Guest Reviews
- Chris (8/5): Original - Original decor, very arty.
Pleasant stay, friendly and welcoming staff, nice breakfast
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Needs considerable work, very outdated and messy. Breakfast very poor. Curtains hanging off windows which we’re filthy. Very tired, dated and smelt. By no stretch of the imagination is it a boutique b and b
- Gillian (8/5): Will stay again! - Friendly, welcoming, quirky B&B. Good value for money. Loved my bedroom and the facilities there. Also my conversations with the owner and other guests.
- Rena (8/5): Friendly, quirky, cheap and would stay again. - For me I loved the quirky setting but it’s not every ones cup of tea. Friendly and cosy with homely feeling.
Not for the person that likes perfection over intrigue and friendliness
- Paul (10/5): - Great Easter weekend local buses good service. Great eat and drinks and seaside fun.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly and creative atmosphere - A bed-and-breakfast with an unusual, creative, and dog-oriented atmosphere. Pets are warmly welcomed and well-treated. Rooms artistically decorated, with all of the essential comforts. Service is not lacking, and problems quickly resolved. Breakfast is more than the standard "continental", and different every day. If you need a standard hotel or dislike dogs, you would do well to go elsewhere - otherwise you should be happy here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Out of the ordinary - Very arty and quirky, with a charming host. Not at all your standard B and B. A fascinating place to visit and wonder at all the contents. I received a warm welcome and was provided with everything I needed. For an adventure try the chain bed!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing to like here, this is NOT a boutique guest house
- Pawel (6/5): - Strange hotel
- Alan (8/5): - This is a wonderfully different place to any I have ever stayed in. The Lady owner made us very welcome and even sat and chatted with us over breakfast. I would recommend that you view the online pictures of the themed rooms before booking as they may not be to your taste but we found them to be quirky but great fun. We left with a smile on our faces.
- Ian (8/5): Working in Ramsgate - Room was clean and tidy but it was A bit to far fro the seafront forme
- chris (10/5): Nice B an B - Nice little B an B with a lovely Landlady def differant from your normal hotel which is nice change
- Jan (4/5): Nice owner but disappointing property - The bed was clean and quite comfy but the decor and finish in our room and common areas left a lot to be desired. It definitely needs some work on overall appearance , tidiness and appeal. Quite disappointing, we wouldn't book again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cleanliness and privacy don't exist here - I visited the Little Tree Boutique while on business, my first impression weren't great I entered what appeared to be an old pub, there was clutter everywhere and the place look like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time, the owner explained that my room had been double booked and I was given a room at the top of the property which was full of toys, I know this is supposed to be a themed hotel but the rooms I saw were very poorly decorated and appeared dirty, my bed covers and pillows seems like they weren't fresh, there was a shared TV area that was much the same and had a cat play area in, it just felt really unclean, the bathroom was also used as a food preparation area with a coffee machine and a microwave only a few feet from the toilet, not my idea of hygienic?? however the place could be an absolute gold mine if the clutter was cleared and the room redecorated properly a real doors placed on the rooms instead of plastic sliding doors with no locks, the downstairs could also be cleaned and renovated to allow the residents somewhere to mix and have food or drinks, all said the owner was a lovely friendly lady who allowed my to store my bicycle down stairs so that I had easy access for cycling and told me where I should go cycling and where to go for food which was very nice, the coffee was also great!!
I wouldn't stay here again!!
- Joseph (8/5): overnight - Short and sweet. Soon to revisit
- Verified traveler (8/5): Like a step back in time! - Unfortunately, I had to cut my two-day stay short due to a family matter but this was a VERY interesting place to stay!
L.ike stepping back into the late 60’s - my era - with a very ‘hippie’ theme to it! The landlady, Speedy, was very accommodating and made me welcome.
Unfortunately, I chose the weekend when Thanet Council decided to do overnight road repairs RIKGHT OUTSIDE the window. Nothing that Speedy could have done about that so this is NOT a criticism of her or The Little Tree.
The room was bright and airy and the bed..........! The bed has to be seen! It’s made of black metal chains and swings to and fro if you want it to! I didn’t, so the retaining bolt ‘screeched’ along the metal frame every time I moved. Was comfortable enough though!
Would I stay again? Yes......but I’d have the bed in ‘free’ mode AND find out if Thanet Council ar5e doing anymore overnight road repairs!
- Verified traveler (4/5): The Little Tree Boutique B&B - Cheap isn't always cheerful
