this and it quite literally scared the crap out of me. So for even $80 a night I promise you it is not worth it do not come to Cumberland in!
- Julian (2/5): - Walked in bugs no showerhead door didnt lock
- Joann (2/5): - The hotel sheets and everything dirty
- Rafael (2/5): - Had to call the police and make a report on some guy that was peeping through the crack of the door recording with his phone. From the day that I checked in and the morning that I checked out
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not the best part of town. The room was ok but could have been cleaner. Only half a roll of toilet paper. Even being a smoking room there was a oder that was unusual about it. It's ok just to come in and sleep shower etc etc
- Lisa (4/5): - Upon checkin, the clerk actively tried to discourage me from checking in. He made me incredibly uncomfortable. We were there for a concert at Nissan Stadium and needed to leave early the next day, so I didn’t need or expect luxury, but come on. The bathroom door didn’t close at all. It’s put on wrong. There was no shampoo, just hand soap. It was quiet and functional but I’m just so weirded out by the way the clerk acted when we arrived. Also I didn’t know but this is not a great area of town. You get what you pay for.
- David (4/5): Careful - I had received a statement from hotels.com to be checked by 2pm or my reservation would be canceled. When I arrived at the hotel the man working said i couldn't check in till 3 and all the rooms had been booked. I came back closer to 2pm and i did get checked. Before he would let me check in i was told i had to inspect the room i was staying in. We checked the room everything looked OK except the bathroom door couldn't shut due to poor design, not a problem it's just me and my hubby. We agree to the room and go back to the office to get the room key, then we're told that room we looked at was not the room we were getting. Wish i could have found another hotel at that point. We didn't know the hotel has a giant roach problem till later that night. We came in from dinner and found a 3 to 4 inch roach on the sink and at 3am there's really no but to stay the rest of the morning hoping that was the only one.
- ADRIANA (2/5): - Full of sketchy people and homeless around.
- Susan (4/5): - Not up to your standards. Stained towels, broken door in bathroom. Front door no extra latch, looked like it had been broken into and fixed poorly
- Donna (2/5): - Nasty
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrendous - We didn’t end up staying at this location. On arrival, the entire property was filthy. The check in process was questionable and unprofessional. The concierge man
guided us to our room which was odd, the hotel itself and room reeked of cigarette smoke and when he showed us the first room the stench of smoke was so intense we couldn’t walk in, so he showed us another room (non smoking) which still reeked of smoke. And also we found a dead cockroach on the floor (picture attached)
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Old beds need to be replaced.
- AMY (2/5): - Stink bugs all in the room, no dead bolt lock, cigarette burns in the comforters, just bad all around.
- Joe (2/5): - The management was wonderful, but the property was so bad that we were moved to another hotel. The Super 8, not much better, but livable. The management was absolutely wonderful and accommodating, but I cannot recommend this motel to anyone. It was the most disgusting place I have ever seen.
- TOKUJI (6/5): - 受付のおばさんが優しかった。
- Scott (4/5): - Got there and the hotel was full sent me to a super 8 that place was in disrepair elavator smelled like piss bad
- annawH5632AW (2/5): Denied Service to Disabled Person - Refused service to a disabled person fresh out of surgery. Paid for the room in full, owner asked if I wanted someone to come in and clean while I was in the hospital. When I returned, she had given my room away and wouldn't let me in the building. The owner knew I had paid and knew I was recovering from surgery.
- MC5fan (4/5): A late night "must stay." - This place was in need of many repairs. The clerk at the front desk took me to the room so I could decide whether I wanted to stay or not. My room, though dingy looking appeared clean. I stayed there out of necessity. It was a low cost stay. I don't expect more than what I pay for. I have seen much worse. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
- C8503GEac (4/5): Not the best not the worst - Although the people in the office were very nice, polite and respectful, and the housekeepers are nice too, the room we paid$75 for was bad! The blankets on top were nasty, we asked for clean ones and they gave us clean blankets, sheets were clean but the bed... Was broke,as in the box spring touching the floor in the corner of the bed broke, both beds extremely sunken down in the middle, we had no other choice so made the best out of it, better than sleeping on the street.micro and fridge clean and worked. They need to replace the beds and deep clean like wiping down walls and baseboard. Bathroom was actually very clean. Quiet and no one bothered me or my family and there's a restaurant next door and gas station. My advice ask to see the room before checking in.
- joanstrassner (2/5): Worst ever - Cumberland inn- Nashville
The place was an absolute dump. It's being used as an apartment house. The door jamb on my room (103) had been obviously kicked in, and the door would not lock. Everything was dirty. Everything was worn out. The bathroom was not just dirty, the room was falling apart. I would not recommend staying there, unless you have no other choice and then you should be armed. I walked to the office after checking in and seeing the room. I told the clerk I decided not to stay, and the clerk said that was fine. He refunded my cash, I politely thanked him and walked back to my vehicle and left. I thought it was over. The hotel then contacted booking.com and said I was a no-show. They wanted to charge me a no-show fee! After talking with the agent at booking.com, and explaining the situation, they took care of me. Stay away from this motel if you can.
- 524jamiem (2/5): Just dont bother - Guy who checked me in would rather be on his phone. Tennant's looked unemployed and all you can smell is what I would say is drugs. Walls are that thin you can hear what others are saying. I turned on TV Ty o drown them out but then they turned up their TV and mine did too
