• Irene (10/5): Mooi hotel in prachtige omgeving - We kregen een upgrade van een bungalow naar een lekkere hotelkamer. Dat was erg fijn, lekkere kamer en prima ontbijt Leuke lokatie waar je in de buurt nog fijn kunt wandelen Goede keuken! Douchen in bad Kan verder niets verzinnen, was erg goed

• Federico (7/5): Sitio tranquilo - El entorno es muy bonitos, hay pequeños lagos alrededor y está muy tranquilo. Los bungalow son bastante viejos y en general las instalaciones necesitan un buen mantenimiento. El buffet del desayuno no está mal, pero es muy básico.

• Ellen (8/5): Leuk verblijf, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! - Lokatie was prima, erg leuk zo'n kabouterhuisje! Ontbijtbuffet in het hotel was erg goed. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Aandacht voor kuilen in de weg naar de huisjes! Bij slecht weer kan dit problemen geven. De bewegwijzering naar de huisjes achter het hotel kan iets beter.

• Nirbhay (6/5): Even though we enjoyed one night stay there, we dont think we got the value for the money we paid. - Bathroom was too small and did not have any soap and shampoo etc. Breakfast was lovely We were given the impression that WiFi was included but no WiFi in the cottage. You have to walk over to the main building. No toiletries in the room. No WiFi in the cottage.

• Ivan (10/5): We would have loved to stay in this beautiful location for a few days if we had more time. - The cottage was well-appointed, clean, and spacious, with a private bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

• Nicolette (8/5): Very pleasant - I booked and paid for the bungalow as we were a family of 4. A few days prior to check-in, received an email from Laki Hotel offering to upgrade us from bungalow to the hotel. They put us in 2 rooms across the hall from each other. Appreciate the gesture! As all the reviews here have already mentioned - the breakfast is splendid. Fresh and high quality. The dining room is modern and clean, and the husband & wife team is very friendly and helpful. The only con is our room was below the dining room and we heard furniture moving and shuffling very loudly at 11 pm. Not to move furniture late at night.

Allt of dýrt, bæði saladið og vínið. Mér líkað ekki Sesarsaladið sem ég fékk mér í kvöldmat, þurr kjúklingur og engin dressing. Of þurrt en kálið ferskt og gott.

• AH Tan (8/5): Overall a good stay but not quite what I expected - The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Staying at a cabin was quite an experience. The cabin, though well equipped, was very small. The hotel rooms in comparison looked more spacious and comfortable. The location of hotel was quite a distance from the main road. The small road was not lit at night. So its a bit challenging.

• Dorenbos (5/5): If I was a poor sharecropper in the 1920's this would be a decent room. - The breakfast was good. The bungalow was built in the 1970's and hasn't been updated since. Also, they are tiny. If I was a sharecropper in the 1920's this would be a decent room. I stayed in Akureyri for 2 days right before this, and it was half of the price of these "bungalows" and absolutely beautiful. Also the bathroom in the bungalow is getting moldy. Would not recommend. Sorry.

• Geoff (9/5): Beautiful hotel with incredible food - The staff were amazing, restaurant was amazing for both dinner and included breakfast. The location was very quiet and serene. Hotel room was very small for 3 people, we booked a bungalow and were moved to hotel room for convenience and they had a broken sofa bed in bungalow.

• Daan (10/5): - Mooi hotel met een heel goed restaurant, we verbleven in een van de bungalows die wel wat gedateerd zijn maar erg gezellig zijn ingericht. Bij aankomst kregen we een upgrade naar het hotel aangeboden maar we wilden graag overnachten in een bungalow en daar hebben we geen spijt van gehad. Het ontbijt dat is inbegrepen is perfect.

• TIDEN (4/5): It is a misleading listing! - This bungalow is completely unsuitable for a group of five. We were incredibly cramped. Four people were uncomfortably sharing one tiny bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, and the fifth was on a cot in another small room. The entire unit offered bare-minimum accommodations, including a ridiculously small bathroom. The listing's capacity is highly misleading. It was an uncomfortable stay. Everything about the unit felt bare minimum. If you are a party of more than two, do not book this property. It was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience.
• Thomas Janssens (8/5): - Wir haben auch auf Grund des schlechten Wetters ein kostenloses Upgrade vom Bungalow auf ein Hotelzimmer angeboten bekommen. Da wir an dem Tag nass bis auf die Unterhose waren, war das ein willkommenes Geschenk, was wir sehr gerne angenommen haben. Dadurch konnten wir uns in der Badewanne erst einmal wieder aufwärmen da wir durch die nassen Sachen auch etwas unterkühlt waren. Das Frühstück im Hotel war, nachdem wir in vielen Hostels unser Frühstück selbst zubereitet hatten, eine willkommene Abwechslung, da wir einfach ans vielfältige Buffet gehen und uns bedienen konnten. An negativen Dingen ist uns vor Ort nichts aufgefallen außer dass das Hotel gut gefüllt war, sodass wir erst ein bisschen gucken mussten, bis wir einen Parkplatz ausfindig gemacht haben.

• Gerald (8/5): Durchreisehütte für ein bis zwei Nächte - Bungalows sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Wir bekamen gleich bei der Ankunft ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten um im Hotelkomplex zu bleiben. Wir haben aber den Bungalow behalten. Für 1-2 Nächte ok. Länger nur wenn man es sehr rustikal mag. Einige Dinge könnte man mit wenig Aufwand in Ordnung bringen. Die Angestellten waren sehr nett und es war auch sauber. Preise im Restaurant eher Oberklasse. Div. einfache Reperaturarbeiten nicht gemacht wie zb. Türschloss, Wasserhahn. Kein Kühlschrank vorhanden.

• amanda (6/5): Fair. Would not pay the extra for the bungalow. - Good location. Restaurant and bar on-site. We paid extra for a bungalow which gave us a little more room with the promise of a view. We had no view. Whilst the bungalow was ‘cosy’ in our opinion it needs some upgrading of bathroom and storage. The rooms in the hotel were significantly less expensive and were more modern. The quality of linen was fair. We had to walk from bungalow to hotel for meals and WiFi- no umbrella was provided.

Beautiful view and outfitted with everything we needed for our overnight stay. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast buffet with coffee to go!

Personale gentile e disponibile. Letto matrimoniale comodo. Riscaldamento buono. Cottage potenzialmente belli ma in uno stato di manutenzione pessimo. Docce con durata limitata…. Ci siamo ritrovati sotto l’acqua fredda! Il boiler è condiviso tra i due cottage adiacenti. Divano letto scomodissimo, materasso assente, le bambine si sono giustamente lamentate perché hanno dovuto dormire su una tavola di legno….

Het is erg klein. We waren hier voor 1 nacht en dan is het prima te doen maar langer zou niet prettig zijn. Het sanitair is verouderd en ziet er niet schoon uit. Tijdens het douchen liep de hele ruimte vol water met als gevolg natte voeten ‘s nachts tijdens als je naar toilet moest. Sowieso prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken. Echt te duur voor wat je krijgt.

The kitchen could be better equipped, lacked enough plates and silverware, and pans to cook on. Besides that everything as good :)!

Hanno sfruttato il piccolo spazio in maniera ottimale, mettendoci a nostro agio con valigie, giacche ecc. Abbiamo dormito molto bene e la colazione nell’Hotel di fianco era molto ricca.
