• Forrester (9/5): The Bell Tower was in an excellent location to downtown close to downtown and groceries as well as shopping and evening - The location was fabulous. And the facility was very clean. We couldn’t regulate the upstairs temperature so found it very hot in the main living area.

• Joyce (9/5): - Location was perfect as in the city centre. Directions on how to access the property were sent to me before arrival. I was staying at the property with 2 people I support. Both of these liked the property. I think the window in the living room had condensation on it the first night due to the weather and when I woke up the next morning, noticed it had tickled down the wall. No other faults to property, just to update the information booklet

• anita (9/5): - The apartment was excellent and a great location. A few small details needed maintenance-no stop in the bath tub and shower room door was at times hard to open and close. Otherwise it is a fabulous apartment!
• Jacqui (9/5): Brilliant stay made better by exceptional property. - Location perfect. Light and airy, plenty of space for two couples. Fixtures and fittings exceptional. Kitchen utensils, crockery etc fabulous. A wee bit difficult to get fresh air circulating in property but accept that this is due to the fact that it’s an old building.

• Julia (8/5): - The location was excellent and in walking distance of the town and the event village for the Loch Ness Marathon. Instructions from the owners were very clear and helpful. The only very slight niggle that we had was that we couldn’t find a plug for the bath in the main bathroom. After running the Loch Ness Marathon, a relaxing soak would have been very welcome.
• Paul (10/5): - My family and I stayed here and we thoroughly liked it. Excellent location right off the Grieg street walking bridge. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. The check in process with the owners was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend.

Auch der Parkplatz vor dem Haus oder in der Nähe war sehr hilfreich. Eine Garderobe für Jacken oder Ablage im Bad, sowie Kommoden geben wir als Anregung mit. Ablageflaeche und Aufhängung für Handtücher und Utensilien haben wir vermisst. Das Türschloss der Wohnungseingangstüre ging teilweise schlecht zum öffnen und zum schließen mit dem Schlüssel. Die Badtüre beim großen Schlafzimmer hängt am Blech des Rahmens. Das sollte nachgestellt werden.

• Matthew (10/5): Brilliant stay in the heart of Scotland! - This property was amazing, bedrooms on ground floor, so no lugging suitcases upstairs, comfortable living area upstairs with kitchen, and 3 bathrooms total. It had a washing machine, brilliant heating system, which we didn't even really need, and spotlessly clean. Right outside the property you walk across a bridge over the pretty River Ness and you're in the centre of town with pubs and restaurants everywhere. Tescos supermarket just around the corner. This apartment was perfect for our family, thank you!

This is our 2nd stay with friends from Norway who also were impressed with the property and location. Perhaps the folder could include a welcome in different languages?

• Carol (10/5): Amazing location, safe, - The property is lovely, its layout is rather quirky upstairs but we absolutely loved it, the location was amazing right on the waterfront that was perfect, one thing we did note was the heating & the shower in the bathroom these were absolutely amazing the house heated up within ten mins and the shower was roasting & brilliant water pressure (nothing worse than a slow weak shower), was definitely the best thing for me esp after a day of walking etc Also the stairway/close was safe and well lit another good point esp for any females traveling Absolutely nothing that we didn’t like about the property it was perfect all round

Everything you could need in a lovely kitchen, including a washing machine. Ensuites for both bedrooms and an extra toilet up stairs. Great location , close to lots of pubs and restaurants and supermarkets if needed. The beds were a bit soft and you rolled into the dip in the middle.

• Dianne (8/5): Nice space for a long stay. - The location is great. Quiet area, short walk over the walking bridge to the center of the city. Laundry was handy and there was a hanging rack which was nice. Plenty of items in the kitchen for cooking and nice dining setup. Would work well for long stay. The bed tilted in so we were quite cozy all night. The window sills are deep because it's an old stone building. Made curtains a bit hard to maneuver.

Also the apartment did not have views of the river which we thought it would have. The pictures are a little deceiving. The apartment was at the back of the building and all windows looked into another brick building.

Happy with our choice the moment we walked in the door, clean apartment, beds comfortable, and we really appreciated the number of towels given in each bath. All was good, we loved this unit.

• Ashutosh (7/5): Good - The ensuite bathroom door doesn't function well. It gets stuck when fully closed, and the person inside can't get out without the help of someone outside. This obviously is unsafe and needs to be rectified ASAP. The kitchen tap also is a bit wobbly and needs to be more secure to its base.

• Mark (7/5): It was fine except for not being able to access the property the first night. - We could not access the property on the first night and had to rent a hotel instead. This was very frustrating! The owner said they provided the proper instructions to Booking.com, which I believe, but Booking.com did not relay those instructions to me. I would very much like to receive a refund of 25% of what I paid for the Bell Tower.
• Luciana (10/5): Gorgeous apartment in great central location. - This spacious and well appointed apartment was close to everything but still quiet. It has two well sized bathrooms on the bottom level with a bathroom on the level. Upstairs was a beautiful kitchen living dining area. If you have a longer stay, you could easily cook in the apartment. There is a toilet on the upper level which is handy. The hosts were fabulous when I had to call a few times to clarify the directions (it’s not hard to find, I was having a Mr Bean moment) I highly recommend this apartment with it’s gorgeous river view. All was great.

This booking was a 3-5 minute walk from the major shopping, restaurant, and pub area in Inverness. Nice showers in the bathrooms, plenty of space, nice big fridge. View was amazing. Host was pleasant and friendly. Would definitely stay here again The beds were not comfortable, and some investment into new mattresses would be great. I did not receive instructions on how to access the apartment, but a quick phone call to the very nice owner pointed me directly to the lockbox for the keys. Would liked to have had more information about the history and why the building is called "The Bell Tower"

The bed on the pull out couch was terribly uncomfortable - when lying on the bed the mattress is so thin the metal frame sticks through it making it a painful sleep!

The host was very kind in sending us instructions on how to turn the the heating on as the weather suddenly turned very cold. We were also very grateful for the approval for late check out request at no extra cost. We would love to stay at this property again. The taxi at drop off was unclear as to where the property was. However a call to the host soon had us in the right place. A kind neighbour assisted us with a torch to let us into the key box as it was very dark.
