Verified traveler (10/5): - Struttura affacciata direttamente sulla laguna, relax completo lontano dal caos e dal turismo di Bacalar. Possibilità di prendere il sole, fare il bagno o un giro in kajak. Colazione continentale a buffet molto varia, completa e ottima. Stanza molto bella, autonoma, in una casetta di legno nuova e ben rifinita. Pulizia e servizio ottimi!! Molto consigliata.

Really, a hidden gem between Bacalar and Chetumal worth checking out, especially if you want a quiet retreat from the Maya Riviera crowds.
Verified traveler (10/5): - Eines der schönsten Hotels auf unserer Yucatán Rundreise mit kleinen Mäkeln über die man gerne hinweg sieht. Wir hatten die Hütte mit Lagunenblick gebucht. Diese ist sehr schön und man hat wirklich einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die wunderschöne Lagune. Da die beiden Türen (eine normale Eingangstüre und in Richtung Lagune ausschließlich eine Screen-Türe) leider nicht so richtig dicht schließen, ist ein Moskitonetz nicht die schlechteste Idee. Insbesondere Abends kann es mit den Moskitos etwas ungemütlich werden. Da die Hütte insgesamt nicht dich ist, konnten wir allabendlich einen kleinen Geko im Bad begrüßen. Ansonsten hielten sich die tierischen Besuche, bis auf die freundl. hoteleigenen Hunde, in Grenzen. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich. Neben der Chefin Jenny & ihren Mann kann aber leider niemand englisch, d.h. spanisch-Basics sind definitiv von Vorteil. Man bekommt sich jedoch auch mit Händen und Füßen verständigt, sodass das ein überschaubares Problem ist. Absolut top: man kann Kanus ohne zusätzliche Kosten ausleihen und über die wunderschöne Lagune paddeln. Zudem haben sich Jenny und ihr Mann auch gerne etwas Zeit genommen um uns Tipps zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. in der Umgebung zu geben. Frühstück ist gut. Abendessen kann auch bestellt werden, da es nicht sonderlich viele Restaurants in der Umgebung gibt. Das Abendessen ist auch sehr gut! Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel in wundervoller Lage mit kleinen Mäkeln über die man gerne hinweg sieht.
