- William (8/5): - Lovely Indian restaurant joined to the hotel. Hotel Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Located on the high street. Car parking to the rear. 1 space per room. No issues
- Connor (6/5): Good stay, great people, good location. - Location, size of the rooms. Positive and helpful staff. We had the breakfast and it was delicious. Shower and vanity. Takes a while for the hot water to turn on and the shower barely has any water pressure.

- elizabeth (8/5): - Welcoming staff, great breakfast All good
- Bernice (7/5): Was ideal for what we wanted - We didn’t use the pub but the bedrooms were very clean and comfy The car park was small but we managed to get in
- Shelagh (8/5): Tha staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. - Breakfast was excellent. Shower was a little difficult for very tall people, but fine for everyone else.
- David (5/5): We booked the wrong venue and will listen more to the advice offered by a family member living locally - Location Shower could not be made to work. No staff around in the morning to discuss problem with.
- Samanthajane (5/5): On the whole this is a lovely place to stay and I would come back but I would insist on a clean bathroom next time if I - Room was good TV was excellent The bathroom wasn’t clean it hadn’t been hoovered the bath had soap marks and hadn’t been cleaned and there was thick layers of dust in the bathroom and over the door frames top of tv and the shelves and only 1 large towel. No water in room which was meant to be there.

- David (10/5): Great place to stay. - Easily accessible, parking was a bonus. It’s a very old building, but homely and comfortable, nice to have a bath to use as well as a shower.
The staff were excellent, friendly, professional and so helpful. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Anthony (8/5): Value for money - Eddie good Bathroom needs little bit of work doing but who cares!
- windycar (8/5): - Good room, comfortable beds and the food was nice. Friendly regulars at the bar lounge and private parking to the rear of the inn.
- nikki (7/5): - De locatie was top, alleen wat herrie van de bar. De badkamer was verouderd en niet heel schoon
- Abigail (7/5): -
- Lori (8/5): - Very friendly and welcoming staff. Easy to access the rooms from the car park.
- Charlene (9/5): Great host - Room was lovely and spacious.
Never been escorted to room before but the host took us up and explained everything very well. Had a beautiful bath.
Pool table downstairs was good fun Towels were dirty, rubbish under bed
Menu for attached restaurant could have more options. Decided not to eat on site as I don't eat curry. Breakfast options not great either
- Jessica (8/5): -
- Gareth (6/5): Excellent food, unattractive and soulless bar - The attached restaurant food was outstanding - some of the best Asian food tasted! Good sized bedrooms. The bar area is soulless- not cosy or welcoming. Geared towards sports television. Small bed.

- Hiller (7/5): Eight celebrate a birthday in Hythe! - The location of the hotel is excellent if you're intending to visit the town of Hythe. The hotel had parking and we managed to secure a spot here which was extremely useful.
The room was clean, well appointed and the bathroom was in very good condition, and the shower was hot and relaxing. The WiFi worked, but we didn't use the TV, so cannot comment on this. The hotel was quiet at night considering it was Easter Sunday. If I am honest, the bed was a little too small and the mattress was very uncomfortable. I suffered from quite a bit of back pain in the morning from a night spent on that bed.
Added to this, the council bin collection at 5am on Monday morning, where the empty bottles were collected, was something of a rude awakening as well, but probably not the fault of the hotel!
- Steph (5/5): The hotel was clean, but basic. Ok for one night, but wouldn’t stay longer - The shower didn’t work, and the lamps didn’t work.
- Michael (7/5): - Helpful staff and good location.. We were on a cycling trip and the hotel were great securely storing our bikes. The facilities were basic, particularly the bathroom, which needed updating. It was fine for our purpose and length of stay.
- stacey (7/5): -
- Natasha (5/5): Good location but unless you’re into heavy metal it’s maybe not for you . - Location, room was a good size. Gentleman who checked us in was very helpful Very very loud & heavy music in the bar meant you couldn’t hold any real conversation ( which fortunately couldn’t be heard in bedroom) charger £18 for two of the little bottles of cheap prosecco , I thought that was astronomical ! there was a very strong smell of bleach in the hotel area ( not necessarily a bad thing ) but the bin in our room was full from previous guests so did make you question the overall care to hygiene.
- Les (8/5): Excellent choice for an overnight stay - Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was okay. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
Location was good and value for money was excellent. Breakfast was okay but could have been a little hotter.
- Amy (2/5): N/a - How close it was to the le shuttle The shower didn't work .. literally dripped out freezing cold and there were pins hanging out of the skirting boards. Needs a lot of tlc for the price
- Stacey-leigh (10/5): -
- Alex (6/5): - Staff were good, toilet/ bathroom floor was on a lean
- Robin (7/5): Basic , clean room a little tired but excellent value . Staff very nice and helpful. - Breakfast good Shower needs updating
- Williams (10/5): - Great location and friendly host. Room was simple, clean and had everything we needed. The resturant downstairs was lovely and pub below shut dead on time. Very nice to have the pool table accessible!
- Stuart (3/5): Would not choose again. - It was extremely difficult to find and parking whilst achievable was very difficult. We phoned to ask about evening meal but no answer. On entering the room in March, the window was open and the room was freezing. Two lights ( one in bathroom over sink and one bedside light) failed to work. The staff member was polite, and carried our bags, but did not really introduce himself. The pounding music from the bar kept us awake which was not welcome after quite a long drive. Definitely not restful.
Sad we don’t get away often these days and this was not a great start. Not best for “ Le Shuttle”.
- Catherine (10/5): - The staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The food I the restaurant was delicious.
- Jacquinot (4/5): -
- Olivier (6/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Trip to see friends in hythe for the evening - As midweek and flexible it was great to find a car park space
- Pete (6/5): As above - Nothing particularly stands out as it is just a budget hotel and get what you pay for. As above
- ishy40 (9/5): Nice, but can be improved just a little - Kiran was so polite and helpfull, room was so nice and clean , staff was nice , good parking space etc I woke up to go downstairs i couldnt go out, i knocked on door and i rang 3 times but nobody answered the phone, so i had to go out from back entrance to the front in rain, sure they will sorted for future, would be good to have another entrance to hotel rooms aswell, didnt like to go thru the pub entrance to hotel, just my opinion really ,apart from this it was nice stay
- carolyn (8/5): - Parking and convenient to visit Hythe The shower really needs updating as didn’t work very well
- Simon (8/5): -
- Emma (8/5): Great for a night - It was perfect for what we paid and pub and Indian restaurant downstairs were lovely. Very basic amenities but overall fine.
- TRACEY (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Not a lot The room was cold or hot, as heating only was on or off.
The room had light coming in around windows and doors so it was like having a light on. There was no hot water to shower,
Very basic not that comfortable
- Chris (5/5): Ok for one night - Room ok . Tea and coffee in room with bottled water Breakfast cancelled. An email telling us breakfast was not being served would have helped. Told cafe opposite was open but it closes on Sundays had to go walking to find somewhere to eat breakfast . Car park very small and hard to get car in felt misled with parking bathroom not clean
- Sue (5/5): Disappointing - The location. The bed was comfy and it was relatively quiet. No breakfast available despite it being both advertised as an option when we booked and also mentioned the same week of our stay in the email from the hotel. The bathroom was old and dirty, including the towels used, one of which had brown marks on it. The shower was pathetic with very low pressure. Our friends had a proper shower in their standard room with an overhead option as well as the smaller, portable shower head. The tv didn’t work. We didn’t report this as we weren’t particularly bothered but it would be a problem for a longer stay. There is no proper reception area; it’s the bar! This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel as advertised. The decor is very dated.
- Rankin (6/5): - Friendly staff. Good position and a car park.
Room was clean
Bed was comfortable
Nice and warm No hot water in the room .
Light in the bathroom above the mirror didn't work.
Toilet took 3 pushes on the flush to actually work.
Very noisy from the bar but quiet when everyone gone
- Helen (8/5): Clean, comfortable beds...friendly staff -
- Helen (8/5): Tres bien -
- Sally (2/5): Very disappointing - Location although it was a lot further from the beach. No housekeeping at all, so, nothing in our room was cleaned or replenished. No breakfast, they recommended we went out. Only live tv was bbc through iplayer, no other channels. No staff to ask as our only contact was barman who couldn't help.
- seonaid (1/5): Dreadful - room hadn't been cleaned correctly - Shower did not work, only cold water from it, old sweets on bedside table, sweet wrappers on bed. coffee cup not clean, hairdryer blew up, TV kept cutting out. Dog poo everywhere in parking area, noisy and young people swearing and cursing everything
- Sophie (10/5): - Breakfast was ok not the best but location is perfect x
- Michael (8/5): -
- HELEN (9/5): Clean hotel, comfortable beds, excellent location - Location excellent
Breakfast n/a
- Jackie (7/5): Reasonably priced, staff were lovely - Breakfast was fab but not in the price of the room, 10 for English Breakfast cooked fresh, well worth the extra money
- Marlene (5/5): - Excellent breakfast
- Anka (7/5): Goed - Douche kon je niet regelen betreft temperatuur.
- Katie (8/5): Great little spot by the beach! - The hotel was easy to find, however if you have a car go round the back as the parking is at the back of the hotel. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, they showed us exactly where to go and what to do to gain access to the hotel after hours. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well presented. We had a very pleasant and comfortable night. The only problem we had was the shower, it was very low pressure. I’m glad I didn’t need to wash my hair! We also didn’t have any hot water on the first day. Everything else was perfect.
- helen (9/5): Good value for money - Hotel was clean, beds comfortable & excellent location
- maddy (1/5): -
- Natalie (3/5): Thought it was going to be better. - The beds were comfy and there was a working kettle and some complimentary water. The TV didn't work properly and the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. There was also a lack of toilet paper. The breakfast server didn't know about allergies at all.
- Mr g (8/5): Everything on the high street you could want.. -
- Laura (3/5): Good location but not suitable for families - We didn’t have a pleasant stay here the room was not clean, decor was poor there was black could on bathroom ceiling, brown stains on grouting check in process not clear there is no separate reception you have to walk through the bar, the gentleman was in the middle of checking us in and then left to deal with another customer who has come in after us. After having driven for six hours with two young children and a dog we were left waiting 15 minute to finally be shown to our room. Not clean
Black mould
Check in process too long left waiting
- Tejay (8/5): -
- Nicola (1/5): We would never stay here again worst hotel we have ever stayed in - Location was lovely but breakfast was not provided as they got the time of our departure wrong - no refund offered very rude member of staff The hotel was very dated, tired decor strange smell everywhere bathroom smelt mouldy if door left closed mouldy windows - the member of staff who we spoke to in the morning was very rude and argumentive
- Keith (7/5): Great location - Excellent stay with amazing staff very friendly and helpful and a fab breakfast we had a great stay
- Gareth (6/5): Disapointed but staff helpfull in trying to resolve issues. - Both bedside lamps not working,tv remote control not working, hot water took 10minutes to warm up on shower,no hot water at bathroom sink As above, but staff polite, helpfull and bar/dining room good,friendly..
- P-G (8/5): Excellent - Super friendly staff, perfect location in a smashing town The shower could do with an update
- Dan (1/5): UNWARM WELCOME! - Excellent location for Hythe NO Breakfast as advertised and requested!! Unimpressed!!
Dirty room...cracked sink,hairs in bath,Poor overall maintenance.
Staff could not care less! Unapologetically palmed off with a weak shrug of the shoulders.
Stairs very steep!
Room was freezing cold...had to request a heater.
I will be contacted trading standards.
- Elisabeth (8/5): -
- Lang (1/5): noise till +2am - The room itself and the staff were pleasant. However, I had booked two rooms for myself and my brothers as we were attending a family funeral early the following morning. Unknown to us at the time of booking, the hotel was hosting a staff party that evening.
As is often the case with such events, the noise continued until approximately 2 am on the morning of 22 December. As we needed to leave for the funeral at 7 am, this resulted in a significant lack of sleep, which had a considerable impact on what was already an emotionally difficult day.
Given the circumstances, I feel it would have been reasonable for us to have been informed of this event in advance, allowing us to make an alternative arrangement.
- Philip (10/5): very nice place cnter hythe great location - all was good all good
- Byron (10/5): - Great place 👌
- Sean (8/5): Great stop off for travelling, excellent location, great free parking and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. - Comfortable and brilliant location
- Karen (8/5): - Room OK with comfy bed and private bathroom. Very noisy as it was above the bar, but luckily this stopped after about 11.15pm The shower didn't work!!

- Billy (7/5): Short and pleasant - The staff were very nice room we stayed in was nice big space bar was good darts, pool table small and cosy didn’t try food only thing that let it down was tv as it did have a good aerial signal none lol and internet was very slow but ha ho

- Briffitt-Collis (6/5): - The clean room , t and coffee No breakfast as chefs mum had died.. bed was so hard.
- Andrii (7/5): - Located in the city center. It’s noisy because it’s located above a pub/restaurant.
- Thomas (7/5): Nice base for the night. Staff very good - Wasn’t there long, but if travelling to le shuttle perfectly situated. Also central to the town with a lively atmosphere until 11. Loads of places in very close proximity to Car park is a little tight to manoeuvre but fine
