• Selena (10/5): Excellent and beyond our expectations. - Excellent find. The riad has been renovated to an amazing standard with so many little touches that make it special. The service by its owners, Laurent & Anne and their staff, particularly Abdul was above and beyond. Laurent and Abdul gave such good recommendations in terms of restaurants and places to visit to see great architecture. Being greeted every day with hot tea and cookies everyday after a day at the medina was excellent! Breakfast was also very good each day and I have to say the quality exceeded what we got at the Oberoi in Marrakesh. Well done to the team at Riad Antara. We enjoyed our stay with you and we look forward to another visit, maybe this time we will have more time to use your hydrotherapy pool..

• Melanie (10/5): Lovely, luxe riad with outstanding service in the heart of Marrakech! - Just fabulous home away from home! Everything from the time we arrived was perfect. The Riad is gorgeously appointed, everything was clean, luxe, well-maintained and most of all, service from all the staff was impeccable. Laurent and Anne, the owners, were on hand to welcome us the moment we arrived. Then we were served tea and snacks in the “garden” while our luggage was brought up to our room. Laurent went out of his way to tell us the way around the Medina and how to get to certain places we wanted to go to during our visit. We also tried the massage and Hammam both of which were perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the staff went out of their way to prep ours earlier than their usual start time on our checkout day as we had an early departure. All in all, a fabulous experience! Nothing! Everything was perfect!
• Mark (10/5): An exceptional riad where Anne, Laurent, Abdul and the entire team made us feel completely at home with their warm hospi - The architecture and design are absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful oasis in the heart of the medina. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance, yet the riad is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. The rooms are very comfortable and impeccably clean, and the rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread and yoghurt we looked forward to each morning. Nothing at all – it was all wonderful

Everything is within walking distance from the riad, and the owners/managers go out of their way to provide advise and service. The staff is extremely helpful and professional, the breakfast with homemade bread and yoghurt is delicious, the beds are very comfortable, and the room was impeccably clean and very quiet. A glass of wine or a cup of mint tea on the rooftop terrace was the perfect way to wind down after an interesting and fascinating day in the medina. We also loved the hammam and massage, and would love to come back. Nothing could be better.

We konden steeds rekenen op Laurent voor het plannen van activiteiten en het vinden van restaurants. Absoluut genoten van massage en hammam in de Riad. Bij vertrek ook nog onverwacht een lunchpakket meegekregen voor op het vliegtuig. In de watten gelegd dus. Door mijn knieprothesen had ik soms wat moeite met de trappen (geen leuningen) en kon ik niet gemakkelijk in en uit het zwembad (de trap was te hoog voor mij; geen leuning).

The Riad is located perfectly on the edge of the medina so it is easy to access and close to many key sites. We received outstanding service from Laurent, Anne, Abdul and the rest of the team.
• Ahmad (10/5): وجهتي الاولى دوماً في مراكش - الفندق بادارة صاحب الفندق، يوجد فقط 7 غرف. الفندق انصح فيه كأنك في قصص الخيال. صاحب المكان مهتم بأدق التفاصيل، والفريق الذي يعمل بالفندق اشبه بالعائلة يهتمون فيك كأنك الشخص الوحيد النزيل لديهم. الاثاث تقليدي وجميل ومريح، الاكل من الذ الطعام الي ممكن تجربه (طبخ بيت) الطباخة منى تحرجك بكرم الضيافة وحسن الحديث والاهتمام (زودتنا بسندويشات للطريق المطار الله يغنيهم) الحمامات كلها مجهزة بشطاف وهذا يدل على اهتمام صاحب المكان (مصطفى). الفطور في السطح سحر لا يقاوم. واذا قمت الصباح بدري شوي ممكن تلحق تشوف المنطاد من السطح وهو يطير مع شروق الشمس. الغرف مجهزة بتلفزيون سمارت مخفي (مهمتك تكتشفه ). الاخ عبده (شفت الليل) والاخ محمد (شفت النهار) محترمين جداً ويخدمونك خدمة رايقة كلها احترام وادب. الخلاصة، ستكون هذه الرياض وجهتي دوماً في مراكش. ولا شي.

• Christoph (10/5): Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt - Alles - außergewöhnlich schönes Riad mit sehr großen, sauberen und wundervoll gestalteten Zimmern, liebenswürdiges und absolut überfreundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, das beste Frühstück in ganz Marokko mit vielen hausgemachten Köstlichkeiten (Joghurt, Kuchen etc.). Der Besitzer und seine Frau hatten viele tolle Empfehlungen (Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten). Wenn man nachmittags oder abends wieder ins Riad gekommen ist, wurde man immer herzlichst willkommen geheißen - mit Tee und anderen Köstlichkeiten. 100%ige Empfehlung - wir kommen wieder!!!

Anne and Laurent, and all of the team at Riad Antara, are extremely welcoming and hospitable, nothing is ever too much trouble. Anne helped us navigate Marrakech by showing us things to see on the local map and gave us some lovely recommendations for restaurants. The Riad Antara team are an absolute delight. I cannot understate this. Such lovely, lovely people. Abdul welcomed us warmly each afternoon as we arrived back from being out and again when we returned from our evening out. We loved returning of an afternoon to cool off in the lovely pool and have a little down time. Staff offered drinks service on our return/at the pool. The ladies who made breakfast are also so lovely and their breakfasts are delicious. We especially enjoyed sampling so many different baked goods that they had made, over the course of our four night stay, and the homemade yogurt was exceptional. Anne and Laurent organised transfers for us (emailed in advance) from/to the airport on our arrival/departure and the driver was also especially warm and friendly. We requested our room be made up as a twin (rather than a King) as we were travelling as Mum/Son and this was well accommodated and ready for us on our arrival. The decor of the hotel is stunning and the room had everything we required to be comfortable. If you are reading this I genuinely encourage you to look no further. I don’t write a lot of these reviews - but I couldn’t not - Riad Antara feels like home. We will be back, my husband and daughter also now need to visit! I have no doubt that whenever we do return the Riad Antara team will all remember us and will welcome us like family returning home. Nothing!

• Al.motasem (10/5): Beyond Expectations - This is my second stay in the same property , and it gets better everytime you go there I have noticed huge GCC and specially saudi tourist visiting morroco , and it was anounced that morroco was the largest city to visit in africa by saudi in 2024. I would recomend adding a toilet Shattaf / Toilet Sprayer. I had the same omment from multiaple people who visited the place and also arab people who i met in the same place as well.

It’s beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated. Attention was put into every single detail. We loved everything about the property. Now onto the part of our stay that touched our hearts and changed our trip around.. we initially booked a different riad which turned out to be far less than our expectations. We booked our stay at riad Antara last minute when we decided to abandon our initial accommodation. Anne and Abdul met us down the street from Riad Antara and helped us carry our luggage. They even saved us from a man actively trying to swindle us for money. We were greeted with a pastry spread and Moroccan tea. Laurent owns this Riad with Anne and they made sure to treat us like family. Our last morning in Marrakech came super early.. before the sun came up. Laurent and another employee met us at the room to take our luggage down. They packed us a two person lunch to take with us on our journey to the Sahara. It was heart touching. Then, Laurent and staff carried our luggage all the way to the pick up spot we needed to be at by 6:30am - understand that the streets in Marrakech are cobble stone so dragging a heavy suitcase is no easy task. I received a text from Laurent the following day saying that we had left a very large, expensive painting behind at the Riad. Laurent went to the trouble of finding a way to package it and mail it back to us in the states. There’s not a single bad thing to say about this place. It was truly magical. Everything was taken care of for us despite booking it the day of. We love Laurent, Anne, and Abdul! We’re forever grateful. They turned our trip around for sure. Absolutely nothing

Sophisticated interiors all done with great taste! Super little touches like Moroccan slippers according to your shoe size, Moroccan sweets and tea on arrival, complementary glass of champagne before leaving, goody bag for flight as we had to leave late at night! • Rana (9/5): Home away from home - This was our first visit to Morrocco. We’re so glad for choosing Riad Antara. Laurent & Anna helped us plan the entire trip by sending us a list of historic sites, tours, activities and restaurants. We booked almost everything in advance with their help. It was like having our own local travel agent. The Riad was very stylish and cozy with attention to detail in every corner. Location was perfect next to Bahia palace and a taxi stop which was so convenient. Breakfast and Tea was amazing. Special thanks to the staff especially Abdu which was so genuine and friendly. By the end of the 5 days we felt like we have a little family in Marrakech! Lighting in the bathroom was too dim, they also could provide more pillow options, a long mirror in each room would be nice. All are minor adjustments that could improve the experience.

• Elizabeth (10/5): A glorious 5* gem where all your troubles melt away as you step behind the beautiful front door. - From the welcoming messages and check-ins we received in the weeks prior to our arrival I felt this might just be a special place to stay. But we couldn't have been more surprised by this gem hidden in the bustling streets of Marrakech. As you approach the beautiful restored wooden door there is a hint of something wonderful awaiting you. My husband and I were not disappointed. Anne and Laurent are welcoming, wonderful, kind and friendly hosts, who have lovingly returned the Riad to an exquisite 5* (and I do not exaggerate the 5*) oasis of calm where nothing is too much trouble and they and their staff cater to your needs without question. Upon arrival a refreshing cold towel, glass of iced water, traditional Moroccan welcome and a pair of Babouche await before you are shown around the stunning, and spotlessly clean, restored Riad. In our room everything was well thought through, the decor calming and luxurious, the floors heated and the bed heavenly. Breakfast on the roof terrace was an enjoyable feast each day and also a place to soak up some sunshine or sip on a refreshing drink at the end of a day exploring the Souks. We have nothing negative to say about our time spent at the Riad Antara and if you choose to stay here we hope you too will be delighted by the oasis of calm offered to you by Anne and Laurent.
