• Alain (1/5): La fenêtre donne sur une cour immonde et à côté de la fenêtre un chauffe eau qui ce déclenche si une personne de l’hôtel - Partir ou plutôt fuir 🏃‍♂️ Un énorme chauffe eau qui fait un bruit de dingue. L’hôtel propose des chambres sur la jolie place de Paola et on arnaque les autres à l’arrière avec des promotions 😡😡😡

Clean and comfortable, with coffee, tea (and milk in the fridge) in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent value for money, The breakfast was fine, but limited by my being gluten-free, and by being supplied in the room itself.

• Tiger (8/5): Lo consiglio - Laddove è sito il B&B esistono più servizi pubblici (supermercato Conad, Culti religiosi, bar, rosticcerie, bei negozi). Lo consiglio! Le scale sono un po' difficoltose. Nel salir e nello scendere (soprattutto nello scendere) bisogna prestare molta attenzione

• Sig_Utente_booking (8/5): Pulito e in pieno centro - Proprietari gentilissimi e posizione più che centrale. Ci è stata assegnata la stanza che dava sul cortile intorno, quindi molto silenziosa. Ci sono un po' di scale per arrivare in camera, dunque non lo consiglio in caso di limitata mobilità. Il wifi potrebbe funzionare meglio, ma in vacanza poco importa. La struttura offre la possibilità di fare colazione in camera ma non c'era un tavolino. Poco male: abbiamo usato il mini frigo come appoggio.
• Pietro (10/5): Comunque lo consiglio….. molto carino - Molto carino, posizione centrale in pieno centro storico, vicino a tutti i locali, ristoranti e negozi. La proprietaria molto gentile ci ha anche consigliato alcuni locali dove mangiare, osteria da Eleonora molto carino abbiamo mangiato molto bene e a buon prezzo. Consiglio!!! Se devo trovare qualcosa di negativo ….dovrebbe migliorare la colazione, ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più casareccio invece delle solite merendine confezionate e poi non c’è spazio in camera per fare colazione, un tavolinetto piccolo e una sola sedia.

• Torben (10/5): Exceptional - We spent a week at B&B La Piazzetta. The hostess, Alessandra, gave us a warm welcome. The spacious room overlooks a charming little square with a fountain and restaurants. Alessandra is a wonderful host—she treated us to homemade cake and even drove us to the train station when we departed. If you arrive in Paola by train, first follow the main road up towards Paola until you reach a stone staircase. Go to the top, then turn left, followed by a right turn. Continue straight ahead until you reach the large gate leading into the small square where the hotel is located. Have a great trip!
• Monique (9/5): Great accommodation in the center of Paola. - Great location and our host Alessandra was kind enough to pick us up at the station and show us around. We got an even bigger room with the piazza view, very cozy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast voucher allowed us to have a very nice coffee and croissant in a nearby cafeteria. Communication was easy and it was overall a great stay, 10/10! Grazie mille Alessandra! Nothing, it is the second time I stay at La Piazzetta and all very good :-)

The owner very kindly dropped me at the train station. Breakfast at the cafe on the square was lovely. Nothing.
• Kaberry (10/5): I ❤️ Paola - as a solo traveller I thought it was slightly expensive but it was well worth it, amazing location close to the main square and not far from the beach or train station, the bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in with Egyptian cotton sheets and the on-suite bathroom facilities were just perfect! the town has the most amazing atmosphere and lovely people
• Bill (8/5): Very good - We were there only one night, however, on seeking to arrive from the train station, Allesandra offered to collect us. Not only that, we were driven back the next day. The residence overlooked a little square centred by a fountain and surrounded by cafe/bars/restaurants and a small church. The bed was extremely comfortable, and a coffee and pastry was provided at a cafe just downstairs. The residence was on the second floor, with access contained to steps. Everything else was fine although the key and door lock system in these beautiful old buildings in Italy sometime prove a challenge. An issue arose as we were unable to extract the key from the internal door when leaving. We therefore left it in the door, closing the internal second door when we departed.

• David (8/5): Hotel was good. Fitted our requirements. - Hotel was good & central to town. Narrow stairs to room with no lift. Parking was 300 metres away. Breakfast was at a bat opposite.
• Antonio (7/5): Convenient stay. The place should consider to include some conveniences from modern life. - Large room, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, good location. The keys and locks are very old, do not work well , and very difficult to use. Should be replaced by modern ones. The shower adjustment was broken and it was hard to take a shower. Should be fixed soon. Dangerous stairs and very difficult to handle luggage.
• Andy (8/5): Comfortable room in an excellent location - Spacious, comfortable room with a small terrace in an excellent location in the town centre of Paola, which is an interesting town to explore. Very quiet due to double glazing. Friendly staff who helped us find our way from the station. Great to have a kettle and tea-making facilities. The breakfast coupon to use at a nearby bar was not enough to cover a cappuccino and a brioche which seemed a bit surprising.
• Lauren (10/5): A comfortable hidden gem in a slice of real Italia. - The photos of this B&B really don’t do justice to the beauty of this accommodation. It is simple but charming and the view and location is exceptional. Breakfast was at a local cafe no more than 100m away and I ate one of the best croissants I’ve had in Italy. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed very comfortable. The host was so caring and helpful and even shuttled us to our bus pick up personally. I hope to return one day and would recommend to all! Nothing

• Jolyon (9/5): Nice, comfortable room in a lovely little town - Spacious, comfortable, good wifi, nice location (almost) overlooking the main square, nice breakfast, friendly host. It was a little difficult to find as I was only given the street name, not the number, but the host said she would fix this. Also be aware it can be quite loud outside until around 4am on a Saturday night (I imagine Fridays are similar).

Plus the breakfast is so fresh the lady gives a card with option of 2 Caffe bar to get breakfast. I recommend one of the best place to stay when you go to Paola. All is perfect
• Julia1402 (6/5): BBB - Basic Bed and Breakfast - I agree to most of the positive comments: The owner is very nice, the location is ideal if you are on transit, the place is very clean and the little town is cute. However, it was very, very basic. I would have loved to have a small table or a desk and something convenient to sit, not just one chair which I used anyway to leave some things on in the absence of any other place. I would have also appreciated if there would have been a drinking glass or at least a plastic cup. So, I found it very, very basic and I was disappointed to be forced to put my computer on the bed for work but at least the internet worked very well. I also think it would be good to have at least one English TV channel. Considering the price it might be ok in this way. Unfortunately, the restaurant across the road was closed (Wednesday) but I found another nice place around the corner for dinner. Breakfast in the coffee bar next door was ok. I found a parking space in the same road and the owner bought the parking ticket for me which I found very nice.
• Clefai (10/5): Great! - Right in centro storico, on picturesque square, in walking distance of Sanctuary San Franscesco di Paola and the beach. Big room, very nice equipped, very clean, i really loved it there. Breakfast in near bar (loved the croissant with nutella and cappucino). Alessandra picked me up on railway station and then drove me back there. She was very kind and helpful.
• 144nancye (10/5): Perfect Spot to stop on the way to Sicily - I choose this spot because it was half way between Sorrento and Sicily and picked this spot because of trip advisor reviews. Alessandra was wonderful and our room overlooked the tiny piazza. The only negative is that we had to phone her to let her know we arrived and we did not have service but a lady called her for us and she came right away as she knew we would be arriving. A note on this town, it is absolutely beautiful and a perfect halfway point from Sorrento or the Amalfi coast to Sicily. The drive along on the A3 was perfect and quick; a very nice surprise as we did not know what to expect. The entire A3 was a special treat in itself is the mountains and Mediterranean Sea were in added delight and feast for the eyes. If anyone is wondering about this drive you can contact me because I could not find any information about this drive and now that I did it I can highly recommend it The town is known for San Francesco do Paula. • AineC87 (10/5): Lovely spot - This was a great b&b in a central location and the view was lovely. The room was spacious and airy with a lovely balcony.There is a fab restaurant directly across the street . The owners offer pick up and drop off to the train. (Unfortunately my phone wasn't working so I never received the text from the owner, Alexandra , about collecting us until I had sweated my way up the steep hill with my rucksack!) Wifi was free. We had a choice of 2 bars/ cafes for breakfast the following morning with no time limit which was great as we could have a sleep in!
