- Zsófia (4/5): Disappointing - We liked the floor heating, the ethanol fire, and the comfortable beds. The house was generally clean. We also liked that we were able to select the rubbish. The location was also good, and the nature and wild life were beautiful around the chalets. We didn't like that they advertise themselves as luxurious, but they don't even provide enough coffee or shampoo for your stay. For a family of four they only provided a tiny container of shampoo, regardless the fact that we stayed 3 nights. Same with the coffee. When we asked for more coffee and shampoo( which has never been a problem even in a caravan park in the past for us) the lady we called simply denied it. It's not good enough when you're playing $700 per night, the accommodation goes on and on about how luxurious they are, but you need to drive to the nearest town to get some coffee and shampoo:(
The stuff was never in the office when we tried to talk to them. The lighting in the chalet was already very poor, plus neither of the kitchen lights worked when we got there. They came to fix one of the lights, which worked for a while, then stopped working again. We could hardly see while cooking, but we didn't bother asking again.
The kettle was also very old and leaking.
Some of the bowls and plates were dirty in the kitchen. So as the handles of the cupboard doors.
- Judi (9/5): An exceptional stay with fantastic views, location and ambience! - Loved the location - close to the Wild Brumby distillery and restaurant so we booked in for a late lunch Friday afternoon. We were able to park right next to our cabin, we could wander all over the property's many trails. We were lucky enough to see wildlife such as kangaroos and rabbits. Wombats were very elusive though. The cabin itself was set up very well and we enjoyed evenings by the fire, cooking on the bbq and just enjoying the ambience. A great stay! We were a little too close to the Alpine Way - I would ask for a cabin further away from the main road for our next stay.
- Candice (9/5): Superb - Loved the heated flooring and large living area space
