- Viktoriia (10/5): - це дуже комфортні апартаменти, в номерах було все , щоб приготувати, пити, все нове, не зламане , за нашим проханням додавався додатковий посуд, через те що в номері немає пральної машини пані Ліжия запропонувала попрати наші речі, також ми користувалися платною пральнею за мийці (10 хв від дома) 8 євро , апарти знаходяться в рівній віддаленості як від центра так і від бот саду і фунікульору . Якшо Ви на авто все буде супер - є місце для парковки і у дворі і біля , Ми задоволені , фото 100% відповідають дійсності якщо ви пішкі ходите це біда) в Фуншалі немає доріг для пішоходів (( просто відстрибуєшь від машин , але це не про дім , а про Фуншал і його дороги , але все ж таки щоб дійти до дому потрібно пройти цю дорогу

Very steep walk down to the old town, fine for me but worth considering for other travellers, a few cooking items, oil or seasonings would be of use as only on a short stay so purchasing a little pointless.

- Juhász (6/5): - Ha kértünk valamit, törölköző, wc papír, gyorsan megkaptuk, kedves volt a tulaj. Szép a kilátás a városra. Nagyon hangos az első szoba, gyakorlatilag aludni ott nem igen lehet. A konyha abszolút nincs felszerelve, még pohár sem elég, és minden más is hiányzik. Penészes dohos szag a konyhában, bevette már a szekrény, evőeszközök.
- DomenRabič (10/5): Would come back again - We spent 2 weeks in the studio apartment, and it was perfectly suited for 2 people. The studio features a clean, comfortable bed, a basic but well-equipped kitchen, and a renovated bathroom. The house sits at a nice spot overlooking Funchal. There’s a secure private driveway available for parking but it’s quite narrow, so better suited for confident drivers. Otherwise, there are a few parking spaces along the street. The host Ligia is also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again :) The Wi-Fi connection doesn't work most of the time so we had to rely on our internet data which wasn't a problem for us. There's also a very busy road right next to the house so if you're not a sound sleeper, keep that in mind.

- Doris (10/5): Loved our stay and the island is fantastic and we would love to visit again😄 - The home is located about 2km up the hill from the main town. It was an easy walk downtown and a number of buses service the area so you can take a bus back. There was a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. There is a fair amount of traffic on the one street, so if you are a light sleeper earplugs might be needed. That said it was totally fine.

La mauvaise odeur d humidité sous évier de la cuisine , la cuisine vraiment très petite pour 2., le wifi ne fonctionnait pas. Appartement climatisé serait un plus . Il n est pas normal que la propriétaire ait dû nous informer à 9h30 qu à 12h elle avait une inspection de notre location . C est très désagréable pour nous ( a partir du moment où nous avons payé notre loyer nous sommes chez nous ) mais aussi pour la propriétaire.nous pensons que les inspections des appartements loués peuvent se faire quand ils sont vides . Ce n est pas respectable pour nous ,pour la propriétaire.

- Rebecca (10/5): nice little apartment - I really felt comfortable here. great value for the price. a little kitchen with a big fridge, and a nice bathroom. Two friendly cats saying hello now and then was a plus for me . everything was really clean. it is up the hill (20-30min walk) from the Center of Funchal, but for those without a car, there are several busses that take you downtown for 1.95 Euro. bus station is a minute from the house. it's worth checking the bus map.

- Andrei (10/5): Exceptional - Very pleasant host who allowed me to keep the room after usual check-out time; comfortable bed and pillows, furnished kitchen. Also a very nice and funny cat Cookie. Some street noise can be heard but that's just portuguese driving style :)
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, Ligia is a really nice person. We had also things like shampoo or shower gel. Everything was really clean and a kitchen has everything what you need. I have to also mention about our small neighbour - cookie is super nice cat :) and I should also mention about the views from the garden - breakfast or dinner there is amazing experience. I highly recommend this place.

- Marie-Claire (8/5): - Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und wurden freundlich empfangen. Man konnte sich gut zurückziehen. Die Möglichkeit ohne großen Einblick draußen unter Bananenpalmen zu sitzen war sehr schön. Der Straßenlärm ist hingegen sehr präsent. Auch nachts. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist etwas sporadisch, reicht aber allemal aus. Uns fiel es etwas schwer, den Eingang zu finden, da er sich direkt an einer sehr steilen Straße befindet und nichts auf die Unterkunft hinweist. Einen „entspannten“ Parkplatz finden man in den umliegenden Straßen.

- Urška (5/5): Passable - The host is very kind and the location is perfect to go to Funchal city centre, the port and to drive around the island. Airport is just 15min away. The apartment is in between two main roads so it's very loud all day and night, so it's difficould to rest.
- Dharel (10/5): It’s hard not to love this place. - An amazing host with a beautiful property,a perfect location if you’ve your own mode of transport. A lovely apartment and beautiful garden. Definitely a best stay so far. Ligia was extremely kind and very responsive, she also suggested us nice bakery/cafe nearby and there were stores in walking distance. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Very functional for longer stays. - - Ligia is a Great Host and made our stay even better - The place has everything you need. Beautiful bathroom, functional kitchen and a table outside the room, which overlooks the little green jungle that Ligia created :) - It's a very convenient location, as it's near by 2 bus stops and you can hope on a bus and get to the city center in no time - 5-10 minutes from the place, you will find a nice bakery, supermarket and a grocery shop with nice vegetables/fruits - The airport bus passes by from here as well, so you don't need to go to the city center :) - What you can't figure out from google maps, if you don't pay enough attention is that everything here is on steep hills, so is this house. If you're planning to walk from the city center to the house every day a few times, forget about it. There are many busses that you can take or use the BOLT app, which costs as much as the bus ticket most of the time

- Paul van de (8/5): - Leuke accommodatie. Klein maar Prima voor een weekje. Heeft keukentje met alles erop ek eraan. Super vriendelijke host. Heel fijn ontvangen. Ligging is prima als uitvalsabasis voor dagtrips. Zeker een aanrader.

- Klaudia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent! Apartment is really cozy, fully and very good equipped, very comfortable bed, beautiful view from terrace. Ligia is very kind and helpful. Place is not far away from centrum, but it is quite hard up hill to go back to place, but for me was okay, additional cardio/hiking ;). For sure I’ll be back to this place while next time in Madeira, I recommend!

- Jakub (8/5): - Nice small but cozy room, own kitchen and bathroom. The owner gave us some usefull tips and was overall really sweet. Its quite far from the center if you decide to walk and also the road is really steep.

The host was brilliant and very friendly which had made our stay special, nothing was not to much for her to help when needed . My family and I will definitely stay here again. N/a

- Aislu (10/5): Bus driver forgot about our bus station and we needed to go up the hill all the way. It was very difficult. Just to note - Owner was very nice and she recommended us the bakery around the corner, which is the absolute highlight. There are fruits growing in the garden. And the house is uphill, so the most convenient way is to go by bus or car. Maybe put some coffee or tea in the kitchen.
- Yvette (8/5): A cozy home indeed :) - The host Ligia. We arrived early and called our host because the place was difficult to find. There are multiple houses with the same number. Fortunately Ligia was very helpful and we could enter our studio. Our baby had a great baby bed and there was a kitchen so we could cook dinner if we had an early night. The studio was clean and nearby center Funchal. The kitchen did not have any windows which made it hard to air out and have daylight. So the temperature was always 24 degrees.

- Michał (8/5): Good place to stay in Funchal - Good location close to a bus stop. Walk down to city center takes around 15mins. For adult it's possible to go up on foot but it's quite challenging. For a family it's necessary to go back with a bus. There are multiple buses that stops very close to apartment. The room was quite spacious and very clean. We managed to get a good sleep with 4 YO kid (he slept in kid bed). Very nice owner, who is extra helpful ;) The kitchen could have some basic ingredients (sugar, salt).
- Corina (8/5): We had a comfortable stay. - We had hot water and good WI-FI connection, the kitchen was equipped, no loud noises besides the cars passing through the road; if you are a light sleeper, it might be an issue. I slept well, but my husband was able to hear them sometimes. Also the communication with Ligia went well and she was friendly. There was some mold on the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom one could have been cleaner. Also, if you do not like cats (it is not our case as we are huge cat lovers and have one of our own) you might be bothered by the feces and vomit in the yard.
