Varios aspectos importantes de la reserva no se cumplieron. Se anunciaba bañera de hidromasaje y no existía. También se indicaba parking privado, pero no se ofreció ninguna plaza y tuvimos que aparcar en la calle. Además, solicitamos una plancha y no se nos facilitó. Por otro lado, las fotos de la habitación no se correspondían con la realidad, lo que genera una clara sensación de engaño. Considero que son elementos importantes que influyen en la elección del alojamiento y en el precio pagado.

La amabilidad de la dueña, su complacencia ante mis peticiones, la amabilidad del personal, la tranquilidad y belleza del lugar y de la casa ! El desayuno servido con mimo y detalles cariños! En suma, me he sentido acogido y a gusto casi como en mi propia casa ! Sin hablar de la cercanía a la bella ciudad de Toledo.... El no haber disfrutado más tiempo, ya que fui a una formación que absorbió casi todo el día. Me hubiera gustado disfrutar de la preciosa piscina y jardines!

Boli sme celý deň v Tolede a našli sme izbu upratanú, čo sme ani nečakali. Veľmi sa mi páčila aj záhrada. Bazén sme žiaľ nevyužili, ale mohli sme. Ešte bola studená voda. Ale bol veľmi lákavý. S radosťou by sme ostali dlhšie ale museli sme ísť ďalej.

A lovely generous breakfast was also provided. The villa is about 6 kms from Toledo so access could be a problem without a car.

• HD1994 (10/5): Perfect place for Puy de Fou or Toledo - The hosts were wonderful. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was gorgeous and done with great care. It was different each morning from melon, iberico, filled pastries, toast, jams and eggs to kiwi salami, cheese and walnut cake. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully designed. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Their family room upstairs is spacious, with a sitting area & very comfortable bed, huge bathroom & private veranda. Additional outdoor sitting areas are located at the main entrance under a roofed terrace overlooking the pool. Our host was very accommodating & offered some helpful info on Toledo upon arrival. Una muy buena opción para pasar un fin de semana muy relajado sin estar muy lejos de Toledo. La zona tiene solo 1 sitio para comer/cenar pero hay un gran centro comercial a 5min

• Dixon (3/5): All show and no substance and very unpleasant owners. - Private villa on the back of owners own property. Owner goes very much for the presentation so everything looks lovely and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and attractive. I do not know how this place gets 5* reviews! Free parking? (the only reason we booked this property) - on the street! we insisted on parking( after we eventually got the owner to come to the gate) and were allowed behind gates on the owners drive but they wanted to keep our keys so they could move our car when they needed to! Not happening! The owners only speak and understand English when they want to. The place is like Fort Knox which made me feel very uncomfortable - you have keys for the outside gate, the house, the bedroom (which was in a little corridor) and for the bedroom. On the way in that evening, the gate would not open and when I eventually got the key to work and pushed the gate, I cut my finger open on the very sharp iron. I almost fainted and there was no-one around to get help from or some first aid. We tried to contact the owner and I sent her a picture of what had happened but did not get a response. If I could add audio I would. The owners then decided to let their kids have a pool party with a lot of screaming and very loud music right outside our window. At 9.30pm I asked the owner when this would stop and she was very rude. She said she had no idea what my problem was and did not understand why I sent her a picture of my cut finger (I sent her the messages in Spanish!) After 30 mins she and her husband came to the room and said if I was in Spain then I should expect parties into the night as the weather is hot! - she said her kids always have pool parties and finish around 10-10.30pm. I asked her for a First Aid kit to bandage my finger which was still bleeding and very painful and she shrugged! I eventually got a make do plaster! The breakfast was all show! Some cold ham, cheese, yoghurt, kiwi, tomatoes and a cold, softish boiled egg. She did not know what decaffeinated coffee was so I had to go without. She came with some toast which was white, cold and so hard it was almost impossible to eat. Looked pretty but that was it.

• Merih (9/5): I advice this place to everyone who looks for a lovely break in the area. - The host was excellent. She welcomes her guests with warmth. She has elegant touch in her place for its' decoration, cleanness and comfort. We did not use the pool, because of the season, but the garden, the pool area looked great and very beautiful. We also parked at the villa's parking area. The breakfasts were good, with a charming homemade feel. While the service was friendly and personalized, it could be slightly more efficient at times. Having a few hot breakfast options readily available in the dining room, like scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, and perhaps a carafe of coffee on each table, would be a great addition. Overall, it's a lovely place, and the host's kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay special.

The house and gardens were spacious and absolutely spotless. It's such a shame that i arrived as the Coronavirus lockdown came into effect :( Toledo looks stunning but i could not go to any of the museums or restaurants. Still, Spain is beautiful and I hope to be back soon.

• Jeanette (10/5): Amazing place with excellent hosts - Villa Marin is a wonderful oasis just outside Toledo. The room was well appointed and the furnishings were excellent with super comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. The home cooked breakfast in the morning was great with several options. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful with planning our trip to Toledo and restaurant recommendations. It's a short 5 minute drive to Toledo and well worth it for the tranquility.
• Vamsi (10/5): Best Place to Stay in Toledo - The best place to stay to explore Toledo. Very easy to find and the host was very helpful in explaining the local area and the places to explore. The breakfast is simple but great with high quality products. The kids loved the pool and the Jacuzzi. Will definitely go back.
