- Zoë (9/5): Perfect boutique accommodation in Cortona. - La Corte Di Ambra is perfectly located in the historic Cortona city canter (in centro). The rooms are elegant , very clean, well-equipped, and there is a lift for easy access. My husband and I had a perfect one-night stay and we wished we could stay longer. Sara is a lovely hostess, very knowledgeable about the town, and she even made an omelette to order for my husband on the spot. The breakfast room was cozy and included pastries homemade by Sara’s mother. We will definitely return. I highly recommend!

We loved this room very much. It was very comfortable in every regard and simply beautiful. Every morning we were served a very good breakfast with home made focaccia , cakes and amazing croissants. Sara and her mom made our stay very special and comfortable. We really loved this place. Everything was great.

- Alan (10/5): A home away from home in Cortona. We’ll be back. - What a great family owned and operated boutique hotel/B&B in beautiful Cortona. Come get a taste of the Tuscan sun here. The hotel is in a 14th century palazzo that has been thoughtfully and carefully modernized to include all the modern amenities. In the heat of June the air conditioned room was most welcome. A large bedroom with a large attached bathroom including a separate tub and shower. Sara, our host, communicated efficiently and effectively from the time of our reservation to the time of our departure. She’s a bit of a one woman show as she runs the property. She provided a generous breakfast daily with plenty of delicious options. Her mother bakes the cakes and croissants. They are so tasty. Located inside the walls of the old medieval town the hotel is less than 200 meters from convenient paid public parking. Close to everything. It was like staying with family, only better!

History beckons in this recently renovated period building with an interesting past. Great location, wonderful assistance in getting in & out of the old town, beautifully prepared breakfast and great conversation with what was 3 generations of family that we met. Room cleanliness my only negative.
