• Wendy (5/5): Palermo is prachtig, deze b&b is vreselijk. - Locatie We moesten €10,- extra betalen omdat we om 14.00 arriveerden. De kamer was al klaar en schoon, maar incheck was pas vanaf 16.30 uur ( veel te laat vind ik). Gastheer was slecht gehumeurd en ongeïnteresseerd. We kregen een geschreven bonnetje om ergens anders het ontbijt te nuttigen. Hij verdient het te gemakkelijk op deze locatie. Ik zou hier niet weer naar toe gaan. Ook geen minibar op de kamer en afvoer op de badkamer stinkt.

• Helene Holm (10/5): Family Vacation, Perfect location - We had two rooms for 5 days. Perfect location in the middle of Palermo. Santos is very friendly and speak English very well. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had the room with the view to the cathedral. Very nice view to wake up to in the morning. We had a rental car and manage to find parking in the surrounding neighbourhood. We had several day trips from Palermo. We can highly recommend to stay here. Did I forget to mention the best ice cream in Sicily is just around the corner. The only thing that we missed in our room was a smal water cooker to make coffee/the in our room. • Simona (1/5): Peggiorato tantissimo dal 2020 sotto tutti i punti di vista - Niente Tutto. Accoglienza scortese e poco professionale. Check-in alle 18:00 invece che alle 16:30 perché organizzato pulizia split condizionatori in orario di accesso della clientela. Corrente che saltava spesso e arroganza del personale. Un disastro Ah ci è stato vietato buttare la carta igienica nel WC. Mai successo in Italia e non era successo nel 2020

• Luigi (4/5): Nice week in very noisy place - The place is nice and the location is great. The view on the cathedral is beautiful and the room is clean. The staff is nice, although at first sight they seemed a bit unwelcoming. It was clear they were just busy. Later, they were nice. However, the room needs significant improvement concerning noise isolation. It was impossible to sleep. A lot of voices from people outside. Once they finished there was heavy noise, something like restaurants cleaning up or preparing for the day after and street cleaning. It continued all the night. I think it’s a good place for heavy sleepers. For all the others, I would not recommend it.

• Derya (1/5): miserable.you as booking.com have to control that man SANTO.What writes in booking is not right .in properties BREAKFAST - we were 2 couples for 8/3/25 OZTREVES and DIZDAR FAMILY.we wanted to come before check in but SANTO requested 10 euro for each room for early checkin.we didnt want and came around 17.30 from CATANIA ,had no phone ( internet),difficulty in parking etc.although we said MAY BE we can come and leave our baggages but we couldnt.SO when we arrived there was nobody and as you see below we phoned more times he didnt answer and came after 45 min .Thanks to the neighbour shops,they helped us .HE WAS ANGRY TO US,why so late..HE HAD TO KNOW TT TOURISTS DONT HAVE INTERNET.AND WE CAME AT 17.30 after CHECK İN TIME.WE WERE ALSO VERY ANGRY.2)HE İS VERY SLOW ,first he took bicycle upstairs and slowly give our keys.3)WE BOUGHT THE ROOM BEC. BREAKFAST IS İNCLUDED(in properties it says so,also breakfast in bed?…But he gave us ticket(piece of paper)for breakfast outside and DİDNT SAY ANYTHİNG TT breakfast isincluded up to 5 euro,although we thought it, eat whatever you eat like in a hotel and paid 25 euros.FINALLY HE WAS VERY RUDE.he had to think that tosr people are coming for one night .BOOKING. • Mark (2/5): - When we arrived you had to walk up a narrow staircase. The person that checked us in didn’t offer to help with our luggage. The narrow staircase was very difficult to go up with our luggage. I almost fell backwards several times. It was so noisy that it was very difficult to fall asleep through out the night. Around 7 am the noise started even more louder. Monday and Tuesday children were going to school and the noise from them was really bad. When they started school you heard from the floor above us like furniture dragging across the floor. Checking out again no offer to help with our luggage. Would not stay there again. Would not recommend it!

• Mónika (3/5): I definitely do not recommend this accommodation. - The accomodation is near the old city center. We had to wait an hour plus (!) for the representative of the accommodation provider compared to the agreed time. As we had half a day in Palermo, it affected us very badly. Although the accommodation is next to the Cathedral, the room has only one 30X30 cm window, from which you can see the wall of the neighboring building. The air conditioner is a very loud and robust device, you cannot use it if you want a noise-free night. So it was very hot in the room.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - We loved the location of the property. We had arrived early and the room was ready if we wanted to pay extra but we decided not to. The location is what sold the property to us- very convenient as we were only there for one night and wanted to see as much as we could. There’s lots of restaurants and bars nearby as well as little shops and of course the cathedral is opposite and we had a lovely view of it from our room.

The air-conditioner needs to be cleaned as it really dries out the air and if you are allergic impossible to breathe. Bad smell in the toilet & room, water in the shower goes out only in a few hours, the reason received "its electronic shower", no idea what does it mean

The window was in one corner with an air conditioning pipe going through it. The toilet had a pump system which was noisy and the shower tray filled very quickly. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Overall it was good but would have been even better if we'd had a window with a view.

• RedHeadPeter (10/5): What a location! - Wow, what a location. We asked for a room with a view of the cathedral. The balcony window looks out onto the square in fromt of the cathedral and on stepping out onto the balcony - there it is. And the place is busy all day, students who attend the school in the same building the hotel is in early in the morning waiting for classes to start, people enjoying breakfast at the cafes in the street, tourists visiting the Cathedral. Step outside and you are straight onto one of the main streets of Palermo which runs from the Palazzo Reale with its wonderful mosaics at one end to the port at the other end. The accommodation isn't complicated - you get a decent size room with the usual stuff like wifi and air-con and you get a bunch of keys so you can get in and out. But you don't normally see anyone. Rooms are cleaned while you are out. It works.
• ROBBY (4/5): - Location is prefect but property sound proof is non existing. Very noisy in the morning. The staff and service is disappointing. Informed arrival time but no one was there. Need to message and call but still no reply. Need to wait at entrance for 15 mins. Later was asked to pay cash and said credit card payment not working. When mentioned I don’t have enough cash, the staff requested me to go withdraw cash from machine. Total paid is more than what quoted in Expedia website. And never return change as in assuming “keep the change” although it is not much but should have return the change and only keep it if the guest say so. Overall bad experience
• geniegal (10/5): Amazing Location - We loved this property. Our room was very spacious and the location is fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot and the WiFi good. There are restaurants and cafes close by and most of the tourist sites are within easy walking distance. Our host, Santo was very helpful and had some good restaurant suggestions. We arrived into Palermo by train and the property is an easy taxi ride from the station or a 20 minute walk or so if you prefer. We walked back to catch the train without any trouble. We would recommend this property for it’s location and comfort.

• Aslak (4/5): Central, but noisy - Great location, but very noisy rooms. The B&B is located at a secondary school ovelooking their outdoor gym/play area. Breakfast at nearby cafe - vouchers coveret approxh half the costs.
• Mary (1/5): Grim. - Proximity to Cathedral Appalling drainage problems. On using the toilet or the sink a foul smelling greeny black sludge burst from the plug hole in the shower unit. The stench was indescribable. The owner did attempt to find another room but eventually said everywhere was booked up “and anyway it was only for one night”. He offered a complimentary breakfast or dinner which was declined. The room had to be slept in unfortunately with the bathroom door firmly closed. Impossible to use the facilities and had to shower elsewhere. No offer of refund.

Santo nos tuvo muchísima paciencia el primer día esperándonos para dejar nuestras valijas antes de hora y luego a la noche para hacer el check in. La zona es muy linda y muy tranquila de noche, a diferencia de otras zonas de Palermo.

There is no elevator and I am guessing it is because the property is located in an old building in the city center so access would be a bit complicated for some people and having heavy luggages is surely not great. there are only few stairs though.

It is a school building with classrooms above, which I did not realize until the first morning when I heard all the noise of kids outside and then above my head when they went in for class. Nära till allt som museer, marknader, restauranger, frukostställen osv. Rent och fint på rummet. Bra att ha tillgång till kyl i det gemensamma köket.
