• Pedro (1/5): Poor communication, constant noise, unpleasant sewage smell, and lack of basic maintenance made this - location Very disappointing stay. The hotel was extremely noisy, the sound insulation between rooms is practically non-existent. We could hear conversations, doors, footsteps, and other noises from neighbouring rooms throughout the day and night, making it very difficult to rest. The bathroom had a strong sewage smell that spread into the bedroom, which was both unpleasant and unacceptable. On top of that, the skylight had a window that would not close properly, allowing a significant amount of light into the room early in the morning and further disrupting our sleep. Communication with the staff was also extremely poor. Messages went unanswered, and we never found anyone available during the stated check-in hours. It felt as though there was no staff presence at all. While the hotel left complimentary biscuits, tea, and milk, we discovered that the milk provided was expired, which raised serious concerns about attention to detail and guest safety. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the noise, the sewage smell, the lack of communication, the faulty window, and the expired food item, we would not recommend staying here.

• Fluixà Reig (2/5): - La ubicación, estaba muy cerca de una boca del metro. En una hora andando estabas en Harrods o en hora y poco en el Buckingham Palace. El alojamiento era una casa típica de Londres Nos toca la planta más alta, sin ascensor. Escalones muy incómodos, sobre todo con maletas. En el techo había una claraboia que entraba la luz. Tenía como un estor pero no funcionaba. Por lo que a las 5am ya entraba toda la luz. En el baño, encendías el grifo y olía muy mal a desagüe.

Chambre dégueulasse, murs pleins de traces et de bouff dessus, moisi partout dans la salle de bain! Odeurs plus que noséabonde dans la salle de bain qui est plus que rétréci, il faut enjambé le toilette pour sortir de la salle de bain. Odeurs d'égouts ignoble! Moquette dans les escaliers de l'hôtel rempli de tâches et très sales! Bref peu cher certe mais bon, un minimum de propreté n'aurais pas été du luxe tout de même ! Lit super dur on sentait les ressorts.
• Vicent (8/5): Pequeñas las habitación pero cómoda estancia. - Es una pequeña finca de pocos pisos, dividida en varias habitaciones. El check in es muy sencillo, te dan la clave de entrada y tiene un sobre con tu llave esperándote. La habitación pequeña pero con todo lo necesario, toallas, café, microondas… La relación calidad precio fue más que satisfactoria. Una pequeña reforma de las habitaciones no estaría nada mal.

• Carine (1/5): Toilet broken, no support or communication from host - Not too far from train station Check in easy The toilet was broken and pouring constantly making so much noise I couldn't sleep for my whole stay. This also meant the flush did not work. I kept calling and messaging the host and they never responded during all 2 days I was there (although they did respond for my check in) it felt like they knew something was wrong and they didn't want to fix it. I think I should really not have paid what I did to end up spending 2 sleepless nights with no working toilet.

Good price. Nice location. I don’t think that I didn’t like something about the property. Everything was met my expectations and I enjoyed my stay. And look forward to staying again when I will be around.

• Cristina (7/5): Por la ubicación y el precio merece mucho la pena. - Pudimos dejar nuestras maletas antes de hacer el check-in, lo cual fue algo bastante bueno ya que llegamos muchas horas antes. Todo es con código y tarjeta, así que no nos cruzamos mucho con personal. Nuestra habitación era algo pequeña, pero no nos resulto un problema. Hacía algo de calor dentro, lo que siendo abril era bueno, porque no pasamos frío dentro en ningún momento (en verano puede ser un problema). La cama para dos era bastante cómoda y teníamos toallas de sobra. La ubicación es increíble, lo mejor, tienes un metro cerca, y sitios de comida bastante baratos. El baño olía mucho a cañerías por lo que teníamos que tener la puerta cerrada. Las ventanas era difícil subirlas y bajarlas. Tampoco había mucha intimidad ya que las ventanas daban de frente a otros edificios, por lo que para cambiarnos teníamos que bajar la cortina ya que en el pequeño baño era imposible cambiarse. Las paredes son de papel, por lo que una noche escuchamos a una pareja totalmente. Y uno de los de abajo fumaba por lo que al subir olía a marihuana la escalera.
• Serena (4/5): Non ci ritornerei! - Niente Ariatore in bagno non funzionante, polvere ragnatele in ogni angolo della stanza. Improvvisamente la doccia smette di funzionare, la pressione dell’acqua appare visibilmente fioca e pare sbloccarsi se si tira lo sciacquone. Le luci sul letto iniziavano ad andare all’intermittenza al chiudersi della porta della cabina doccia. Termosifone in camera sempre acceso e pieno di polvere, abbiamo provato a spegnerlo in maniera vana, contattato anche l’assistenza su booking che ci ha detto di chiamare il numero della reception, ma non avendo una sim inglese siamo stati impossibilitati. Non siamo una coppia esigente, abbiamo viaggiato abbastanza anche in altri continenti e sappiamo adattarci, ma qui gli standard di igiene sono del tutto assenti. Rammaricata, perché non ho scattato alcuna foto all’orrore li presente, ma credetemi non lo consiglio.

• Martina (2/5): Scegliete altro - La posizione unica cosa buona, per il resto consiglio solo di stare il più lontano possibile da questo hotel Ho soggiornato per tre notti al Mathinson Hotel di Londra e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata decisamente negativa. La camera era mal organizzata, senza veri punti di appoggio se non un minuscolo tavolino. Le tende oscuranti non funzionavano affatto, lasciando entrare molta luce già dalle prime ore del mattino. La TV non era funzionante e l’acqua della doccia era impossibile da regolare: o bollente o gelida. Anche il bagno risultava estremamente angusto e la pulizia generale piuttosto mediocre. Un altro aspetto molto deludente è stato il servizio: ho contattato la struttura per assistenza e ho ricevuto risposta solo dopo 24 ore, senza alcun reale supporto. La sicurezza, poi, è stata il problema più grave. Una sera siamo rientrati trovando il cancello scardinato (che il mio ragazzo ha provato a sistemare) e la porta d’ingresso, che avrebbe dovuto aprirsi solo con codice, si apriva semplicemente spingendola, senza alcun controllo. Nel complesso, un soggiorno da incubo: mi sono sentita poco sicura e per nulla tutelata. Non lo consiglierei.

Muy amable el dueño, perdimos la tarjeta de entrada en la habitación, llamamos y en 10 minutos teníamos otra llave para entrar, muchas gracias
• Sorour (5/5): Overall, ok for 1 night. - I liked the overall cleanness compared to the price. Also, they provided a tiny set of coffee powder and biscuits for the morning, plus the heater that worked at night and kept me warm. I waited a long time outside because I didn’t know there was a code for self check-in, and I couldn’t access my email due to weak network in the area. There was also no sign with the name of the place, so I wasn’t sure if I was at the right location. Thanks to the next-door hotel, I found the building and how to check in. I tried calling the numbers on Booking.com, but no one answered or replied, which was very disappointing and worrying. When I finally accessed my email and got the code, I entered, but the key left in an envelope with my name did not open the assigned room. There was no staff available, and it felt like a puzzle. After calling another number on the envelope, staff arrived and realized it was the wrong key and replaced it. There were no instructions for things in the room, like how to turn on the heater. I had to call again and was told to find a valve hidden behind a cupboard, which was very hard to access. In the morning, I found the kettle was not clean and had particles inside. Washing it was difficult because the bathroom sink was extremely small. It was also very hard to sleep due to noise: a constantly dripping toilet and sounds from the upper floor late at night. Overall, poor communication and multiple issues made the stay stressful.
• Clare-bear (5/5): Broken but good value - The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk from Kensington Olympia overground. The check in process was simple and the bed very comfy and clean. It's a cheap hotel so you get what you pay for I suppose. The shower was either scalding or there was no water and the knobs stiff to adjust. I felt unclean for the 3 days I stayed here and couldn't wash my hair. The TV didn't work. The number Booking.com sent me to contact someone was out of date. Maybe they would have fixed it if I had the right number. There's also no small light only a main light.

• Sara (3/5): HORRIBLE - La ubicación del alojamiento es buena, en un barrio agradable, con buena conexión al centro de Londres en trasporte público. Sin embargo, la experiencia se vio empañada por la falta de limpieza. Al llegar a la habitación el baño estaba sin limpiar, había una toalla mojada en la ducha y el espejo cubierto de una capa blanca. Avise del problema y solo se llevaron la toalla mojada, pero no limpiaron. tuvimos que limpiar nosotros mismos con nuestros propios desinfectantes. ( había leído los comentarios) el tamaño de la habitación para hacer turismo es suficiente. yo lo elegí por la nevera, micro y hervidor de agua. Me dieron una habitación vía booking (53)y al llegar me dieron la 59. lo único que parecia muy limpio eran las sábanas y toallas. LA EXPERIENCIA HORRIBLE fue darnos cuenta de que cuando apagabas la luz salían cucarachas, lo que considero inaceptable. DEBERIAN MEJORAR LA LIMPIEZA Y EL CONTROL DE PLAGAS. Tuvimos que dormir con la luz encendida para que las cucarachas no salieran. Es una casa antigua reformada, como casi todo en Inglaterra no tiene ascensor, pero necesita una mano de pintura, estaba todo manchado de a saber que..

• Elizabeth (10/5): Excelente habitación con todo lo necesario. Zona ideal! - Todo muy limpio y con todo lo necesario. Cama cómoda, habitación pequeña pero acogedora y luminosa con una gran ventana. Bonito color de las paredes en tono menta. Amenities incluidas como kettle, café, leche y galletitas. Check in y check out rápido, práctico y fácil. Buen detalle que te guarden la maleta antes y después de la entrada y salida. Volveré de nuevo! 🩷

A very helpful member of staff who tried his best to find a room that was nearly suitable! Sainsbury's on the corner is handy. It was hillarious, Totally Fawlty Towers. Room.1 .. the tv didnt work and no kettle, contacted the nice member of staff by phone, and he tried to find me a room....these are the attempts.. Room 2 ....toilet was broken, water running continually, couldn't flush it. Room 3 .. hadn't been cleaned. Room 4 ... tv did'nt work! But it had a kettle, fridge and a micro,.and by then i was loosing the will, so I just stayed put! No toiletries as described.

• Gaelle (5/5): - L'emplacement (même si la district line était fermée le week end et que les navettes de remplacement entre la station West Kensington et Earl"s court ne circulaient pas comme indiqué sur l'application TFL Go...). La chambre très exiguë (et devant la sortie donc beaucoup de nuisances sonores liées au passage), les sanitaires dont l'eau coule en continu (fuite), la propreté très moyenne, une minuscule table de nuit donc rien pour poser des affaires (le plateau de courtoisie et la bouilloire sont rangés dans le petit placard). Et ce n'est pas vraiment un hôtel car on ne voit aucun personnel et il n'y a pas eu un seul passage dans la chambre entre le lundi et le dimanche pour un quelconque nettoyage
• Lidia (8/5): Repetiría, ya que el barrio me gustó mucho, está cerca del metro y del centro, y la habitación estaba bien. - Buena ubicación. No está en el centro pero es zona 2 (centro es zona 1), por lo que está bastante bien de cercanía con el metro. Tienes una parada de metro a 3 minutos andando. El barrio muy tranquilo y se veía bastante bien en cuanto a gente, tranquilidad y ambiente. No tiene ascensor y no hay nadie allí que pueda atenderte si necesitas algo, tendrías que escribirle a través de booking, ya que no vi a nadie allí presente en los 3 días que estuve.
• Aylin (4/5): the location and price is good if you are there to sleep, otherwise not worth it to spend time at - the location is very good. there is a Sainsbury's, some food options, a pub and a coffee shop a couple minutes away from the hotel and the tube station is only a 6 min walk, which is good for tourists if you are only there to sleep and plan on exploring the city. the tube line is the district line so you have access to almost all of London and the important bits with only one mode of transport. my room was not ready for check-in but the man who I reached by phone quickly came to check the issue he immediately gave me a room upgrade without charge. the rooms and especially the bathrooms felt very dirty and uncared for. even though the staff was attentive and gave me a free upgrade for the inconvenience, checking-in to your room just to see the dirty towels and sheets and trash of previous users is a shame and is very much a disappointing experience.

ARRIVIAMO ALLE 23 E COME DA INDICAZIONI ENTRIAMO E TROVIAMO LA CHIAVE DELLA NOSTRA CAMERA N55, BUONA CAMERA ANCHE CALDA PECCATO CHE NON CERA ELETTRICITÀ IN CAMERA, SUONIAMO AL FAMOSO PORTIERE CHE VI DICINO DI ESSERCI MA IN REALTA NON CE MAI(QUEL GIORNO CERA PER CASO) GLI SPIEGIAMO LUI CERCA DI ATTACCARE LA CORRENTE MA NULLA, QUINDI FATTA MEZZANOTTE CI DA UNA CAMERA SOSTUTUTIVA, CHE SCOPRIAMO ESSERE PIU PICCOLA E RISCALDAMENTO ROTTO(A FEBBRAIO)GLI DICIAMO KE X QUELLA SERA OK, MA IL GIORNO DOPO AVVREMMO VOLUTO LA STANZA GIUSTA. SPARITI NEL NULLA!!! UN SOGGIORNO AL FREDDO!!! CHIAMATO TUTTI I GIORNI AL NUMERO CHE TI DANNO(MAI NESSUNA RISPOSTA) E BOOKING CHE PUNTUALMENTE TEMPOREGGIAVA!!!SPERATE CHE VI VADA TUTTO BENE, PERCHE SE CE UN INTOPPO SIETE FREGATI. NON VI RISPONDE NESSUNO, SIETE ABBANDONATI A VOI STESSI, E QUESTO MI RIFERISCO SOPRATUTTO A BOOKING CHE DOVREBBE RISOLVERE I PROBLEMI. INVECE NIENTE! BOOKING DA INTERMEDIARIO DOVREBBE RISOLVERE ANCHE INTERVENENDO SUL BLOCCARE IL PAGAMENTO, INVECE NULLA! SONO QUASI 20 ANNI CHE USO BOOKING MI SONO SEMPRE TROVATO BENE MA QUESTA VOLTA CREDO SIA L'ULTIMA.(PRECISAZIONE, BOOKING MI HA EMESSO UN BUONO DA 20€, CHE SUI 200 CIRCA PAGATO SONO IL 10%, X STARE AL FREDDO) NON MI INTERESSAVA UN BUONO, MA STARE AL CALDO LA SERA QUANDO SI RIENTRAVA SINCERAMENTE!!!

• Beata (9/5): Polecam, na przespanie się w świetnej lokalizacji :) - Super wygodnie, duża łazienka, lodówka, mikrofalówka… i WiFi :) Jedyna wada to okno- jak wiał wiatr, wszystko latało

• Gaia (5/5): Camera piccola con un ospite in più - Posizione ottima vicino alle stazioni metro, in più anche i musei erano facilmente raggiungibili a piedi con 40 Min di camminata. Mini frigo in camera molto utile, due cuscini a testa per scegliere morbidezza. Due asciugamani a testa molto grandi. Pulizia inesistente. Sono passati solo una volta a raccogliere l'immondizia in 5 giorni. Non hanno mai spazzato in camera. Quando è stato fatto presente che un topo era passato di notte a mangiare i biscotti lasciati dallo stesso staff (i biscotti sono i Lotus che vengono lasciati insieme allo zucchero, al caffè solubile e latte liofilizzato) e nostri, non hanno fatto niente. Né cambiato camera né passati a pulire, né siamo stati ricontattati. Camera estremamente piccola, non c'è spazio per una valigia. Caldaia terribile, estremamente altalenante e di sera si è spengeva in continuazione passando da caldo infernale a gelo polare. Per questo prezzo in questa zona va bene tutto, ma almeno un po' di assistenza per un topo sarebbe stata gradita.
• Noemí (1/5): El personal poco atento - No pudimos alojarnos en el hotel porque al llegar la tarjeta de la habitación no funcionó e intentamos contactar con el alojamiento pero ni nosotros no booking pudo, por lo que nos realojaron en otro hotel.

• Sharon Ashley (5/5): - The price for last minute booking and location were good. That's why I stayed here a 2nd time. The walls are not sound proof, so bare in mind you'll be hearing the people from all the rooms. On this trip, they initially put me in one room that needs (in my opinion) renewing and new windows. Then I moved to the same room I was last time and in the middle of the night I was greeted by a little tiny room companion. ✨️🤍 I was given an option to move rooms, however I opted to stay in the same room as the only other room available (they were fully booked for the days I was there) had a guest that had the TV on blast. I message the hotel on the booking.com messaging platform and until now I had no reply. I want to thank the boy that was in the reception at night time to help me out with all this and come with a solution for my problems with what he could do. I will have to think next time if I come to London, if I'm staying in this hotel or not. Even if the reception people are super nice and friendly. I think the hotel could do with some reconstruction in the rooms and make the guest feel more comfortable.

• Sulaimaan (1/5): Terrible service - Good location Found bed bugs bites on us, told the worker who didn’t even act surprised and since told us we would receive a refund and compensation however we have not heard anything from the hotel despite multiple messages. Not impressed with their cleanliness or manner, couldn’t think of a worse hotel.

• Iola-Belle (4/5): - Location was good. One staff member was rude and shouted at us. We got locked outside for 40 minutes as they changed the door code and didnt tell us. Smell of sewage in bathroom, we moved room once as it was so bad. The pictures show a microwave and fridge be aware not all rooms have this!

• Δημητρης (1/5): Terrible - Nothing I HOPE THIS REVIEW MAKES YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE So we have booked a room for 3 nights in this hotel.We arrive on the first night and we notice that the heating doesn’t work and the door is broken so the room was freezing.I immediately reach out to the owner but I never heard back from her .after our long second day we arrive back to the hotel to sleep ,at about 2 am we hear a strange noise under a bed which was a MOUSE .We immediately left and tried calling the owner which of course didn’t reply We were lucky that there was a hotel next door so we could sleep . I went to find the owner the next day but she was nowhere to be found so I talked to the cleaning lady which she gave me her e mail not even her phone to speak to her . I sent her an email which of course she never answered. I am still waiting to get an answer for one of my messages and we lost so much money because of her .PLS DONT BOOK THIS PLACE
